Fantastic experience: Professional staff, always on time, and always a wonderful experience overall!

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had to cancel my appointment twice at this clinic due to not being able to leave the house because of my newborn and suddenly they dropped a $100 bill on me for not showing up even though I did let them know that I wasn’t able to make it and told them why but they kept sending me the statement and it really is unfortunate that due to this they lost my business, and I went to another dentist. They also didn’t warn me about anything, and I expressed that it was hard for me because of my newborn, but absolutely zero compassion from them. I will say that Lili in the front desk is very nice, hopefully they make it right and apologize.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my orthodontic treatment with braces with Dr. Janise Morales at 1500 Dental Clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Morales is truly the best; professional, caring, and extremely skilled. The entire staff was always very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout my treatment. I am absolutely happy with the results of my smile. My teeth look amazing, and all my friends and family keep telling me that it was a perfect job. I highly recommend Dr. Janise Morales to anyone looking for excellent dental care and beautiful results.

Negative experience: If you have dental insurance, move on. The dentists are great but the administration is just awful. They prefer cash over insurance and they do an EXTREMELY poor job filing insurance claims. Some clown in their office submitted my insurance claim four times and its still not settled....I think the ADA needs to know.

Fantastic experience: I went in as a new patient to have a chipped tooth fixed. Dr Martinez took such good care of me. He not only fixed the tooth I came in for, but also one above which had a corner chip. The whole process was very quick and I am shocked with the results. It's like a miracle. I would not hesitate to go back to this office in Fort Lauderdale.

They are very transparent about pricing as well as walking you through all of the recommended treatments/procedures for cleanings. I voiced that I had sensitive teeth and gums and my hygienist ensured I received numbing gel and sent me home with some good tips. Great team and friendly experience.

The doctor and all the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. they made me feel extremely comfortable, the office was immaculate and state of the art equipment. Negative experience: Last time in the office I asked to only be scheduled on the calendar when my insurance was available for the cleaning. Said it again today when I got there and before the hygienist even started and she went to check. Came back and said it looked fine. Then the lady at the front after said on it looks like your insurance would pay for it next month in October. She then left the desk went and checked with someone in the back came back and said don’t worry it will be taken care of. Then also I had 2 small fillings put in when the DR saw my in the chair and said he could do it now. So I after cleaning I figured since he was available and then sitting in the room for over 30 min I had to walk out of the chair and ask if the doctor was available… I knew he was since I heard it from himself. And the lady was talking on her cell phone. So she stopped and checked and then finally out of checking he came in and promptly did his job. But then at paying I was charged for the cleaning since insurance won’t take care of it. Overall the work they do is great. But be warned if you appointment is at 12 you won’t be called back till after 12:15 and the wait times for an empty office are unbearable and maybe if I choose to go back I would audio record the front desk staff because one said it will be taken care of then the other is sorry you have to pay for it.

Fantastic experience: I have been with these people for years years… Dr. Forest not only is My Dentist, but a friend and my hygiene dental person is Monique who I have been with for years also… Both these people have been I havemy only Dentist in hygiene person for almost a decade I can’t even imagine thinking going elsewhere. They’ve never let me down. I have beautiful teeth Sure to keep my schedule for cleanings and etc. on time… Love them I never recommend them. I can’t imagine not going there.

Negative experience: Poor customer experiences. I’ve been a patience here for years. I’ve had braces done, implant, dental cleaning etc so I’m sure what I have to say matters. No one in the front end communicates to one another. Every time you looking for information or clarification it’s always so and so was handling that and they are no longer here, or out of office, or doing something else. You have to wait rough 20 minutes or so before getting done what you need done. When it comes to the agreement prices that the insurance has and what they are charging; their price is always higher or not updated so be sure to check your out of pocket cost with your insurance first. Now they charging a surcharge for FSH and HSA cardholders. This office and very unorganized and don’t get me started on predetermination process. They never send it or if they do it like they claim they never got it back so you have to reach out to your provider and just have them fax or email it to them! I mean I leave with heighten anxiety every time I visit. Which is why after my treatment is completed I will be leaving this office. I’ve already found another office, well my previous dentist before switching here. I regret the switch but it was convenient to my house but after all of what I go through here!!! I’m going back and willing to take the drive. I absolutely have not had one good experience at this office if I have to be honest. I would tell anyone to proceed with caution and always check with your insurance first regarding your out of pocket expenses because they always have it wrong!

