Fantastic experience: Super grateful to Dr Dan and his staff (Ali was wonderful) for supporting our daughter through 3 fillings. They did an amazing job keeping calm and patient, and supporting her through some of her big fear. We’ve had dentists in the past stop working when the tears came out, and I really appreciate that we were able to get through these, so they can finally start healing! I highly recommend this dentistry, especially if you have nervous kiddos.

Fantastic experience: The best place to go my children have had doctor lindsey as their primary for a longtime now and she is very thoughtful and thorough in her findings. She always has a good plan and executes it to the highest caliber.

Fantastic experience: We took our kids here for their first dentist appointments and I am so happy I found this office. The technicians were AMAZING with our kids and made the teeth cleaning/exam so easy and fun, our kids had no nerves throughout the exam - they were so happy leaving their office. The dentist was amazing and explained things very well and had great recommendations and tips for us.

Negative experience: Called 5 times, never answered the phone

Fantastic experience: Met with Dr. Dan specifically for my son’s cavity because he’s a very nervous kid. He was crying at first and both the doctor and nurse were very gentle with him and reiterated that they were just going to look during this visit and conversed with him about other topics to take his mind off his nerves. We scheduled our appointment to get his cavity filled and will update the review after!

Fantastic experience: I have a little one who is very anxious about dental care. Dr. Bedeaux has been so patient and willing to meet my kiddo where she was at for her treatments. Dr. Bedeaux was in it with us and I am so grateful for her! The rest of the team has also been fantastic too. They really understand kids.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this office. My son is on the spectrum and Candace took the time to walk him through everything she was doing and all the instruments she was using. Dr. Morgan was great as well. We haven’t been able to get my son to participate at a dentist since he was very young , before autism and these ladies were able to successfully clean his teeth, do a complete work up and check. I am so proud of him and this clinic will be our new children’s clinic.

Positive experience: The staff have always been kind, patient and helpful. I love the activities they always have in the lobby. My daughter needs a little extra support at the dentist and they have always taken such great care with her. I ask a lot of questions and they have never seemed annoyed/bothered to answer them. Even if we moved further away we would make the drive to stick with them. I started taking my daughter here about 8/9 years ago and my son just had his first appointment at 16 months old. I can't give five stars because they stopped accepting medical assistance, making them inaccessible to a group of children they previously provided service for. We are fortunate enough to have private health insurance so that change did NOT affect my children's care. It is disheartening that those who had MA had to find a different clinic when so many already didn't accept state insurance programs. There are many reasons people have medical assistance, be it for financial reasons or a disability, everyone should be able to access dental care in a timely manner and with quality providers.

Fantastic experience: They make my kids feel comfortable and safe. I don't feel like they are trying to rip me off and are extremely friendly.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I took our 3.5 year and 1 year old to Dentistry for Children for their first dentist appointment and we were blown away. The waiting room was tidy and had fun/educational games and toys to keep both kids busy. All of the hygienists we interacted with were beyond amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment and I highly recommend it for any and all kids!

Fantastic experience: We decided to give Dentistry for Children and Adolescents a try after we hadn’t been overly impressed with our past pediatric dentist. We are so glad we made the change. My son had a wonderful first appointment and for once didn’t cry and get upset during his appointment. The staff was wonderful!

Positive experience: My children have been going here for 12 years, the hygienists have always been great. Our benefits always covered the preventative cleaning at 100%. The last 2 visits I have been charged MN taxes due to the way they code. I have disputed and questioned the $11 charge and they refuse to remove. They have now sent a letter advising they will send the charge to collections if I do not pay. It is not about the money but the principle. Very disappointing

Positive experience: I used to go here when I was little my last visit was about 2015.

Fantastic experience: My son has special needs, and the dental assistant and dentist were amazing in trying to make him comfortable. They spent extra time with him and let him explore the tools, it was a very good experience. My only disappointment is that they no longer take TEFRA or MA insurance, which will exclude many families with special needs children from this great service.

Fantastic experience: This place does SO well with children! It was my sons first time and Jasmine did amazing with being patient and showing him the tools; she was able to brush and 'count' his teeth super easily! My daughter used to be SO afraid of dental procedures but Dr. Lindsay Bedeaux has such an awesome way with the kids, Kaylee has gotten very good at being brave and strong!

Fantastic experience: We have been using them for years for 3 of my kids. Kevin started his dental journey refusing to open his mouth, the first exam was a long process and ultimately earned him a trip to the OR for sedated dental work. Now he walks in and participates in his exam. Izzy was in love with them from her first visit, even with a cavity or two. The angsty teenager, Dani, has no complaints, but they've done well with her over the years. They meet you and your children at their level. The nice thing for us, they see how the kids are different and they work with that.

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could. My autistic 5 year old had the greatest experience here. She left smiling and happy with her teeth cleaned, flossed, and sealed. We saw two dentists before this they couldn't even get her to open her mouth.

