I've been a patient since Dr. Casper opened his first office on Yankee Doodle Road, stayed when the pracice moved to Denmark Avenue, now visiting the NEW location Dr. Helgeson has chosen on Central Parkway! Ever since we chose Denmark Dental, I've shared that first Dr. Casper, and NOW Dr. Helgeson, Dr. Edstrom and Dr. Humbert treat every patient they have as though they were family! When work is needed, the options are discussed between the patient and the dentist; there is NO pressure to select a certain protocol; I trust their honesty and experience when it comes to a dental need! All the staff from front office to hygienists, to dental assistants are friendly and make all their patience feel comfortable, it is a good feeling to see friends again when checkups are needed. Great office for children through adults, it always feels like a super comfortable place to be for dental work... strange as that may sound!! The staff at Denmark Dental quickly makes everyone who walks through the door feel like friends. I would absolutely recommend Denmark Dental to any of my family or friends (and I have done that!)

Fantastic experience: Every time I have an appointment, I am so well welcomed. Everyone on the staff are so friendly, thoughtful and actually want to help. Sometimes I have to bring my kids with me and they love it, there is a kids play area and a cute puppy they let my kids to pet. I love the support and how I feel I can bring my kids anytime.

Fantastic experience: Danielle is an excellent hygienist. Dr Edstrom is also an excellent dentist. They both take the time to answer questions thoughtfully, and validate any concerns that I have. I have had some difficult experiences with dentists in the past but this group is top notch. I will not go anywhere else and drive much further than usual to see them. Having a trustworthy, skilled, and thoughtful dentist is priceless.

Fantastic experience: The staff there is awesome! Every dental assistant that i have had there knows what they are doing- and thoroughly but gently cleans your teeth, so you don't look like you were in a fight after spitting out blood lol. Dr. Helgeson is so knowledgeable and thorough. Spends a good amount of time with you after the cleaning to address any questions or concerns. Beautiful new building and office, love the pup there keeping people company.

She always made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointments and knowing I was a little nervous with some of the dental work in my first appointments she would reassure me with a gentle pressure to my shoulder/arm that all was well! What a gift! As a team Dr. Helgeson and Jenny are a well oiled machine! Jenny had this ability to anticipate the needs of Dr. Helgeson and my appointments would fly by with such efficiency! Fantastic experience: I've had two appointments so far and have been very impressed. When I walked in for only my second appointment I was already greeted by name which I really like! It makes me feel like I am a valued patient. The two hygienists that I've seen were super friendly and thorough in explaining everything that was being done. At my first appointment it was determined that I needed to have my first crown, but both the doctor and hygienist made sure that I was comfortable knowing why and how it would happen. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Doc Helgeson for a little over a decade now. The first time I met him, I was wearing a Halo because of a severe broken neck. Wouldn't you know, that 1 day after 3 weeks in the hospital, as my neck was healing, I needed a root canal! He worked around my Halo. He made me laugh and he fixed my tooth! After all these years, I not only consider him my Dentist, but my Friend! I also truly enjoy my visits with my regular hygienist Danielle. She always makes me comfortable and encourages me and gives me positive things about how I'm taking care of my teeth. And it is really special how she always asks me about my Mom! She is so genuine and I truly feel she cares. I'm not great with names but I should also mention what a wonderful clerical staff they have also! I always feel welcomed by name when I arrive with smiles. And helpful with bill paying and all the Icky stuff.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get a crown due to tooth pain, but first, they did a thorough and honest evaluation, which saved me from needing to do the crown. Explained all of my options, including cost to consider. I appreciated their integrity as they didn’t just proceed for their own financial gain. They are extremely friendly, timely, and professional. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental office. I had a lot of congenital issues with my mouth that they were able to fix. Before Denmark Dental, I was having trouble finding a dentist that I could trust because other dentists have made mistakes that have costed me significantly. I have been seeing Dr. Edstrom for a few years now and she has always made me feel comfortable and safe. She did my implant surgery which was very successful and now we are working on Invisalign and whitening. All of the staff here are super friendly and nice.

