Affordable Dentures & Implants

Negative experience: They were nice in the beginning. They were not informative on what would give me the best results.They let me keep making the 25 minute trip. To only ask for more money. Instead of telling me that I would get a better result if I waited 6 months. Then I had to pay $300.00 for soft lines .for 6 months. To be pushed to make a decision on implants or pay $170.00 every time I came in to get the soft lines. To pay $2,000.00 for dentures that don’t fit is crazy.

Negative experience: My initial consult I came in for was fine but the fact a couple minute consult turned into 40 minutes of waiting. I then had to leave and come back. Day of surgery came around when they take me back and get me set and say they will be back. I’m on sedatives so I fall asleep and my appointment was at 8am and when I woke up almost 11am. So I sat there for 2 hours when I walked in the door right when you open? If there is one doctor totally understand but maybe in the future display that to customers that pay a lot of money to get this kind of work done. I can schedule around someone telling me hey today may take a little longer. No instead last words I heard was be back shortly and woke up from a 2hour nap in the dark and no one telling me what’s going on. Not a good feeling or experience.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice enough! I have a severe fear of the dentist, but the entire team completely put me at ease. They truly listened to me every step of the way. Whenever I said something hurt or didn't feel right, they adjusted immediately.A huge thank you to Dr. Yasmin, Dr. Shealer, and the amazing young lady, Anaya. Negative experience: The dentist themselves was great but the process not so much. I informed that I moved hours away and if it was possible for me to come ealry and finish everything in one day. I was told yes. So I arrived 15 mins before my appointment and waited 30 mins past my original appointment to go back. I was in back for awhile and did not get everything completed and now I have to drive back to finish the treatment plan. Gas is not cheap and neither is time. Do better...

Positive experience: It is still early in my treatment and still have a little swelling and still have sutures in from my surgery. I was very nervous about the surgery procedure but I couldn't have been more pleased with the procedure. I was awake through the whole thing and didn't feel any pain. The staff and doctors are very courteous and professional and would recommend The Spring Hill,TN location to everyone and anyone out of town. If my treatment keeps going as well as it is, I will be giving a 5 star review at the end of my treatment. Their work is outstanding!

Negative experience: I am not one to give negative reviews, but these dentures do not fit. I’ve tried them with powder, liners, paste and all three together. They would not hold for more than 2-3 hours. Each time I try to chew on the left side, I bite my jaw. My gums were so sore I had go back to my old ones. I’m asking for a full refund.

Fantastic experience: I'm always nervous going to the dentist but I went yesterday to get an implant and Dr Malcolm to the time explain the procedure and answered all of my questions, he made sure I was numb and actually explained everything he was doing while he was doing it. That was really cool and made me relax, I felt no pain at all, like I said dental work makes me nervous but I was very pleased with the services I received yesterday.

Fantastic experience: We came in for full dentures. The staff was great. Helpful and gave us a awesome price. The care today was outstanding even 1 staff member went without lunch to make sure we were OK. That meant the world . So yes. I didn't take pictures but I'll update the review once the real dentures are put in. Thank you for everything and for dealing with all the stress and anxiety we had.

Negative experience: That place is way different now. The staff had definitely changed to new people. I haven’t been there in a couple of years due to insurance changes. So I did come back recently to get me some partial put in. I’m trying to like them but I can’t. There just not right at all. I did go back so they could adjust them or something. But it felt a little bit better or I thought. I still boil not eat with them. They still felt uncomfortable. I just won’t be coming back. How ever I will tell you this, the staff was was very nice and friendly. From the front desk workers to the back workers. Kudos to them!

Fantastic experience: Treated my father with the best care. Dr. Yasin is kind and compassionate and sensitive to people's individual needs and has (along w/ Ashley) done a great job restoring my father's smile. Anaya and Corrina took special care to ensure my father was ok when he got extractions, they both are patient and kind. Sindhu is a sweetheart that has a cheerful spirit. Heather always greets us with a smile and welcoming attitude. Morgan is kind and understanding, and helps to schedule appointment times that accomodate our time schedule. Very happy with this dental practice as a whole. They are all wonderful people, and are excellent at what they do.

