Fantastic experience: Saint Clair Tooth — Five Stars Aren’t Enough Now I get all the five-star reviews. You really have to experience St. Clair Tooth Co. as a patient and immerse yourself in the experience to understand why people rave about this place. From the moment you walk in, it feels like the red carpet is rolled out for you. It’s as though no one else exists except for you. The folks at the front are incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly. They immediately ask if you’d like something to drink, make sure you’re comfortable, and somehow put you completely at ease—which says a lot when you’re at the dentist! I had an examination/evaluation followed by a cleaning, and my dental hygienist, Jeanne (sorry if I misspelled), was phenomenal. Friendly, professional, gentle, and just an absolute pleasure. (Side note: she’s a native Detriotant so knows everything about this area—-thanks for the education) And Dr. Cassleman—wow! Extremely thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and one of those people whose passion for what she does is immediately obvious. She has a fantastic personality and genuinely cares about her patients. Personality + passion for patients + subject-matter expertise = one hell of a doctor. The person first, and then doctor second… The entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. There’s no place better. And, 100% transparency with fee schedule, you can clearly see every item and what you’re paying for as they breakdown each charge and expense to you. Thank you to everyone at St. Clair Tooth Co. for taking such great care of me. I’m genuinely glad I found you, and WE (my family) found you! And, shout out to my fellow Virginian—-thanks Michael!

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment for a teeth whitening (as a reward to myself for a health goal) and because I had a chip in a front tooth. I had a regular dentist but they did not offer whitening or cosmetic dentistry. The chip was easily handled and I was fitted for a bite guard. But I expressed concerns over teeth sensitivity before the whitening. Hailey (can’t say enough good things about Hailey!) took my concerns very seriously, and when the sensitivity was too strong, the team here had come up with a new regiment and solution to get me the results I wanted with comfort. I returned two weeks later and was told “we have a whole new plan for how to do this”. Tailored to me and my concerns, and I was a first time patient. They took that much care. I came to this place just for a whitening, and I ended up switching to them as primary dentists. They are kind, the office is comforting. They are thorough in satisfaction and the ease of communication through texts is noteworthy. I used reviews to find this place and would recommend to anyone!

The dentist was super nice and gave me a reasonable treatment plan. I was worried how everything would be since I have been with Dr. Kovalchik for 20 years. No concerns at all. Highly recommend.

From the moment you arrive, the office itself is a breath of fresh air and instantly makes you feel comfortable. Shauna is hands down the best hygienist out there—she is seriously one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She truly listens to you and talks with you, and trust me, there will be conversation throughout your entire appointment! Fantastic experience: I enjoy going the dentist. Who would actually say this? You would if you went to SCTC. The staff is stellar, the aesthetic is cool, the music is a little loud, and the dentist is fabulous. Plus, you get to support a sister-owned business.

Negative experience: Service and staff were great but not a fan of paying everything up front and waiting for reimbursement. Causes more work to then get reimbursed patient’s portion from HSA.

Fantastic experience: Every single time I come here, I feel welcomed and taken care of and I immediately know that I am in good hands. I am always hesitant to go to the dentist, and they have been nothing short of amazing with me!

Positive experience: They are very friendly and prompt. I was very upset that the initial person I set the appointment up with and showed me the cost estimate didn't inform me that they didn't take my insurance. They worded it that I have to pay up front but would be receiving reimbursement from my insurance. At the time they showed me the bill she said your insurance will pay 100 percent, so I proceded. They did not. They don't accept delta and for an exam and trays which is normally covered by a dentist that does take your insurance. My insurance paid $150 of the $300 bill. Lesson learned and I should have been more informed and verified they were in network instead of just taking the employee's word for it

Fantastic experience: The office is fresh and doesn't feel like a stuffy dentist office. Everyone is courteous and very friendly, they're always making me feel welcome. They do a great job making me feel comfortable before getting started with any procedure. The only downside is that based on my previous dental experience I always bring a book to read while I wait in the lobby. Unfortunately, they're so fast I never actually get to read much of my book. I only get a few paragraphs into a chapter before I'm walking back to sit in a chair. I don't get much time to read so was really looking forward to it.

It's been about 4 years since I saw the dentist, which isn't like me, I was always a 2x/year patient faithfully, but life happens. I made my first appointment with St. Clair Tooth Co. and was pleased to get scheduled within a week. The staff is friendly, the office is welcoming, my hygienist Michelle was excellent, and Dr. Cassleman is caring and thorough. I've never had such a comprehensive exam with explanation every step of the way. I wasn't shamed for my lapse in visits, instead I was treated as a valuable patient they wanted to take care of. I don't know when I had such a positive first time experience and would recommend St. Clair Tooth Co. to anyone in need of dental care.

I now don’t mind my appointments as much Shauna has cleaned my teeth a few times and it feels like hanging out with a friend when I go. She remembers details about me even though we only see each other twice a year! Clean, friendly and quick service each time I visit. They recommend services but aren’t pushy about it. Give them a try if you’re looking for new dental care.

Fantastic experience: Overall great experience! I was so excited to find a dentist who let me opt out of the fluoride treatment and had a fluoride-free toothpaste for my cleaning. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I’ve ever been too. On top of that — the most thorough and diligent. The environment is a friendly home-like environment that makes me look forward to my appointments every 6 months. Their team is highly experienced, personable yet still the most professional and the lovely ladies at the front desk are always on top of their game. I won’t go anywhere else even if I have to pay out of pocket. Updating to confirm this is still true. Dr. K is the best - I was having tooth sensitivity she looked in my mouth for probably 5-10 seconds and knew exactly where the problem was.

Fantastic experience: Making Signature Smiles my dentist was one of the best healthcare decisions I have made. Everyone here, including the dentist, the incredibly organized front office and my empathetic and expert dental hygienist Jean is spectacular. Booking, reminders and payments are incredibly organized and thorough. The care you receive is non judgemental and expert level. Negative experience: Do not go here! They will max out your insurance and overcharge you. It’s literally a dental factory where 4 different people will work on you and charge for everything they do. They try to seem special by offering water and have fun music on, but believe me you are paying for it. They said I needed 2 crowns to fix old fillings, 2 more fillings and a temporary mouth piece. They gave me one crown and the temp mouth piece and it cost $1500 after insurance. The crown was never right after 4 visits. I went to another dentist because Delta Dental was no longer accepted and had to pay upfront for everything and be reimbursed at the insurance rate. SCAM! The crown got infected because it had a crack in the tooth and had to be pulled, hence $1500 in the trash. The place may look special and friendly but it is a scam trying to take advantage of people. Plus never needed the 2 additional fillings they stated. Go somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: This may seem weird but here goes. What a fun place! It begins with the lively background music and continues to the super friendly and engaging Dr. Cassleman and her staff. Their equipment is state of the art - they make crowns on site in 1/2 hour or less and no more mouth impressions. They always follow up to see how I'm doing after a procedure. In my 80 years I've never looked forward to a dental appointment - until now.

Fantastic experience: My Dentist of 20 years Doctor Snyder, had retired and I really didn't want to go anywhere else. My previous Dentist Doctor Snyder referred all of her patients to Doctor K, and after my first visit today, I can see why. Doctor K, is excellent, I was put at ease from the door, her staff was very professional and polite, I was made to feel at home.