Positive experience: I recently had a mixed experience at Denmark Dental clinic, and while Dr. Edstorm herself is a nice dentist who ensures her patients are well taken care of, there was a particular incident that left me somewhat disappointed. During my visit for teeth impressions, I encountered a problem with the assistant who performed the procedure. It seemed that she may not have used the correct technique because I ended up with a few cuts on the lower part of my gums. As a result, I experienced discomfort for several days, making it difficult to eat or drink anything hot. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I didn't intend to make a big issue out of it. However, what bothered me was the response I received when I asked the assistant about any potential cuts during the process. I was spitting blood, and concerned about the situation, I sought clarification. To my surprise, the assistant blatantly denied the presence of any cuts, stating that my gums were merely irritated. It was evident to me, as I continued to spit blood repeatedly, that there were indeed cuts in my mouth. I found it disheartening that the assistant chose to lie instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering an apology. A simple apology would have sufficed, and I would have appreciated the honesty. On a more positive note, I want to highlight Danielle, the dental hygienist who regularly performs my cleanings. She is a sweetheart and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that the process is comfortable for me. I have always received exceptional care and attention from Danielle, and I highly appreciate her dedication to providing the best service. In conclusion, while Dr. Edstorm is a pleasant dentist who prioritizes patient well-being, my recent experience with the assistant and the inaccurate information provided regarding my cuts was disappointing. Nevertheless, Danielle's consistent professionalism and attentiveness have made my regular cleanings a positive and comfortable experience.

Fantastic experience: At Denmark Dental, all of the staff is very friendly & helpful. The hygienist patiently took time to answer my questions by showing examples in my mouth. Dr. Helge son develops a relationship with patients. Furthermore, they use state of the art equipment to make their patients most comfortable & to deliver detailed information & diagnoses.

Fantastic experience: Best. Dental. Office. Ever. You won't find one with better people. Everyone there is like family. I always look forward to visiting them! It's like a social event and I enjoy getting caught up with everyone. I just happen to have dental work done while I'm there. They are super-friendly, professional and do outstanding work. They bend over backwards to make sure you're comfortable and will never try to pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do or getting high priced procedures you don't need. I previously referred my wife (then girlfriend) to them and they welcomed her with open arms. It was like I was bringing a fianceé home to meet the family. They treated her like one of their own and she instantly felt at-home. She had been skeptical (before she went in) that they could be so nice, but after she got home, she said those three words I always love to hear...."You were right!" :) They will always have my business and you should give them a try too! You won't be sorry. Update 6/9/2023: I’ve been seeing the folks at Denmark Dental for MANY YEARS. My previous amazing hygienist, Laurinda who I’d been seeing for at least 20 years, retired. I loved seeing her and catching up on our families while she did great work! Since then, I’ve started seeing Amanda. She is also an absolute joy and really knows her stuff. She’s also very thorough and knowledgeable while being kind, caring, extremely personable. Dr. Helgeson is great, too! He’s super sharp and really knows his stuff. He has a very down-to-earth personality and will put you at ease. I would seriously have to move a long ways away before I’ll see anyone else…. I mean like a couple states away. They’re that good. :) Dave

Fantastic experience: I have had several Dentists over the years that made me feel terrible because I don't have the best teeth and maybe didn't take care of them as good as I should have. I actually left another Dentist to follow Dr. Edstrom because of how professional she is. The staff and Dr. Edstrom totally 100% get that going to the Dentist isn't my thing and that I am super uncomfortable when going. Tooth pain turns me into a hot mess and sometimes I get so worked up I am sweating and my hands get clammy. They get it and make me feel the most comfortable they can and the best thing is I don't feel threatened at all or embarrassed for having bad teeth which in turn I now have the best smile, teeth and bite I have had in my entire life. I used to have a wicked open bite which is now fixed. My front teeth look amazing and I love my smile more than ever. Overall while it's not my favorite thing to do the world they make it bearable and overall my quality of life has improved a million times. I would highly recommend going here and wouldn't go anywhere else. I especially recommend going here if your terrified of the Dentist. I have been to a ton around the Metro over the years and I plan on going here as long as I possibly can.
