Fantastic experience: We've been coming to this location for over 8 years. Dr. Dylan is really great, along with the team he has there. They are amazing with kids, they're really patient with them. Such a clean office, the tv's always have a cartoon on, and it is perfect environment for children.

Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Dylan. He’s great! We have had to do a ton of dental work on our kiddo and he has always taken great care of us. The entire staff has. Things haven’t always been easy with all the work needing to be done but we’re in good hands.

Fantastic experience: After a horrible experience with a different dentist my son was absolutely horrified when he was told we needed to go to the dentist. Dr. T Jay I has been amazing since we made the change. After multiple visits for regular cleanings and an appointment to take care of cavities, we had a cavity free visit. The office staff is also very helpful and professional.

Negative experience: no words for me to explain how rude we were treated. I’m not sure because if it’s the race, but they clearly told me not to come back and we were brand new patients to this kids dental we drove 45 minutes, hoping for a good experience! They treat Medicaid patients, definitely different, but this was not the case! I also have my last phone call with them recorded that was today July 29, 2025

Fantastic experience: Omg my kids loved their visit from the first consultation they have requested to ditch their original dentist and just come here, the ambiance is very nice, kids friendly and are able to provide one on one service to each of my kids at the same time! No long wait time! In and out within good time! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Will recommend this dental office to any and everyone! Dr Dylan did AWESOME with our two boys. He was super fun and patient. Our youngest had some work done under anesthesia and both Dr Dylan and Dr Wallen, the anesthesiologist, walked us through the entire process and even sent personal text messages before and after the procedure. The office staff made sure to update us when the treatment plan changed. It made us very comfortable and at ease. Our son did great during and after his dental procedure.

My two kids saw Dr.Dylan and he was great with them! One of my young kids has a really hard time seeing the dentist and Dr.Dylan did amazing with him. Fantastic experience: I have taken my littles here for years, and wouldn't think about taking them anywhere else! I absolutely love this pediatric dentistry! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the Drs. Are always happy and informative. My kids don't dread going to the dentist, if anything I know it sounds weird, but they're actually relaxed and comfortable. I also like how the staff holds my 11 year old son accountable for not flossing regularly and not brushing as thorough as he should and explains in a manner that's age appropriate, but also stern so that he doesn't mess up his adult teeth. Dr.TJ is sensational, honest, and can make even my awkward 16:year old feel comfortable and laugh with his awesome high fives! If you're looking for the best Pediatric Dentistry for your kid(s), this is the place! I highly recommend Jr. Smiles!

Fantastic experience: The staff is absolutely amazing and incredibly skilled with kids. My daughter, who has special needs, needed to have two teeth pulled, and they were outstanding with her. They not only made my daughter feel comfortable and reassured throughout the process, but they also provided the same support to me. I highly recommend this dental office!

Fantastic experience: My son and daughter have been patients the last five years and every time we’re treated kindly. We never have long wait times. Dr.Dylan and Dr. T Jay have always been great with the kids and parents. The front desk is always quick and efficient.

Negative experience: Took my 3yr old son in after a mouth injury. I called immediately after it happened. The lady on the phone was nice but when we showed up they seemed to be bothered by our presence? They gave me the option to pull his tooth the same day. The “dentist” said that it’s loose and that they could pull it today and didn’t even add onto that by explaining the procedure. They gave me the option of getting him on meds to keep from infection. I wasn’t sure what to do so being a mother I asked questions. I kept getting the run around about what the side effects of pulling a tooth this early and they couldn’t really tell me they just kept saying it’s your decision. I also was told my son didn’t have roots on his teeth and the damaged one most likely wouldn’t make it and we could schedule a surgery for the next day.They would explain a little then say it’s your decision though. But I kept asking questions and it would be the same answer. I also had concerns about cavities for the past year and they have been dismissed all times. I decided to get him on antibiotics and go look for a different opinion. I got TWO different referrals from TWO different places for my son after this experience, come to find out he did have cavities and he did have roots in his teeth. The tooth is stabilizing fine now and is getting his cavities filled. A friend was a dental assistant and said they probably left the cavities alone till they needed to be worked on surgically to make more money. Seeing from other reviews they’re incompetent and money hungry. Never had a problem before but discharged from here for sure.Do yourself a favor and save your money and time.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend a better pediatric dentist! It was both my kids first time there since we moved and they were so amazing with both of them. Super friendly environment and staff!

Negative experience: Never received a phone call or email asking to confirm. Got an email the day before the appointment, that went to my junk inbox, asking me to call ASAP. Called the next morning to find out that my kids appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm two days in advanced. We loved going here but won’t be back if they just cancel appointments without warning.

