Fantastic experience: I love everything about this practice, from the front desk staff to Dr. D! I’ve had several bad experiences with dentists over the years, so I was incredibly thankful to be referred to Dr. D. She has been the best referral I’ve ever received. Dr. D. takes the time to explain everything in terms you can understand, is very attentive to your comfort and pain level, and continually checks in to make sure you’re doing okay throughout the entire process. I’ve always had a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work, but Dr. D. has completely changed that for me. I now feel comfortable and confident in her care. The entire practice is wonderful, and everyone is friendly, caring, and professional. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone—and I already have!

Fantastic experience: called this office desperately looking for a dental appointment, and they were able to fit me in the same day at their other location. Fantastic experience: I am truly happy with this dental practice. Dr. D is so amazing. She explains everything so thoroughly, taking her time to make sure you feel very comfortable. She is so gentle with her approach in administrating the novacaine. Her front desk staff is also very thorough in checking with your dental insurance to make sure you are appropiately charged your proper fees. Also, her assistant is very calm and very reassuring in her approach to preparing you prior to seeing Dr. D. All in all I would go out of my way to continue to see her as my dentist and to be cared for by her staff.

The office is very clean and modern and I did not have any anxiety from my fear of dentists during my visit. Mas was extremely friendly and helpful from the first time I spoke with her on the phone. Fantastic experience: I began using the outstanding services rendered at Merrifield Dental Associates in January 2024. My previous dentist caused a crack in my tooth that required a root canal and a crown. Dr. Mitra flawlessly completed the crown procedure within two visits. I was very pleased and impressed with her skill and compassionate care. Since then, I have totally entrusted all my dental care to her and her dream team. My daughter is now a patient of the practice as well due to my favorable word-of-mouth referral. The Office Manager, Mas has been extremely knowledgeable and diligent when it comes to working with my dental insurance companies and expeditiously filing my claims. When I encountered a problem with getting reimbursed by the insurance company for an office visit, she went above and beyond to resolve the issue. I received the payment shortly after Mas reached out to the insurance carrier on my behalf. If you’re looking for top quality dental services using new technologies, and compassionate care, I highly recommend Merrifield Dental Associates.

Everyone was so nice and the overall experience was so positive. It was such a great experience that I booked an appointment for my husband. I was impressed too with the high-tech imaging they had! I’ve had wrong procedures done by the wrong dentists but when i visited there office, the pain went away as they fix all the mistakes. I feel human again. Fantastic experience: I was scared for my appointment because I’d been told by another dentist that I need a deep gum cleaning and have 6 cavities. I brush multiple times a day and floss, so I wanted to try another office and chose this practice because of the good reviews. Dr. Davani showed me my X-rays and said I have 0 cavities. I only needed a regular cleaning which she did on the spot and said to keep doing what I’m doing at home. She clearly is an honest dentist, something that apparently is not common based on my prior experience with more than one other dental practice. I couldn’t recommend this office more! I’m so relieved that even as someone without dental insurance, Dr. Davani only offered to me what was actually necessary. She’s got a permanent patient out of me and I will recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Forgot to post a review! - - - Went here a few times for some emergency x-rays. They're clearly very booked and busy but they were able to make time to see me which I really appreciate! They were very welcoming and understanding of my previous trauma with dentists in the past. They allowed me to take a moment to breathe and bring in a comfort plush I had brought, which I appreciate more than I can put into words. They were very gentle and quick with the x-rays in that regard as well. Ended up being recommended I find a dentist that does proper sedation for my nervous case (understandable!) but I agree with all the other reviews here. Despite my short-lived experience, I can tell they are a fine dentistry and definitely recommend them for a kind atmosphere and people who genuinely want the best for you! Thank you again, and I'll let you know if my procedures go well :P

Negative experience: I was told that I couldn’t schedule my son for a cleaning here because he is only 3 and he should go to a pediatric dentist because they have toys there and we could come back when he’s 14. Most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. My son has been to a dentist since he was 8 months, and never had any issues. Just needed to find a new doc bc of insurance changes.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the assistant was also very nice and I loved that she told me she loves her job and her boss (the dentist). The doc was professional, told me what she was doing and also, well, quite human. Long story short…she presents as a caring and smart (being a dentist I suppose that’s a bit redundant) woman who has a nice “bedside manner” that includes a healthy bit of EI. One time she barely nicked me cleaning and she apologized. Put that up against a dentist I once had who basically sanded—for lack of the correct term—a tooth I had chipped…and without anesthetic of any kind. I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs to see a dentist, including those who might not have been to one in several years like me.

She’s a big baby (over 30yo) and Dr. Mitra is the only dentist she’s ever been willing to visit. What a great place. Fantastic staff!

Fantastic experience: I visited Merrifield Dental for the first time recently and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Davaninejad. Her bedside manner was exactly what anyone would hope for and her assistant was gentle and professional. The doctor even instructed her assistant to make me more comfortable by putting Vaseline on my dry lips. When was the last time a dentist did that for you? I can't recommend this office and Dr. Davaninejad enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Davaninejad and the staff at Merrifield dental are wonderful! On my first visit, I hadn't been to the dentist in over three years and was nervous but the staff is very kind. Also, the office has large windows so there's no dentist's dungeon feeling when in the chair. Just had my second visit. The doctor and staff take my tooth sensitivity seriously and don't push it around the sensitive teeth, even though that's where the most tartar is (naturally). They clean that spot manually instead of with the high speed buzzy thing, which is great. They are also pretty quick, and can show before and after photos. Now I have appts about every six months and don't dread the dentist's.

Fantastic experience: I first want to say, this is by far my best dental experience I have had in my life. I would have to disagree with the person that stated customers are paid for good reviews. I am a professional working client who values customer service. If Merrifield Dental Associates provided bad service I would rate them as such. With that being said, I couldn’t ask for a more friendlier office to be a dental patient. The office is super clean and everyone that works there are so friendly. Each appointment is exactly on time and the service is great. Dr. D’s recommendations are always made in the best interest of the customer and not based on financial gain. I sincerely would rate this office a 10/10 without hesitation And would recommend anyone to this office.
