Fantastic experience: An amazing experience from start to finish! The front desk staff is so warm and welcoming, and the office is exceptionally clean. I have severe anxiety and a big fear of drowning/choking on water during dental work, but the entire team went above and beyond. The hygienist explained everything in detail, and the dentist was so sweet, attentive, and gentle, constantly checking in on my comfort and swallowing needs. Truly a wonderful, patient centered practice!

Fantastic experience: The Husband and wife team are superb! The office staff is kind, professional, and efficient. I have had to have extensive work done, and at times am not an easy patient, but I was always treated with patience and understanding! You NEED to go here for all your Dental needs!!

Negative experience: Don't trust the doctor here. Got my child seen here in November. He's 3, no previous dental issues. The doctor did a visual exam She told us he had a bad cavity. She was combative and defensive when we asked for details. She said her tool went "straight into the hole" and that it was an obvious cavity. She tried to get us to fill it the next day, but the only treatment option was to give him a shot while holding him down. We got a second opinion at the pediatric dentistry of San Angelo. They did an X-ray and visual exam. No cavity or any sign of problems. Had another appointment there today with the same results (another X-ray and visual exam). They also have treatment options there that could make any possible fillings a positive experience and take Tricare for military folks.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my mom so it was a new patient appointment. The Dentist took x-rays told her she had an infection in her gums. The only way to get rid of it was to pull all her bottom teeth, but yet she also told her they wouldn’t be able to do anything until the infection was clear yet they did not prescribe any kind of antibiotics for it. And when I called the next day they hung up on me and I called back and the girl at the front desk said more than likely she would need antibiotics and that she would ask the dentist and call me back later. I still have not received a phone call to see what antibiotics my mom would need for her infection. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Negative experience: I was sad to hear that the face up front that everyone knows and loves will no longer be there. I called today only to hear from whoever answered the phone that the one person that has ever helped me with my insurance woes is gone. If it were not for Billie and Kirsten I never would have gone to any of my appointments. I will no longer be going there and urge everyone else not to go there. Billie was a great addition to the business and has always been helpful, more than helpful with patients. Kirsten is wonderful as well as the blonde lady in the back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and had six extractions including two wisdom teeth. The dentist did his job well and the only complaint I have is that I was given a piece of paper with instructions on it for my aftercare but I was not told anything by the dentist about anything , not even the stitches I just noticed them on my own. I understand he is a busy man but he should be a little attentive to his patients. That is the only complaint I have .

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this place at all! I went for a first time patient visit. They didn't tell me I needed xrays and the rep at the front got an attitude when my dentist said it will take them 30 minutes to email them over, when they didn't tell me to send them when I made my appointment over 2 months ago. That was a flag that ignored as well as numerous things. They offered me a bridge or an implant and I declined, I've expressed that I didn't want those. I Spoke with the female dentist, she told me that she would call the lab to see what they could do about me getting a partial denture. I was told they would get back to me the next day. They reached back out, didn't have a clue about what I asked or was getting or the details, about 5 days later only to tell me they couldn't do the flexi or the cast metal??? When in fact they can be done. I don't know what is going on up there but something is off. They called me 4 times ( Kirsten) Call #1 - we can't get your partial back to you until next year, I asked okay when next year, uh I dont know. I said Okay can you find out? Also can you tell me what the partial would look like, the dentist said she would let me know( has been 5 days already ) Kirsten said she doesn't know and that she has to call the lab. The dentist said she would call the lab. So no one has called the lab AFTER 5 DAYS OF ME WAITING. Call #2 they said the can't do the cast work denture. After they told me they could and I had another option, then I asked about the other option and apparently Kirsten said if they can't to cast work, then they can't do the other option. WHAT?? Such a waste of my time. Other dentist around were offering me the flexi, but I want the cast iron. Kirsten really needs more training. The other 2 calls were me asking them if they had found out information that I talked to them about in my visit that they said they would get back to me. Another local dentist said this can be done with a flexible or cast metal not sure what lab they use that say they can't do it. Also sources say it can be done also. "Yes, a cast metal partial denture can be made for a single missing tooth, but it may not be the ideal solution". They said it can't be done. Some of people there have a non chalant attitude like we're bothering them or inconveniencing them. I will gladly take my business somewhere else. I will not recommend anyone here. 1st and the last. I really believe I dodged a bullet of what I could have experienced if I continued to go there. No money lost so, it's still a win for me. It's so comical and shocking. Like what???