Fantastic experience: This was my very first visit, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Monique and Alex were especially amazing they took their time to break everything down in a way I could understand and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Fantastic experience: I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown… problem was, I only had 2 days as we needed to head north and pick up our motorhome an hour away by 11am. My appointment was at 9 am. Armani and Dr Orta were amazing on getting me through all this on time. Armani is so attentive to everything. Thank you both so much.

Negative experience: Beware! I paid them in full, then they submitted a claim to my insurance. They owe me the difference and after a 20 minute phone conversation and an in person visit I am getting the run around where no person is responsible or is authorized to process it. Totally unprofessional. Dr Martinez is awesome but his support staff are not helpful at all. I have more dental work to be done but will need to find another dentist after losing trust in this one.

Fantastic experience: I was having severe throbbing toothache on a molar with a root canal that I never covered up properly (crown). Was very lucky to get an appointment for today. I have to say, you can’t take the negative reviews too seriously, some people are pains in the rear. I walked in and from the very beginning the front desk staff was incredibly amiable and attentive, intake was seamless. Alex who handles financing was very thorough in explaining my options. Qualified bunch for sure. Dr. Martinez is a gem, he extracted my tooth and was very patient and understanding about my discomfort during the procedure. Jay was equally incredible and caring. And last but certainly not least, Monique was so sweet and flexible given the pain I was in. Found my new Dentist :) see you in a week! 10/10.

I later found 1500Dental and my first encounter was with Jessica and she was so helpful, kind and respectful. I then met Dr. Forrest the periodintist and Dr. Martinez who is a cosmetic dentist who is an absolutely amazing and talented dentist. I haven't smiled in years and ended up with an absolute beautiful smile now, which I can't stop smiling. The office is very clean and the front office personnel are extremely nice, especially Rosita, which has taken care of me each time I call. The seriousness and professionalism of these two dentist are beyond what a normal dentist would do. I just want everyone who needs dentures to think of choosing this place first!!!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being treated by Yamisel (hands of an angel!), Dr. Martinez (so kind, so very knowledgeable, and patient); and Monique (sweetest, kindest and the most gentle hygienist). Negative experience: If I could do negative stars I would. They failed to verify my insurance. They gave me a long story about my insurance is complicated. It’s full time military government funded insurance. When I called my insurance they said they have received 0 claims from this company after my visit. But they want to send me a $500 bill to look at my mouth. The administrations incompetence on insurance, billing and customer service is beyond me. I went to a dentist the following day that got EVERYTHING approved with my insurance the day of my visit. This place should be ashamed of trying to take advantage and at the same time FAIL to do their job. STAY AWAY!!!!! They refuse to take my calls or assist.

Fantastic experience: All around the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. All on staff are super friendly and professional. I very much appreciate both Monique and Tatiana’s light touch and efficient, skillful approach to cleanings. They are both very patient and knowledgeable with assessment and explanation of potential treatment. Dr. Martinez did an onlay for me a year ago and he and Jae were very kind and considerate, worked with me around my anxiety of needles and answered all my questions with thoughtful explanations. I very much appreciate Dr Martinez’ conservative approach to treatment and feel that the entire staff really cares about patients as people . I HIGHLY recommend this practice and will note that I currently reside a three hour plan ride from Ft Lauderdale and will fly down for my appointments.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at 1500 Dental in Fort Lauderdale. They completely lack professionalism and respect for patients’ time. I called with a dental emergency, explained I was in serious pain, and they told me they could see me right away. I showed up 15 minutes early—and still waited over 1.5 hours to be seen. Same-day treatments are promised but never delivered. Their staff is disorganized, and appointments often get messed up. Every doctor there seems to work part-time and on random days, so there’s no consistency. They are never punctual, and following up is a joke—they never call you back. The male staff members are not gentle, and overall, the service does not match the high prices they charge. Save your time and money—this place is all talk and no care. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Negative experience: My wife and I went in for a cleaning only and they insisted on doing scans and services that they said were complementary even though I continuously said that all that all that I wanted was a cleaning and said that my primary dentist was in NC. We just got a bill for $113 each and never got our teeth cleaned. This service was fraudulently misrepresented