Positive experience: I love this location, highly recommend. Always make sure my child’s teeth are on point, really friendly staff, I’ve never had an issue

Fantastic experience: Best dentist we’ve been to! Everyone was friendly. We got to watch a movie while we waited and she got a prize at the end. No cavities so she got entered into a raffle, which was really cool of them. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I am really happy to recognize every single person that works here! The staff and dentists are amazing and great with kids. Everyone makes sure you and your child are comfortable, they are always with a smile, so kind and patience.

Negative experience: I have taken my kids here since birth and have never had issues before today. Also, before today my kids dentist was Dr.Tjay. Today my kids seen Dr. Dylan and they will not be back unless they see Dr. Tjay. Today one of the techs that did my son’s cleaning whom Dr.Dylan claimed is their lead did not use suction at all on my son to get water, spit, or tooth paste from his mouth until it was complained about and even tho my son asked multiple times. She went in the back and cried and told her employees my husband cussed at her which is a lie because I as well as others were there to hear. I don’t appreciate a place I’m supposed to take my children to get routine services from lying on my family, secluding and summoning us to a “back room” for a “consultation” to accuse us and try to kick us out even thought we were leaving. Dr.Dylan was also waving his hands walking close in my proximity making me feel very uncomfortable. My son is non verbal and I don’t like the way even tho I was sitting next to my son, when my son didn’t do what he wanted Dr. Dylan asked my husband can you get him ?? He also grabbed my son twice by the shoulders aggressively to move him up in the chair even though I moved him up already. Also if this was a lead is this professional? Because my son asked and we had to complain just for her to suction my sons mouth and we had to keep asking her to suction as she was arguing saying my son was okay and not all techs use suction or use it the whole time. I don’t appreciate the lies and excuses and public embarrassment. I will be reaching out to the Colorado Dental Board to make sure these claims are valid and possibly leave a complaint. Edit - definitely contacting the board to see what they can do about this situation and how drs grabbed my son in the chair and an assistant left fluid in the back of my sons mouth and became argumentative when asked for suction!

Fantastic experience: Its great place , friendly , real profesional , sound & clear what needs to get done also always with a great smile in all of them from the stuff until the dentist i would recommend this place 100% the only thing is that i wish they give electronic tooth brush & diplomas for caries free that would help to keep motivating the kiddos to keep it up with the good job ! Other than that excellent and really clean place how it suppose to be

Negative experience: The girl that was helping us did an amazing job, but the guy doctor that I had was rude and he got mad that my daughter didn’t allow him to put Fluoride on her teeth. He took off his gloves angry. I did not like how he handled the situation. I have been coming here for years and personally I think I’m going to change Dentists.

Fantastic experience: We've been coming here for several years for basic checkups but today we needed some extractions and the experience was great! Both the assistant and Dr put my daughter at ease and explained everything and the procedure was flawless. I will continue to recommend this dentists office to anyone looking for quality care.

Fantastic experience: I have taken my kids here twice now and both times were great. The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient. They took the time to show my son how the tools work and explained everything to him in a way he would understand. It made the procedure less scary. They were comforting and calm the whole time and reassured my son he was safe and doing a good job. The facility is also very clean and managed well. We were seen at our scheduled time and were done within a timely manner. Highly recommend coming here.

Negative experience: Total nightmare! Brought my son in for a procedure and wasn’t allowed to take my baby back to the treatment area. My options were leave my baby in waiting room or make my son go through his procedure alone. Very stressful and the front desk staff was less than accommodating. In the past they let my daughter go back so I was upset. Before leaving I made sure to let the front desk manager know the doctor was amazing but she should train the front desk ladies better. Make it clear this is a child's dentist office but you do not accommodate siblings. Had to pick a new dentist office and guess what? This place not only allows siblings in the back but has walls that open to accommodate the entire family’s needs. Maybe take some tips from kid city

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old daughter complained of a toothache off and on the last 3 days. Today, she called me from school in pain. I looked up a dentist on Google and found Jr. Smiles. They had good reviews. I called and not only did they fit is in right away and took AMAZING care of her! They have our business, that's for sure! Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter!

Fantastic experience: The staff was great! my only concern was the room was little bit dirty I could see some blood on the wall I am assuming from previos patients. Other than that it was great my daughter had 2 extractions with sedation they explain all details regarding the procedure and the post instructions.

