Negative experience: THESE FOLKS ARE LIERS!! DO NOT GO EVER!!!. This dentist lied and said my wife needed cavities filled (SHE HAD NO CAVITIES). She couldn't do it that day and ended up taking the x rays she got there to a famiky dentist in Sharon. She went anticipating getting cavities filled and the dentist looked at the x rays from Dr Dental, then took her yearly x rays and was told she had no cavities. DR. dental was faking cavities add fillings to perfect teeth. DO NOT TRUST THEM EVER!!!

Negative experience: Be very careful with this place. I see there are a lot of good reviews but from my experience the negative one deserve some credence. I went to Dr. Dental because of a toothache. The dentist I planned to see for it wasn't available until after the holidays so I needed to find someone else. A family member told me that Dr. Dental accepts my insurance (masshealth). I decided to give them a try. I got an appointment quickly. All seemed well until I got the new patient forms. They sent it by text which is annoying for someone who constantly clicks the wrong letters on a phone. More frustrating was that there was no obvious way to fill in the year of birth other than scrolling back on a calendar month by month starting from the current year. One of the forms wasn't one I could complete. It wanted driver's license information. I don't drive. I use my passport as an id. When I arrived for my appointment, they made me refill everything by hand because I didn't complete the driver's license portion of the forms. Even though I arrived 10 minutes early, I was taken in 20 minutes late. Between my back issues and the waiting room chairs being uncomfortable, it felt like an eternity. While I waited, a man in dirty, ripped clothes entered the office. He swore on his phone then he went to the front desk to casually chat to the receptionist. At points he dropped more swears. He seemed to have issues keeping still in his chair, which made me more uneasy when the receptionist repeatedly left her desk. During the wait, an ambulance pulled up to take a patient. It might have explained the delay, but it didn't inspire confidence. When I was finally taken for my appointment, I saw other reviewers meant about the office being dirty. It wasn't as sterile and tidy looking as other dentist offices. The walls look like they needed a paint job. Some of the objects in the room looked old or like they needed to be wiped down. Some of the items on table tops looked cluttered. The dental assistant seemed like a sweet person. She did what one would expect of her position. She asked me what was wrong and took my x-rays, although one of the images kept coming out bad so she had to redo it three times. Very shortly after she finished, the dentist entered. He didn't once look into my mouth. He told me he saw nothing wrong with my x-rays and seemed to doubt that I was having any issues. I had to explain to him what I already explained twice in my patient forms and once to the assistant. Once again, without looking in my mouth, he gave me his opinion. He told me I had a crack inside my tooth that was invisible to x-rays and that I needed to see a specialist who he could personally recommend. He insisted that I needed a crown and root canal. It wasn't a question if it was what I needed. The way he said it suggested that would definitely be the treatment I would get. What was most alarming was that he kept saying I had to see an "orthodontist". Endodontists are the ones who deal with cracked teeth and root canals, but this doctor said "orthodontist" four times. I just left without taking the referral. After my appointment I did some research. There were other, less severe causes that were more in line with my symptoms. Notably my medications and eating habits matched up with what medical websites said could cause weak enamel. I've heard that dentists scamming patients by wrecking their teeth with unnecessary procedures was an under reported crime. Dentists make more money through crowns than from less invasive treatments. I'm almost positive just from this visit that Dr. Dental gets money from referrals for these procedures. If you go to this place be very careful. Also, be aware that it seems when people write bad google reviews about them that they often claim that the person isn't in their system. My google account uses my nickname which is what everyone calls me. Not my insurance name which I used for my appointment. Also they may just be covering their business practices by discrediting reviews from patients who weren't happy with them.

Positive experience: There were good and bad aspects to my recent visit. I waited 30+ minutes before being seated in the dental chair. The given reasons for the delay were “short-staffed”. If that is the reason, perhaps less patients should be booked. My reason for the visit was a loose bridge. I asked if it could simply be removed and re-cemented but was told no, that I would have to have a new bridge created which I know would be very costly. Luckily, while the dentist was poking around, the bridge just came loose and was eventually re-cemented. The work the dentist did was excellent. My frustration was with the wait and the original diagnosis. It felt like profit was an underlying reason.