He’s been refusing to go (5yrs old, cry’s and screams he doesn’t want to and he never does this). We had his first appointment today at Dentistry for Children and he loved it. Fantastic experience: My kids have been coming here since they were 1, and we’ve had really great experiences the last several years. They are EXCITED to go to the dentist, and my daughter even recently claimed the X-ray pictures as her favorite part of the visit. This is not at all the childhood dental experience I personally had years ago: scary, shaming, uncomfortable. I’m so happy my kids can start off their dental health journey differently in such a positive way :)

Fantastic experience: Finding a children's dentist is much more difficult than I could have imagined. After a terrible experience with a dentist I went on the prowl to find a dentist that would be good to my child's mouth. I am ever so thankful I found Dentistry for Children and Adolescents. Everyone in there from the receptionists to the dentists themselves greet you AND your child, they explain every procedure and EVERY tool, they make you feel comfortable (as comfortable as you can be in a dental office) and all the while they are smiling. You can tell everyone there truly loves their job and I am forever grateful to them for turning the dental experience around for my child. I highly recommend this office and even their Edina office if you're in the market for a dental office for your kid(s).

Fantastic experience: Brought kiddo for his first ever visit. I was worried- but for no reason. Staff was great and my son left the office saying he loved the dentist Great job to all here!

Fantastic experience: I have 4 kids and they have been coming here since they were each 2 years old. The youngest of the 4 is 17 and the oldest is 24. The 3 older kids can no longer come here but they still ask if they can! The Dentists are always very good with the kids and amazingly kind and patient. The Dental Assistants are gentle and converse with the kids and explain what they are doing. There is a real team atmosphere between the Dentist, the Assistants, the child and the parent. This positive experience creates a healthy relationship and encourages my kids to continue to do 6 month checkups with their Adult Dentist. So happy we became part of this team back in 1999. Thank you to Dentistry for Children and Adolescents for such ongoing positive experiences!

Negative experience: Doesn't accept new patients that have "acute" dental issues. So, I guess they only want you if you only need a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I brought my four and six year old girls. My six year old was very nervous and timid. They made her her feel very comfortable and both of them enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My kids (ages 3 and 5) see Dr. Lindsay at the Burnsville office and have had a great experience. All of the staff are so welcome and friendly- my kids actually LIKE going to the dentist! It's a great environment- totally recommend!

Fantastic experience: Visited Burnsville location - Saw Dr. Dan and Hygienist Shanon with my 2 year old. Very informative, helpful, kind and non judgmental! The entire team was great. My child had a wonderful experience and I left very informed of my child’s treatment choices and educated in children’s oral hygiene. I would highly recommend this office! You can see that they take their time with care and value their patients! Overall great place, would definitely recommend. Plus the kids toys are pretty cool according to my 2 year old!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here for the first time and Nicole was helping us. Despite my daughter running around and not being able to pay attention Nicole was very patient with us and explained everything that we were going to do. She made us feel so comfortable. Dr. Dan was kind and nice as well. If I could give this place 11/10 I would. I totally recommend it

Fantastic experience: I love this place , they have always understood my child and done what ever needed to make him more comfortable . He happens to be on the spectrum or Ausum as I like to call it . He will be eighteen next month I thought I would have to look for a new dentist which makes me extremely sad , however they will see him until he's nineteen . When I found that out I was so so happy !!!!

Fantastic experience: This was my 3 year old's first real cleaning. The hygienist did great in explaining to my daughter what was going to happen first and let my daughter touch all of the tools so she was comfortable having them in her mouth. They made it a fun experience.

The dental hygienists were so kind and Dr. Lindsay was so knowledgeable and kid friendly. They gave us peace of mind, as well as making our children very comfortable with getting their teeth cleaned. High recommend for kids!

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old daughter had a fall over the weekend that impacted her teeth. After waiting on insurance, another dentists referral and finally getting in with an oral surgeon they scheduled us for over a week out even though my daughter was struggling drinking, eating and sleeping. We had her at our pediatrician pleading for help and they sent us here right away. The staff was courteous, friendly and straight to the point. After feeling like no one would help us with immediate care, Dentistry for Children was expecting us. They met us at the door, were ready for x-rays and had to perform a tooth extraction. Although it was a tough experience, they got my daughter the help she needed. The Doctor and Hygienists were fast, efficient in their diagnosis (more hopeful than the oral surgeon) the work performed and excellent communicators. A couple hours after the procedure she is finally eating, drinking and snug in bed but she has a new smile well have to live with! We are so so thankful for their quick response to our needs! They now have a new family to add to their list and I know that we can count on them for care and would refer anyone with kids to go here! Thank you Dr. Lindsay!