They were so quick, professional and very comforting to both him and I (mom nerves) they turned what is normally an unpleasant experience into a fun one. I will recommend dr. Fantastic experience: Love this office! Every one there is so nice and caring. From receptionist to the Dr. My kids love coming to their appointments especially my toddler. Other places never had the patience with him and at Jr smiles they made him feel safe and comfortable. I still have other offices calling to come back to them but we are set with Jr smiles!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dylan is the best. He is always easy to talk to, great with kids, personable, and always brings positive energy to the room. My daughter got her very first tooth extracted by a dentist at Junior Smiles. As expected, she was very scared. Once the waiting was done for the anesthesia to kick in, it literally took 1 second to pull out the tooth. 1 second, I'm not even exaggerating. I was like, "That's it??", and my daughter laughed, probably realizing how silly it was that she was so scared for something that ended up feeling like nothing. Needless to say, I think her experience with him has left her with a good impression and perhaps she won't be scared to go to the dentist next time, even if it's for a tooth extraction. :) Highly recommended! Heck, I'll go see Dr. Dylan if they'd see 37-year-olds. Ha!

Fantastic experience: Best children's dentist we've ever been to since my first child was born 11 years ago! They staff is amazingly friendly, incouraging, caring, & informative. We also loved the fact we got to have all 3 of my kids appointments at the same time. All 3 dental assistants were awesome & the dentist was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this place! It was also very comforting to my kids to be able to watch TV on the ceiling while getting their teeth done while their chair was leaned back. I honestly can't say enough how much I loved this dentist office & staff!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Junior Smiles. Our 4 year old was fearful of the dentist after a less than great experience at another pediatric dentist. Junior Smiles staff put in so much effort to help turn that around and when he had to get put under for some work, they did a fantastic job of keeping anxiety low for all of us. Would 100% recommend and plan to keep them as our dentist for years to come.

Negative experience: I’ve been taking my kids here for over a year. I will say that the dentist is great and the waiting times go by quickly which I can appreciate. One of my kiddos is my step kid. The last time I was in there I wanted to add my stepdaughters mom onto the account. She’s on my insurance and has been since forever. I was then asked if I had proof that I can take her to get her care.. after a year of already giving her care at this location. I’ve never had this issue ANYWHERE. Insurances have you give proof you are the child’s guardian to put them on there. If the receptionist was trained correctly, maybe she would know this. Luckily I had my marriage certificate buried in my phone, which I feel like I shouldn’t have to provide since I did all that though insurance long ago. My stepdaughter has always been in my life and it’s just embarrassing to ask for “proof to get her care” she is IN MY CARE. I let my husband know and he was shocked. She’s 8 and after all these years this was the first time this had happened. Again.. after I’ve already been taking her here for over a year. I will definitely find a new dentist with receptionist that are respectful, understand how insurances works and won’t ask a parent for proof to care for her own child.

Positive experience: My kids have been patients at this dental office for years now and we are overall happy with the staff and care provided. The only concern I can express is that it feels like my poor son is always getting "in trouble" for something, lol. At the visit today, I think Dr. TJ thought my son was interrupting our conversation, but he was only making a comment regarding braces for my daughter. I did not think it was necessary for my son's comment to me dismissed. Not a big deal, but hopefully this does not happen anymore :).

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The staff is always super nice and understanding and patient. I have three toddlers that I take at the same time and they are very understanding when I have to go back and forth between all three of my kids. Dr. Dylan is super nice and encouraging as well whenever I have questions. He is very friendly with the kids! Setting up appointments is very easy, I can always get ahold of them and even with rescheduling it is super easy. I’m just glad that I found them because I was very nervous about dentist offices for my kids. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a kids dentist!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is nice and efficient. We get in and out. It is also very clean and both the dentist that we have seen are so nice and gentle with both my boys when we go in. The front desk girls are nice but I feel they can smile more and act a little friendlier considering they are the first face you see when walking in. The girl that helped today was awesome I’m speaking from past experiences.

Positive experience: Most of the staff is friendly and makes my kids comfortable. Dr. Dylan always does great with them. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I don’t enjoy when they have me wait with siblings in the waiting area instead of staying with all of my children through it all.

Fantastic experience: JR Smiles is amazing starting from the time that you will walk through the door. They get you with smiles, keep you updated with how your child is doing if they are in surgery and answer any and all questions that you will have. I've been talking my now 13 year old there since she was 4 and will continue to take my 3 kids there. Definitely recommend them.