Negative experience: A DEFINITION of scam artist! I paid 2500 cash. They did everything was fine. When it came to the last part of the procedure, I needed to pay 500.00. I said where the remaining 500.00 I had on file. They had amnesia real bad. If you needed to pay your car note just say that instead of playing dumb while stealing my money. Don't go to this place ever.

Positive experience: My first experience was good.i returned for a crown, can't say things went five star! Ill do four. The cost of nitrus oxide is ( TWICE THE LOCAL AVERAGE!) I did call around. The work is EXTREMELY EXCEPTIONAL! So whatever!

Negative experience: They was doing work on teeth and they didn’t finish they insisted i get root canals done when we asked them to pull them out so it didnt get worst and now my back molars are cracked and some are chipped

Negative experience: I did not agree that $75 should have been collected when I checked in. Poor ethic.

Positive experience: I visited this place for a couple of years and could write a review on my experience in general, but I ultimately stopped using this dentist as they wanted to charge me $75 to recement a crown than they had placed less than a year before. I found this not only disrespectful but bad faith practice and will choose a different provider going forward. After my review they did reach out and offer to fix their mistake for free. I was misgendered twice during the procedure though and for that reason will seek a more affirming dental establishment.

Fantastic experience: My kids liked it here. So I brought my daughter back to get cleaning and fillings. The dentist was patient and thorough, took her time and asked if I had questions. The assistant was also very nice and helpful. They made the experience worth it. Front desk was helpful with the insurance and payment process. It's hard to find someone you can trust with your dental care. But I highly recommend Lush dental.

Negative experience: I went in for a cleaning and I was told I needed 5 root canals. I went in for a second opinion with another dentist and was told all I needed was fillings.

Fantastic experience: My first time at Lusk Dental ...first impressions at front desk are so important......they were nice.....Brandi was so sweet and gentle......she is awesome no discomfort on x-rays or dental cleaning.....Dr. Shedrack Okojie is very pleasant and makes you comfortable.....a great first visit experience...I would highly recommend them.... keep up the great work...Thanks Mary Ann Goodloe

Positive experience: Very kind dentist. His staff is #1 in my books. But it’s a waiting game it’s been 3 months and I still don’t have my partial. They did have to send them off Just don’t understand. I hope I get my teeth soon. But I’m not satisfied with my partial it’s very uncomfortable. Maybe I will get use to them

Negative experience: Total SCAM!!! I had an emergency and called them to set up an appointment for the first time. I paid out of pocket because my tooth was killing me, and they said they would reimburse me after my insurance approved the procedure. It wasn't going to be the full amount, but it was going to be something. I had not gone back in months after I had forgotten about my reimbursement, and I decided to get another doctor. So I called them for the reimbursement back and let them know I was changing doctors. I called yesterday, and they said they had to talk to the doctor about it, and they would get back to me. They didn't call back. I called them, and when I asked what number they had on file, it was wrong by one digit. I told them the right number and said call whenever I would answer. She also let me know I had two missed appointments that I NEVER made, but I told her I didn't get a reminder, and it was probably because of my phone number being wrong. Now today I call because they didn't get back to me and I wanted to know what was happing and she informed me not only was I not getting my money back but that NOW I had 3 missed appointments and that my reimbursement money so happen to cover the amount. I went back and forth with her. I had not made an appointment since the last time I saw them, and she told me someone must have made them on my behalf. I'm a single mom with very few families in town. I don't talk to them, so now I'm sharing my story.

Negative experience: Even though I used in network insurance, they charged me for both what I owe and what the insurance would owe. Now that they have been paid by the insurance, they won't refund what they owe me. They keep saying they will call me back but never do.

