Negative experience: I had an appointment with the periodontist at this location and she was great. However the front office staff leave a lot to be desired. I can't even get anyone to answer the phone and have to leave a voicemail. I've left 3 voicemails over the last 3 days and haven't even gotten a call back. I can't change my next appointment online because there is no option to do so since the periodontist is only in this office once a month. When I was there in person, one of the ladies told me they'd call me to work out scheduling at a different location since I'm going to have a difficult time making the next appointment but she never called. Honestly, these people seem very disorganized and what kind of business never answers the phone and never returns their voicemails?

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this office was extremely disappointing and felt dishonest. I scheduled a regular cleaning appointment, but when I arrived, they only took X-rays and then told me the hygienist was not in the office, so they could not perform the cleaning. Instead, they gave me a treatment plan for my gums totaling about $300 for a second visit, mainly for antimicrobial medication on four teeth (#3, #14, #19, and #30) at $60 per tooth. Although I was reluctant, I agreed and scheduled the treatment. However, when I came back today, they examined my teeth again and suddenly presented a new treatment plan totaling $780, now recommending antimicrobial medication for 14 teeth. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. If the hygienist were not available during my first visit, how could they confidently give me a $300 treatment plan and then increase it to $780 at the next visit? It feels like they were trying to lure me in and then pressure me into spending more money. When I told them I did not want the antimicrobial medication and only wanted a regular cleaning, they said they could not do the cleaning because it would be “against their license” due to my gum recession and their recommended treatment. That explanation makes no sense to me. As a patient and customer, I should have the right to choose which treatment I accept. I left feeling misled, pressured, and completely dissatisfied with this office. Since I couldn't respond to the reply the owner wrote below, I want to respond here: I already provided all the details; there's nothing to talk about with you, and you don't care to solve any problems at all, judged from all these copy-and-paste responses. If you care, please answer me: why can't I just do a regular cleaning? Which regulation prohibits that? I wasted more than 2 hours on two days and used up my insurance benefit for an X-ray and couldn't even get a basic cleaning because I don't want to spend the ridiculous cost of gum medicine! You better not charge today's visit to my insurance; otherwise, I will try to report to the Texas Dental Board for the matter.

Fantastic experience: All went well! X-rays took a little longer than usual, but they were very thorough! Perio Maintenance with Allison went surprisingly easy this time. She was very good!

Fantastic experience: I’ll start this off by saying I haven’t been to a dentist in over 15 years not for any major reason, I just don’t like people messing with my mouth. About a month ago, I cracked one of my back teeth and had been dealing with food getting stuck and some discomfort. Nothing too bad or constant until this morning. I woke up with a dull pain that wouldn’t go away and got worse whenever I bit down or drank anything. I took off work and scheduled an appointment with Castle Dental in Pearland. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by Yanet, who was friendly and helpful, giving me a few easy options to complete my paperwork. Shortly after, I met Maria (who seems the jack of all trades in the dental world). She took my X-rays, showed me the images, and got me seated for the Dr. My appointment was at 2:00 PM, and I was already in the back getting X-rays by 2:10, which is impressive for any medical office. A few minutes later, Dr. Victor came in and thoroughly explained what was going on. He walked me through multiple options and made sure I understood each one. In the end, I decided to move forward with a root canal. Now keep in mind… I absolutely hate dental work. But they made it as comfortable as possible. During the procedure, Dr. Victor checked in to make sure I was numb and not in pain. Anytime I felt anything, he immediately addressed it and made adjustments. The procedure took some time since the tooth had four infected roots, but he stayed patient and explained what he was doing as he could. Maria also kept things light and helped ease my apprehension during the root canal, which I definitely appreciated. Overall coming from someone who avoids the dentist at all costs this was a really good experience. Definitely, better than I expected. I’ll 100% be coming back to Castle Dental Pearland and will be bringing my two kiddos here for their annual cleanings as well. Appreciate you y’all.

Fantastic experience: My insurance did not start until May. However, I was still able to get affordable x-rays and treated for the tooth extraction same day! The credit card I applied for was easy that provided affordable options that fit my budget. I have a follow up next week. I will start part 2 of treatment soon. Thanks for turning a painful experience into a positive experience.