Fantastic experience: Dr. Veloz has been my dentist for over a decade and I couldn't be more happy with her work. She is extremely intelligent, quick, and precise. I am deathly afraid of dentist appointments to the point where I have a panic attack and cry every single time. However, her friendly personality helps me feel safe. The only negative would be that she does not offer anesthesia for liability reasons, which is unfortunate but understandable.

Fantastic experience: The staff in the front and back was all super nice to me. The girls at the front desk was very nice and answered all my questions. I just had a teeth cleaning but the DR came in to look over things and he was super nice. I will certainly keep going to this place for any future needs.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, truly. My first visit, I was given a tour of the impressive, modern, impeccably clean office and introduced to a dozen friendly staff. There's a lab on premises and digital, instantaneously delivered ex rays. The dental hygienist was the best I've ever experienced, so smooth and painless. Also so interesting and passionate about her job, a consequence of childhood dental issues. The dentist was professional and personable, as was the office manager. He explained my options with prices, in writing. He also as explained their insurance, with which gave me at least a thirty percent discount for $193 annually, effective immediately. I'm so happy to finally find a good dentist in Florida. I hardly ever give reviews, but 1500 Dental is exceptional.

Positive experience: Everyone was very nice and I had a good experience here. I did Invisalign with Dr Morales who is super sweet. A lot of the team speaks Spanish and I do not, so occasionally there was some language barrier, but it was never so significant that we could not communicate. Primary reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I had more than one billing error. The team helped fix them, but not quickly, only when I bugged them about it with multiple calls - the billing errors caused me stress and damaged my trust in the business.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit yesterday with Dr. Velaz who’s one of the dentists on staff and Monique one of their hygienists. Both experiences were exceptional. They both did a very thorough job which was totally unexpected. I will definitely be returning to this office. The staff at the front desk especially Nicole was so helpful and accommodating. The entire office staff was pleasant and friendly. Don’t hesitate to try this dental office. They also run specials for first time visits!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to 1500 Dental for the past 10+ years to get my yearly check-up and cleanings done, and they are without a doubt the best boutique dental practice I have been in my 20+ years living in the Fort Lauderdale area. They run the place really well, the staff is friendly and the cleanings I get with Tati are amazing. Dr. Martinez did a great job with a little issue I had recently, and Dr. Morales, together with Roberto Carlos and the rest of the team did a great job on my new braces. Fantastic experience: I have been with Dr. Forrest for a very long time as he did my full mouth reconstruction; I followed him to this office and it was the best decision I made. I have a lot of anxiety surrounding dentist visits but everyone in this office makes you feel very welcome and calm. A special shout out to my hygienist Tatiana; she has been an angel since day 1 dealing with me and irrational fears. I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months and Tatiana is always there to make the process flow with ease, all while making sure I'm 100% comfortable the entire time. I couldn't recommend this office anymore!

Fantastic experience: Emergency, emergency Saturday morning my tooth broke off at the gum line. Frantic I happened on 1500 Dental and walked in panicking and they accommodated me immediately! This is when I met Dr Veloz. She eased my mind while coming up with a great dental plan. She is the most gentle dentist I ever had. She set things in motion and fitted me for a temporary tooth, which was there in days! I could go on about the terrific, friendly and upbeat staff. How clean and updated the office was. Appointments are prompt and no waiting. They are all about quality and serving the patient. The icing on the cake is their leader Dr Forest who will be doing my dental implant. He took his time explaining the procedure, the cost and different plans that were available. I can't say enough about the positive experience I had at Dental 1500. Try them you won't be disappointed. Fantastic experience: Great office! Easy to locate and lots of parking. The staff is very friendly and kind. They are upfront about all costs before anything is done and very accommodating. I did wait awhile, but I do believe the care they show and attention to detail to the patients is why I waited. Tatiana and Alex are amazing! Can’t wait to see her again for my teeth cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I have a fabulous team, Dr. Forrest, Dr. Martinez and an excellent hygienist Tatiana. Caring, professional, and they do fantastic work. The entire office is a treat. What else could I ask for?

