Fantastic experience: Such a great staff! Nice and explained everything well. Im really happy to have found this clinic.

Negative experience: Absolutely disrespectful front desk receptionist (Darlene). As soon as I made a comment about her tone and the way she was speaking she started talking over me and albeit in a very snarky tone. I am pregnant, being so, needing to get in at a sooner time. She does not know how to speak to customers with efficiency or kindness. Passed me off to her superior (Anna) who was able to get me in at a reasonable time within the framework I needed. Bless Anna, Darlene needs to take a step down from this line of work.

Fantastic experience: A quick shout-out to Dental Hygienist, Nakisa, who did an outstanding job on my deep-cleanings. Very few can do this well and maintain a light touch. I walked out without pain or swelling. In summary, Dr. Matzelle is seriously the best dentist I have found in decades of looking. --Good to know he has a great team.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I've ever gone to hands down...these are my peoples ..u need a good banker,priest, doctor,accountant and dentist thru life .....I will never go anywhere else ..if you are going elsewhere then ur missing out

Negative experience: i was in today waiting to get a tooth filled when i overhead the receptionist get a call. After the call, she started to mimic what the caller had said to her in a snarky tone to the other receptionist. love the dentist guy but definitely wouldn’t come for a friendly receptionist.

Fantastic experience: I really adore this office and staff. I’ve been with them since the pandemic and can trust them to take care of me. I’ve had several cavities and sensitivity after getting the fillings and they listened and corrected any problems. Nikisa is my favorite dental hygienist. She is SO gentle and takes her time, every time I leave a cleaning I can see and FEEL the difference. Thank you so much to all the staff. I love my dentist office.

Negative experience: Today was my second appointment, and I'm highly doubtful I will be returning. All I needed was wisdom tooth removal, that appointment was a month and a half ago now. At the initial appointment there was only one dr in the office, the rest were on their month long vacations, according to the hygienist. After the check up it was noted that I had a few tiny cavities. The Dr herself said the biggest concern was that all of my wisdom teeth are impacted (sideways) and needed to come out before they cause more dental issues; and that the office would contact me within the week to schedule my operation. Two weeks ago by, I'm still in pain and have heard nothing. So I call to ask for an update since I was told I'd know a week prior. I'm cut off by the receptionist who says "Well, you were just seen 2 weeks ago." Again, I try to explain the situation, and I'm told they can not schedule my tooth extractions until they've dealt with my cavities, which again are minimal. But the Dr to do the fillings hadn't put out her schedule for Aug or Sept because she was on vacation, so I couldn't be scheduled with anyone else. It was around Aug 12th at this point. I'm trying to communicate with her that Im not concerned about that, I'm concerned about the tooth extraction, that I was told was most important. Mind you, she's cutting me off every 2 words for the entirety of the phone call. She then tells me that the oral surgeons are, also conviently all on vacation, so I'd have to be scheduled out a month to Sept 8th. I said awesome, thank you so much. Just wanting to be out of pain and was hoping the rest would be smooth sailing.... I was wrong. Last Monday I get my appointment confirmation text, I go ahead and confirm it. The very next day, I received another appointment confirmation, for the same date 30 mins later. I don't confirm it, assuming maybe she had accidentally scheduled me in two slots or possibly system issues. Due to work hours, I couldn't reach out immediately, so I call the office 2 days later to figure out what time to be at the office so I don't miss my appointment due to the confusion. The receptionist today tells me "Oh yeah, that's because the rescheduled you, you actually should've also immediately received a phone call." Which I hadn't, so I let her know. I then confirm the time, and that the appointment is at the Beaverton location of the same name. I'm told yes, correct. Last night I'm trying to look up today's dental beaverton for directions, nothing under that name is coming up. So I figure I'll just call when they open and get the address, not a problem. I call, and come to find out I was never scheduled at Beaverton. And there was no answer to why 2 employees had given me that information. Annoying, but whatever, everything is cool. I go to my appointment, before I have even had a chance to sit down the Dr says "We may or may not be doing something today" I tried to hide my irritation, and he continues to tell me the ladies up front are constantly scheduling him for extractions he's not qualified to do. I sit in the seat for all of about 30 seconds before the Dr tells me "We're gonna have to refer you to Beaverton. Wait for them to call you later this week to schedule" I can't afford to just keep missing work because they haven't figured out how to correctly do their jobs.