Negative experience: I had an appointment today 2/26/26 at 11 am. I show up to my appointment today at 10:55 am. Around 11:15 I’m called to the desk to review treatment. I wait until 11;45 for my 11 am appointment. Once I was brought back I was told they don’t have a room for me ready and the x ray machine was broken, mind you it’s now after 12 pm. Also this was a 2 hour appointment (which wasn’t told me when originally making the appointment). Meanwhile during my procedure the dentist and staff are arguing about who touched their tools, who moved the x ray pieces, and why were things wet after two weeks. Upon leaving no one was at the front desk. I was told everyone is at lunch. I received no post opt paperwork and was told I’ll get a phone to schedule my follow up visit. I scheduled another visit and that appointment was 40 minutes behind schedule. The assistant didn’t show up to work until 9:30 even though my appointment was at 9 am. So I had to wait yet again, with no communication on why they were behind even though they “promised it will be better this time” I’m highly disappointed in this location. This location is lacking organization, communication, and efficiency skills. Save yourself the headache and find a different place

Negative experience: Don’t get misled by the old reviews here. The wait times are excruciatingly long, and can’t even get a preventive dental clean up here! Expect to be in the clinic for a minimum 2 hours.

Negative experience: I scheduled what I believed would be a routine cleaning before my benefits expired. Instead, the appointment only included X-rays and an assessment, and I was told I would need to schedule a separate visit for the actual cleaning. In all my years of dental care, I’ve never had to book two separate appointments for a standard cleaning. As a result, I was unable to use my benefits as intended. I had to take time off work for this visit, and returning for a second appointment would require taking additional time off. Unfortunately, the experience felt inefficient and frustrating. When my new insurance benefits begin, I will be selecting a different dental office that can complete X-rays and a cleaning in the same appointment.

Fantastic experience: Doc and his team are absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this office! For nearly 20 years, after a lot of dental trauma, I avoided the Dentist as long as I could. I was in constant pain and had periodontal disease with significant bone loss. I came into the office scared and ashamed at how far out of hand I had let my dental health go. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel comfortable and treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. Doc let me know what we needed to do to start to get my mouth healthy first and then structurally and cosmetically sound. Ms Yanet the patient care coordinator gave me the options and we talked over insurance and pricing so I could stay within my budget and still have the necessary procedures done. Yesterday I went in because I was about to lose an old bridge and Dr Magallanos and Ms Maria took me in immediately, took the necessary X-rays and went to work to ensure I wouldn’t be walking around without my front teeth. Doc is very skilled with the anesthesia I felt nearly nothing. I will have temporaries in while my gums heal but he made sure they look really nice and I left with so much new confidence!! I am smiling so much today and almost no pain other than a little tenderness. I am so excited and can not wait to see the end result!!! This transformation will be life changing for me. I’m so grateful for this office! I will be switching my kids to this office asap. I would suggest anyone that has been hesitant or scared to get started on new dental work come and see what they can do for you!! I can’t wait to post pictures upon completion!

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in 6+ years due to a traumatic experience with my wisdom teeth. I decided to take a chance for a dental cleaning. My hygienist, Allison, and Dr. Garza took great care of me. They explained to me the risks of periodontal disease and scheduled me for the next two appointments. The deep cleaning with Allison went great. She is so sweet and gentle with me. My wisdom teeth then started coming out and I had booked an appointment for a consultation for extraction. Dr. Garza explained to me the wisdom teeth was penetrating into my sinus and that it’s recommended to take it out asap. The extraction was done on the same day. The whole team here is so fantastic. He also gave me a decaf iced mocha after my extraction to help with the bleeding. Would definitely recommend coming to this place.

I had a multi-tooth extraction today and was a nervous wreck, but Maria and Yanet were so patient and helped me stay calm. The procedure was painless and professional. Fantastic experience: I went to Castle Dental in Pearland for a consultation to get an implant. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the two girls behind the desk. After less than 5 minutes, I was taken back for X-rays. I then met Dr Malik and her assistant, Mary. They were both very nice. Dr Malik found some problems in my X-rays that were going to require a bit of work before I could have an implant done, and she offered to do it that day since she had time. It turned into a very long procedure and she spent several hours working on me. She and Mary did everything they could to keep me relaxed and comfortable. They were both very helpful. Dr Malik is a very knowledgeable, kind and caring person and I truly felt that she was very genuine. So far, I feel that she is an excellent periodontist.

