Attentive to your needs and conservative in their approach - not pushing you into unnecessary and costly procedures - they consistently demonstrate compassionate care for their patients. I came to this office nine months ago for a dental emergency (broken cap and intense pain) and they got me right in and took care of me. My former dental office of 25 plus years did not respond to my dental emergency and told me that I would have to wait 2-3 weeks before they could see me. Dr. Keith Gressell didn’t wait. He fit me into his busy schedule, took care of my emergency and earned my trust. Now my wife sees Dr Gressell, too, and is as pleased as I am with all their services. Highly recommend Harbor Hill Dentistry!

I broke my front tooth crown after hours, so I left a message hoping to come in first thing on Monday to get it fixed. Dr Gressell called me back within 15 minutes, and he told me to come in the next day on his day off and he fixed it. I highly recommend Harbor Hill for all your dental needs!

Fantastic experience: All staff are very professional and thorough. They provide a top of the line service. With this top notch service comes a little bit of out of pocket cost beyond what basic dental insurance covers. IMO investing in dental care is worth it in the long run. They were very fair and up front about the cost of everything. Only criticism is that it is a busy office so the appointment schedule isn’t necessarily wide open but not unreasonable

Fantastic experience: Today I had something new done at the dentist part of my tooth broke off, so I needed a crown. I’ve never had one before, but Patricia got me all prepped and made sure I was comfortable. Then the dentist came in and worked his magic he’s incredibly friendly, efficient, and fast. I also had a filling done, and I was truly in and out. Everyone took the time to answer any questions I had. I didn’t catch the scheduler’s name, but she is always super friendly, as is the gal who checks you in. The whole team really makes going to the dentist a better experience. Thank you so much to everyone there!

Fantastic experience: Somehow, I managed to break an implant. I'm given a next day appt. to assess the damage. I go to the appt., a plan is made, I understand the mechanics of what's to be done, parts are ordered. I go home, eat a strawberry, (not on the bad side) and suddenly I have what feels like a bullet rolling around my mouth. Sucker was heavy! I spit out my (indestructible molar) in horror and called the dentist back babbling about this. I'm told to come in the very next day which I do, vaguely resigned to eating gruel for the rest of my life. This implant took the place of 2 molars I'd lost due to an abscess. Worse, this was also a prized gold tooth. Dentist examines, explains and I vote for the chance offered, what's to loose at this point? The implant is drilled removing the broken screw. Then he drills the other end of the screw out of my jaw bone. Success! A little laser surgery to clean up the area, x-rays and then the finale! He puts in the implant and screws it in, sorta like dropping a new engine into a chase, torques it down and pesto, new tooth! Took about an hour and didn't hurt at all! The cost of all this service? Less than $200.00! I am SEVERELY anxious concerning dentistry and need nitrous just for a cleaning. All of this was done with no fuss, suburb support and NO nitrous. I am completely and utterly impressed! Walked out and treated myself to Panda :)

Fantastic experience: The treatment changed my life! 21 straight days and no CPAP!!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Gressell and his team to anyone with sleep apnea issues!!!

Negative experience: I brought my 3.5 year old in for an “airway evaluation” and was told the appointment would cost $350. I expected that fee to include imaging or a more in-depth assessment, but the entire visit ended up being about a 15-minute conversation with the dentist. I understand it can be challenging to perform a full exam on a young child, but charging $350 for such a brief consultation feels unreasonable. I’ve had many orthodontic and dental consults over the years, often free, and this “airway evaluation” felt very similar to what I’ve received elsewhere at no cost. I left feeling disappointed and honestly a bit misled. Not only was it an expensive visit, but I also didn’t leave with anything concrete to help address my daughter’s airway concerns. I really wish this experience had matched the price and expectations set beforehand.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gressell is great and so are all the staff! He is conservative in his approach to problems and always lets you decide how to proceed. The entire staff and hygienists are wonderful to have to care for my dental hygiene.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gressell and his team are SO compassionate. They really take it seriously when someone is in distress, and I've never felt more reassured by a dentist's office that they're going to quickly address my concerns. I was in a lot of pain, and he said "We're not going to let the sun set on this pain", and proceeded to work with his team to come up with a plan to solve the problem immediately. I'll always recommend them.

Negative experience: I moved here from CA and considering that I get my teeth cleaned and regular dentist checkups every 6 months, finding a new dentist in the area was top of my priority list. So I scheduled an appt with Dr Gressell to establish myself as a new patient. They took x-rays and the hygienist performed a cleaning. When Dr Gressell came in, he looked at the x-ray and told me that two of my fillings, and I only have two, are failing and need to be redone asap. He also proceeded to tell me that I had a “giant” cavity and that it would be a “massive” filling that would likely fail, so he recommended a root canal! Mind you I floss, brush and have regular cleanings and checkups religiously. As soon as I left, I forwarded those x-rays to my dentist back in CA and he said there is absolutely nothing there. I have since seen 2 different dentists locally in Gig Harbor and neither of them have seen any cavities or any issues with my current fillings. In fact, this last dentist who I will absolutely keep seeing said my teeth were in incredible condition and wishes all his patients had teeth and gums like me. Make this make sense?!? Dr Gressell wanted to kill my tooth to make money. But I’m smarter than that! The first red flag was when he told me that his wife says he’s not a good sales man! Who says that?….a con man. So patients beware….always get a second opinion!

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was amazing. From the moment I walked into the door until I departed. I was greeted cordially as I came in (I was a few minutes late too), as soon as I was signed in, I was greeted by Mrs. Angelica who did a great job of getting me set up. The hygienist who did the exam and cleaning was awesome and so was the dentist who finished up. The teak here went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and they went the extra mile to ensure my dental health was immaculate. I highly recommend going here. I found my new dental home.

Their system of making appoints, sending reminders and rescheduling appointments runs smoothly and user friendly, the hygienists I have had have all been very thorough, professional and gentle - and good at oral health education. Doctor Keith takes time to answer questions, Clearly explain any concerns about exams and has additional knowledge and advice about airway issues many patients can have due to their specific jaw, bite, size of their airway.

My dental assistant calls flossing giving your teeth a hug, which is the most positive way I've ever heard flossing described. They also do a great job of communicating everything with clarity.

Fantastic experience: After over a decade of braces and various dental appliances, Dr. Gressel swooped in and saved me! He created a beautiful set of veneers that drastically improved not only the appearance, but also the feel/comfort and function of my mouth. The hygienists are fantastic and take the time to educate on technique without pushing products. (PS Dr. G is THE master at giving injections!)

We had no idea how very fortunate we would be. From the moment we walked in asking if the office was accepting new patients, and by the way meeting an amazing front desk staff - friendly, helpful, happy, incredible, things were easy. We made appointments and within a week and a half we had our biannual visits and more accomplished. We couldn't be happier, or feel more grateful to have found this awesome dental practice. Follow up: looks like I didn’t post the review. I can happily say we have been to the office a few times now and are as happy with this dental practice as we were the first time.

When he took over, we remained happy with our care and impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. When my son recently had 2 front teeth knocked out, Dr. Gressel stopped what he was doing on a Sunday afternoon to call and comfort and assure me that he and his team would do everything they could to take care of my boy. They have handled his treatment as if he was their own son, all while still providing exceptional care to my husband and I. I am very grateful to have a local dentist who is a fellow veteran that I can trust with the care of my family and I!
