Experiencia fantástica: I am terrified of the dentist. I have been terrified since I was a child. But I had gone to TLC for the first time back in 2011, and they were so great, made me feel so comfortable, that I returned And it continues to be such a wonderful place, made me feel really comfortable. I mean, I barely flinched when I was getting my cleaning and usually that is not my experience, but I'm so looking forward to continuing to go to get my teeth taken care of at TLC thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: My situation was similar to "Tiffanie's". Very bad experience w a previous dentist leading to high anxiety. Without going into detail, Dr Kardon eased ALL of my concerns. Plus she squeezed me in for emergency appointmentS. She is truly a remarkable individual. Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't give her associate, Dr Louis, a shout out as well. She too is very patient and has a very caring and reassuring manner. Have already recommended this office to many.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t express enough how petrified I am of dentists. I had a terrible experience when I was younger and unfortunately, that fear stayed with me. Which has lead to decay and loss of teeth. I was in need of help to restore my smile. I had fear of judgment, with Dr. Kardon, that didn’t happen. I even cried in the chair and she was so very kind. I have been to other dentists where I felt like I was in a dental mill. There was slim to no hospitality or feeling welcome. The thing I love the most about TLC is how all the staff truly cares, and that’s reflected in the care you receive! I have more to dental work to do, although thanks to Dr. Kardon and the entire staff I have my confidence back. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see pups at their dentist!

Her ability as a dentist is UNMATCHED. I have gone through extensive dental procedures with Dr. Kardon and every time it was comfortable and with no pain. Dr. Kardon is amazing!! In addition, her staff (Dana) is incredible as well as those who make you comfortable the minute you walk in (Michelle). So, take it from someone who has known this practice for MANY years, you will not be disappointed or find a better dentist!! Oh, and her pups being in the office is always a very welcoming sight… I trust ANYONE who loves her dogs that much!!

Experiencia negativa: I was disappointed with my treatment at this practice. Dr. Kardon pulled my teeth and didn’t have my partial ready so she had the nerve to put the teeth that she pulled back in my mouth with wiring but of course it didn’t stay. Also when my partial arrived she shaved it down to fit my gums because it was uncomfortable but that was a disaster too because once my gums healed the partial was lower than my teeth which caused my bottom row of teeth to push against the top row now causing them to shift outwards. I will never return to this office. Yes the staff and Dr. Kardon are very nice but this was a traumatic and embarrassing experience.

The environment feels safe and comfortable, and as a bonus, they even have dogs there! After having some not-so-great experiences with other dentists, finding this office has been such a relief.

Then from there my experience only went up. I had no wait time and was promptly taken back. My hygienist thoroughly cleaned my teeth and educated me in a way that wasn't discouraging. Dr. Kardon came in and explained EVERY THING TO ME in a personable way and made me feel at ease. I need more dental work done and because of the phenomenal staff here I know I'll be in good hands.

Experiencia negativa: This place is dirty and the front desk staff is not pleasant to deal with. The actual work in the chair is fine (the hygienist staff were all fine, some better than others, but none downright terrible) and Dr Kardon is probably the most pleasant person in that office to deal with, so I don't have a problem with that. And Dr Kardon being pleasant to deal with made me not write this review, initially. But her staff/pricing/policies just put me over the top. For one, the billing staff would send stuff to insurance even when I paid cash and then when I didn't have dental insurance anymore they charged $340 for a normal cleaning, no xrays. I confirmed this was not a mistake both at the time and the next day with Dr Kardon. I paid $240 and left, this was back in July. They are still calling me over the extra $100 and sending it to collections. They only told me about their 399 plan (which is still not really that competitive) AFTER I had paid the $240 which the front desk lady also claimed was some sort of deal. Either way, I was not going to write this review after the bad experience in July but since they are still calling me about it, I should let other people know not to deal with this dental office.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and made me feel completely comfortable throughout my visit. It was hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Experiencia fantástica: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Kardon and her amazing staff, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental visits, largely due to some traumatic experiences in the past. However, when I found myself with a broken tooth, I called their office on a friend's recommendation. They were incredibly accommodating and fit me in for an emergency appointment the same day. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which significantly eased my anxiety. Best of all, the procedure itself was completely pain-free. I truly can't imagine going to another dentist now. Dr. Kardon and her team have completely transformed my outlook on dental care. Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best dentist and practice that I have ever gone to. I would never go anywhere else having seen how Dr. Kardon and her staff treat patients. The level of professionalism coupled with true compassion for their patients is unmatched. They go far above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable no matter what procedure you are having done. I cannot recommend Dr. Kardon strongly enough.