Fantastic experience: Took such great care of my mama. And set up a plan after she moved from her Dentist of 50 years

Fantastic experience: First visit and exams were a positive experience. The dentist was clearly in a rush and had somewhere to be and I was the last appointment of the day, but she still took the time to listen to my concerns and give elaborate answers to all my questions. The rest of the staff were all genuine, helpful people. Working with OHP is as much of a headache for providers as it is for the rest of us, and any office that still remembers to treat patients with care, compassion and understanding, especially while being as transparent as this office is with the reasons behind why they do things, is becoming a rarity.

Fantastic experience: I'm going through the process of getting dentures, I have my new teeth and the dentist has been great at explaining how the process works. I had all of my teeth pulled, molds made, picked the color of my teeth, and now I have a beautiful smile. I would recommend them to anyone searching for that guy that makes you feel at ease, and is very skilled at his craft. Thanks Doc

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service. Cracked a tooth at 9AM today, called in for an emergency appointment, and was home by 1 in the afternoon with a full repair, absolutely seamlessly blends in. Everyone there was friendly, straightforward, and answered the various "dumb questions" I had for every step of the process. Definitely going to go here from now on.

Fantastic experience: The Dr. Was awesome. I had a denture he made a minor adj. And I was fine. Then I came in to have a cleaning, and the staff,dentist were very kind and caring during the cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I would like to profusely thank Dr. Eric Matzelle for doing a wonderful job taking out my impacted wisdom tooth that was giving me pretty intense pain. I was so scared to get it removed, but he made me feel comforted and safe, and completely numbed the area, so I didn’t feel a thing! I was genuinely shocked at how quick and easy the process was. I highly recommend him. Also, shoutout to Darlene at the front desk who was so kind, understanding, helpful, and went above and beyond securing me a spot the day of! Thank you so much.

Negative experience: I'm not sure how this dentist office has such a high rating, my partner had an exact opposite experience here. So, we set up an appointment and my partner went in for a dental checkup. The dentist immediately told my partner that they had 6 cavities that all needed to be filled! So, my partner set up a follow-up visit to begin this process. After the first filling, my partner had tooth pain in teeth near the filling (never had tooth pain before), and after a few days with it not going away, went back in and the dentist fixed what was a not-correct filling. Then the dentist did another filling, and my partner started getting cold sensitivity after this second filling, and could also feel that the filling didn't seem to fully...fill? After this second issue, we looked elsewhere for a dentist to get a second opinion and to have a new dentist take a look at the fillings that felt improperly done. The new dentist took x-rays and checked the teeth and informed us that my partner DOESN'T have any other cavities, possibly some stains from tea drinking, but NOT cavities. And the second dentist also confirmed that the fillings appear to be improperly done. So now we are working with a second dentist to fix the issues caused by this dentist. We are uncertain if this dentist mistakenly took tea stains as cavities, or if they were trying to get more money from insurance by doing extra work (e.g. fillings) that was not needed. Neither of those options is good.

Negative experience: Dentist had terrible and uncommunicative workings. They didn't even tell me I needed fillings until they were mid numbing me. And when they did do fillings they did them badly. I am having to pay thousands of dollars to fix their work now. They told.me I needed fillings that my new dentist says I don't need.... What a terrible dentist. Don't go here

Fantastic experience: Nakisa was my hygienist, and she has an excellent bedside manner during the cleaning, as well as being knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient during the process.

