Experiencia fantástica: Having previously worked in the dental field for ages, I have high expectations for a dental practice, especially for my kiddo. We are so happy to be a patient with Dr. Rae. She went out of her way to create such a positive experience for my little. We were delighted with our assistant/hyg too... I think her name might have been Amy (should have written this review sooner so I could give the appropriate shout out) I noticed some of the negative reviews were surrounding billing and insurance. I know this can be a frustrating experience for the patient. I just wanted to mention that a dental office is a 3rd party to your insurance and most dental offices process insurance as a courtesy. If you want to make sure you are in network with an office, please call your dental insurance and ask them... dental offices do their best to have the correct information, but ultimately it is the insureds responsibility to know their plan. With all of that said, my insurance is out of network with this practice but it is more important for me to choose where I want to go for the experience I want to have versus letting my insurance dictate that care that I receive. Anyways, if you are looking for a great experience for your little, give Camp Little Tooth a try :-)

Experiencia fantástica: Can’t say enough good things about Camp Little Tooth Tongue Tie an Airways clinic! After struggling to diagnose my kids health problems and not being able to figure out where to go, we have finally landed in the place where they get it. And it’s such a sweet place! Love Amanda, and everything is so well thought out. So grateful this place is near to us, seems too good to be true. Don’t give up, parents! And my daughter wrote this: “This place is the best it feels safe”

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, they take the time to explain things to my kids so they feel comfortable. Sara and the doctor did a great job on my 8 year olds’ sealants and small filling.

Experiencia negativa: Nightmare to deal with if you have kids with autism. They lost my appointment after I specifically scheduled first thing so he could get seen immediately after cleaning, had a very specific conversation with staff and dentist about this. Saw 3 kids in front of me, receptionist was new and didn't know system. Will not be going back, this was their second chance too.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rae does an incredible job creating a relaxed, comfortable, and friendly environment. My 6yo LOVES going to the dentist! Dr. Rae takes extra care to remember important details to follow up on and is encouraging of each child.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Camp Little Tooth! We have been coming to see Dr. Rae for about 7 years now. My not so Little girl anymore insists on continuing to go to Dr. Rae as long as we are able. The environment is so welcoming and fun. The camping theme is what grabbed our attention first. Montana, the therapy dog, quickly became our favorite part of every visit. ♥️ We now have our own training service dog and she was welcomed by everyone, including Montana. My 12 year old still enjoys the camp store where points are earned throughout the appointment to "buy" little toys and trinkets. We love feeling like family here. Camp Little Tooth has made our dental experience so much more pleasurable.

Experiencia fantástica: Camp Little Tooth has been amazing for my 3 kids over the years. Sara was absolutely wonderful with my son during a recent visit for sealant application. My son was really nervous and she was so gentle while talking him through each step. She allowed him to take frequent breaks and used several techniques to help keep him calm and comfortable. I’d highly recommend her for kids needing an especially gentle and patient approach!

The care and attention we received from Sara and Dr. Amy was amazing, and the office thought of every detail. Coming from a family of dentists, we have high standards, and we've been extremely satisfied with the level of care provided at this practice. We highly recommend Dr. Rae and her wonderful staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I am so thrilled that I found this dental practice. My daughter has severe medical anxiety and has a very hard time going to the doctor or the dentist. Dr. Rae and her staff are so accommodating and patient and willing to meet my daughter where she is at (even if that looks different from visit to visit). We were able to get through a full exam on my daughter's terms over three visits across three weeks. The therapy dog, and theme, and amazing staff are so great. Excited to come here for years to come. Would love to give 10+ stars if I could!

One of my kiddos had his first dental appointment there and the team took the time to make him comfortable and explain what they were doing at each step. He had a wonderful first time experience and this will likely shape how he feels about dental visits in the future. My older child had a negative first time experience at a different dentist office, so the team at Camp Little Tooth helped to ease his fears during his first time at their office. They really took time and care with him, knowing that he had fear from his previous visit with a different provider. I am extremely happy with the fantastic service and highly recommend Camp Little Tooth for anyone with children.

Experiencia negativa: Nightmare dealing with this place from billing to diagnostics to work. Put wrong crown on even after confirming with 3 different staff, 2nd opinions resulted in little to no work requested. will cancel on you when your en routw to appt and after arrival. No regard at all to customer time.

Experiencia fantástica: Outstanding and exciting! This pediatric dentist is one-of-a-kind. My young child has only ever come here for routine visits and absolutely adores it. Dr. Rae is professional and empathetic. The staff is efficient and kind. My child feels so safe and happy here-- they talk to her like she's the most important patient ever! We have had excellent dental care here and love the perks like camp tokens and prizes. Thanks for being part of the Lafayette community, Camp LIttle Tooth!