Negative experience: I received my Invisalign treatment from this office, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. The orthodontic team has been extremely unprofessional, from the doctor to the assistants. They gave me my Invisalign (they did some smoothing cus there were excess plastic on my gum) without properly cleaning them and still told me to wear them. On top of that, I was asked to return 2–3 times in a single day because they kept forgetting to take photos and X-rays. They also only operate on Fridays, which makes it very difficult to get help in an urgent situation. Overall, I am very frustrated with their poor service and lack of organization. I would not recommend this orthodontic office to anyone.

Negative experience: The dr. Lee used to work here. It was good then. Now they switched to a new doctor he is very bad. He changed my crown without killing the nerve simply no extra payment from insurance. The crown is ill fitted it hurts my gums. I tried to tell him. He said something else. I Suffered a Painful gums for weeks. The painful experience made me crazy enough to post this. The doctor has no ability or just pure ignorance to take care of my pain. I will never go back to this castle dental. As long as they have this doctor on duty. I shared my experience because you can avoid it. Basically they don’t take care of your dental needs or your pain due to their inability and insurance.

Negative experience: I went to regular check up and cleaning. But staff said Dr. T doesn’t do for regular cleaning they want me to pay $266 for one treatment and then do the regular cleaning. I said to staff , I don’t have any pain or bothering my tooth, why they want me to push the procedure? Before Dr. said it’s not whole place but it’s some where need to treat. But staff saying need to do all over the places, so I suppose to pay whole charges. I left from the clinic without do anything. I am giving zero reviews to them. I feel long wait times, poor billing practices, and feeling pressured into unnecessary services.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place because of everyone that works here. Dentist are scary for me, but not here. These people gave me back my smile in every way. I came with no confidence and now I lead everywhere I go with a big smile! I had very major work done and everything was clearly explained and a game plan laid out. I had many options with what I chose, the price i wanted to stay within, and financing options. The communication is outstanding as well as the quality of work. The doctor is outstanding and puts me at ease each time, as well as his outstanding staff. I love this place, who says that about a dentist!!

Negative experience: The Receptionist are just as cold as the office. My appointment was at 1:00 no one was in the waiting room and still didn’t get called to X-ray till 1:30. Finally got to X-ray she was nice and the only person concerned about my wait. Then got to the hygienist she examined me told me what I needed watched a video. Then the wait……….then the dentist finally came told me the dental plan. Then the wait…………………..went back to the front desk for pricing my insurance offer 3,000 dollars in coverage. First she showed me a paper with 0 co pay then came back saying 600 for all that nothing was done no cleaning nothing I left that place at 3:00. This place is a money grab Even with insurance.

Positive experience: I’m writing this review to share my experience so others know what to expect. I originally had a filling done here and I can honestly say it was the most painful experience I've ever had with a dentist. I've never been that uncomfortable before and the discomfort lasted a few days. Also, within just two weeks the filling broke off. I had to schedule another appointment to get it repaired, which was inconvenient and frustrating. When I came back I was seen by a different dentist, Dr. M, who did a much better job and was professional,careful, and thorough. I’m grateful to the second doctor, but the quality of the first appointment was disappointing. I hope this helps improve quality control for future patients.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Castle dental and I absolutely adored the staff! Doctor, front office and assistants in the back were nothing less than amazing! They were able to see me as a new patient, and extract a tooth on the same day. The doctor is very sweet and informative; he listens and also teaches along the way.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting my teeth cleaned for over 18 years here in the states, and I can honestly say this was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Janay is truly exceptional. She’s not only incredibly skilled and precise, but she clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her work. She took her time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I walked out feeling like I had a brand new set of teeth. If you’re serious about your dental hygiene, ask for Janay. You won’t regret it at all.

