Wes was a Godsend he’s very caring respectable kind comforting & explained in detail every aspect of my visit even I saw the dentist & my dentist(so sorry I can’t remember her name! But she was a BOSS for sure very professional but between her & Wes expertise, they made a very difficult extraction for me go smoothly comforting me along the way , making sure I was good & didn’t need anymore meds! Fantastic experience: I went to comfort @ Linwood & Main. I was greeted by Wes( my dental assistant) who was very personable courteous knowledgeable & explained every detail of what he wld be doing! Very helpful & respectful! Made sure I understand what he’d be doing n made sure I was comfortable! After he finished all X-rays he let me know Dr wld be in soon! She also very professional explaining my X-rays along with what we’d be today & in future! She used a gel that miraculously helped with the pain of the numbing process & when I was numbed she came in with another dentist(they told me their names & I apologize to them cause I can’t remember it); she did the 3 small fillings after Wes had finished my cleaning! When done with filing my 1st dentist came back & she did the extraction of my broken tooth with such expertise gentleness making sure I wasn’t feeling anything! Great job to all from when I arrived to when all my dental was finished = 20 star treatment Excellent service from making appt faster than I’ve ever been able to get one (called Mon & office was closed but the Ai still scheduled my appt for next day) & when I cldnt make it to Tues it was NO PROBLEM TO SWITCH TO WED That’s unheard of in the world of appt scheduling ok! Office was clean service fast & I only have one complete:: when I was done & was told to ck out & make my next appt; 1 desk was empty & the 2nd & 3rd ladies were speaking to a young man about something concerning their computer system! I stood there over 5 min & no one even said “We’ll be right with u r anything!” I got tired of waiting & being ignored when man seemed to be finished I said to both ladies “Ive been waiting & was supposed to make a 3 mon appt but I have to leave now!” She said oh ok that’s fine they’ll call u? How someone gon call me when I never gave my name r anything & it’s not like I was the only patient seem either! But otherwise still a great appt & service; I will b returning in 3 months

Negative experience: I get a cleaning every three months and usually everytime I go its a great experience. No pain. Yesterday was the first I left after a cleaning where my whole mouth was swollen and sore! The Nurse did an amazing job but the Dr whose name I didnt catch who barely said 2 words to me did some serious damage to my gums. In my opinion she should be a Dentist. My son who went with me was in shock at how much blood was in mouth!!! Again it was just a cleaning!!!! When I go again in 3 months if that same Dr comes to finish the cleaning I wont be letting her near my mouth!

Negative experience: This was the worst dentist experience ever. The hygienist didn't even floss my teeth throughly. She flossed a few then was done. She'd asked me if I wanted full check prior, or I want to focus on a certain area. I agreed with a full check up. So after the dentist went over my x-rays with me and glanced in my mouth... She said she seen two teeth maybe about to become cavities but, never check anything else and left. After the hygienist got finished polishing my teeth and flossed a few spots in between my teeth. I asked if she could have the dentist come back in, cause she didn't check my jaw, gums etc. So she did come back in and checked a few things. It just seemed rushed and not as a genuine dentist visit. If you pay your job for dental insurance and don't have state insurance. You should choose somewhere more ready to preform their job to keep your mouth hygiene nice and healthy... because this place doesn't do it from my experience!

Positive experience: I had an overall fine experience. My experience would have been better if the Dentist would have been more timely regarding my procedures. I had a very long wait time with no explanation. I had to inquire a couple of times about when the Dentist would proceed with my procedures. My procedure which was a tooth extraction went as well as possible considering tooth extractions cause anxiety. The Dentist was professional and answered all of my questions.

I was sick & rescheduled once for that & then, I had a 15-year-old cat with an urgent medical situation & I needed to reschedule again. Some places are NOT nice on the phone when you have to do this. I sensed no judgement from anyone at Comfort Dental & I appreciate that. Most importantly, my teeth look nice & shiny.

Fantastic experience: Affordable and accessible. Expect about 1.5-2 hours for your visit, but if you don’t have dental insurance, it’s a great option. All staff were friendly and helped answer questions!

Positive experience: I have used Comfort Dental for my teeth cleaning. I have no complaints. I have not experienced another dental need yet. My experience with cleaning have been good. I had three different assistants but they have all been through and gentle not rough. I hate when the assistants is not attentive and the water fills up in your mouth then runs down your face and neck. Yuck. I have not had that happen here. Efficient and friendly service. And the dentist checks at the end to make sure they have completed the task and there are no other issues.

Finally a family member offered to pay for it if I found somewhere to do it reasonably priced. Well I found out they would take the insurance I had and it didn't cost me a dime. If you have no insurance they're willing to work with you and I got top notch Dental Care here and I'm a physician. I'm a physician with very high standards I used to train other doctors. You can trust these individuals they're reasonable flight and affordable

I know it's not always going to be that way, but it's awesome that I was able to get in so quickly. The staff were very friendly, Wes was great to talk to, along with Dr. Osei-Fosu, she was very informative, easy to talk to, and I felt heard. Fantastic experience: sent my husband with my medical card. United healthcare they seems to have a hard time looking up United healthcare dental. I would've thought they have my member id to look my benefits up. I had to look up the dental number for them. Remind you United healthcare signs everywhere in there. Why they didn't have United healthcare dental number is crazy. Some dental office are really all for the sales.

Negative experience: Even though my appointment was fine I experienced a horrible display of humanity from the two receptionist. Although they were efficient and polite the lack of empathy of an elder woman with a walker. The worst example of customer service of simple caring. Just heartless how they treated that old lady. Thay hurt my heart and I will not be able to forget it ever again.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Johnson is perhaps one of the most kind and “down to eart” providers in the dental field, if not the entire medical field, I have ever met. She willingly without prompting helped explain the current state of my teeth, and specifically how to care for areas I had been unintentionally neglecting. She nor the other staff there were not gum diggers who caused me to bleed out and have low hemoglobin resulting in the need for a blood transfusion (yes that is a story for another day) but instead we’re very gential. There is some bleeding but that’s my fault so I won’t put that on them. Anyway I am getting ahead of myself. This overall was a fantastic experience, that has completely and radically revolutionized my view of the dental field. I did not feel like these were penny pinchers who would pull a tooth to make a buck. But rather wanted to know “who is bennycriss12 anyway?” And “does he really floss or is he just playing us?” It was a very personal experience and they said I could watch a cavity rather then “let’s take the sucker out” which was just fantastic. Anyway I’ll definitely be going back. Very ethical. 10/10.

Positive experience: I got multiple fillings today and the first dentist did amazing and was very kind and attentive as well as her assistant. The shots did not hurt AT ALL. I was very surprised by that. But the second dentist who did the filling part was good, my only complaint was that she did actually hit my gum with the drill on accident and after she shaped the fillings there are still a couple rough edges and some of it I think went on the outside of the tooth where it didn’t really belong. it did end up coming off later and isn’t sharp or bothering me anymore and she did give me a special mouthwash to help clean and heal the spot on my gums. Overall it was a really good experience, I haven’t been to the dentist in YEARS because I was afraid of getting my cavities filled due to a bad experience as a child. But they really helped me get over that with everything being virtually painless. I also got in VERY quick it took only a week or less for my initial appointment and less than a week for the fillings and every other office I had called in the kc area had waits between 1 and 3 months just to do the eval.