Fantastic experience: My visit with Dr. Setvanovic she was very pleasant and made me feel welcomed. I look forward to my next visit.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE! Truly awful experience. I feel like I’m treated like garbage by doctors since I’ve had MassHealth, idk if that was the dr’s issue, but the entire place is a HEALTH HAZARD. The assistant WASNT WEARING GLOVES when she was getting the equipment ready. I waited for half an hour just so the doctor—who didn’t introduce himself so idk his name—can peak and my mouth for two seconds the very haphazardly “cleaned” my teeth. No mouth wash. The cleaning lasted all of five minutes and he stored out without a word. Before all this, when I told him it had been over a decade since I’ve been to the dentist he said “wow, you couldn’t take the initiative?” So I’m absolutely not coming back and this place should be reported. The office itself was filthy. If I don’t get staff it will be a miracle.

Positive experience: The place was will designed and large cubs and the nurse or special tech was very helpful and kind and professional

Negative experience: I booked an appointment because of the jaw pain I was having. My appointment was at 11:00am. When I came in there was no one at the desk for 10 minutes. Nicole was super friendly. However I wasn’t seen until 11:30am. I get back there and I didn’t leave until 12:30 for them to tell me I need to schedule an appointment with the specialist to take out both wisdom teeth. I come back the next day my appointment was at 12:30 I didn’t get seen until almost 1:00pm. They do a rescan of my teeth and then the doctor comes in and says those aren’t her teeth scans cuz she has an extra tooth underneath she needs a full head scan to see how I’m going to take it out. If you book here make sure you have all the time to wait. Waste of time!

Negative experience: I now have to find a new dentist and have an open tooth because of the ignorance of the front desk receptionist I refuse to be treated or talked to any kind of way because I missed 1 appointment and rescheduled 1 .I work two jobs but that doesn’t give someone the right to be ignorant towards you and force u to reschedule your appointment when you were there on time and confirmed because they were upset u missed a previous appointment (from her mouth)like wow

Fantastic experience: It’s a wonderful experience with Dr Dental and I really like my Dr . She has a great sense of humor and knows what she’s doing I really admire her Thank you for your service .

Negative experience: This place is so bad, scheduling is such a huge pain because no one answers the phone. They'll send you texts asking for confirmation but you'll still have to call in to confirm because they aren't capable of checking themselves. The service you get when you come here is so abysmal, the front desk that handles all the phone calls and walk in receptions have no people skills so they treat you like dirt and then go back to playing on their phone and eating lunch. You should not have to put up with service like this for the bare minimum in dental care. This is the nearest dental office that works with my insurance, the other is about an hour away and I would much rather deal with driving an hour away than having to come here. Unless you have a mental healthcare package to go with your dental plan or like wasting your time, save your sanity, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: The staff there are very pleasant and professional. My Dad had 3 teeth extracted and they came out so quick and clean that he didn’t even need stitches and felt great afterwards. The front desk woman/secretary (Nicole) has been so professional and kind and has gone above and beyond to help us. I’m very grateful for the pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extracted so I went up there to make an appointment and they got me in right then and there on short notice which was great a lifesaver because my tooth it was hitting the nerve it needed to be removed but I was expecting maybe a few days or a week just to get an appointment cuz they usually book solid they do great work there I'm always very happy and I'm not just happy because they got me in quick they're actually great people who really care there I don't think Nicole is there anymore but she was always a great help and the new secretary I'm not sure of her name but she's the one that was very helpful this morning and I'm grateful for her in the fine dentist they did great work on my teeth and a hygienist too who's very helpful answering my questions thank you to everyone there once again and I'll be seeing you next week

Fantastic experience: I have been trying to get my teeth fixed for 4 months in the Plymouth office. Almost every appt was canceled. I am about to move to Florida so I have to get it done. The Quincy office was able to make me an appt everyday this week and get all my work done. The staff is amazing and very compassionate to people with anxiety with the dentist. Best dentist I have ever been to.

Negative experience: First of all, they don’t be knowing what they’re talking about. I told sis my tooth was newly crooked and she told me to get a filling?? Also I went there today just for them to simply reprint my referral and there was no receptionists i was waiting there for 10 minutes.

Negative experience: Front desk is incredibly rude. The doctors are amazing but the front desk is sub par. Just keep this in mind when booking.