Negative experience: Update: I posted this review and 1 minute later, the owner copies and pastes the same response that is under every review under mine. This location does not care about their patients or their concerns. I doubt the owner even read my review. This just shows how crooked and careless these people are!!! All the way from long wait times, the dentists/hygienist recommending things you don’t need and lying about you having gum issues or having cavities when you don’t have them… This Castle Dental location has been terrible. On a visit last year, the dentist that asked me what medications I took and I mentioned one of them was for my face to control my acne. The dentist then asked me “Is it for your face?” and had the nerve and audacity to point to my birthmark on my face. I’m not sure why the dentist would ask me about medication for my birthmark when I clearly stated it was for my acne and my appointment is for my TEETH. I complained about that inappropriate conversation/comment from the dentist and nothing was done. In that same visit, the dentist also told me that I had cavities in between my teeth in which I have NEVER had in my life and gave me a quote to fill those and the “other” cavities I supposedly had. 6 months later, that same dentist tells me that I no longer had the cavities between my teeth and never mentioned the other cavities since then. I automatically knew the dentist was lying to begin with. At this castle dental about some years ago, another dentist & hygienist told me that I had full on gingivitis when I never showed signs of it but was only told to upkeep flossing to prevent it and was pretty much forced to get a very painful cleaning that was not needed. Upon the cleaning being completed, it looked like I had gingivitis because my gums were bleeding, puffy and in pain. This most recent appointment that I never got to attend was my last straw with this Castle Dental. Upon me arriving late (which was totally my fault,) it became a hassle of trying to get a clear information and correct timeframes from the receptionist given that I needed to leave out of the office to go to work by 10am. I even asked if I could split my X-ray and cleaning appointment up and was declined. Another castle dental office I called stated that it was very possible for me to do if I did the X-ray as the first appointment. While trying to resolve issues with my insurance (my job doesn’t give any information or cards for dental/vision and was told to her before the appointment on the phone and when I got there) the receptionist told me “We need your insurance so we can get our money or you would have had to pay $400+.” From that comment, I then decided to not go through with the appointment and became frustrated because it seemed like they cared about money rather than their patients. In an attempt to reschedule, I specifically told the woman at the front desk that I have to be out of the office no later than 10am because I had to be at work for 10:30am and would have to get an appointment earlier than 9am to make sure I can do the X-rays. I picked a date in which she said she had a 9am appointment (the earliest time slot that was available) and when I chose that one, she then turned around and said the appointment was for 10:30am and continued to give me days/times that were for 10:30am. The next appointment that fit my time request was not until August and I did not want to wait for another 2 months. After not being able to find other appointment times, she suggested that I may want to go to another location and if I needed the address or phone numbers to them. Out of frustration and disappointment, I declined and walked out. There is a big problem with this Castle Dental location and for some others as well. This was by far THE WORST experience ever out of this location and I will never be returning to a Castle Dental for general dentistry unless it is for Ortho and Ortho ONLY. I really don’t recommend Castle Dental at all let alone this location with the current dentist there. The Castle Dental chain needs to do better.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience with Dr. Malik-Periodontist @Castle Dental along with her assistant Ms. Maria. Dr Malik is very passionate and so caring with her patients. She has done such beautiful work with me. I always look forward to my visits with this office and the staff.

Negative experience: Unbelievable that I would get a survey after I really didn't have an appointment. I arrived at 10:23 for my 10:30 appointment for a routine exam and cleaning. After about 40 minutes of watching others come in and get taken to the back, someone finally came out to speak with me. The doctor was tied up. So, I could either go ahead with my cleaning or come back another time and have both the exam and the cleaning. She kept stressing that I would have to return (as if she was hoping that would be my choice). I decided to leave and never come back. I was already on the fence about selecting another dentist and this just sealed the deal.

Fantastic experience: This office from the beginning is incredible! Take it from someone that had a very traumatic experience when I was a child with a dentist. I have very bad anxiety just going to a dentist office. From the lady (forgot her name) that took my X-rays, Ms. Maria and Dr. Magallanes made me feel so comfortable that I even decided to go ahead and do my implant (which I had second thoughts of doing of so nervous that I was feeling). On my first visit Dr. Magallanes explained everything in detail and I walked out from the office feeling happy and not discouraged like other places that I have been to. Prices are very reasonable and Ms. Susan helped me find the best finance available that suited my needs. I would recommend this office to all my friends and family! Thank you staff and Dr. for being so amazing, I know that I have a long journey but I’m confident that it would turned out great.

I was extremely nervous but Dr. M and his assistant Maria gave me good comfort and made me laugh. The office was so neat and clean with friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend coming to this office. If you want a top quality experience with outstanding patient care give castle Pearland a visit.