Fantastic experience: My 6yr old is autistic and delayed, so mentally he's more around 3yrs old. He won't even allow anyone to look in his mouth much less put anything in it so cleanings are out of the question. The dentist was great with him, he really had to work to see those teeth but didn't get mad or frustrated with my son. The rest of the staff was great too, no one made me feel embarrassed for how crazy hyper he was being. My 9yr old was also very scared going in to his appt and they made it a really good experience for him.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Dentistry for Children & Adolescents for 5+ years now. WE LOVE their services! My kids actually love going to the dentist [for the prizes of course!] They take a great approach with children, explaining everything & taking out any fear. They guide me, as the parent, through every step of the way as well. I highly recommend Dentistry for Children & Adolescents if you are looking for a dentist who will keep your child's health and happiness in mind.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old son was so scared going into his dentist visit. The last time he was there all the COVID protocols were new and he was freaked out! He was more prepared this time and was trying to be brave, but fear took over and he went off running toward the door. When I got him back to the chair, the hygienist did such a great job comforting him and showing him exactly what she was going to do and what tools she was going to use. She demonstrated on a teddy bear and even let him feel the tools. Because of her patience and reassurance, my son had a successful visit!

Fantastic experience: I have an autistic son and all of the staff that works on his teeth are very patient and accommodating of his needs. Even though I moved, I continue to visit the Burnsville clinic despite it being further away. I am going to miss Dr Pamela Erikson as she is retiring in 2021. I would highly recommend this clinic to any parent looking for a new dental provider for their children

Fantastic experience: The reception that we receive at every visit is the same. Everyone that we encounter is helpful and friendly. Even though we don't live in Burnsville anymore we still come back because of their professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Very good service from everyone there. Very friendly and gentle staff that eased my daughter's anxiety. They went at her pace and didn't rush her or push her into things she was uncomfortable with. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My goodness, these folks know what they are doing! They do an amazing job of talking to kids in a way they can understand and make it less scary. They also do such wonderful work incredibly quickly. I would bring my kids to them anytime!

Negative experience: Its my biggest mistake i went there for my kids routine dental checkup..Thay just do lot of extra rhings those were not covered in insurance to get money...For normal routine chech up they send me a big bill that make me really upset...so please pkease dont go there. My previous dental clinic did not charge me any bill as all was covered by same insurance company. Same thing i asked from Dentistry for achildren staff before taking appoinment, she said their clinic is in health parterners network. But on this bill when i checked with health partners, they said Dentistry for Children is not is in health partners network. why your staff misguide me???

Positive experience: I brought my daughter in for some fillings. They worked fast and efficient. My concerns was when she didn't get to hear my warning about the novicain; and, how she was uncomfortable with the gas over her nose.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with my nonverbal special needs son- everyone is always so patient and kind. They let him explore and get comfortable while still making sure he gets the dental care he needs. I feel so fortunately to have found such an amazing resource.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Our experience with our most recent cleaning and follow-up appointments for additional dental work on both our kids beat all expectations by the Dentistry for Children & Adolescent staff. Our kids were at ease with the cleaning. But when we were told we'd have to come back for additional dental attention, my heart stopped with worry for my kids. The staff put me at ease. The staff was absolutely wonderful with the kids, patient, answered all their questions, let them hold the dental tools and explained in terms of which they'd understand of what was going to happen next. Had an amazing approach to distracting, drawing attention elsewhere as they worked through some of the more challenging steps in repairing their teeth. We parents were impressed and our kids left feeling good (numb but good). We are very happy with the service and the feeling they give our kids of visiting the dentist. We'll see you in 6 months. Fantastic experience: Dr. Pam and all staff are extremely caring and sensitive to both my boys and dealing with the "fear" of going to the dentist. I'm sad to hear Dr. Pam is retiring this winter she has been great and easy to work with - I do trust my boys are in good hands going forward!

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our kids here for a couple years and they have been great. Today's visit went about as good as a visit could go. They staff was welcoming and engaged with my daughter throughout the procedure and all was good!

Fantastic experience: Update: My seven year old just had his back molars sealed yesterday. He has a lot of anxiety and fear of getting dental work done. The procedure went great. My little guy rose to the occasion, but in large part it was due to the staff talking to him through the procedure and keeping him calm. They were able to get us in and out very quickly, which helped a lot too. Thank you for making this a positive experience! Dr Pam and the hygienists are so good working with my highly sensitive children. One of my children has a developmental delay and is sensitive to tastes and the other is afraid of getting his teeth cleaned. They are great at making adjustments on the fly to help make my kids as comfortable as possible. I definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My daughter suffers from an anxiety disorder. Going to the dentist is always stressful for her. The staff are so patient with her they explain each step they are going to do. Show her the tools they are using and explain their uses. They take so much time to do their best to alleviate as much of her fears as they can, and give her time if she needs a few minute break. Tremendous empathy and patience. Would recommend to any parent they are awesome!

Positive experience: The staff was SUPER friendly and kind. They made helpful accommodations for our 2 year old, answered our questions, put us at ease, and gave helpful advice. The reason I wouldn't give our latest visit 5 stars is that we were exactly on time for our appointment but had to wait 30 min. to be seen by the dentist. That's a long time for a 2 year old to wait with no waiting room. The staff made the best of it, but that could've been better.