Experiencia fantástica: This place has great service and the Dr is amazing but the front counter staff is the worst I have ever encountered. They truly have made my experience there that bad that I feel obligated to give a review on my experience. The staff has acted like they can do no wrong and on every turn they made up excuse after excuse for there poor attitudes. The Dr literally had to contact just about every visit to apologize on her staffs behalf. Please Dr.Rae hire a new office staff to match your greatness.

Experiencia fantástica: TL;DR: This dentist is the best thing that has happened to my kid's medical experience. Frankly, I'm jealous that I can't be a patient here. Amazing. 5/5 stars. Long Version: I don't know how to express the relief and joy I feel at having found this dentist. I have a kiddo with diagnosed anxiety and sensory issues. She struggles with anything loud, weird, scary, unpredictable and especially anything medical. The dentist was terrifying. Then we found Camp Little Tooth. Camp Little Tooth has a whole theme: the kids are at camp. There's kayaks and campers and plaid blankets. There are screens on the ceiling so kids can watch movies while they lay there. Kids earn tokens and get to buy prizes at the end. Every dental assistant learns how to make balloon animals. There's a therapy dog. But it goes deeper. Everyone at this practice understands kids and knows how hard the dentist can be. They take their time and want each experience to be a positive one. Parents of special needs kids: you know that disapproving look/feeling you get from other people when your kid just won't do the thing that every other kid can do? And you feel sort of embarrassed? You will not get that look here. They get it. They'll wait. At the first visit, my kiddo could barely lay down on the table, much less have a cleaning. At the second visit, my kiddo could tolerate more, but the polishing was out of the question. But by the third visit, we were able to slowly but surely get every tooth cleaned, flossed and fluoridated. They carefully documented everything that worked for her in their file, so that we can be successful next time. Perhaps more importantly, the morning of the third appointment, my kiddo cheerfully told her school bus driver "I get to go to the dentist today!" At any other practice, we might eventually have been able to get her teeth cleaned, but at Camp Little Tooth, she's comfortable, relaxed and EXCITED TO GO TO THE DENTIST. I would strongly recommend this dentist for any child, but particularly children who have had or are likely to have difficult experiences at the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Camp Little Tooth does what it’s supposed to do: care for my kiddos mouths. Medical offices during Covid had clear rules and I appreciated how Camp Little Tooth tried to keep my kids safe while we were there. I did not want to suspend dental care during the highest Covid risk. Dr. Rae is a thoughtful small business owner and a very skilled doctor while she is also playing into her kid-friendlyness. I trust her with my kids implicitly. My only frustration, if I had to find one, is how long appointments often take. But that’s probably my own problem. I have never been disappointed with the level of care of my kids received. In addition to regular cleanings, Camp Little Tooth saw my daughter after a severe fall. She was cleared by medical but needed dental help. Dr Rae monitored my daughter’s teeth, took an x-ray, and gave us info and routines to help the teeth set back into place so that they would not fall out. She saw us in the evening because she wanted to fit us in. I appreciate all she does as a medical professional and as an office in high demand. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: A fantastic dentist with a very patient and attentive staff. The whole place is decked out like a camp, with lots of fun things for the kids to do. But beyond that, Dr. Rae is kind and gentle, great with kids. Highly recommended

Experiencia fantástica: We love Dr. Rae and her staff (especially Montana)! We have been coming here for several years after having a bad experience at a different Pediatric practice in Lafayette. Camp Little Tooth's staff have been nothing but kind, patient, and encouraging. The set up of the environment is so amazing, too. My little had to have a tooth pulled, which is a scary event, but little was brave and always looks forward to their visits. I'm glad little's experiences with dental work is drastically different from the traumatic ones of my youth. This is a fantastic place for children and I am constantly recommending them to friends and family.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Raelene Fulford is an amazing dentist and person. I wish I can give her 100 starts on here. I took my child recently to see her and I had a great experience talking to her. She is an incredible human being and have this positive energy all around her. She has an amazing heart for little children, and you could instantly feel that from the way she talks to the little ones. The place is much fun for the little ones, and I highly recommend Camp Little Tooth. The staff is incredible as well. Montana is cool. He came to great us right away. We had a very positive experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Rae since she opened her practice here. She is able to connect with kids and put them at ease better than anyone I’ve ever met! The theme of the practice makes the kids see going to the dentist as a fun experience not to be feared. My youngest needed an extraction to make way for his adult tooth and she put him so at ease that he came away saying “I barely knew she did anything!” We’re a loyal Camp family for sure!

I wish I had a dentist like this growing up, maybe then I wouldn't be scared as an adult. You can tell by the amount of thought they have put in to welcoming the kids in the waiting room, to the amazing exam canoes and the supper fun camp store! Every time we pass the office my little ones BEG to the dentist! I really can't say enough about the amazing care this team provides for my children! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rae is such a great dentist! She really truly amazing with tooth extraction. She was somehow able to keep my son calm before, during and after the procedure!!

