Dixie Dental | Sunset

Fantastic experience: I am a dentist and very particular about who I see for my own dental care. I chose this practice because of Dr. Hammons’ reputation for being conscientious and providing quality work and a great patient experience. From the moment I walked into the practice, I could feel the calm, congenial atmosphere. The front desk ladies were very welcoming and helpful. One thing I absolutely love about this office is that they do not overbook or rush through the visit. Dr. Hammons devotes all his time, attention, and energy to the patient in the chair with little, if any interruption. He is quick and accurate with his treatment. I had a same-day crown done and it was nearly painless both during and after the procedure. The assistant, Lullaby, is very experienced and did an excellent job taking my X-rays and keeping my mouth suctioned and comfortable during the procedure. I also had my teeth cleaned by Mindy, and she did an amazing job! I am still marveling at how smooth my teeth feel! She was extremely gentle, yet thorough, and very personable. I appreciated that the employees were meticulous with their responsibilities and kept everything extremely clean and professional. It is a cheerful place with a positive feeling, and the staff seem genuinely happy to be there and very dedicated to ensuring each patient has a wonderful visit. As a dental professional, I highly recommend Dr. Hammons and his exceptional team for all your oral healthcare needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hammon and Staff and the New Dixie Dental Sunset (formerly Hammon Dental) are always very professional, on time, and have the latest equipment. Not only do my husband and I see Dr Hammon for our own personal dental care, but my parents as well. They were amazing with my grandmother who had some issues with a tooth. Dr. Hammon worked her right in and was sensitive to her fragile physical state and memory loss. We are very grateful for them and love the location on the west side of St George. Karen Anderson

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Hammons Dental. I moved to St. George a few years ago and dreaded the thought of having to find a new dentist. I got really lucky when a friend recommended I go to Hammons Dental on Sunset. I've been going there for 7 years now because I am very happy with the staff of top notch professionals who are not only extremely competent and friendly, but also go the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I really appreciate their sense of pride in their work and their attention to detail. I've had regular checkups, cleanings and even a new crown. Dr Hammons and his staff have ensured every one of my appointments has been a great experience for me with exceptional results.

Fantastic experience: My regular dentist wasn’t available today, so I was told to come to Hammons Dental, and I was so impressed with the service, the employees and the care that they showed. Lullaby was just the best!!

Fantastic experience: Great office staff who make you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Hammond is very good at being considerate and aware of his patients.

Negative experience: My first time going to this dentist. I came in early for paperwork and was the only one in the waiting room. I had been waiting for over 20 minutes when an elderly lady came in and was immediately called back. Not sure why I’ve been made to wait longer then someone who just came in for their appointment. But so far I’m less than pleased with the experience I’ve had. I don’t think I should have had to wait as long as I was forced to by the staff. They obviously had free time, because one of the techs came up from the back to talk with the front desk ladies about personal life things, but I had to sit and wait to be called back. I only came to this office because it was closer to my home, but I’d rather drive a ways out if it means that office is considerate of my time.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hammon and his staff! Could not be more pleased! Max Root, MD

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to Dr. Hammons for years. Always a great experience. The best hygienists, the best dentist!

Fantastic experience: Brooklyn is friendly and does an awesome job keeping my teeth clean. Dr. Matt is thorough and smart.

Fantastic experience: Very kind, courteous, and professional

Fantastic experience: Doctor worked hard to extract the tooth...appreciate his effort, determination and concern for me. Question...I paid a fee for a crown and I noticed the extraction fee is much less than the crown fee. Will the balance of the fee I paid for the crown be credited towards the bridge fee?

Fantastic experience: Really great service and nice people!