Fantastic experience: I didn't think I would be the kind of person to take a moment to review my dentist, but my experience with this place has been so good from start to finish. I often feel like I am being sold something I do not need or upsold on unnecessary services by dentists in the past, but everyone was so knowledgable and explained what they were doing and why to the point that it made me more at ease than any other dentist I have been to. Monique did a deep cleaning that I was overdue for and her demeanor, care, and helpfulness was a big part of why I am taking the time to write this review in the first place. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My experience at 1500 dental was (and continues to be) excellent. Their staff is frieny and professional. Even though I am 3 1/2 hours away I continue to I see Dr Forrest. Everyone is very accommodating about my schedule and working out the best time with and for me. Thank you !!!

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased that Monique is knowledgeable about people who have had head/neck cancer treatments and how it effects the teeth and gums. She calmed my concerns and explained clearly the course of action we are taking with my oral care. I highly recommend 1500 Dental.

Fantastic experience: I’ll start by saying I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST!! Until I found this place! Absolutely AmAzInG place. They have every Dentist you would ever need in a lifetime all under 1 roof. No need to go to several dentists all over the place, when you can go to 1500. My orthodontist Dr Morales is the best. She corrected my teeth so well that even I dont recognize them. Both her and her team, Roberto, Jae, always upbeat and positive and made me very comfortable. I then had implant surgery with Dr Forrest. Again, another amazing dentist along with his team, Yani and Tanya (yani is hilarious). I was very nervous to have implants but its been over 3 weeks, and I never needed any pain medication after the procedure at all. So now I have straight teeth and implants on the way, I still wasn’t 100% happy with the appearance of my smile so I then saw Dr Martinez. WOW!! Dr Martinez and his very patient assistant Shirley guided me through the process and achieved the end result I was looking for. These Dr’s (Dr Morales, Dr Forrest, Dr Martinez) are the most skilled and professional dentists I have ever come across. They are so patient with your, go above and beyond to answer questions about procedures etc. So glad I found them. I was then fully trained again as an adult on how to effectively brush my teeth the correct way by my super hygenist Monique. Bottom line is, as a person who would avoid the dentist for obvious reasons, now I can’t wait for my next cleaning or check up !! When you call you may be lucky enough to speak with the reception appointment team of either Heather, Alex or Nicole, who are all so friendly and welcoming. Any questions about billing or coverage both Alex and Heather are always there to clarify everything for you. I can only say a big “THANKS” to the whole team at 1500, and for those of you looking for a GOOD, Dentist and you make your decision off of reviews, I hope this helps! AmAzInG TeAm @ 1500!!!!!

Negative experience: Dr Forrest, Dr Raffa, Jaye and Monique are amazing! However, the office staff not so much. One would think after all the tens of thousands I have spent at 1500 dental reconstructing my mouth, I would think they could accommodate my request to use my dental insurance to pay for my dental cleanings every 6 months. My insurance covers this 2 times per year but yet the office staff continues to tell me it's not covered, nor do they even attempt a claim with the information I provided to them. I even called my insurer myself to learn no claims were even attempted. I ended up paying the full amount on my CC, which was no bargain. Then when I call I get the run around that someone will call me back, they never do! When I call they leave me on hold forever! Although, my personal dentists and hygienist are fantastic-the office staff could use some help.

Fantastic experience: Tatiana gives one of the best oral cleanings I’ve ever had. She’s very thorough! She’s also very personable and gives great advice for continued treatment and at home cleaning. Love going to 1500 Dental!
