Fantastic experience: came across this office while looking on my insurance app, and decided to call I’m glad I did I was able to get an appointment right away for my front tooth that was chipped. And seriously they killed it made my tooth look like it was never broken. Awesome job and a great team definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr Vargas and his team is so great! I came to them for help with teeth cleaning and dental hygiene and they set up a whole plan for me and it was so great, staff is so sweet and helpful as well as knowledgeable.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this dental office, and a big part of that was thanks to Sky. She is incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. She’s very patient, explains things clearly, and always has a positive attitude. You can tell she genuinely cares about patients and about doing her job well. The office feels organized and friendly, and Sky truly makes a difference in the experience. Highly recommend this place!
Fantastic experience: The Virginia Dental group team is awesome! Dr. Vargas did an amazing job on my veneers over 7 years ago and I still get compliments to this day. They provide thorough treatment plans and help you make the best choices that are personalized to your unique needs.
Negative experience: Initially, I was treated by Dr. Rueda, and the experience was acceptable, which is the only reason this review is not zero stars. Unfortunately, things went downhill once I began seeing Dr. Vargas, and after three separate negative experiences, I will not be returning. First, I had a root canal performed by Dr. Vargas that resulted in an abscess. When I raised concerns, both Dr. Vargas and her (at the time) very opinionated secretary dismissed the issue as “routine.” This was surprising and concerning, as I have had multiple prior root canals and never experienced anything similar. Second, I underwent a filling and crown procedure that developed minor complications. While I won’t go into details, even this relatively straightforward treatment did not go as smoothly as expected. The final straw occurred last year when I had another deep cavity filling and crown. About three weeks later, I returned complaining of significant tooth sensitivity. Dr. Vargas repeatedly insisted this was normal. I returned again months later, and she continued to normalize the pain, claiming sensitivity for up to nine months was expected. It has now been over a year, and the tooth remains sensitive. There is a difference between complications that occur despite best efforts and dismissing a patient’s ongoing pain by repeatedly minimizing it. I ultimately lost confidence, not just in the outcome of the work, but in how concerns were handled. For that reason, I am done and will not be returning.

The team is incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about their clients. The quality of their work always exceeds my expectations, and I trust them completely. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, top-notch service! Shout out to Dr. Vagas, Karen, Danny!!
Fantastic experience: This is such a great facility! I’ve never had an experience at the dentist like this - they did an intake-like appointment at first. Their equipment is all new, they are all super professional and kind, and even gave a presentation on tooth health. Super informative experience - definitely coming back!

