Derhake Dental

Experiencia positiva: The technician was kind and through. Doctor was informative and patient.

Experiencia fantástica: So far so good. Yesterday was my first experience at Derhake Dental with Dr. Claire. I called the office and the young woman who answered the phone was pleasant, she listened, and she answered my questions. Upon arrival what stood out was the staff is made up of different generations. For me, it offers a great balance. Old school and new school combo. Dr. Claire was polite and direct but not forceful and did not rush. Dr. Claire told me what I needed I told her my wants and she came up with a plan. Though I have a road ahead of me I’m excited about it. I look forward to a great smile. Edit- I’m coming to an end with the plan Dr. Claire and I came up with. Let me tell you…. No complaints. I was patient and let things move at the pace they should. Remember everyone. It’s your teeth. Your smile is what ppl will remember you by. There is no quick fix and it’s not cheap. With a solid plan, patience, payment break down, time, and a good dentist like Dr. Claire you’ll get your needs met. ~C. Rhodes

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit, I was a little nervous. I had to have a NEW crown. I am afraid of needles, ok. The dentist was the absolute best. NO PAIN AT ALL THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. I GIVE HER AND HER STAFF 10 STARS. THANK YOU!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend. The staff is the best the Dentist was amazing. The front desk was very transparent and very clear about dental payment. My 10 year old daughter broke her front tooth I called them a little before 8 she answered and it was fixed before 11am. I am truly thankful to all those women that work in that office.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely great. The attention they paid me was top notch. I was a new client and they made me feel like I've been with them forever. They resolved my issue in one visit. Great experience all around.

Experiencia fantástica: All the staff were very professional and courteous. The dentist was honest and straight forward. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. Experiencia fantástica: The staff does a thorough cleaning and exam.

Experiencia fantástica: From the very nice lady, who took my appointment to the aid and the doctor that took care of me, I cannot say enough good things about this Dennis office

Experiencia fantástica: It can be difficult to say "loved it" when referring to a dental visit...but Diane is the best! Since 1983 when Paul took over the practice from Dr. Riley, to Dr. Spring, it has been a wonderful experience! Thank you Connie, Linda, Kerry, Candace, Katrina, Paul over the years…and of course Diane.

Experiencia negativa: Beware if you are on Aetna medicare. This office was listed as in network for 2025 and in the directory for 2026. They insist they are not in the network so your copay is more. Plus you schedule with one dentist and they switch you to another and never tell you, the dentist does not introduce herself to you and you cannot tell because of their masks. When you bring to their attention that you went to them because you thought they were in network they are then rude to you and refuse to work with you and obviously have no interest of notifying Aetna that in network info is incorrect. I guess they can lure more patients that way. If you were a patient of Dr. Herrin be careful, this office is nothing like what Dr. Herrin's was

Experiencia fantástica: Been going here for years, everyone is great!

Experiencia fantástica: The doctors and other staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and compassionate! I’m thrilled that I found this dental practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Bedside manners. Fast and quality work! I went in for a second opinion after being told I needed a crown and left only needing a filling. Would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Erica and Dr Claire were great! I felt well taken care of and all my needs were met!

Experiencia fantástica: The office staff and dental specialist were attentive and explained the details of my treatment. I was given detailed aftercare instructions for continued personal care of my teeth at home. This was appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: Appts were on time. Took my husband and me at the same time which was really convenient. Always a pleasant experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit here today for my son Tyler. It was a great visit. Everyone was very nice and professional. I'm happy to tell my friends about this place. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I went in with a tooth that had been hurting and very sensitive to temperatures. Of course as soon as I made the appointment the pain went away. I knew it would only be temporary so I kept the appointment. Everyone in the office is super friendly and professional and It was a very calming atmosphere. Dr. Waldman and I decided the best course of action is have the tooth removed. The tooth was very stubborn and didn’t want to come out but ultimately it finally came out. I never felt a thing! As a first time patient you never know what to expect but it was a great experience and I look forward to getting back in and bringing my family to Dr. Waldman as well!

Experiencia fantástica: This was our first visit to Derhake Dental- the staff was kind and informative. We were able to get seen right away at our appointment time! We will definitely be coming back!

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff

Experiencia fantástica: I had a chip tooth fixed. They got me in one day. The assistant was awesome and funny. The dentist is an artist. The tooth looks and feels better than the original.

