Fantastic experience: They have become my new dental after we moved to Cordova.

Negative experience: The worst dentist I ever had teeth was fine till I went to them. I had to go back there times for the same root canal

Negative experience: As a 20 plus years retired Veteran and a 20 year retired educator, my first appointment with Cordova Dentistry was a great experience. Yesterday, my wife went in for her second appointment and they made her pay $40 for my visit. We never had that happen before at any other dentist office. They deal with the same insurance companies everyday so you would think they would know what’s covered. I went in to speak with the receptionist, now if they had told me that I needed something additional for $40 and my insurance didn’t cover it, I would’ve gotten it done but, I think I deserve the right to make that decision. Cordova dentistry receptionist made the decision that $40 was more important than a client so I requested that my name be removed from their system. I couldn’t understand how they could justify this as being fair all over $40 I was extremely disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best dental experience ive ever had in my 58 years of life. If there is a such thing as a good dental experience i had it today. The dentist could probably tell I was extremely anxious about getting 3 teeth pulled. He shook my hand and told me that the tissue around those 3 was soft and those teeth would slide right out no problem. I laughed thinking he was trying to be funny. Did I feel the sting of the numbing agent DEFINITELY! Did I feel the 3 teeth being extracted? I again thought he was joking when he said we were done. Virtually painless. When I get his name I will edit this post. Thank you for your experience and time doc.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is simply amazing. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk into the office. Dr. Iams is absolutely amazing. The Assistants are just as amazing. Stacy and the New Jersey lady were phenomenal!!! I absolutely love this place me and my family have finally found a home that we don’t mind putting our money where our mouth is!!!!

Negative experience: Honestly if I had the option I would give them no stars. Ms Turner really knows how to make a person feel bad about cavities. She also filled my tooth too far down to the point the filling is sitting on my nerve. She didn't tell me that I would need a root canal sooner and wasted my time. Because she had waste my time and money in the process my insurance from my parents that I was on got cut off and I was trying to get everything done before it was going to be cut off and I had plenty of time. She said I had waited too long to say anything about it still hurting when eating when they said that the sensitivity stuff that they had put on my tooth would take a while to kick in. In the process of wasting my time and not telling me everything and not doing your job correctly I have been put on antibiotics for an infection in my gum 3 times and currently going through an infection and having a hard time finding dental care because of the only insurance I have now. Would highly not recommend. All they care about is money

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ijams and his team are nothing but Amazing people. Their customer service and knowledge is 100 across the board. I would choose him in every lifetime. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service and support. I got an extraction, 2 fills, and a comedy show all in one day! No pain, no problems. That office is definitely Blessed

Positive experience: I was going there for years but my insurance changed. Everything is great butttt the new ladies at the front desk are very rude and mean. I use to love this office sooo much that I was willing to pay out of pocket. These new ladies at the front desk are so evil and will definitely run patients away.

Fantastic experience: It is very hard to find dentists who care enough to take the time to get to know their patients prior to examining them. On top of that, I received exceptional care and everything that was discussed/recommended was explained thoroughly in layperson terms. Tonya, the dental hygienist was personable and went above and beyond to set me up for success with a great smile in the future. I’m not sure HOW they’ve been hiding, but I guarantee that you will never visit another dentist after you go to Cordova Dental!! I am beyond impressed! Please go see them

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office over7 years. Everyone is kind, friendly and professional. I’ve seen both dentists and can highly recommend both. They only do procedures that are necessary. Insurance is available that covers routine care and discounts other care that has been a good investment for us.

Fantastic experience: I’m truly surprised/impressed/blown-away! The level of professional medical care my daughter received here exceeded all expectations, both medically and interpersonally! Dr. Iam’s called me twice on Friday evening to make sure my 10 year old felt well throughout the day after she left with her 2 fillings!! He Called twice!… and left VM’s on Friday night, and then took my return call with genuine curiosity and concern!!! He was with his family and treated me as though I was part of it! Not even slight exaggeration!! Where have these guys been lately!!! The entire experience was an unexpected breath of fresh air when compared the dispassionate, pop-up, people-mill, box checking, care-for-copay facilities that just want you to get out so they get paid! If you value those who have a passion for what they do, and treat people as humans on an individual case by case basis… You should never look anywhere else! I am still blown away at the entire experience! I wish they had 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: Contrary to what most people feel about going to the dentist.. I absolutely LOVE going! Cordova Dental and the ENTIRE team is top notch. I don't say that lightly. From the second I walk into the door, to when I walk out, I leave better than I came! Everyone makes me feel SO at ease, welcomed, informed, and all of my needs are addressed and met. I have been seeing Dr.David Ijams for most of my life, and I just can't express the adoration I have for him and his team.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Cordova Dental for 17 years and I will never go anywhere else. They never tell me I need something when I don’t and are always on top of it when I do need something. They get you in quickly if you are in pain. I started taking my 4 children there when they were old enough and they are comfortable here and it’s always a pleasant visit. My kids so far haven’t had to have any dental work thankfully. I hear so many horror stories of other dental places doing dental work on children when.not needed and you will not find that to be the case at Cordova Dental.

You're greeted by name, minimal wait time, and just about as good of an experience as you can have at the dentist. I hate going to the dentist, but, the staff has skills beyond compare. Fantastic experience: The absolute PERFECT dental office! The staff blows me away with kindness every single time I’m in. Both doctors have seen me and both are equally amazing. Front desk might be the sweetest people in the world, AND THEY HAVE A PUPPY! On a more serious note, my husband (military) is terrified of dentist’s and hadn’t been in over 20 years, they were very kind, no shaming, accommodating, fast, and efficient and best of all pain free. I worked in a few dental offices for 16 years and this one is by far my favorite!