The staff there are knowledgeable, patient, and understanding, and are also experienced and professional. Parvana is an amazing dental hygienist!! She takes the time to teach you about how to care for and tend to your teeth. She instructs and advices and makes you feel super comfortable as well!! Every dental team needs someone like her . Every step of the way you are being informed and involved in the care of your teeth. There is never a wait, the office is clean and cool, and if you are nervous, your mind will be put at ease!! 100/10, would totally recommend.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the services here, I take my younger brother here for all his dental checkups, and whatever else he needs done on his teeth. The providers here express their care, go above and beyond to accommodate their patients. The front staff.. I believe Danny and Karen are wonderful as well! They are quick about checking in and scheduling future appointments! They also have Spanish speakers, which is awesome to see! I highly recommend people to come here!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr Vargas & (and Dr Rueda) since 2011. I’ve received orthodontic care, and so have my children. The doctors here are patient, super friendly and knowledgable. I had issues with an impacted tooth prior to coming here, and I found out that the impacted tooth was causing bone loss. Thus began my journey with Virginia Dental Group to regenerate bone and address other issues in my mouth. We’ve always received excellent care. The staff are also bilingual and always educate me on dental health. I also love that Dr Vargas stays on top of the latest developments in the field of dental health and to my pleasant surprise, they now offer skin rejuvenation services!
Fantastic experience: Dr. Vargas changed my life she’s been a major blessing for me…I grew up with dental issues a door was slammed in my face at school when I was 9 yrs old and couldn’t get braces like my twin brother and older brother front tooth was chipped and got teased all my life I covered my mouth a lot when I smiled as a child I grew up and God pointed me to her practice she restored my smile I’ve been getting compliments on my teeth for the past 12 years all veneers still intact and looks great I’m tearing up as I write this because the impact you’ve had on my life feels like God heard my prayers as a kid and from the bottom of my heart Thank you Dr. Vargas and thank you to your staff and facility for all that you’ve done for me.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely would recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a dentist that makes you feel comfortable and very much heard (and not just another number). I've dealt with many of the staff members and all have been warm and attentive. I love how transparent they are with everything - from procedures to pricing to insurance coverage. Karen, the front desk admin, is a delight to work with! She is super knowledgeable and makes sure all your questions are answered with no hesitation. Negative experience: Be aware this office only serves able-bodied patients. The building is not accessible and they do not bother telling you that when you make an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Accommodating, thorough, and great customer service. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Vargas and the whole team here. I was able to get in quickly for an emergency appointment despite short notice. Though it was an emergency exam, the doctor and staff took their time and explained each step to me. Fantastic experience: I had to switch my daughter’s dentist so, she is a new patient and our experience today was fantastic. Eden was absolutely incredible, compassionate and extremely helpful. She exceeded all expectations and went over everything very thoroughly. Dr. Vargas was also just as amazing! She is very gentle, knowledgeable and welcoming! She was also such a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this dentist. I am so happy with our switch and don’t think I could have found a better dentist, honestly!! The advanced technology they have is great as well as having a lot of options (in-house) such as orthodontics, oral surgery & implants and biological dentistry! I was given several options for my daughter to consider for her future dental plan. Everyone at the office was spectacular! Fantastic experience: I called Tuesday morning in extreme pain cause my wisdom tooth. They got me in the same day, did my X-rays and gave me all the information I needed very accurately. Today is Thursday, I've gotten my tooth removed and I was very comfortable. The ladies and Dr.Rueda are awsome very responsive and extremely helpful . I'm actually making him my regular dentist too.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this clinic for two years now and i honestly can say that my experience here with the personal and with all the treatments i’ve got it’s incredible, the way they helped me is amazing, from cavities, teeth cleaning to braces i am more than happy with the results. No doubts they can help us with the best technology and a good smile. Fantastic experience: I’m grateful for everyone here! Especially Dr Rueda for quickly treating me same day. Everyone here are extremely knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Fantastic experience: I came in today for a cleaning after not being here for a while and Goksu (hygienist) and Karla (assistant) made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process! They informed me what was happening step by step of the way and were more than happy to answer any and all questions I had. Overall, good experience with friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I first came to Dr. Vargas for my veneers and I absolutely loved it!! She is a top notch dentist and excellent at her job. Dr. Vargas, my hygienist Goksu, and the entire crew are so nice and warm. They take care of me like I’m part of the family. FYI, I’m deaf but they are effective at communicating with me. I’m so impressed with their advanced technology equipment. I only wish that they were closer to me. I drive more than an hour to visit this office but totally worth it!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vargas, Dr. Rueda, and the whole team at Virginia Dental Group are awesome. I am a former patient (moved away) but currently staying in the area and needed an appointment. They got me in just a couple days later and did a fantastic job. They also have the latest equipment and tech that my regular dentist doesn't, so definitely an upgrade from the work I would have gotten done back home. It looks like they've expanded their office and services since I was last here, so they're doing more than just dentistry now. I probably won't get a chance to check those out before I leave, but will be sending friends and family who live in the area their way!!

Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They messed up my father's teeth. Made up issues after issues without properly fixing anything. They charge both you and insurance on things you don't need. They don't take responsibility of their own screw ups. Awful. They only care on profits not the patient

My dental hygienist, Goksu, is incredible at what she does! She always makes patients feel comfortable and relaxed during visits. She always makes sure to give you the run-down of what she’ll be doing to your teeth and she goes through thorough detail about how to care for your teeth at home.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my initial consultation with Dr Rueda. He is extremely knowledgeable. I was impressed with the staff because they had such wonderful attitudes.