Experiencia negativa: My first time going there the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. As well as the dental assistant. The 2nd time I went back to get more work done I felt as if the staff wasn’t as friendly and welcoming as before. I felt uncomfortable because they seemed to be having more of a conversation with other patients as opposed to me, it felt forced and like they wanted to rush me out. I was supposed to receive recommendations for a dentist to pull a few teeth and have yet to receive a call for that or to come back for them to finish the work they started before. I was looking forward to continuing going there because it’s close to my home and I thought they were nice and professional people.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this place for all your dental needs. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They also made me feel very comfortable and gave me a full layout on everything I needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an emergency and they were able to work me in within the hour. The dentist and her assistant were competent and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Simply the best, better than all the rest!!

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit there and everyone was very nice. I got in for a chipped tooth that they fixed in one visit. Very happy with the results and experience. We’ll be making our appts.for all our dental needs there for now on.

Experiencia fantástica: I was nervous having not been to a dentist in a while but they made me feel so at ease. I left feeling much better about my teeth. Very thorough and explained everything and discussed plan for what to do next that I felt confident about going forward. Very nice and made me feel comfortable

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit was amazing! I enjoyed the staff they made me comfortable and made sure I felt safe in my environment. I had my wisdom tooth removed. I didn't feel a thing! No pain at all. I was educated with so much about my tooth, and bones I hate dentist appointments but I will be returning to have my other wisdom tooth removed in March. Thank you everyone for your professional support and services. I appreciate you

Experiencia fantástica: The hygienist is thorough, professional and genuinely caring. I recommend Derhake Dental for excellent dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: The moment I walked into the office, the waiting area made me feel right at home. That’s when I knew I was in the right place. All the staffs were so professional in greeting me. The Hygienist introduced herself, was very very courteous, professional, a very clean tidy room and informative. The duration of her working on me, she explained the reasons. She answered questions that I had in a professional manner where I understood. In my opinion, she’s a keeper for Derhake Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Derhake Dental is wonderful! I have coming here for years and hope that it never closes, as it is the best! The Dentist, Hygienist,Receptionist and Dental assistants are very knowledgeable and take the extra time to explain everything. Beautiful atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. As a teacher I would definitely give a Derhake Dental A+++(perfect). Because of all the excellent and great work that they do here at Derhake Dental! Outstanding! Thank you so very much Maura Crump

Experiencia negativa: Don't walk away...Run away from this office!!... So disorganized, broke tools in my mouth, horrible tooth extraction experience.. Dentist will leave broken teeth in your mouth during an extraction and it will get infected.. when you call them for help they don't call you back.. building is not handicap accessible... The office is a goofy house that is so disorganized and cramped..

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff and a knowledgeable dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Everyone is friendly, polite, Accommodating. A clean place to come too.

Experiencia fantástica: Diane Niven is a perfect hygienist and served me for about 30 years now. I also enjoy their staff as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Good cleaning, great staff, will be going back!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit to this office as a new patient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were very professional and thorough explaining everything in detail. I had a great experience. If you're looking for a dentistry that produces great results and has a soft touch this is the place.

Experiencia fantástica: Diane is the best hygienist I have had, she is very pleasant and thorough. I enjoyed meeting Dr Spring also.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful and welcoming experience with Dr Walderman. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I just love going to this office! They are so friendly and fun. I've been going there for over 25 years. Great cleanings and dental care!

Experiencia fantástica: I knew the office was transitioning to new ownership and was concerned when my cap came off. But no worries! Quickly got a convenient appointment. Luckily I had my cap, and it was intact. It was quickly dressed and put back in position. Look forward to continuing as a client.

Experiencia fantástica: Been a patient since 2009. Always great dental care. I will miss Doc Herrin now that he's retired, but Diane and several other great staff members are still around and all the new people have been great so far.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going there for decades and will continue. Having a dentist and staff that are wonderful and I can trust is the key!!

Experiencia fantástica: AMAZING Staff

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first visit as a new patient and it was great from beginning to end. Every staff member I encountered was welcoming and very friendly with a smile on their faces. That is very important to me in selecting where I go for services. I’m not a fan of “dental procedures” and I shared this with the staff…they remained friendly, validated my feelings (by talking with me throughout the procedure to ensure I was ok), and made my (dreaded) visit great! Thank You to all the staff at Derhake Dental!