Negative experience: today was my son's first dentist appointment , we arrived early for paperwork and he was on best behavior! while filling out paper work the woman at the front desk greeted two Hispanic women and began speaking loudly to them because they were having trouble communicating what they needed and she did not understand- the fact that they have NO one to assist in that is not acceptable ! and not to mention that they were treated very poorly ! then she began to gossip on how the Beaverton location sent a client for a filling as they were booked out and this is "unacceptable" she was incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL! my son and i waited for 45 minutes ( my son is not even two so you can imagine after the first 20min how this was going!)and NEVER saw a dentist so we just left and are now going else where! i chose this place for the good reviews and location but was sadly let down! they need to DO BETTER!

Negative experience: The website said they took in anyone having a dental emergency, I called and was denied by the rude lady on the phone.

Fantastic experience: I was in and out with 16 teeth extracted in about 90 minutes. I've had horrible dental visits before, but never here. They really make you feel heard and safe. If I could give them 10 Stars it still wouldn't be a strong enough rating.

Negative experience: I don’t like anyone trying to bully me into doing anything

Negative experience: Refused to make me an appointment I wanted to make a 6 month appointment and they said they won't and I'll have to wait 10 plus months between cleanings(over phone) Very rude front desk, was asking questions and she had a terrible attitude(in person). Negative experience: Front staff and assistants were kind and professional. However the dentist was 100% horrifically incompetent and tore my mouth to pieces. Provided dentures that didn’t fit therefore I couldn’t eat and lost 40 pounds. He said that I would get used to them and there was nothing else he could do. Turned into a total nightmare. Don’t ever consider this “dentist” to care for any of your dental needs.

Negative experience: Don’t come here for dental work and get your teeth cleaned. The hygienist used to much water when she was cleaning my teeth! She didn’t enough clean my teeth, when I went to the new dentist , wanted to know why my teeth hasn’t been cleaned! Don’t go hear! Trust me

Negative experience: January 2023: Rude. Definitely won't see them today. More like, 2 months away for an appointment dental. March 2023: had an appointment set up for this week and they must of seen my previous comment and cancelled it. That was your chance to get a better review from me.

Positive experience: Absolutely wonderful dentist. Music and a couple of the staff are a bit loud otherwise great service.

Fantastic experience: After suffering with a broken wisdom tooth for a little over four weeks, this dental clinic didn't just examine me and send me away, they actually helped me. The pain I experienced was worst than the pain I had while in labor with my children. I was told not to expect anything to be done on the same day. But, I was pleasantly surprised and the "offending member" was removed. I just want to express my gratitude to this doctor and his staff! Thank you all so so much!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. The front desk was very positive and helpful. The receptionist saw a handicapped person coming to the door and ran to help her in the door and seated. My x-rays done promptly and Dr in shortly. Everyone very positive.

Fantastic experience: Dr Matzelle was great. Very friendly, confirmed the issue and fixed it right on the spot. Made sure I was nice and numb, and that I felt no pain. Shook my hand and looked me in the eyes when we talked. He didn't make It seem like he was ready to just jump to the next person or that I was patient number 30 or something. He was professional and has great "bedside manner". If you're like me and had nothing but bad experiences with the dentist.... this place will put your worries to rest. Once you get in and meet everyone. You'll feel like, okay this is where I'm going to be going from now on. Like when your favorite whatever place it is, you like their service and what they provide. Scheduling- it's only Mondays and Fridays is what I was told. I wasn't scheduled for another week but I called in to see if I could book out. They had let me know if I could make it in the next hour I could come in a week early. So that was awesome they actually offered. Something to think about if you're scheduled out and live near by. Yeah Staffing was great though and I liked their dental assistant, she was great too.

Positive experience: Dr. Was amazing very nice and did a full exam and x-rays even though the receptionist didn’t schedule my appointment correctly. Receptionists could use a lesson on customer service and friendliness.