Negative experience: Most horrible experience I have ever had with a dentist. I expressed multiple times to every person I came into contact with regarding my son’s anesthesia, that I did NOT want to be present during the process of them putting him under because I was having anxiety about it the entire morning and evening before literally to the point I was shaking! Just to have everyone of them flat out ignore me and force me to sit in the room while I watched my 4 year old convulse and them explain that it was “normal”! I was traumatized even more and then they proceeded to sit me in the lobby for 18 min total! For them to put caps on 7 teeth and pull one out!!! Which I did not feel was enough time to do that much dental work with care! He woke up terrified and crying saying he hates the dentist and they hurt him! They put us in a back room with bright lights on us and threw a box of Kleenex my way when they realized I was crying uncontrollably. They checked on us maybe 3 times and every time it felt as though we were holding them up or something. Like we were a bother to still be there…I had to carry my son home all the way because he could not walk which I think is due to too much anesthesia I could smell it on his breath for days and he snores really loud since that day. I would NOT RECOMMEND them they are insensitive, inconsiderate, rude, judgmental and disrespectful to my wishes as a mother and a human being.

Negative experience: Called for a dental emergency for my toddler but due to a previous 4 star review I made the office manager said they were not able to help her because of my review. My review was based on the front office and not the dentist himself. They will push and push for you to give them a 5 star review but if you do not provide a perfect 5 stars they will not continue to see you. This is absolutely horrible

Negative experience: My kids had been attending Junior Smiles for over ten years. Recently my kids have needed some extractions and this is where I have noticed the care and attention of the procedure(s) to my kids haven’t been what I expected. Some of the extractions were done by Dr. TJ and two assistants, my kids gum was not good fully numb before starting the injection anesthesia. It was apparent when my kids stating they were hurting during the time though the way the assistant(s) and Dr. TJ responded was in a way it wasn’t a big deal and made my kids and I feel their feelings weren’t true. I also recently asked for a copy of insurance policies which then we received a letter in the mail stating we were no longer patients in their office. It’s unfortunate the office made this decision on a family who has been attending their office for many years and who has seen procedure concern’s but haven’t decided to stay quite despite our kids concerns. Dr. TJ is a great at cleaning and preventative care but when it comes to procedure he is not. He lacks to communicate and understand the patient’s feelings during procedures.

Negative experience: I was loving this place amazing staff and docs don’t get me wrong! My daughter had her crowns procedure done her and they did an amazing job! Next it was my son we got his schedule but couple months far out! Which they TOLD ME “call us if your son is in any discomfort or pain so we can get him in sooner” I did exactly what they told me to do surprisingly there was nothing available after seeing him in so much pain, no sleep, crying and screaming for 5 days straight out of frustration I had to take him somewhere else they took my son into a same day emergency procedure. Unfortunately I will not be bringing my kids to this facility anymore. That prescription you guys sent over was to avoid any infection not any pain, of course it didn’t work out for him.

Fantastic experience: They were so nice! My daughter was very anxious and they were so soft and supportive. She said she isn’t scared to go back. The doctor is very understanding and actually wants to help her teeth.

Fantastic experience: This dentistry has given my children the upmost care possible! I’m not the type to write reviews, but this place definitely deserves the good review. My child had to undergo a procedure and it went very good. Would recommend 10/10 for your children and their dental care!

Fantastic experience: I have driven for the past 8 years from Lakewood to Thornton for mi kids dental cleaning and check ups with Dr. Tjay. (It's definitely worth the drive). The Dr. always welcomes us with a big smile, I like their friendly & professional staff and my kids enjoy the nice calm atmosphere the office brings. I highly recommend this office and thank Dr Tjay for caring for my kids teeth all these years!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely hands down the best place to go for your kids dental needs the staff are amazing,they truly care about the children and making.sure the environment is suitable for them and comfortable. My son is autistic and used to hate the dentist was always scared but after coming here it's not a chore anymore he enjoys his check ups!!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, quick and efficient patient care for my 2 year old twin daughters. It was their first visit and immediate reaction wasnt complete terror. The whole experience was very pleasant and of course they got to choose from a wall of toys at the end. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: OMG I finally found a place that might not terrify my special needs daughter. Such a wonderful experience. So thankful they got us in yesterday & due to cancellation today was able to get her sedated & treat her. They had us in a nice quiet consult room for about 30 minutes, she got to enjoy watching her favorite show mickey mouse. Then when it was GO TIME they kept her in her wheelchair & wheeled her into the treatment room backwards, the anesthesiologist was right behind her & quickly put the gas mask on & within 1 minute she was asleep. I looked at the dentist & said wow I might actually have found a place to bring her where she isn't completely terrified. So thankful I found this wonderful dental team :) can't wait for this tooth pain to be over with & for my daughter to get back to her happy, playful self

Fantastic experience: Took my 1 year old daughter here today for her first appointment ever and everything went great. Everyone was nice and very informative. The atmosphere was great and I felt very comfortable from the very start. Will be bringing my little one here for all her dental work.

