Dr. Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to Dr. Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry for 4 years now, and even after moving to another town, we still make the drive back because this office is just that amazing. The entire staff is absolutely incredible and so patient with kids. From the very first visit when my twins were just two years old, they took the time to help them feel comfortable, safe, and truly cared for. Dr. Lam always encourages my kids and makes sure they feel at ease, and the dental assistants are genuinely kind and nurturing. When my daughter had a chipped tooth and was terrified to get it sealed, they were unbelievably patient and sweet with her—so much so that she left proud, smiling, and even got a second prize. Every visit ends with the kids picking a prize, which they love, and the little touches like the library area, the cool mirror in the waiting room, and TVs during cleanings or x-rays make the whole experience fun and stress-free. As a mom of three, it is such a relief to find a place that truly cares about your children. Now my kids actually get excited to go to the dentist, and I couldn’t recommend this office more.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience bringing my 9-month-old here for her first dental visit. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately put us me ant ease. The office was very clean and organized, and we were taken back right away with no wait time- a huge plus when visiting with a baby. The dentist and team were informative and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. They were also amazing at engaging with my baby- patient, gentle, and clearly very comfortable working with little ones. And, I didn’t feel rushed during the visit at all. The atmosphere was playful and kid-friendly without being loud or overstimulating, which made the visit feel calm and positive. Overall, it was a smooth, thoughtful experience, and it’s clear this practice truly understands how to care for babies and young children. Highly recommend for other parents!

Fantastic experience: Dr Rabitz is an excellent pediatric dentist and I have been taking my son there since he was 2.5 years old. He is extremely easy going and in his busy schedule still finds time to really connect with his patients. Usually my son does not like doctors and used to cry and not let any other doctor examine him. It was just different with Dr Rabitz right from the very first visit. My son never cried and let them do a detailed exam. The staff in his office are very friendly and professional and really take excellent care of their patients. We would highly recommend his practice for the best care in Bay Area.

I’ve had to see many doctors for my son and honestly the dentist is the only one I don’t dread going to.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Rabitz’s office. Our favorite dentist is Dr. Lam, and I’ve been bringing my kids here since my youngest was 2.5 years old. The team is wonderful with children, and the office staff is always quick, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Lam is exactly the kind of dentist you want for your kids - knowledgeable, gentle, and incredibly patient. She knows how to keep little ones calm, even during numbing shots, and handles anxious or tearful moments with the patience and care. If they treated adults, I would go here.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Rabitz office! The office has a forest theme and it truly feels like you are in a storybook. From the front office to the back staff, everyone is great! Dr. Lam is amazing and my daughter loves seeing her. Dr. Lam is so knowledgeable and is very kind. My daughter has been coming here since she was 1, and at every appointment Dr. Lam was able to clean her teeth. We moved out of the South Bay and drive 45 mins just to see Dr. Lam. We love Dr. Lam and are so grateful for the dental care we receive from this office.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Lam is so kind, patient, and gentle, and the entire staff is always friendly and welcoming. They truly make every visit a positive experience. The “floss challenge” was such a fun idea and really helped motivate my kids to stay consistent with their flossing at home. The quality of care and service here is excellent. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lam and Dr. Rabitz office was amazing! All staff members from scheduling to checkout were friendly, kind and made our little one’s dentist experience so positive. Dr. Lam was great at getting our little one to feel comfortable after a horrible experience at a different dentist. She helped us course correct what could have been a dental fear. The evening after the dentist our little one had wanted to play pretend to call Dr. Lam even. He’s asked about going back too. She made the dental exam fun and really understood little kids. We’re so thankful for their care.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are patient, kind, and supportive toward littles who have apprehensions at their first few visits. I have two toddlers that come here and the staff are warm and welcoming to them. What I appreciate most is their ability to desensitize the kids during the visits. It’s taken several look-and-see appointments, but I think my kids are finally getting acclimated to the dental environment and experience. The decorating and theme in the office is nice. My kids love the trees and the books in the reception area. The rabbit chair is a nice touch, too. Our last visit was a success as both girls were able to complete their cleanings. A photo with Molly the Molar is a must on leaving and we just learned if you’re cavity free, you can enter a raffle! What a cool incentive for the kiddos to keep brushing and flossing. Overall, we are proud to continue to come here although we are nowhere near this neighborhood. Thank you especially to Dr. Lam and Miss Carla for the care they put into our last visit. The girls in the front and Bianca are great at setting us up for the next visits. See you in six months!

There were tears but we were very pleased with Dr. Lam interactions with our kiddo and us. Super proud of how brave our little guy was, but a huge part of this success was how patient, clam and welcoming Dr. Lam and team were. We’ve already scheduled our follow-up appointment!

Fantastic experience: Dr Schultz did an amazing job with our son who gets major anxiety when he needs to get anything that isn’t just a routine cleaning. I have a great family dentist but I still take my teen to Dr. Rabitz office to see Dr. Lam because she is so great and the office in general is so organized and welcoming and professional.

