Experiencia fantástica: I've never been a huge fan of the dentist & haven't gone in quite some time. I unfortunately had 2 molars crack within 3 days of each other & had gone to Aspen Dental because they were able to get me in quickly. Needless to say once I knew I had a little time to work with, I searched for a different place for treatment. I am SO GLAD I found this office. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I made the right choice. I didn't get the names of the ladies at the front desk but they were wonderful. Cassie was amazing and explained everything to me. Emma came right behind her when I was able to get things done the same day (pleasant surprise) and was just as great. Larissa ended up helping through the end and she was great as well. I can't speak highly enough of Dr Kordi. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I didn't once feel like he was trying to get me to do things I didn't need to do. He made sure I was ok through the entire procedure and was done much more quickly than I anticipated. All in all this was a truly wonderful experience and I am so thankful that I found this office. Thank you all!

Experiencia negativa: One dentist told me I had multiple cavities, but I went to a different location and they said I had none. Be careful with these visits — they will have you paying for work you don’t even need.

Experiencia negativa: I been going to this office for over five years. My outside an occasional lecture about my flossing my back teeth my experience was good. My first issue was although I conformed my appointment by text, I received a rude voicemail saying if I didn’t confirm my appointment they wouldn’t be able to hold my spot. I called and the one answered the phone said it was already confirmed my text. Came in everything was going ok. Music was great. I questioned about laying head down because sometimes they leave you in the position why prepping or talking . When I’m on that position a long period of time I get a little sick . I thought we moved past that . The hygienist ( older lady) looked at my shirt which said pray 3 times we small talked a little. Mind you most people nervous about the dentist. She drilled me about flossing my back teeth good or often enough . While cleaning my teeth she starts to cough a lot . I did turn my head quickly because if she’s using her same gloves to cover her mouth to clean my teeth I’m concern. She started yelling at me “ what’s your problem “ you had an attitude since you been here” I responded I haven’t said anything . ( I literally didn’t have much voice that day anyway) she said the little you said. Then she mocked me pray pray pray etc yelling . I said don’t do that. I asked her is that how you always talk to your patients. She said yeah when they are rude. I said wow. She yelled other stuff too. I was so shocked because I work in healthcare and our code of conduct wouldn’t allow me to ever speak to a patient like that .i tried to overlook this thinking maybe because she’s older but as an older person she should know how to talk to those she serve.

Experiencia positiva: Edit: the practice eventually did get back to me and met me in the middle with billing, so I will add two stars back. The price of getting fillings here was about three times the "estimated" price. I called their billing department to dispute this and they said they would "look into it" and never called me back. Go elsewhere for your dental needs. My husband uses Denzel Jines and never had this problem.

Experiencia negativa: Love being lied to by the staff. 2 months ago I said I needed a crown put in from a root canal. They agreed. It was an agreement that the next time I would see them, 1 MONTH LATER, that I would be getting a crown. NOPE. Just x-rays and piss poor excuses. Then when they schedule me on a date I explicitly said wouldn't work because of an ortho appointment, they reschedule me ANOTHER MONTH later. I basically told them my problem 2 MONTHS AGO and their response was WE'LL DO IT 3 MONTHS from now.

Experiencia fantástica: I was having some extra anxiety about having a tooth pulled today.The team at University Dental Care showed me so much kindness. Such as preparing me for everything to expect in advance, encouraging me when I ended up crying anyways, and most of all reminding me to take deepth breathes throughout the procedure. I've had some real bad experiences at the dentist. This was by far the best. Oh! And I also got an awesome pen gifted to me as well!

Experiencia fantástica: Last Friday, I started having mild tooth pain; I got through the weekend, and first got up early this morning to go to a different dentist, only to find out that they were not accepting any more walk-ins. When I got back home, I typed in dentists close to me.; I called the first number that came up on my screen. She told me that they could see me later today. Little did I know that I was five minutes away! I pass this dental office everyday!! CAN WE ALL SAY, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! The front desk "Queens" were very professional and not cranky, or narcissistic, like other dental offices that I've visited. The dental hygienist was a very goodhearted person! Her energy was very loving. The dentist came in and saw that I had a fractured tooth, and suggested that he pull it. It took a while, but he got it done. I think I was more afraid than anything because I have a great fear of THE DENTIST OMG!! My entire experience was amazing! I'm thankful that they did not make me wait until another day! THANK YOU ALL!

Experiencia fantástica: OMG I LOVE THIS OFFICE!! This was my 1st visit and the staff is AWESOME!! Melanie and Christina welcomed patients with a smile. My hygienist, Ms. Debbie was amazing. Explaining everything she was doing and why. And she is funny!!!! When her assessment was done she called in Dr. Mayfield and Wow he looked everything over and immediately set up a treatment plan. I'm so glad I chose this office as my last DENTAL OFFICE!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I was trying to get through the door with my wheelchair bound sister who’s appointment it was. Neither of the ladies sitting behind the desk watching lifted a finger to help. Desk staff very immature and not helpful at all. My sister needs almost 4000$ worth of work done which her insurance pays 100%. Considering taking her else where because of how todays visit went.

Experiencia negativa: This was my first time coming here as a new patient and I was highly not satisfied. I arrive 5 minutes before appointment and did not get seen until 25 minutes after. Then the lady in the front office had my I.D. and insurance card for the entire appointment. I was seen and never got my teeth cleaned which was the purpose of the appointment. My appointment lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes just consulting and pictures took to talk about my teeth but again that wasn’t the purpose of the appointment. When I got to the end of the appointment, my insurance was still not ran and I had to wait another 5 minutes until the front desk receptionist finally told me my paperwork was ready. I will not come back. I don’t recommend this place if you’re a first time patient.

Every year there is some mix up with me & my family’s contact information where the office staff calls one of my family members regarding someone else’s bill, service. Today I was provided a bill for $351 from 2018, when I’ve been coming to this office twice a year since 2014. No one ever told me of this bill, so where did it come from? Out of the blue? On top of that I was late for work waiting for an itemized bill of this hidden charge from 5 years ago that is beyond me. Anyway, current waiting on a call back to get this all straightened out. We shall see if they hold their end of the deal in regards to following back up with me. My hygienist Linda however is amazing.

Then ask are there any concerns. Then he will say let's get started and begin saying what he is doing and during the procedure he will say how are you during are you okay. University Dental is a good dentist to have.

The greet staff was very knowledgeable especially helping me fill out my paper forms on their tablets. The dental assistant was very professional and caring. She took her time and explained all the answers to my questions. When I met the dentist he took concerned time with me…not rushing me. He referred me to another dentist for the type of dentistry I will need. I will be coming back to University Dental Care after my dental surgery has been taken care of. Their office is very neat and the initial area in the building is actually huge with sectioned off dental rooms. I will be back mainly because the dental sections rooms are VERY, VERY CLEAN! If, you are their client they will not let you suffer they’ll have your back by supplying your needs. I woke up with a problem they worked me in. It was an abscess that needed attention. I feel better already.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been patients of Dr Uelk for many years. When he retired he referred us to University Dental. We reside in St Charles and did not realize how far we had to travel. My dental hygienist was friendly and very thorough and gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Dr Mayfield was professional and pointed out some problems. I just wish you were closer to us.