Fantastic experience: I was having issues with my teeth due to them breaking from the top down I went to lush and they removed my top also provided me with a beautiful smile

Negative experience: I went in as a cash paying patient. I was charged 1200 for a cleaning and left with two chipped teeth which they said we would make appts to fix. No thank you

Dr. Khan is one of the best dentists I have ever had. His technique is beyond perfection! He is gentle, very caring, very knowledgeable. I trust him completely. Fantastic experience: I went to them with my broken denture and they not only repaired my denture , they did so perfectly that the denture now fits better then ever!!! And I was able to go home with my beautifully fixed dentures that very same day!! I am extremely happy with the service I received, from everyone at Lush Dental and I will be returning to them in the near future to have my next new set of dentures made !

Fantastic experience: As a first time client of Lush Dental I will say, this is the most thorough and comfortable dental office I have ever visited. Not only for me but they made my five year old daughter’s first ever dental visit, who was extremely nervous, very relaxed and at ease. The exams actually provide you with details and action plans to help with your dental care at home, unlike many other institutions. So glad my neighbor recommended Lush to us, being a new transplant to Sacramento.

Fantastic experience: Lush Dental is the absolute best dental office in Sacramento !! These people treat me like a VIP at every encounter. Yesterday , I had two front crowns and a root canal done. The temp crown look so real I can’t wait to see the final result. I have a tricky mouth , lots of issues . Lush Dental handles it all w ease. They work with my dental insurance like no one has ever. It’s pain free! And speaking of pain they are very careful with my mouth during procedures always asking if I’m ok. I can barely feel the shots even. It’s an absolute amazing place . If you are scared of the dentist for pain or frustrated with your front office staff please consider this establishment for a superior experience . I always recommend them to friends and family .

She was also so great with my daughter and got my daughter to do all the care needed! The dentists there are husband and wife and they’re great as well and answer any questions or concerns that you have

Fantastic experience: Lush Dental staff, and both Drs. Okojies were so pleasant, and very informative as to what procedures they were going to perform, and what procedures I would need in the future. I had both dentist work on me, and they both were very gentle. They gave me plenty of deadening, and made sure I was numb before starting to work on me. They were very proficient and fast. The work they performed turned out beautiful. The office staff went over every procedure and what the estimated cost would be after insurance. I would highly recommend Lush Dental to family and friends.

Negative experience: The dentures they made me do not fit properly. They will not fix them. The teeth are so short that I bite my lips when I eat. I have blisters on my gums. They just want to keep charging my insurance for new procedures.

Fantastic experience: New patient with new patient insurance and was happy to discover they are in network. Appointments were readily available and on time. My appointment was at 10:00 am with x-rays and cleaning and I was out at 10:45. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I have to tell you. My review has changed. I learned more. This relationship was a train wreck. Poor quotes, poor insurance follow up, Poor results, very poor corrections for very poor work.

Negative experience: This place is a SCAM, FRAUD, and they will take your insurance money and NOT deliver the service. Be careful when they ask you to pay out of pocket. They are doubling up on insurance money and your pocket money too. They cheated my mother out of her dentures. Her insurance covered ALL the fees and they charged her twice, but when she was supposed to get the real dentures, not the temporary ones, they refused, and instead kept adjusting the temporary dentures. They continued to shave the temp ones to fit her mouth, but they wouldn't align. She begged them to give her the actual dentures and they told her she had to pay out of pocket. She has tried to resolve the issue by even calling her insurance to speak with them about this issue and they don't care. This business scammed her out of the insurance money and now she can't get dentures for 5 years. My mom is elderly and now she's toothless without the properly fitted dentures and they have repeatedly made her leave their office in tears because they won't fulfill the service she paid for. I don't know how people that do business like this sleep at night. Knowing that they scammed an elderly, disabled woman out of her own teeth.

Fantastic experience: I suppose if a person must go see a dentist this place would do just fine’s. I saw a lady dentist and she very polite and professional and on top of that super good looking! The dentist assistant was so helpful and friendly , do wish I had her name, but don’t. It’s been some time since my last visit to a dentist and all the new technology they have today is wonderful. I had never experienced the modern x-ray equipment this dental office has. Truly I recommend Lush Dental to anyone that needs help with your toothies.

