Negative experience: They gave me X-rays looked at my tooth while I was in excruciating pain crying they looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about I told them Tylenol or Advil doesn't help with the pain they gave me 600 mg of ibuprofen got home the pain got so bad I went into the hospital they gave me antibiotics come to find out it was a tooth infection they are the worst dentist I've ever gone to!!! The hospital did there job better then the dentist.

Negative experience: The dentist is great. WHEN HE IS THERE! Three appointments in a row we scheduled at 9am and he didn't even arrive until 9:30-10am. Very inconsiderate and the staff are aware because they say "He tries" to get here by 9am.

Fantastic experience: Great cleaning, staff goes above and beyond, they’re all so kind I can always count on them to take care of my teeth.

Negative experience: Told me I needed a root canal for a simple chipped tooth went somewhere else was told it only needs a filling. When cleaning my teeth it hurt and the dental assistant seemed annoyed and made comments about my teeth extremely unprofessional. I went to a different dentist and a cleaning did not hurt it should not be hurting.

Fantastic experience: I got a cleaning, it was a very quick and easy process and the staff were welcoming.

Negative experience: Horizon has been a nightmare to deal with. They do not respect patient time. They routinely had us waiting 15-30 minutes between check-ins from the doctor, making routine appointments last HOURS, during which we could hear him counseling other patients. They routinely failed to contact us regarding scheduling changes, including when they cancelled an appointment because they " no longer took our insurance" (the second time they had done this, the first delay resulted in my inability to get the care I was covered for to before my insurance ran out. I have a large gap in my teeth that should have been filled with a covered bridge but Horizon couldn't get their act together in time.) They never called to inform us of appointments being cancelled for the insurance reason either, resulting in us showing up for multiple appointments that had been cancelled. Wasting our time and money, with no remorse shown by them. Regarding the quality of work: I had a bridge done with them that cracked within 3 months of being installed in my mouth. Fillings have fallen out entirely. They do not care if you are experiencing pain. They will shame you if you request additional numbing. They do NOT offer any other kind of pain management either (NO laughing gas, no sedation, must raw knuckle all procedures with just novocaine.) The doctor is short with patients and seems impatient when asked questions, does not seem to care about patients, and spends as little time as possible with them. They also routinely cancelled or changed apppointments with little to no notice. They schedule far too many patients per day for their one doctor in the practice. Overall we have had a very negative experience with this clinic and would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Horizon Dental. I came in with a bad toothache, and Ms. Kathy examined my teeth and took very good care of me. She also did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and even showed me how to properly floss, which I really appreciated. She was gentle, patient, and made me feel at ease right away. I was also able to get an appointment scheduled for next week, which was a big plus. Dr. M then looked at my teeth, and I explained to him that I haven’t smiled in 18 years due to a terrible experience with a previous dentist who messed up my teeth. I told him how nervous and scared I was, and he made sure I was comfortable and reassured me that I wouldn’t feel pain. His dental assistant, Ms. Brooke, was also wonderful. She walked me through my root canal procedure step by step, making sure I was okay the whole time and that I wasn’t in any pain. She kept checking on me and explaining everything that was happening, which really helped calm my nerves. I’m very happy that I finally found a dentist who truly cares. I’m so grateful that Dr. M is going to fix my teeth so I can finally smile again. I highly recommend Horizon Dental to anyone who is scared of the dentist or has had bad past experiences.

Negative experience: I started coming here over a year ago, when you call 3/4 of the time no one answers. I have alot of missing teeth and wanted the rest removed even with a referral to get my remaining teeth out the dentist convinced me to not get them removed, instead they took a year to make me a bad partial that made me look worse with them in then without. I dont recommend this place to anyone, thanks to this place I have to wait 5 more years to get dentures, they made me a very shitty set of partial teeth that I refuse to wear... the staff is friendly but they did poor work

She made them feel welcome and comfortable right away when she sees them which put the kids at ease to allow her to do her job which she did really well. Kathy was very kind, gentle, and thorough while cleaning the kids teeth by talking them throughout her process to ensure they know what's going on. After she's done, she reported the kids' teeth health and made necessary recommendations for continued upkeep. I highly recommend scheduling time with Kathy!!