Fantastic experience: Very patient with my laundry-list of questions. Dr. Shealer was kind, and he explained the details of the procedure. He wasn't rushed or bothered by questions. He shared his examination of the Xrays, and he worked with me on a solution that would work for my needs my health, my quality of life, and my budget. I have saught guidance from MANY other providers, and all others exceeded the limits of my wallet. He found an appropriate plan that seemed uniquely tailored to my needs. He knew what I needed, and he didn't try to upsell more expensive procedures. I feel relieved, and I look forward to moving on to healthier smile. Thanks! It's been a long search. I found where I'm landing. Check them out; you'll be glad you did, and the office staff is so welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable; they'll assist you through the entire process. I left their office today a happy patient.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with this location. I got the process started in Florida and moved to Tennessee. So glad that I did. I was not happy with the work done in Florida. But in Spring Hill, they really care and work hard on giving you a smile that you are proud of. Ive been struggling for years with my teeth. Now... I CAN SMILE AGAIN. The staff here have been wonderful and honest with me. Not to mention, cost efficent. Thank you Affordable Dentures Spring Hill, for your patience with me. I am overly particular and you came through for me!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff here were so great! I was terrified, but they gently danced my last tooth out when having all my teeth pulled. I was offered a soft blanket and dark glasses along with calming music because I get overstimulated with my schizophrenia. This was truly a great experience, even for me.

Negative experience: So far our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Our 90 year old mother has been back over and over for fittings on her teeth and still we are not even close to getting a good fit for her dentures. She came back for an extra surgery to remove some bone for a better fit and that hasn’t worked for her either. When we told them her top temporary’s fit good they wanted to use those as her permanent teeth but they are not built out of quality material like permanent teeth should be and we paid for everything up front so we should get what we paid for. They kept insisting that the teeth she liked was her permanent teeth until we brought both pair in to prove that they weren’t and yet still they want to use the teeth from the temporary set for her permanent teeth. Her bottom teeth have never fit right and when the owner/dentist looked at the first set of permanent teeth he immediately said they needed to remake both top and bottom but after three more visits we still don’t have a fit for top or bottom! We should have went to a regular dentist to start with but affordable dentures was recommended. I didn’t realize that the Spring Hill branch was one that seems to have a lot of issues. I do not recommend them at this point. I think I could actually make a mold to fit her mouth better than they have. I will update this post if we ever get a pair that actually fits from them. Their branches website shows no reviews yet but it does not allow you to put a review on there . We also had to pay cash before the dentures were made and sign a form saying the teeth were ok and size was correct even though we said they didn’t fit. They said we were only saying the actual teeth were acceptable for size and they looked good and the fit didn’t matter at that point we were just accepting that the teeth looked good and natural to us we did write our concerns on the form but we did sign it due to feeling like we were being pressured to sign it. They also do not answer the phones and lock their doors way early because we have went back right after appointments and the doors were locked. We were told if the dentist leaves they lock the doors. We have scheduled appointments with the owner dentist and when we get there for the appointment he does not show up and we get a different dentist, He was there but he did not come in to help with her. This whole staff has changed out for the third time during the time we have had these teeth made. We have never had the same assistants or dentist work on her teeth more than two visits. We are very unhappy at this point.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to give a huge Thank You to Dr Shealer for the beautiful 3D Dentures he designed for me. They actually look better than my original teeth! Everyone at Affordable Dentures have been super helpful with every procedure he has done for me, and I can’t express how thankful I am that Dr Shealer took time to listen to me and assisted me with getting my smile back, and now I can finally eat again! Anyone that is in need of any dental care-call and make an appointment, and get your smile back like I did, and be able to eat whatever you want… I feel like I got my life back and I’ve been able to put 10 lbs of weight back on (Lost 33 lbs) since having my teeth removed and 4 on 4 implants by another dental office (Franklin Tn) not… Affordable Dentures—and the dentist there-in my opinion( he did a Botched job) placing my implants as all the X-Rays and a CT scan show. It took me over 2 years to find Dr Shealer and get teeth that would stay in my mouth and I can finally eat now whatever I want. So I’m very thankful to Dr Shealer for accepting me as a new patient. I can’t thank you enough! He has 2 locations, Spring Hill Tn and Smyrna Tn * I hope this helps someone to not make the wrong decision when deciding on implants and or 3Ddentures (like I did) Go to the professionals @ Affordable Dentures

Negative experience: In previous year I would have given AD &I implants a glowing review. In the last year or so, the new owners have discontinued to support most dental plans, yet they refuse to remove those plans from their website. False advertising. All of their excellent dentists have quit and the front office is less than helpful or even polite. In the past week alone they have badgered me with numerous review requests, so I am obliging. Take your business elsewhere.