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I begin! Dr. Spring and her staff are amazing. I typically visit another location of hers which is just as amazing but I had a dental emergency and she fit me right in without hesitation. I was warmly greeted by staff and eventhough I was fit into the schedule last minute, they did not make me feel like I was a burden to their day. No complaints whatsoever.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional very friendly and fast

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was very good. The staff is friendly, professional and caring about each patient.

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist was great however I wish they would have told me I was not in the network instead of giving me a big Bill. They knew I had Medicare. They worked it out

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was so helpful and understanding

Experiencia fantástica: They are totally the best Dentist Business in St.Louis

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was amazing. I had a dental emergency (I suffer from a serious medical condition as well), there was an appointment available soon, and I was asked if I wanted to come in right then. Every person working was very helpful, caring, welcoming and made me feel at ease. My regular medical condition was addressed before anything was done. It was easy to speak with all of them there. I felt like I had known them for years, but this was my first visit. I have expressed my pleasurable visit with friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you all very much. I have an upcoming appointment to hopefully carryout my future dental procedures and needs here.

Experiencia fantástica: I was able to easily schedule my appointment for a week out. The staff were all very nice and friendly and the office was very clean and well decorated. I really enjoyed my visit.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very friendly and polite from the receptionist to the Dr. I felt a very warm welcome from the time I entered the office. I felt all of my concerns was attended to.

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist and staff were excellent! I had an unexpected emergency with one of my teeth (the filling fell out and the tooth had cracked) and I was so when I called I was worried about how long it would take to get an appointment. They got me in right away and walked out with a temporary crown that day!! I am so thankful thar they worked so hard to fit me in so quickly plus they were able to save my tooth! Excellent service!!! Kathy Asikainen

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Worst communication of anyone I have ever seen

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff. Very competent and did a great job. I will definitely be using you Derhake Dental as my primary dentist going forward.

Experiencia fantástica: After a week of pain in 3 abcess teeth. I called and they got me in right away. I am terrified of Dentist. For last time my old dentist sent me to a oral surgeon to get two teeth pulled. It took him 45 minutes of tugging..I just left Dr. Spring at Derhake Dental and she had my 3 abcess teeth out in 2 minutes. I recommend her highly. She's fast ,caring and gentle.

Experiencia positiva: The employees were thorough the dentist was friendly. The only problem was having to pay immediately. I have never been to a dentist where that happened. People are not prepared for that. Otherwise I had no problem

Experiencia fantástica: What a Wonderful Experience! I had a dental emergency prior to leaving for out of town. Not only was I able to be seen immediately, Dr. Sarah and her staff resolved my issue very quickly. They were professional, polite and very thorough. I am so appreciative! Thank you so very much!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions, and did excellent work. They are very professional and willing to spend time with each patient as needed. I enjoyed their work ethics and their professionalism.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was so kind and helpful. I will highly recommend this office to all my family and friends

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience and care!

Experiencia fantástica: Everything was great. I loved the location and setup.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent,friendly service!

Experiencia fantástica: I received great service and felt very comfortable and welcomed. I will return for my next visit Thankyou

Experiencia fantástica: I always receive honest feedback on what happening with my oral care from the dental hygienist… 1st time meeting the new dentist who was very Personable. Overall great office staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the toothache from hell and couldn’t find an urgent care dentist to take me over the weekend. I called the office of Derhake Dental as early as I could Monday morning and they agreed to take me in for an evaluation. They did much , much more than that! The X-rays showed 3 teeth in real trouble and needing to come out. They numbed my mouth, extracted the teeth, and implanted bone grafts for future use. I won’t say the next couple of days were pleasant, but I knew that pain wouldn’t be coming back. The office staff and everyone I met, were warm, friendly and informative. Just like a family dentists office should be❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice practice. The tech Angel and Dr Spring were extremely kind to my son with Down syndrome.

Experiencia fantástica: Good seeing Diane last week & meeting Dr Spring for the 1st time. Very very nice & gentle on my 2nd appt when she had to fill a tooth & pull a tooth. I stressed over the procedure until the next week's appt asst held my had thru the extraction. Bless her heart. I've been coming to this office since I was a Jr in high school & now live in a Sr Living apt. My 3rd dentist in this office. Miss u Dr Herrin (u would have called & ckd on me that evening, ha ha). I keep coming to Dr Spring as long has I can do those darn steps!!