Negative experience: The 2 stars is ONLY being held together by the courteousness of the receptionists and scheduling coordinator! I had my wisdom tooth removed under sedation on Saturday, 3/22, and have been in almost unbearable pain ever since. Dr. Sanders, the surgeon who performed the procedure, never followed up or checked on me in the days after surgery. By Monday, 3/24, I was in so much pain that I returned to the League City location, where I saw a different doctor who increased my antibiotic and pain meds. The pain continued throughout the week, and I was told to visit the Pasadena location so Dr. Sanders could evaluate it herself. That’s when things went from bad to worse. She showed little sympathy or concern for the extreme pain I was experiencing as she flushed out my extraction site. When my fight-or-flight instinct kicked in and I reflexively moved her hand, she became visibly frustrated and scolded me, saying, "Keep your hands to yourself." "You're either going to let me help you or not!" Instead of feeling cared for by a doctor, I felt like I was being reprimanded like a child. While my pain was radiating at a 10 throughout my tooth, neck, ear, and jaw! Once I was able to regain most of my compose and somewhat calm my nervous system, I decided to discontinue treatment. Dr. Sanders will never touch my mouth again. I’ve had a wisdom tooth extracted before (Dr. Lovoi) and experienced zero pain after the procedure, so I know this level of suffering is not normal. This entire experience is the reason people despise going to dentists, and Castle Dental needs to provide better training in bedside manner and patient care. Tooth pain is among the worst types of pain someone can endure—patients deserve doctors who acknowledge that and treat them with empathy.

Negative experience: An appointment is pointless. Get ready to wait way passed your appointment time. I came in with tooth pain and sat 2 hrs before seeing anyone. Nurses are rude and unprofessional. Overall a poor experience and can’t wait to be done with them. Go somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: Update 2/18/25 – After visiting a new dentist, he confirmed that I do not have any periodontal disease and that my oral health is in excellent condition. He assured me that a deep cleaning was unnecessary. It’s reassuring to know that honest dentists still exist. Although his office is a bit farther from my home than Castle Dental, the quality of care makes it well worth the drive, and I plan to stay with him. Original review - Avoid this dental office, they are dishonest and are only interested in extracting as much money from you as possible. It seems that there is insufficient profit in performing routine cleanings and exams, so now they push for hygienists to conduct oral cancer screenings and even make diagnostic decisions traditionally reserved for doctors as you'll see below. I have been consistently visiting the dentist every six months throughout my life, and each time, I receive a clean bill of health. Both the dentist and hygienist have always praised my oral hygiene. For the past three years at this particular Castle Dental location, I have received the same positive feedback, with no dental or hygiene issues reported. Therefore, I was taken aback during my recent visit for my regular cleaning when the hygienist informed me that I was experiencing periodontal disease and bone loss, and I would need to have a deep cleaning procedure. When I attempted to explain that I had just seen the dentist six months prior, and both the dentist and the hygienist had confirmed my oral health was fine, I insisted on receiving only the regular cleaning, but she refused, she stated that she did not feel "safe" performing a regular cleaning and insisted on the deep cleaning, which would, of course, incur additional costs. When I pressed her on how she could contradict the dentist’s findings, she claimed that her assessment was based on the x-rays, which she stated indicated periodontal disease and bone loss. These were the same x-rays taken six months prior that the dentist had reviewed. After discussing the matter with the office manager, I was informed that their hygienists are qualified to make such determinations, regardless of previous evaluations by the dentist and they would not perform a regular cleaning. This is stupid and unacceptable; I refuse to allow someone who is not a licensed dentist to override a professional medical diagnosis for the sake of financial gain. I will certainly be seeking a new dentist who is honest and scrupulous and not just interested in profit. Avoid this office, and probably any Castle dental office. I'm sure this is a company-wide problem. By the way, they have a brand new staff, dentists and hygienists, so this may explain the changes towards bigger profits.

Fantastic experience: Janay is the best hygienist I have had! Having gone through many dental practices over the years, she is quick, efficient, thorough, and very gentle. I have requested her for my next cleaning as I don’t want to have anyone else. I highly recommend Janay and the rest of the staff at Castle dental.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental office I have ever gone to. Everyone is so friendly and nice. Office staff, hygienist, technicians, the dentist. I haven’t been to the dentist in years and was concerned for my dental health. The main reason I hadn’t gone to an office is due to negative experiences at other dental places and shame in regards to not being on top of my dental health. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I met.. No complains, I was seen accordingly and all my questions and concerns were answered and addressed. You can tell everyone there loves their job and what they do. They do not bash and shame you, you don’t feel judged ever, they actually encourage and motivate you to do better through their recommendations and education they give you. If you’re reading this, please check them out, I am really looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: I had a fall and broke 2 front teeth. That was on 01/04/2025, Castle Dental got me in on Tuesday the 7th. Had 2 painless root canals and temp caps till permanents come in All staff was friendly, professional and treated me in the utmost top care. I recommend Castle Dental in Pearland highly and will definitely be using them.