Even when my little one comes in very nervous and crying, she always seems to calm him and is able to have him open his mouth to check his teeth. The staff is also always on top of making sure you come in for your cleaning and services needed. Very attentive. I’m so glad I found them when I did. Been going here for my kids for 15+ years now.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lam was great with our 2yo who refused to open her mouth and turned away. She is also knowledgeable and communicated well with us. I also really appreciate that she could give us stats that related specifically to us (certain trends and things seens in specific populations) so we can be aware and look out for future issues.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Lam and her team enough for the exceptional care they provided during my 5-year-old son’s dental visit. This was our second visit, and I’m amazed at how patient, kind, and gentle they were with him. They made him feel completely at ease, and he was so cooperative throughout the entire cleaning and flossing process – something I never thought would happen with a young child! The staff was incredibly understanding, taking the time to explain everything in a way we could understand and making the experience fun instead of stressful. As a nice touch, my son even got to pick out a little gift at the end of the appointment, which made him feel special and excited to come back. The entire experience was smooth and positive, and I’m so grateful for how wonderful they’ve been with my son. Honestly, they are the best, and I’m so glad we found them for his dental care!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lam and Dr. Suzy continue to make our sons’ dentist appointments a breeze. We’ve been patients since 2014 , when my older son was 1-1.5 yrs old, they are now 11 and 9 yrs old. Not only is their non-invasive approach a great fit for us, but they also have referred us to specialists, as they saw the need for it. As a mom, I like that they take time to get to know their patients and are kind when explaining how to best care for their teeth. We moved out of the area and tried a local dentist but quickly returned. We drive 40 min each way to see them, but it is so worth it for the peace of mind.

Negative experience: The office is charming and kid friendly. But the staff usher you in and out as quickly as possible, and the dentist only spends a few minutes looking at my kids teeth. When I have questions or need something resolved, I have to call repeatedly. Services are very expensive, especially given the lack of attention.

We have been going to this clinic since my daughter was very young, and we always found a patient doctor that explained us whatever my daughter needed. Fantastic experience: My 6 year old has really looked forward to his dental appointments ever since he started coming to Dr. Rabitz. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is warm and playful for the kids, and they get to pick a prize out of the "treasure chest" at the end of the visit. Dr. Lam always takes her time to explain to me, the parent, any areas that appear concerning, and how they will be addressed. She will also take time to answer any questions I have, even when they appear to be having a busy day. I couldn't be more pleased with the care we have received here.

Fantastic experience: We found Dr Rabbitz’s office when our daughter was just a wee thing and now she’s 14! We’ve seen both Dr Rabbitz and Dr Lam and couldn’t be happier. Mini me is very strong willed and has been known to help the amazing nurses pull a stuck baby tooth or two. It’s so nice to know too that Dr Lam is always so-very patient with her stubbornness. Fantastic experience: My daughter loves going to the dentist because the doctors here make it so much fun and easy for the kids. Every doctor we have seen here has been extremely knowledgeable on every topic we asked about including teeth injuries, enlarged tonsils, and general teeth health. The kids also get a small toy prize at the end of each cleaning which makes a big difference in the visit for my kid.

Fantastic experience: We love seeing Dr Suzy.We started with Dr Rabitz, but he’s mostly out, so we ask for her.She’s fun with kids, very encouraging.She shares ideas about sugar free vitamins, what best not eat for kids not to have cavities etc.My kids adore her.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an amazing Dentist, Dr. Lam is it! She is so sweet with little ones and she also speaks Spanish! I have been taking my kids to Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry since my son had teeth. They are out of pocket for our insurance but definitely worth the copay.

Fantastic experience: Was referred to Dr. Lam for my six year old son and she is absolutely amazing. Straight to the point and discusses your options. Office staff is very friendly and welcoming and willing to help in any way. Glad to have been referred and to start our journey with a new dentist!

Negative experience: We have always loved the service and care we receive at this office and especially from Dr. Lam. However, we are very sad that the group is no longer accepting our (or seemingly any) insurance, and so we sadly have to leave and seek dental care elsewhere for our kids. We’ve heard this is a common theme for many of our family friends and we’re bummed to have to say goodbye to a local family business that has watched our kids grow up.

Fantastic experience: Took my son in for his first checkup/teeth cleaning. The staff was super friendly,Dr.Carolynn was great. They all made his first experince a memorable one. Extremely kid friendly they have tvs playing cartoons/movies while they are getting their teeth cleaned. They even gave him sunglasses and headphones. They have a incentive for the kids if they take care of their teeth and don't have cavities.We had a great first experince with Dr. Rabitz office.

Fantastic experience: My son has been seeing Dr. Lam since he was a toddler and it’s been a fantastic experience so far! He visits her twice a year and once he’s done with one visit, he always looks forward to the next one. We’ve always received excellent guidance from Dr. Lam regarding my son’s dental care and her staff is extremely courteous and helpful as well.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was amazing at the office from the front desk, hygienist and Dr Lam. She explained everything in very detail and was very clear about the treatment plan prioritizing what’s most important.