Experiencia negativa: We have United and generally don't have to pay for cleanings. Unfortunately we had to over $300. We paid up front $200+ and then we paid again after the fact. UGH.... Got another bill! So now I'm looking at over $400 for dental cleanings for my kids. Just got our 3rd bill for another $355.00… I think my grand total is close to $1k for 3 kids teeth cleanings.

Experiencia fantástica: If all health care providers in the US had the bedside manner of Dr. Rae, this country would be the healthiest in the world. Dr. Rae recently went above and beyond for my son after he knocked a couple teeth loose. She saw him literally the next day, a credit to her and her staff for squeezing us in at the end of day. The office is completely tricked out for the kids too, with tvs on the ceiling, a ton of gifts and treats, a huge loveable dog roaming around, and she even can make balloon puppets! We moved 45 mins away but still take our kids there because they love it so much.

Every time I visit, I ask when they're opening an adult practice. From the thoughtfully chosen decor to the kind, incredibly kid-friendly staff, to Dr. Rae's knowledgeable expertise - it's a dream come true for my daughter's first dental experience. We're about to move 30 minutes away, but we will definitely drive back to Lafayette every six months for Camp Little Tooth!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was very fun and the staff clearly loves children and have a ton of experience with treating them. This was my three year old’s first trip to the dentist and she had a great time! Natalie was our hygienist and she took time to answer every question and make the experience fun and magical. We can’t wait to return!

Experiencia negativa: So disappointing. I've been bringing my children here for 3 years, with a fair amount of work done. My son was extremely shy at first and the staff completely turned that around. However, I have lost complete faith in the office and their ability to treat patients. After 2 years and multiple visits without discrimination, suddenly as everything is winding down they ramp up the fear and discrimination. If they can't discern appropriate risk (or lack thereof) how can I trust their treatment recommendations?

Experiencia fantástica: We love Camp Little Tooth. Dr Ray goes out of her way to make the kids comfortable, and the decorations and atmosphere does take away our daughter’s anxiety. She has no issues coming here. The staff across the board have been professional and extra kind, and we have not had any concerns here. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We drove 6 hours (round trip) to the only ‘holistic’ pediatric dentist in Colorado because my 18 month old had a serious tooth emergency. We came to our scheduled appointment, waited in the back room for 30 min before they came into the office claiming they could not see a relationship between the company and my family. Discrimination. Shame on you.

Experiencia fantástica: Camp Little Tooth is like the Disney World of Dentist offices. My children will forever love going to the dentist and taking care of their teeth because of this magical camping-themed kid-dreamland. The entire staff is professional, bubbly, helpful, and kind. Dr. Rae has put so much care and love into every last detail of her office, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The kids acquire wooden tokens during their appointment and get to turn them in for prizes, they get to lay on a comfy "canoe" and watch their choice of television show on the TV attached to the ceiling while their teeth are worked on, Dr. Rae and her staff even make balloon animals. My 7 year old has been going since she was small, and my 2 year old even loved it, they have a talent with kids. We were so sad we had to move away, but my kids will forever love taking care of their teeth because of Dr. Rae and camp little tooth!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dentist for kids! The staff are great with kids and the place is well designed to engage / distract kids. Having a dog there on certain days of the week is helpful as a distraction too! My 2 year old hates doctors and still cries when he gets his teeth examined but he does much better than he normally would because of all the little touches this place provides.

I really can't say enough about how thoughtfully they have planned the whole experience for kids, and I thought they received great care. They seem to understand how important it is for kids to not fear the dentist and work really hard to make it a positive experience.

The people are kind and funny, and Dr. Rae is very sweet and patient. Everyone is very affectionate with the kids. Another great plus is the decoration which is fun and creative. Experiencia fantástica: Where do I even start?! I was so nervous about taking my 3.5 year old... but this place is AMAZING! The doctor and her staff were so welcoming and all around great. The camp theme is super cute. TVs on the wall for the kids to watch during their exam. Disney plus to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The kids earn tokens that they can cash in at the end for prizes! My toddler was immediately at ease. When we left he couldn’t stop talking about how he can’t wait to go back... like what? That’s amazing. So glad I found out about this place.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is AMAZING! My son is 8 and suffers with social anxiety. He hates being around people he is unfamiliar with. The entire experience was wonderful. The staff were all extremely friendly and patient. The lady that did my sons X-rays and cleaning was fantastic. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, what instrument she was using, and what each tool did, to my son. He was so at ease and after being there 5min was no longer nervous. The dentist herself was extremely friendly and really took the time to explain her findings to me and answer all my questions. The facility is decorated like an outdoor camp. Each station the child goes to earns them a coin. At the end of their appointment the kids are allowed to trade their coins in to get toys from the camp little tooth store. There are even TVs on the ceiling for the kids to watch while having their teeth worked on..and each child is given a warm fleece blanket to cuddle with. I can’t express how much we love Camp Little Tooth! I recommend it to everyone. We will not be going anywhere else.