Negative experience: I had appointment for 8am and was told to arrive 15 min early to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 7:55 and signed in and did not get called to the back until 9am. Long story short, I did not get my teeth cleaned that day, just X-rays. As a new patient I won’t be coming back.

Negative experience: My husband and I booked an appointment on last friday and appointment was taken around 3 weeks ago and Lewis Madzire assisted us with scheduling. We specifically booked an appointment for teeth cleaning. They told us that it should take around 1.5 to 2 hours per person. So we booked an appointment for 3pm and 4pm. We reached there on time and filled out paper work. Then the lady in the front desk told us that they won’t be able to do teeth cleaning today.. they will just take x-ray and examine as the dental hygienist is working on her last patient. We planning our whole long weekend according to this appointment so that we can get our teeth cleaning done… we were extremely disappointed. This is highly unprofessional. I even called 4 days ago to confirm the appointment for teeth cleaning and they said everything is good to go. Either the person who booked our appointment messed up or the person working there on black Friday didn’t want to see more patients on black Friday. I will never go back there.

Negative experience: I've been sending my children here for years. Once my kids reached driving age, I sent them alone for ortho and cleanings. I never had a problem with this until this last visit. On that visit they sent my daughter home because I was not with her instead of calling me to see if I could come up there. I took my daughter back up there and Ebony was super helpful and nice and acknowledged the situation was handled the wrong way however the lady that sent my daughter home and the hygienist continued to be rrude. I am ok with policy changes but just let me know so I can adjust my schedule accordingly. I hope this office gets it together soon because they have been going down since COVID.

Negative experience: The clinic experience was terrible! I had an 8:30 AM appointment for teeth cleaning, and since it was my first time there, I had a lot of forms and information to fill out. After completing the paperwork, I went in for X-rays, then the doctor came for a consultation, and finally, the front desk discussed the fees with me. This process dragged on until 11:00 AM. However!! They couldn’t do the cleaning today because there were other patients. Are you out of your mind? Others are patients, and I’m not? If I hadn’t asked multiple times when the cleaning would start, who knows how much longer they would have delayed it! In the end, I angrily left without getting my teeth cleaned. What a stupid clinic. If it was due to my own issues, like being late or delaying the consultation process, causing other patients’ appointments to be affected, I would definitely apologize. However, it was your clinic's fault that I couldn’t get my teeth cleaned today, and then you asked me to reschedule? I would have to be out of my mind to come back to your clinic again!

Fantastic experience: I don't normally leave reviews, but I've also never left a dentist appointment that I would describe as stellar, until my appointment at Castle Pearland yesterday. I have never felt as comfortable in a dentist's chair as I did in Dr. Magallanes-Garza's. I went in for an extraction and bone graft yesterday morning and I still haven't felt one bit of soreness since. Mary, who assisted with my procedure, has contagiously warm and fun energy that made the time fly right by. The office manager, Katherine was so kind and accommodating and took plenty of time to walk me through several different payment options in detail before my procedure. All in all, the appointment exceeded my expectations for a dentist visit from beginning to end - I couldn't recommend another dental clinic more!

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at Castle Dental. I came in on my first dental appointment on a Tuesday with a broken tooth. The dental technician took x-rays of my teeth, and the dentist recommended that I have a root canal. I explained that I had a lesson to present on my YouTube channel and I needed it for Thursday. I could not present a lesson with a missing front tooth. The dentist spoke to the office manager. To my surprise, the dentist, dental technician, and office manager, stayed late on Tuesday afternoon and I had my root canal, a temporary tooth, and a molding for my tooth. The dentist also called my pharmacy to have my pain pills and other medicine that I needed. I left Tuesday evening with a big smile. My tooth looks fabulous. The dentist, dental assistant, and office manager were just awesome. They were so understanding about my dilemma. I really appreciate the wonderful service. By the way, the lesson that I presented on my YouTube channel was great. I really like the temporary tooth. I highly recommend this dental office. I was treated like royalty. I am one happy customer.