Experiencia negativa: This was an overall bad experience. Dr. Kardon and the front staff were nice. My hygienist was ok, but she kept bumping me (more than the expected ) and got me wet several times despite informing her about it. I was told that the visit would be $45 at the beginning of the visit and then told an entirely different amount at check out. I was not told that this would be a deep cleaning and that it would cost $238. Either way I paid the amount I was told and did not question it. When I called and made my original and only appointment, I told the person my insurance and also gave them a copy when I arrived for my appointment to make sure that my insurance would cover it. Now I am being told that I have a balance of $158 five months past the original and only visit. When I inquired about the invoice, it showed that my insurance covered a portion of the radiographs but not the cleaning? When I originally called about the balance, I was told to ignore the balance, and now I am being told that I have to pay $158 for radiographs? That does not make sense to me. I was told wonderful things about Dr. Kardon, which is why I wanted to switch dentists, but after the unsavory dental cleaning experience and now being told 5+ months later that there is an additional balance is very upsetting and unprofessional. If I knew that I would have either accounted for that cost, or decided to go back to my original dentist. Being in the service business as well, if I made a mistake with a client invoice, I would not contact the client 5+ months later and tell them that there was a mistake. I would not expect the client to pay for a mistake on my end. Dr. Kardon is very nice, but this was a bad experience all around and I will no longer be returning for any future services.

Exactly like their name says, I definitely felt the TLC. Plus, no one tried to upsell me on anything! Happy to find a dentist with predominantly women working at the office. They helped me feel comfortable, which is a great way to ensure I keep up with my appointments. Thanks all!

Experiencia negativa: Had a very hard time getting my credit back from overpaying from first visit bill. Ended up applying to other treatment. Found out that additional part of this treatment (laser) was not covered after it was performed, never advised that it might not be covered. Hundreds of dollars charged. After multiple phone calls (at least 10) and still having a partial credit on my account - from being overcharged again - I still have not been reimbursed. Office staff was nice and skill was competent - but do not like the practice for the difficult time of getting money back and overcharging. Still waiting.....Doctor said she would look into it. Called to inquire - AGAIN - no word, no reimbursement. I see now that this is a similar experience for other patients - I should have read reviews first. Be careful when paying - I thought I was.......

Experiencia negativa: I would never recommend this dentist. They review your insurance benefits before seeing you as a patient and charge accordingly. I scheduled a simple cleaning and came out with a 100$ bill without notice. If you look at other reviews on this dentist you will see the same advice. They will suck your dental benefits dry. Don’t go to this dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Because of poor enamel plus the inability to get numb as a child and as an adult, going to the dentist would all but give me a panic attack. I must have seen over 10 different dentists since I was about 18 and none of them could really make me numb. I had to have numerous root canals and extractions during those years which only intensified my fears and I felt completely helpless. And then in my mid 50's, I saw an advertisement for TLC Dental Center and an article about Dr. Julie Kardon. WOW I just turned 70, and I still get a tad emotional , to put it mildly...at the thought of having a dental procedure. Those childhood memories come flooding back to haunt me and I feel like I can't breathe. BUT, then I remember. I have Dr. Julie Kardon as my dentist now! And thankfully for the past 15 years!!! A miracle happened the day I called her office and met her for the first time. She could tell I was scared out of my mind. I hadn't said a word. She took hold of my hand and smiled at me, and told me "It's okay. I promise you. Everything will work out just fine." Dr. Kardon is the most compassionate person and such an amazing woman and the best dentist ever!!! She truly becomes a friend you trust. My visits and all procedures are no longer painful. She knows how to get her patients comfortable and most importantly numb. Her work is simply wonderful. I highly recommend her to anyone! Especially to someone who has a fear of having dental work.