Fantastic experience: The folks here are friendly warm and helpful-work well together -this time I went in to get a cleaning- I did have to wait a while but they were short staffed and had a rush of folks needing urgent dental work but once they got me back they were quick and got me cleaned up and on my way- they stepped up there game to keep up with the demand and I appreciate it !

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shedrack Okojie and wife Perpetua are amazing and understanding. I have gone to Lush dental for work several times this year. My previous Dental Dr was rude to his staff and to be honest his work was not so great. I’m glad I made the switch and found Lush dental. I love the positive vibes being there. The staff and Dr get along so well! They talk to you like they appreciate you. Crystalynn was very informative and kept me calm. (I’m not sure this is how you spell her name) Overall great experience, I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Had a route canal fail while I was in town for work in January. The staff were courteous and able to see me on short notice. While they were not able to do the procedure, they were able to recommend me to an office not far. Highly recommend if youre looking!

Fantastic experience: I went in for the first time today, and I was very impressed! Dr. Okojie was very knowledgeable and did a thorough examination of my teeth and gave me options of treatment. The staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable; the office and treatment rooms are very clean and appropriately decorated. Negative experience: I went in today to have some things done including root canal and it was with the man Dr and I had the WORST experience and will say I don't ever want to go back, he was rude and expects you to have a extremely wide mouth that you can keep open for over 3 hours and not ever move and when you do he starts being rude, now I will say he then switched with the lady dr and it was a wayyyy different experience she was way more nice and friendly and i felt comfortable around her. If I did ever go back I will be requesting her only.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my visit today. It was my first time going to Lush Dental and im glad I chose them. I havent been to a dentist in years and I already knew I needed quite a bit of work done . Everyone there was nice and polite. The dental assistant was great, she did my x-rays etc.& I didn't feel like I needed to hide my mouth like some other places make you feel. I didnt feel like my mouth was being judged. I was as comfortable as I could be for someone who hasnt been in awhile . Dr. Okojie ,she came up with a whole treatment plan for my teeth & I really believe she recommended a treatment plan that will be best for me at the time. She explained everything I needed done, She seems like a very honest dentist who looks out for her clients best interest. I've never looked forward to going to a dentist untill now thankyou all. Front desk yall are awesome thankyou for mentioning the payment plan option. I was eligible and it really made it possible for me to afford the work I need .

Fantastic experience: I started going to Lush Dental probably about seven months ago. I fell and messed up my teeth. They have been gentle, sweet and very kind. Their staff in the front are nothing but helpful. They are a husband and wife team. I just love them not to mention I am a much older lady. I know good people and they certainly are.

Negative experience: Went back in May was given quote for replacement upper dentures then they filed it wrong with insurance so it was denied didn't take the time to call me. I finally called them and they told me it was denied. Then I called insurance and they said they filed the claim for new dentures not replacements. So after I got that straight I called them back and still they say they haven't heard back. Again called my insurance and they said they sent it. So they resent it on a fax. So after them saying they cut my teeth out and filed my insurance for that I was there and they didn't cut nothing out. And part of the tooth they claimed on still in there. So finally after 3 months I might get my dentures Monday. Unless they try and charge me more money. I wouldn't recommend anybody to lush dental. My husband needs his teeth fixed and we or going to find a different place for him to go.

Negative experience: It’s clean. But I waited 45 past my appointment time before I finally got seen. The cleaning felt half-*ssed compared to other times I’ve been here or other dentist offices. Will probably not come back.

Positive experience: Very efficient doctors. They also have a payment plan option which is extremely helpful. They don’t offer sedation for procedures but they do offer the numbing which also helps with pricing. Only four stars due to having a few procedures where my stitches I received actually came out by themselves before removal date.

Positive experience: Very nice office and people. It was a little loud for me. I ended up sneaking the remote to the tv in front of the chair and muting it.