Negative experience: So unhappy with Castle Dental. If I could leave a review for no stars I would. I will never suggest Castle Dental to anyone. Too many mistakes, too much miscommunication, and there isn’t anyone who takes care of or even cares enough for your concerns. I thought it would be better trying different Castle Dental offices, but it is not. I never leave reviews but it has gotten so bad this is necessary.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this office! Dr. M is an amazing dentist and very quick, gentle, and informative. The techs and assistants have been incredibly kind. Mrs. Amber, the office manager runs a tight ship and remembered my name from day one, checking on me repeatedly while waiting. This office is very busy and seems to be in demand and I totally understand why.

Negative experience: If I can give this facility 0 stars I would. Had an appointment at 8:30, didn’t get to the back until 9:35, you would think since it was an early appointment, I would get seen soon but no. Got to x rays at 9:35, dental hygienist came afterwards. I usually get a thorough exam for gum disease but I didn’t this time. she literally had me open my mouth an grazed the tool across my gums in one motion and gave a total score and that was it. She didn’t do it individually like other hygienist usually do. Dentist came in at 9:50, barely looked in my mouth and suggested that I needed a number of root canals. When I went to the location 6 months ago, I had small cavities but nothing to worry about, instead of filling them they just let them be. Came in last week, now theyre saying I need root canals. He left at 9:55 and I had to wait for someone to go over treatment prices for me, 10:30 came and no one came to talk to me. I had to get up and go to the front desk to explain that I had class soon and could not wait any longer. A treatment plan discussion still wasn’t done. I left without the discussion and cleaning because of the wait, no one even talked to me about the types of cleaning I needed. Very disorganized and now I have to go to another dentist.

Fantastic experience: The front office staff are very nice and polite the Dentist is also a wonderful man I would recommend everyone to this office, except for the older women with the all blond hair she was very ugly and rude towards me and she told me that I couldn’t goggle and spit out the water in the sink that I needed to spit in a cup? That made no since not to mention cups cost money, she was also very unclean and kept trying to put her dirty hand in my mouth even after I ask her to please change her gloves, she went to the back and said she changed her gloves but I knew she wasn’t telling me the truth. My dentist ask for and impression and the same lady insisted on handling me even when I told her I wanted someone else to work with me. She act as if she never heard me and stayed there then she stuck that impression stick in my mouth and pushed it really hard making my gums swell up. Also the dentist said keep it in for 3 minutes but she kept it in much longer I tried to tell her with the waving of my hand that the time was up and that she was hurting me, but she wouldn’t stop so I had to pull it out of my mouth. When I did she yanked it out of my hand and ran to the dentist and told him I took it out early but she wasn’t telling the truth, she came back to me to say she is redoing over I told her never again. Get some else to do what ever is needed she then stormed off. I spoke with the office manager to let her know what had just happened to me.

Positive experience: My daughter has been using the orthodontist at the Pearland location for a while now. The experience is great , they explain everything they need to do and are doing to help improve her mouth.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience. Called in and set an appointment within the hour, arrived to a very pleasant and professional front staff. They even helped me figure out an issue with my insurance! They offer financing / payment plans and I was able to get my root canal done the same day. My tech Mary and the dentist were also amazing and very informative throughout the process. So glad I was recommended to come here! I’ll be back for my cleaning soon.

Fantastic experience: I would give Dr. Magallanes a 10 if possible, it is obvious he cares. I switched after 9 years to Castle and if not for him I would be looking again. He fixed my crown which needed a root canal, he even cleaned my teeth personally when the hygienist wasn’t available.

He has a great bedside manner, is up to date with current and new information, very informative, and only recommends stuff to his patients if he has used the product himself. Very thorough, understanding, and gentle when giving a shot to numb you. Best experience I've had with a dentist even thr root canal was mostly pain free.

Negative experience: The orthodontist team is great but the front desk staff is terrible. They scheduled an appointment with a hygienist that is no longer with the team. They had ample time to change the appointment or notify me. But waited until I already took the day off and was waiting an hour past my appointment time to tell me I won’t be seen due to their poor planning and scheduling. They are very inconsiderate of people times and schedule so now I have to wait several months for my service. Just look elsewhere if you don’t want your time wasted.