Negative experience: I walked in to make an appointment and was told to come in the next day , I went the next day and the receptionist told me she forgot to put me in the system because of a couple emergencies they had that day. I was still seen and then told I had to pay upfront and get reimbursed myself from the dental insurance. I was told they would call me with all info but instead called a week later to tell me they were going to refer me to someone else and never sent me anything. Not easy dealing with this with a 4 yo in pain.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my daughter there since she was in Kindergarten (she’s 16 now) and she has a very positive experience with the dentist. The Doctors are all fantastic and so great with the kids. We have Dr Lam now and she is wonderful! The entire staff is top notch, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. As a mother, I appreciate a business like this to take my child to!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Dr.Rabitz office is amazing! My wife and I just took our son there for his first appointment. The office is warm and inviting, extremely kid friendly. My son was nervous as this was his first time ever going to the dentist, but Dr.Rabitz put his mind at ease and told him he just wanted to count his teeth and to have my son count with him. He even made a deal with my son, a prize to check his teeth, 2 prizes for polishing, and an additional two balloons if he didn’t find any cavities. My son jumped on that deal! The dental chairs are modern and they also have screens playing movies with headphones for the kids. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone in need of a pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, Dr. Lam is wonderful. First time I met her when my kids were little Dr. Rabitz had a rabbit hat on and Dr Lam had a lamb hat. So cute. Great with both kids and their parents. Definitely recommend!

My son is terrified of any medical office and was already telling me he didn't want to be there as we parked the car. Mind you, he had never been to this office before. I have been telling him all week what the dentist was to prep him, showing him videos, explaining to him what tools are used. I seriously thought he was going to have a meltdown as he started to cry when we parked. But then.... We got inside and @drrabitz.losgatospedsdentistry Immediately took him back and made him as comfortable as possible!! I prayed and prayed that he would have a good first experience and my prayers were answered. They talked to him in Spanish and explained to him in a way that he would understand. If anyone is in need of a pediatric dentist I highly recommend their office!! We left the office without a tear in his eye!!!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE going to Dr. Lam @ Dr. Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry (for the last 4 years, since my son was 2). Every single one of the staff we’ve worked with have been fantastic - so helpful, gentle, patient, and welcoming. Dental experiences can be rough, and my son doesn’t have perfect teeth, but even through crowns/cleanings they have made things easy and enjoyable as much as can be. Highly recommend this practice for the little ones!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rabitz Dentistry is a friendly, welcoming place for our two daughters. They absolutely love coming here to see the beautiful Redwood trees in the office, to get their teeth checked, and of course the prizes. Dr. Caroline was calm, friendly, and made coming to the dentist fun! The girls loved counting their teeth with her and getting to paint their teeth (fluoride). All the dental assistants are amazing as well. Highly recommend Dr. Rabitz dentistry!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Dr Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry for a very long time (14 yrs) and we’ve been seeing Dr Lam with our kids checkups and other dentistry needs. She’s always super friendly, informative, attentive and fun. Kids love seeing her. Crazy thought huh? They do enjoy their dentist appts all thanks to Dr Lam, Dr Rabitz and the entire staff.

Fantastic experience: My 3 children have seen Dr. Suzy for over 10 years and we are all extremely happy. Dr. Suzy is very friendly and knows how to talk to kids and is very patient. Once one my kids needed to see a specialist, (orthodontist), Dr. Suzy referred us to a doctor (also a nice doctor!) who has in close contact with Dr. Rabitz office and everything goes so smoothly and easy for a busy mom. Office staff people are always welcoming and so professional. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My son needed 3 teeth extracted urgently during his routine check. Dr. Suzy was very patient and spoke with him at length to ease his anxiety even though the clinic was very busy that day. I really appreciated her bedside manner and professionalism during a very stressful process.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Suzy is amazing - very good at what she does, professional, courteous, great with kids and parents, highly recommend her! The staff is great, too. The office is decorated to look like a treehouse so that is an extra treat for young kids.

Fantastic experience: They have created an environment in which my kids enjoy visiting the dentist. The service is quick to accompany my kids and they are very informative whenever I have questions. They try to pride themselves in ensuring protection for my kids teeth and a painless process.

Fantastic experience: My daughters, now 18 & 15, have been patients since they were 3. Dr Rabitz and his team do a fantastic job with pediatric patients. My girls were never scared about going to the dentist when they were little. We've seen both Dr Suzie & Dr Lam when Dr Rabitz wasn't available, and were equally impressed by them. I don't leave many online reviews, but after 15 years of superb care, even through the pandemic shutdowns, I feel compelled. Highly recommend!

She's amazing with little patients and nervous parents :-) love that they put you in a drawing if you're cavity-free. My son enjoys coming here!

Fantastic experience: The team at Dr. Rabitz dentistry is always so kind, patient, and informative. Our kids aren’t the sit quietly in the chair type and every time we’ve been, the experience is as pleasant as it can be for them. It’s generally quick and to the point. We have never once questioned our choice in this practice for our kids!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend this office enough. We went for my two year old's first appointment. Everyone was so patient. They overheard the names of the babies she brought and did everything to her Pete the Cat before her. They answered all my questions and were very thorough. My daughter did not want to leave. The office itself is very cute and inviting.