Negative experience: So I made an appointment with them, and got the massages for them is confirming the appointment. I get there on time, and they tell me my name not on they system and I have to sit stay right they office for 2 hours and turn around them tell me they can’t call my insurance them told me come back next month At least they give me a call and let me know before the day and I don’t have to take my day off or I change my work schedule and drive a 1/2 hour. This practice is ridiculous. I’m sure I never call this office to made appointment again

Once getting in the room the dental assistant walked me through the steps and explain what was going to be done to complete the crowning of the tooth. The Dr. As well as the assistant ensured me that everything would be ok once I started to become on edge about getting the needle (nova cane) . All and all I recommend this location for your dental needs .

Negative experience: Horrible. The front desk never answers the phone they don't return phone calls when your told to leave a message.. I will be looking for a new dentist office.. After reading all the good reviews on here I thought I was going to be very well taken care of but it was not what I expected. The front staff is incredible and the dental assistants are awesome especially Tara she is very informative and caring. I have not met Dr. Dahake but she sounds fantastic. The male Dr that works there needs to improve on his bed side manner he was rough. I felt that he was more concerned with getting through his patients as quickly as possible rather than their quality of care. I went in today to get my tooth pulled and I left in more pain than I went in with. So I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Positive experience: I have extreme dental anxiety and cry when anything is put in my mouth. They were very understanding of my anxieties and they were very accommodating. The only thing I wish went different was how rough she was when putting the camera in my mouth for X Rays. Regardless she was very kind and super understanding.

Negative experience: Prices are ridiculous bed side manner awful $625 to pull 2 teeth sounds like a rip off to me never again

I heard horror stories about root canals, but doctor Dahake did an excellent job.There was no pain whatsoever .My teeth came out perfect! She is absolutely an amazing dentist I would recommend to everybody!

If you have an emergency, go on the website and you can book an appointment! They accept MassHealth as well!

Positive experience: Update 04/29/2022 - Knocked a star off for a TERRIBLE experience today. Told to arrive early then made to wait over an hour past appt. time. Doctor numbed wrong area and had to come back and give a second injection. Removed 2 teeth instead of just the one I was expecting. During removal of 2nd tooth I screamed "pain it hurts" but doctor just kept going. Only gave enough gauze to last a few hours My gum is still bleeding. Not at all happy today. May not come back. 04/12/2022 Was almost a perfect visit. Receptionists, tech and Doctor were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Doctor explained what she was doing each step of the way. I have only 2 complaints and 1 is minor the other a little more bothersome. As for the minor complaint, when the exam was finished the Doctor automatically started talking about doing a root canal instead of explaining all the options I had. I wanted the tooth removed. This turned out NOT to be difficult though. I was able to make an appointment but it is 2 weeks out so I have to suffer in serious pain until then. Which brings me to the major complaint. Even though the Doctor knew how severe the pain was she did NOT prescribe me anything for the pain. Only an antibiotic for the infection in the tooth and gum. I will have to call my own Primary to see if I can get something from her. Overall I am mostly satisfied with today's visit. Hopefully having the tooth removed will go at least as smooth or smoother.

Fantastic experience: I was having extreme pain in a broken tooth that I figured would have to get pulled. After having X-rays done the dentist told me the tooth could actually be saved by having a root canal. Not only did she explain everything very clearly but she was able to get me in for an emergency root canal right then and there. I have to admit I was extremely nervous as I have never had any good experiences with any dentist I’ve seen previously at other offices but I was more than pleasantly surprised. I felt no pain whatsoever, I was continually asked how I was feeling if I was doing okay and if I was in any pain, which I wasn’t. I would 100% refer anyone to this office. I will absolutely be going back for any of my dental needs!

Negative experience: So I made an appointment with them, got the usual voicemail a few days before confirming the appointment. I get there on time, and they tell me they gave my appointment away to someone else because I didn't call them to confirm. Who does that? At least give me a call and tell me you're giving my appointment away before I change my work schedule and drive a half hour. This practice is ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I went in for several fillings and a deep cleaning of my teeth, the Lady Dentist and assistant was very nice and explained everything. I fell asleep in the chair a few times lol that’s how gentle it was. Already recommended them to my daughters.

Negative experience: I scheduled an here appointment few months ago here for a cleaning but ended getting X-ray not sure how that happened.Please make sure you have got copy of your X-ray if you ever got one in this place..if you call back few months later asking for x-rays or asking them to have that information send over to a hospital for surgery purposes. You will get answer like they deleted them or system changed or x-ray system changed.. The receptionist is rude..

