Negative experience: Mt laurel office they moved from this office because someone ran into the Lindenwold building….This place is the absolute worst had an appt maybe a month ago the assistant which was female at first was so rough with the X-rays was cutting my gums. Then she yells in the hall to another assistant “hey let me know when my patient is coming”. Patient comes she stops in the middle of taking X-rays another assistant comes to continue the X-rays (male). Mind you my back is to the door and there is all this commotion behind my head people talking, walking down the hall very distracting.. So he finishes up soon as the Dentist walks in Dr Yang? Idk he was of Asian decent the assistant says “multiple missing teeth” which I though was rude. Dr exams and say “she dose t have that many missing. He begins to clean he was fast and rough, didn’t ask of hx or anything the water hose flops out my mouth water splashes everywhere, no sorry or anything just kept cleaning. He jumps up the assistant says wht about the cavity the doctor says “she has none” she just need dentures like whats?! And I could clearly see the assistant pointing to my cavity on the xray.. Smh needles to say i couldn’t wait to get outta there made me a an appointment with my original dentist at CAM-CARE ON FERRY AVE THIS LADY IS WONDERFUL. Needless to say I just got a cleaning and an appt to have my cavity filled.. SMH! if you want a rush job and a dentist who clearly doesn’t read X-rays this is your place..

The staff is what makes all the difference, they are so friendly and inviting. They make you feel like you are somewhere surrounded by friends and family with how caring and down to earth they are. Dr Jhulka spends enough time with his patients and explains very honestly what work needs to be done in layman’s language. He is very smart and really good with his hands. Have been going to him for years and would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Positive experience: I have a severe phobia of needles, which is ironic since I'm in medical. I also don't do well with mouth pain and have a pretty big fear of dentists as a result. However the Doctor and his staff made this a very pleasant experience. He was gentle and I felt nothing after he numbed my gums with Gel. I was very happy with the work. My only issue is that one of my three fillings cracked off two hours after I got home. I don't think this is the Doctors fault but the location of the filling. It's in a precarious spot and I'll be calling them in the morning about it. I'm sure it's an easy fix and I'll be returning for my other fillings later this month. But needless to say the Doc and his staff are excellent. I'll likely change this to a five star rating once my filling issue is addressed. - Kayla Arold

Negative experience: I walked in and Danny was sitting on the phone I was standing in front of her for 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. She then asked my name and told me to sit down, didn’t ask me anything further questions and didn’t even bother to tell me how long I would be waiting either. I came to get a simple xray and I wasn’t even seen because after sitting and waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes with no further acknowledgment is crazy!! After 25 minutes I walked up to the desk and asked how much longer, Danny then proceeded with her personal phone call and said 5 more minutes, I waited 10 and still wasn’t seen. When I walked out I got a phone call 2 minutes later saying I never showed for my appointment when I was there waiting for 30 minutes!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely amazing experience at Perfect Smiles. Dr. Julka and his team were incredible. I came in with a swollen face from an incredibly painful tooth that was infected and overdue for a root canal, and they not only took care of my root canal without basically any pain, but they also did some fillings for me as well in a timely manner. Dr. Julka took the time to explain everything to me. I am bringing my daughter here also from now on. I truly and genuinely highly recommend Perfect Smiles!!

I went in for a broken tooth and they helped me understand my problem, along with giving me the proper references to reach out to the proper endodontist that I need. He listens to your fears/ concerns and makes you feel comfortable/ welcomed. They were able to make my appointment within a day of calling and are able to start work within the week. Negative experience: Dr. Maneesh Julka is the most unprofessional provider I have ever met with. He is extremely rude and aggressive. He pushed on my teeth very hard and aggressively, causing me pain just because I don’t bite down on my back teeth. He will talk over you and won’t listen to your prior dental experiences when you’re simply trying to catch him up to speed on what has been down to your teeth this far. He will tell you you are wrong when all you’re doing is explaining your dental history. Your dental history can’t be wrong so he doesn’t even make sense. He will tell you your mouth is deformed and you won’t be able to get any jobs because of it when you simple just don’t have a correct bite. He was yelling at me and putting his finger in my face as if he was my father. He will tell you you are too young to give your dental history as if that makes any sense. He will belittle you as if you can have no prior knowledge of what has gone on with your mouth just because you don’t have a degree. He will talk over you each time you tryna to speak. Then when you defend yourself he will gaslight you into thinking you’re the rude one. The rest of the staff is great and polite. Dr. Maneesh Julka must’ve skipped the patient care portion of school. He thinks the “Dr.” prefix makes him a god. far from it! Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and just go the extra step of calling your insurance to find a better, more caring provider. Dr. Maneesh Julka does not care about his patients and holds himself above everyone who doesn’t have Dr. in front of their name.