Staff was accommodating to my schedule, kind, and patient- which was very much appreciated. Esma at the front desk was so sweet when helping me get in with a last minute appointment. Gia, the hygienist, gave me a fresh cleaning, provided me with education for better teeth/gum care and even threw in some freebees! Dr. Kardon was straightforward with my care, answered all my questions, and really took the time to explain my dental issues present to future. I have avoided the dentist for several years because of that fear, and I had no where to go when I broke a tooth earlier this week. I had been scoping out this practice for a while, and I was intrigued. This place is everything everyone says it is. Every one is kind, and non judgemental. Each person who helped me were amazing. Dr. Kardon is extra kind and gentle. I was immediately put at ease. I highly recommend!!!!!!! All of these five star ratings are real!

Experiencia fantástica: When our 8-year old had her adult tooth knocked out in a backyard baseball game, we knew difficulties would be ahead as a result of her extremely high level of anxiety and stress. What we didn’t know then, is that many dentist and endondontic offices and hospitals would decline to provide care for our daughter due to the combination of her anxiety, age, and an adult-tooth that had not fully developed yet. We were fortunate to have found Dr. Kardon after searching on the internet for New Jersey dentists who specialize in anxiety. After contacting her office, she brought us in for a consultation where she made us feel at ease – and more importantly, made our stressed daughter feel at ease. We knew it would be a long process. Her care, professionalism, and skill both in dentistry and working with highly stressed and anxious patients is a credit to her name and her office. They worked me in same day and took care of my problem even as a new patient! I cannot say enough good things about the office. HOWEVER, now that I've gone to TLC, I feel completely different. The women there are gentle, kind and don't judge like some other dentists/hygienists do. I really felt taken care of .. They went above and beyond when I had a dental emergency even staying after hours to help. I am just now leaving their office e to complete some major dental work I had been avoiding. A root canal and 3 crowns. Not only were they able to do it all in one session but I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a dental office. The staff are a group of incredible women that care about your level of comfort through the process. If you have a fear of the dentist and or need a practice that provides compassionate cars and sedation during procedures. Dr. Julie Larson D.M.D and the team at TLC Dental will be your perfect fit!

Dr. Kardon was able to alleviate majority of my anxiety to the point that I let her begin a treatment process for my teeth. She was very thorough in explaining how it would feel and what to expect while she was working. Everything went well and was everything I expected based on other reviews I had read. What really sealed the deal for me was the follow up call I received at 8:30pm, the same day of my service, checking in on me and making sure I was doing well and following the instructions. Experiencia fantástica: This is by far the best experience I have ever had with any doctors or dentist office and I went to many. First off they got me in for emergency call at 7pm at night I called at 630pm. Second all of staff was super friendly and funny. Lastly the doctor was incredibly gentle and awesome at what she does. The whole experience here was phenomenal. This will be my regular doctor from this point forward.

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to say how happy I was that I chose the TLC Dental Center in cherry hill. The office was so well kept, the communication all the way up to my appointment was tremendous and also how fast they got ne scheduled so last minute. The staff is phenomenal and especially the 2 special ladies who assisted the Dentist. I must say in a special post that the amazing young woman who was with me when I first arrived and for atleast the next 20 min relaxing my mind and just talking to keep me company was stellar. She is definitely one of a kind and hope I get her company again the next time I am back. Dr Kardon was out od this world..patient, understanding and answered all my concerns and questions with such a tolerable and amazing chair side manner. Please go there because they are in a league all their own. Thank you all again

Experiencia fantástica: This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I will never go to another one. Dr. Kardon is so good when she gives you a numbing needle you don't even feel it. She massages you gum and dose it slow. I'm so impressed. They put me on a plan to give me a Kodak smile. The other dentist Dana is really good aswell. I couldn't be more happy with the work I've had done. If you want professional and quality work and a dentist that will be straight forward with you come here. Remember you get what you pay for.

They were aware of my anxieties and put me at ease. I would highly recommend TLC Dental! Dr. Kardon also has her two adorable pups there which make you feel right at home.