Negative experience: The front desk messed up my appointments three times. I came in once and the desk said I had no appointment that day. I then get a call saying I missed my appointment. They have a two or three no show/call policy. This happened three times. I also got no pain meds for a tooth they removed. I will never go back and I will tell other people the same thing.

Today's Dental made me feel comfortable from day one and they have now been my dentist for over 2 years and counting. My hygienist is the best, always reassuring me and walking me through each appointment step by step.

Fantastic experience: I had a horrible previous experience with another "Big box" dentist. It took me over a year to get the courage to have my dental work fixed. From the first day at Today's Dental and all my follow-up visits, the staff and dentist were fantastic. The end result was a set of dentures that fit, and I can finally chew food again! I wish I'd have seen him in the first place!

Fantastic experience: I recently changed from my long-term dentist due to not having the income I used to have. I've been extremely happy with Today's Dental. The staff is friendly. My visit was nothing but positive. They had to cancel my appointment due to snow last week and then opened up the office on their regular day off to get those of us who were cancelled taken care off. Dr. Smith the Dental assistants and staff were very friendly, helpful and had a genuine concern, not just about your Dental Health but your overall health too! I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: The practice is in an office that is welcoming and pleasant. The waiting area was fairly comfortable and we didn't have a long wait. The staff were friendly and did what they could to make my anxious kiddo feel safe. Since this is the only dentist we can see with our insurance, I'm very relieved that it feels like a safe, compassionate place for my family to receive dental care. I don't feel the kind of dread I have in the past about scheduling appointments. Finally!

Positive experience: I have had three visits at this clinic so far. The doctors are kind and friendly. The hygienists seemed rushed and impersonal, but got the job done. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room and they were pretty prompt once back in the dental chair as well. The clinic is very booked so scheduling appointments are several months out. Fillings are 6 months out. The part that leaves me anxious and uncomfortable is the people at the front desk. Each time I have been here they seem very stressed. They are snippy with how they speak to patients on the phone. They wear their frustration and stress. They seem inadequate for a fast paced dental clinic. This creates a very uncomfortable environment for the patient. I end up also feeling anxiety and stress when I am near them or have to interact with them.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very kind and professional. I brought my daughter with special needs and she was very comfortable. The Dr. was very caring and attentive to all of our concerns. I would highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: Ive been scared for years to go to the dentist and never wanted to go. But everyone here literally the whole entire staff makes you instantly feel like you’re family and comfortable as much as possible and even the way the place is just makes you feel more at home as opposed to a dentist office. So far I’ve just gotten deep cleaning done and honestly best hygienist ever. I was terrified and she really know what she is doing because I didn’t feel a thing at all and now I am super happy because my teeth has never been this clean and I’ve had no pain even after the numbing wore off. Ive been talking about this place for days now and I definitely will be bringing my kids here as well in the future. Because of this place I’m slowly starting to feel more confident about my smile and I’m finally getting things fixed and soon I’ll actually be able to smile without being afraid.

Negative experience: The staff where friendly but my daughter is 2yrs old took her for her very first appointment i needed to change her diaper they have no changing table ,no toilet seat covers i wish they could have a room especially for little patients it was boring and old building i might have to find a pediatric clinic instead

Negative experience: Teeth still sensitive for more than 5 weeks since procedure. Had to come in several times to fix my bite as it caused me a constant headache. Mix up with insurance. This has been a nightmare.

Negative experience: Called today to make an appointment due to having extreme tooth pain. The receptionist immediately cut me off after explaining I'd be a new patient. Said we have no doctor in today and we are booked far out. Leaving me with no options. She Then asked what are you trying to be seen for? I said im currently 17 weeks pregnant & my tooth is cracked and I'm in extreme pain. She said we have no doctor in today. I said you don't have another sister clinic or can you recommend another? She said you medical should have give you a list of clinics. I said never mind and ended call. Receptionist was extremely short, rude not helpful at all. I will gladly take my business else where. This was just trying to book an appointment let alone being there patient. No thanks.