Dr. Rae personally called me back after calling the emergency line over the weekend when my one year old chipped his tooth and they squeezed us in first thing on Monday. The dental assistants were so wonderful and Dr. Julia did a quick exam to check everything out. Great all around!

My 2 year old, who normally fights toothbrushing every day, participated without a fight and even wanted to go back in after her appointment was done. Very developmentally appropriate approach. Team is friendly and professional. Covid precautions are being taken seriously. Not to mention the very fun camp-themed interior of the entire practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Rae and her staff have gone above and beyond to make sure that our kids have a great experience at the dentist! My kids are always excited to come in for their cleanings, even my youngest who is often very shy which can make medical appointments tricky. In addition, my 7yo son has needed quite a bit of dental work, and Dr. Rae helped us navigate our choices, even referring us to another local pediatric dentist who has a laser for alternative treatment. Dr. Rae truly wants her patients to have positive experiences while maintaining dental health, and prioritizes that over everything else. I'm so grateful we found Camp Little Tooth!

Experiencia fantástica: The best pediatric dentist ever - when we left today after our appointment my oldest said, “mom, I wish I could live there!” This is a very, very special place, Dr. Rae is gifted at making children feel supported and loved at the dentist. Its a great experience from opening the door to leaving. We are so happy we are campers here. We will never leave! Theres a place for everyone at Camp Little Tooth.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! I am so impressed with this office. I felt like we were the only patients there. They met us at our vehicle walked us in, asked us to wash our hands❤️ which I loved. They played and made sure my son was comfy before doing anything. It was so exciting to play with bubbles when she was all done brushing his teeth. Seriously wow this is the most amazing dental experience I have ever experienced.

Experiencia fantástica: Camp little tooth is amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming and kids are clearly their priority. Every detail helps kids (and parents) feel at-ease. My littlest even cheered today when he find out we were going to the dentist! I love that Dr. Rae and her assistants talk through everything, to both the kids and the adults. All options are discussed and they help you to pick the best that is for your family. We absolutely adore Dr. Rae and my kids no longer fear going to the dentist!

The setup/design of the space is really cute & their therapy dog Montana is so cute! Overall a great experience for our first visit to the dentist!

She is very detail oriented and really works with the parents goals. I literally wanted to cry because it was a night and day experience from seeing a traditional dentist. The hygienist were all so kind and sweet. My boys absolutely adored them. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares about your child’s overall oral health inside and out then this is the place for you. My family drove 9 hours to see Dr. Rae and it was the best thing we could’ve done for our kids. We’ve found their new dentist and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you all so much!

Experiencia fantástica: This place completely blew me away. A bunch of moms in my neighbor had recommended it and so I knew it would be unique but I’ve never seen a dentist office like this before. Every detail is meant to make the kids feel comfortable and take the scary out of the experience. I have a 3 and 4 year old and had bounce between the two of them during the appointment but they were so happy it didn’t matter. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a little nervous bringing my kiddo in for his first dentist appointment because he can put up a stink when we brush his teeth and also has a little bit of "stranger danger" going on right now. But everyone at this practice was welcoming and made him feel comfortable and went at his pace and he was calm the whole time. Nothing felt rushed. Everything was explained to us and we were given traditional options as well as alternative, more holistic, options. I never felt pressured into making decisions. It’s worth a bit of a drive to go and have your kids loving the dentist. Very excited to have finally found a great dentist for our kids.

Experiencia fantástica: Camp Little Tooth has been amazing. My oldest had a deep cavity & they listened to all my concerns related to our complex medical history and gene mutations. All went well & we went w the least invasive approach the cavity. My 8 year old felt very safe and the whole set up there kept my daughter engaged in the process.

My kids love the experience and rave about it for the rest of the day. Today after his appointment, my 4 year old said, “I miss my dentist already...”. One of my children has a lung disease and I have been extra cautious with him during the pandemic. Dr Rae made arrangements to see my kids at the least crowded time. I was so impressed by their above and beyond cleaning procedures and precautions for Covid. They made us feel very comfortable and safe. With each visit I have been continually impressed by Dr. Rae and the whole team. Dr. Rae approaches my kids’ dental health with a holistic and scientific perspective. She provides professional, attentive and individualized care. The staff members made sure my kids were comfortable and enjoying the experience. We’re thankful for such a great time at the dentist!