The staff also has been really great actually all the doctors here also. So if you're in need of dentures of any kind implants I have which they do have the state of the art equipment and knowledge to give you the best results and they don't rush. Fantastic experience: This my second encounter with Affordable Dentures & Implants (first encounter at a different location). The Spring Hill, TN practice exceeded my expectations, thoroughly explained ALL the steps, procedures and fees associated with my "new" lower plate and I could not be happier! I want to acknowledge and recognize a few of the staff - first up is Savannah (Front Desk) who did my schedules and worked with me to handle my dental insurance issues. Savannah was/is so "pleasant and professional" and has a "can do" trait that is refreshing! Next are two Dental Assistants - Olga and Hamza who worked on my plate adjustments and re-lining. Olga is a "master" of plate adjustments and she loves what she does (I asked her). Olga resolved a too tight plate issue and I walked out not hurting anymore!. Hamza is a young man who is working his way up the ranks to be a certified dentist. He was/is very "personable", caring and demonstrated superior customer skills! I hope that the corporate leadership reads this review as they are blessed to have these very special individuals on their staff! I vote a "raise" for Savannah, Olga and Hamza! Look no further than Affordable Dentures & implants - Spring Hill, TN location for quality dental appliances, reasonable pricing and exceptional patient care!!!

Fantastic experience: Let me just say, the staff here is INCREDIBLE! Everyone was so kind, caring, and made me feel so welcome! I’ve always been so terrified of going to the dentist, and because of that my teeth are in horrible condition. I’ve had horrible experiences in the past with other offices that made unnecessary comments to me about how bad my teeth were, and it really scarred me and pushed me away from ever going to one again. I finally just had to give in and go due to my rotten teeth making me sick, and being tired of not being able to smile comfortably. I decided to try this Affordable Dentures location in Spring Hill, because I saw they had pretty good reviews and seemed to have a kinder, gentler attitude towards people who are in a similar situation like me. Went in today for my consultation, and oh man am I glad I did. They were so AMAZING! The receptionist was so sweet, the dental assistant was very thorough in explaining my options, and my dentist was so kind and understanding. They made me a dental plan within the same day, and actually were able to stick to my very hard to work with budget! They went above and beyond for me today, and totally changed my perspective on going to the dentist. I’m so glad I found them, and can’t wait to get my dental plan on the roll with them. Thank you guys for being so awesome! ✨

As a patient whom has received extensive dental work and operations over my lifespan, I am certified to say this experience today was among the b-e-s-t. There are some soft skills that just can not be taught such as compassion, empathy, and most importantly patience. All three were actively demonstrated today across the board at a moment when I was experiencing intense pain. Thank you to Savannah for coordinating my "emergency" extractions today, for being both polite and professional over the phone with myself and my mother, for expediting the paperwork process, and for being friendly in person. You are truly an asset to the company! Thank you to the best Dental Assistant ever that assisted Dr. Shealer today. This gentleman is the perfect example of every aspect a Dental Assistant should embody. Even though it took a while to subside the pain from my infected tooth, he literally was waiting on me hand and foot. He would provide cups of water ensuring refills as needed, handed paper towels for me to dry my tears, encouraged me to take deep breaths, and all while maintaining professional but relatable at the same time. He was actively trying to do any and everything he possibly could to relieve the amount of stress and anxiety the pain was causing me to experience. It truly makes a world of difference as a patient when a Dental Assistant is able to truly relate with a patient, while also being confidently knowledgeable. What I mean by this exactly is that my particular Dental Assistant was able to provide friendly but meaningful conversation, especially upon completion when reviewing the "dos and do nots" of an extraction. He is an asset to this particular company, as well as a true leader among Dental Assistants. Last but not least, is a huge shout out to my dentist Dr. Shealer! Thank you for always demonstrating patience, explaining in detail what is happening as you are working, providing humor with information, and being accommodating as this particular tooth just could not wait until the originally set appointment. Negative experience: I have a fungal infection in my mouth after I got my dentures. After fighting it for 2 months it is still there. I requested a refund to my insurance company.