Negative experience: No issues with the dentist/hygienists I have been seen by. I’ve had 2 appts at this location but today was the 2nd time I have walked in thinking I had an appointment and they haven’t been able to see me because they don’t have a hygienist. (Office manager literally just said to me, “apparently no one wants to work”) The first time, I had stopped by in person and made an appointment, and when I showed up for the appointment they didn’t have me in their calendar. The second time was today, where this appointment was made months in advance, I had requested off work, I had woken up earlier than usual (night shift worker) to get here, AND I had driven 30 minutes because I had moved further away. (I actually wasn’t going to use this location anymore because I was moving, but at my last appointment in the summer this same office manager had convinced me to go ahead and make it just in case I didn’t get a chance to find a dentist closer to me in the meantime) The office manager told me that her employee had said she called everyone from the afternoon to let them know they didn’t have a hygienist. No one called me. I only got 2 texts this week confirming my appointment. In short, this location seems disorganized and understaffed and if your insurance allows it I would go somewhere else.

Negative experience: The dentist and dental hygienists are great, but the office staff and scheduling team are the reason we are now looking for a new dentist. Just a really poor customer service experience. I waited over an hour to be seen for my first appointment because of how backed up they were. There was an emergency that pushed things back, which I understand happens, but I say in the waiting room for an hour without any update. Then the initial appointment is just a check and they schedule you for a second visit to do the actual cleaning, which was frustrating because this was not explained during the initial booking. My husband had a appointment scheduled with them a couple of months ago that they canceled due to incliment weather (completely understandable) but he called twice to reschedule and never heard back and they never reached out to him to try and reschedule, despite their cancellation saying they would. The final straw for us is I have called three times over the past 6 weeks to try and get an updated quote for a new crown after my insurance switched. The first time I called the rep was rude and didn't listen when I told her I already had a quote for the work from a month prior but I have new insurance now and need to get an updated quote to know what to expect. She just kept telling me I needed to scheduled another consultation but she finally agreed to check on the insurance and call me back. She never did. Called a couple weeks later thinking she needed time and the rep I spoke to that time said the other one never called insurance and she would. She didn't. I gave her even longer and called back a few days ago, told the rep that this is the third time I've called, she promised she would call me back. Still nothing. So we'll be taking our business elsewhere, as I think we gave them plenty of chances.

Negative experience: Last time I went had a horrible experience. They took a walk in at my appointment time and I had to wait 3 hours. I decided to give them a second chance since it’s close to home. Waited 2 hours past my appointment time for a basic cleaning and X-rays. I will never go back

Negative experience: I typically have a good experience here but i’m very unhappy with my most recent experience. I came in for a procedure and the dental assistant reeked of cigarette smoke. She was very kind but to be working in my mouth and smelling like you just came back from your cigarette break is ridiculous. As someone who works in healthcare administration, I find this extremely unsatisfactory.

Negative experience: I visited the location in Pearland off of Broadway. The staff was very nice, but they were unorganized. They booked me for a late appointment by phone at 9 AM but didn't have me on the books when I arrived so no one knew I was coming including the dentist. Once I saw the dentist they told me I couldn't get any work done (including a cleaning)because it was late, so i left work early and drove there for nothing. Then they told me they would have a quote for procedures I was consulted on by morning. I have not heard from them in 3 days and had to call today. When I called, they had no clue of any quotes or consulting. Nothing was in their system for me but the visit 3 days orior. They said they would be in touch.

Negative experience: I was disappointed with the admin staff. My appointment was at 1PM, but was not attended till 1:45ish. By the time we were taken in by the dentist it was 2PM. We went for our semi-annual cleaning. That is the only thing they did not do. Although the dentist, Ms. Singh was good, I felt the admin staff was a let down. I will possibly change them next time around.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience here. I arrived on time to my appointment for a routine cleaning and the staff took x-rays BEFORE telling me that the hygienist was not there that day. They also called me 10 minutes before the appointment and did not even bother to mention at that time they did not have the staff to do the cleaning. The dentist was there in the office and could have done the cleaning herself but decided to leave early and walked out right in front of me. The staff was very disorganized and extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: I had a 3:20 appointment and i showed up at 3 pm to fill out paperwork. It wasn’t until 3:53 that i was called to the back to do X-ray. Doctor basically came and said you have infection so antibiotics and then oral surgeon and walked away telling me she was getting me a prescription. Everyone in the office all over the place just not well organized.