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit at this office and the staff were all great, helpful and friendly. They listened and answered my questions. The doctor was very patient and informative and took time to hear me out and offer suggestions that allowed me choices. Glad I found them. Looking forward to a great experience in the future.

Negative experience: A couple of major issues with the services I recieved from this place. I've given them 3 chances to dissappoint and fail to meet my very low expectations before writing this review. They have been over 30 minutes late to every appointment I showed up for. One time they had me waitining for as long as 50 minutes beyond my appointment start time, which I arrived early for. The practice manager basically explained that they'll push your appointment back if they deem someone that came in without an appointment around the same time as your appointment needed urgent care. I asked that if this occurs again, to please reach out to me to notify me of the failure to uphold the appointment time so I can make adjustments to my own schedule. Today, I showed up for my 11 o'clock appointment at 11:04 and waited until aprox 11:45 before walking out. It seems that they intentionally over book their appointments relative to the number of staff they have on at any time to maximize productivity at the expense of their patient's time. This was evident by the 5 other appointments that checked in after me. Looks like they were all in for an hour's wait As if this weren't enough, their dentists are not very friendly or understanding. Gentle is certainly not the word I would use to describe the extraction I underwent with them. The dentist absolutley wrecked the inside of my mouth while trying to extract an already broken molar. My jaw was sore for a week from him grabbing and tugging at it. At one point, I had to stop him to remind him not to pull and tug at my jaw so aggresively. I couldn't drink anything but water for days after for fear that the scrapes and open wounds he left on the inside of my cheek would burn. Just an absolute terrible experience even after voicing my concerns to the company. I will never do business with this company again under any circumstance.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Dental has been a warm,friendly ,very clean professional environment. I would highly recommend having your dental care done there. 8/10/2021 I just wanted to express my last two appointments have went exceptionally well as always,the staff are always professional and friendly. Very organized and clean. I love the care and concern the assistant and provider gives and would highly recommend. 9/16/21 visit was very much the same as 8/10/21 I would highly recommend.

Positive experience: So I made my first appointment online and I got a text message to confirm it which I did, but the day of my appointment they told me I never confirmed it by calling them back? Ok they told me someone else confirmed for that same appointment but never came. I was not seen that day and basically had to wait for them to schedule another appointment which was fine but why they have to call me to confirm something already confirmed? Oh and my first appointment felt rushed and rough I never felt that much pain coming from a X-ray or cleaning but hey you get whatever these days.

Negative experience: My spouse went in for an emergency appointment a few days ago.. they couldn’t do anything for his unbearable tooth pain other than take an X-ray of his teeth, not even any pain medication or antibiotics. The dentist spoke broken English so it was very hard to understand what he was saying but he was VERY rough and poked the gum and area that was in a lot of pain with a sharp metal tool without warning.. the dentist was not gentle at all. The office and areas were also very dirty and not comfortable at all. We ended up scheduling an appointment elsewhere. I would not recommend, specifically for those who are afraid of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Khushboo Jain for many years. First time I came in for a cleaning, she yelled at me for brushing too hard, that my gums were receeding, and that I should be wearing a night/bite guard for grinding. I complained at end of appt to have another Dr., but 6 months later, FORTUNATELY, I got Dr. Jain again. By then, I had put aside my feelings and pride, and I knew Dr. Jain was right about everything. She is just passionate about her work and the oral health of her patients. She is professional, thorough, and personable. I have since gotten a night guard and use an electric tooth brush as Dr. Jain had advised to improve my gum line and those things do help! Next, I'll work on using a waterpick (that I already have on my bathroom counter ). I first came to Quincy Dr. Dental because I live so close, but the reason keep coming here is because I get a great cleaning each and every time from Dr. Jain. Thank you Dr. Jain!

Fantastic experience: Customer service is quick and efficient. Once seen by the DDS, Dr. Jain, everything is quick, and yes, painless. She is very competent and not overy heavy-handed. She is literally the best dentist I have been to in a long time and am thankful I found her. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: WOW! What can i say, Dr. Jain, Elsa and staff were outstanding! Everything about them, from the professional front desk staff, that were helpful and very nice, to Elsa who made me feel comfortable and calm and kept me updated during my 3 extractions, Then there's Dr. Jain, i had three really strong teeth that had to go, and she yanked them out gently and with ease. Great place, when most dentists are booked out for 2 months, i got an appointment the next day, i highly recommend Dr. Dental in quincy, great experience!!