Fantastic experience: T Jay is so awesome! My boys have been going here since they were babies! He has been there doctor since and he is so patient and makes sure you are ok with whatever they are needing to do and make sure you don't have any questions! All staff is great as well! Very well team ☺️

Fantastic experience: Always great! We’ve been going here for the past couple years for my daughter. The dentist Dylan and assistants are all really great, kind, and gentle with the kiddos. She’s been afraid of dentists from an experience in the past and this place has made a world of a difference.

Fantastic experience: My children have been going to Dr. TJay since they were 2 years old. He’s always been kind and great with them. They literally look forward to going to the dentist, “Mom the dentist’s fun!” Thank you for always being wonderful with my kids!! Karry

Negative experience: I usually don’t take the time to express bad experiences, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at any place. Came in this morning with my daughter and wasn’t greeted by anyone. Tanya the front rep, really needs to learn what customer experience is. I checked in and went with dental assistant to take care of the dental part, let me tell you she was wonderful, friendly, smiled and made me and my daughter feel welcomed and comfortable. Even a doctor this morning followed up on our experience with dental assistant. She WAS WONDERFUL. Than we went back to the front and I asked for a copy of my bill that it is paid in full and standard practice of every place I have been at in dental industry they usually have both parties sign and they save a copy, that way it is recorded that we are in agreement for treatment and payment plan. At the end of the agreement and payment plan, patient always get a copy that the bill is fully paid and the balance is ZERO. Tayna said they don’t do that and it never done, which she load because my wife has a signed copy of the treatment plan and payment plan signed by both her and another team member. Tanya said this dental office doesn’t do that and was again super rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and to be blunt terrible with her rude attitude. I was done with Tanya’s Attitude and I asked for the manager and after 25 minutes of waiting I asked Tayna to ask for the manager one more time and she came back and told me “that Anne is to busy and she cannot come right now, but if I want I can wait” I asked how much longer would it take and Tayna said “ I dont know because she is to busy talking with another employee”. This shows me that the manager Anne doesn’t care of my need as a customer to stop what she is doing and come talk to me, she seemed more worried about her conversation with the employee. I have been a manager for over 8 years and I always and very reasonable and I know how important customers are and that they are the reason we have our light on and food on our tables. Anne seem to forgot that part and didn’t even come out to say I will follow up with you myself regarding my question, SHE SIMPLY IGNORED ME AS A CUSTOMER. I have three children and we will not step a foot into this kids dental office at all because of front end employees don’t know how to be respectful, responsible, reasonable, kind, and patient. Very unfortunate because the dental assistant and doctor in the back office team are just super kind and friendly. Tanya and Anne if you read this I truly hope you both help next parents with a little bit of more respect. Have a blessed day!

My 7year old had her first dental work done today with out being asleep and the staff were so professional and really good at keeping "ME" calm as well as my baby! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST FOR ALL YOUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN'S NEEDS! NOT ONLY

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my son here since he was 18 months and he will now be 3 in December. The dental assistants are always so patient and kind with him and Dr. Dylan is so great and quick with my really nervous, shy kiddo. I am so happy with my choice to take my boy here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful practice, friendly helpful and knowledgeable team, phenomenal doctors. My daughter had dental surgery and they gave her the best care before, during, and after her procedure. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I picked this place because of the glowing reviews- I never got past the reception. Even though I left with extra time prior to our appt I hit rush hour and traffic accidents on my way there. I arrived 2 min late to my children’s appointments and was refused service due to the fact I didn’t arrive EARLY to fill out the paperwork. When I explained I was only 2 min late I was proceeded to be told I was actually 12 min late because they count the paperwork time. In all prior messages pertaining to my appointment is was REQUESTED to come early for the paperwork (evidently it can not be done during the appointment like any other clinic?). The manager behind reception would not even hear me out- she was rude from the beginning and told me I needed to follow “the rules” making me feel as if I was trying to break them for being late. I will not reschedule at this place- I drove 30 min with three young children and an infant to unsympathetically be turned away. I’m extremely let down as I was truly excited to have found what I hoped would be a reputable kids dental office. It’s disappointing to feel they only value their own time and not that of their potential clients.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit to Junior Smiles went wonderfully! They went at my child’s pace, and were very patient and kind with him. When it came time for X-rays, I was asked if we wanted to build some trust first, and hold off until next time. Ultimately, my kiddo decided to be brave and we did the X-rays, but I sure appreciated having that option! Everyone treated us with respect and we left on a positive note. I am looking forward to our next visit.
