In less than an hour they X-rayed, removed the threaded portion of the broken screw, identified the replacement screw, reinstalled the crown and I was on my way home -without breaking the bank. Fantastic experience: Dr. Meltzer puts you at ease,and allays all your fears. The oral surgeon I saw in Monmouth county wanted to put me under anesthesia which I was opposed to. Dr. Meltzer was able to do procedure sans anesthesia. So traveling to Cherry Hill from Monmouth County, was well worth the trip. Kudos to Dr. Alan Meltzer!

Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Meltzer approximately 15 years ago when he did my first tooth inplant. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure I was aware of every step of the procedure. He drew diagrams of what I should expect. Dr. Meltzer told me he would make the procedure as painless as possible. True to his word, I did not have the anxiety and fear of going through a painful experience. He is very skilled and professional of the work that he does. Which is why when my new dentist discovered I had a tooth that was cracked under the gum, would need to be pulled, get a denture or an inplant, and was going to refer me to someone I didn't know, I requested Dr. Meltzer, based on my past experience. I have not been disappointed and I have received the same professionalism from him and his staff as before. Negative experience: Incompetent scammer who relies on self-promotion and fear tactics. Went to him for a problem I was having with one of my implants. He assured me at 90%+ confidence he could fix it with a $5k surgical graft procedure. He also wanted to do my second implant which I never had any problems with. The recovery was very annoying and it didn't solve my problem. He made the prognosis sound very grim, recommending I remove the implants entirely. He said we could do the graft procedure one more time if I wanted, and he emphasized that he wouldn't charge me for it this time around. I admired this actually, but held off as I was traveling soon. A few months later I came back and told him I was ready.... And he quotes me the same $5k price! He claims he never said he wouldn't charge and his notes from that day were ambiguous ("discuss charge if necessary"). What a weasel. Ultimately I ended up going to a different periodontist who fixed the problem using a laser technique that Meltzer had never mentioned to me as a possibility. It was much cheaper and my implant is fine now.

Fantastic experience: Getting a dental implant, let alone for a front tooth as a 21 year old is never an ideal situation. Dr. Meltzer was amazing! It was a long process , but he made sure we took the time necessary to ensure the best possible outcome. Fast forward 25 years, I no longer live in NJ and the crown for the implant breaks. Dr. Meltzer immediately communicated with my current dentist to ensure he knew the type of implant that was used and to help him trouble shoot an issue we encountered to make replacing the crown as easy as possible. I could not be more thankful for such a great group of people that went above and beyond to continue to help me all these years later. I couldn't recommend Dr. Meltzer and the staff more.
