Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Borg and his team were incredible. I have pretty high anxiety and was very nervous for my procedure. They explained everything and let me have my headphones in to relax and still stayed with me step by step. He was fast and through. My only complaint was the receptionist trying to help me schedule my follow up, i have a very busy work life calendar and she seemed annoyed trying to find a day and time that worked. Otherwise the entire BOH was simply incredible.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the first time I’ve had a tooth extracted and prepared for an implant. I had some anxiety and I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Rademacher is an excellent periodontist. He is compassionate and put me at ease. He answered all my questions and I felt confident that I was in good hands. Also, the procedure cost less than what my general dentist was going to charge me.

They made the surgery pain free as they sedated me this time which I did not get that option last time. Dr. Rademacher is an extremely caring, knowledgeable, dedicated and patient! When I first met him at my consultation I left there knowing i was in the right hands with my care!! He did not fail to make that a true statement!! I also received a phone call later that day after my surgery from him to check on me! Dr. Rademacher definitely needs to be recognized!! Thank you again for taking such good care of me!! I went back in on July 6 of 2026 to have my gums re-stretched- (2nd phase that I needed-not because of anything that Dr. Rademacher did or myself) he was very kind and gentle once again when I was getting numbed up and i did not even feel anything after that! After I was home and the numbness wore off then I was in some pain but they give you everything to help you through the healing process from pain meds, toothbrush, mouthwash and diet! Thank you again Dr. Rademacher for making this surgical procedure go as smooth as could be!! Recommend !!!

Experiencia fantástica: Full disclosure: I've not actually had the procedude yet; will update when I do. This practice is redoing a gum graft procedure by another doctor that went comically badly. The doc (at a different clinic) didnt warn me the procedure could be pretty unpleasant for some patients (I'd never had any anxiety about dentists before so I wasnt expecting to be that bothered by the gum graft). He told me ahead of time he was doing one type (which isnt approved in this country) and then told me day of he was doing something else. The procedure didnt take so he decided to cut other parts of my gums *afterwards* saying "ohh maybe this is why it didnt work" lol). He prescribed an antibiotic i was allergic to so I got a terrible reaction after (i didnt recognize the name so not entirely his fault, but the pharmacist did call him and tell him about my allergies/tell him that one was similar to one I'd reacted to and he assured her this one would be OK) and he never submitted info to insurance so it was all around a mess and ive had anxiety at every dental appointment since. I went into my consultation with this office talking a mile a minute due to anxiety and I left feeling so good about my upcoming procedure. I'll update later with outcome, but so far I'm so happy with this office and recommend them to anyone who needs this procedure and is nervous/unsure. Don't just let your regular dentist talk you into letting him experiment on you like I did (I didn't know thats what I was doing; I had never heard of a periodontist before).

Experiencia fantástica: I am so very happy to have found Colorado Gum Care and Dr. Rademacher. I first was referred to him when I had an abscessed tooth and my previous periodontist was unavailable. He made sure to get me in quickly and was able to extract the tooth that was causing problems. He saved me from a lot of pain had I had to wait through a long weekend. He is skillful and professional and follows up with his patients personally. He's placed a dental implant that has given me back the ability to chew and enjoy food again. And when I had to see him again recently, he and his office welcomed me quickly, efficiently and professionally to handle a separate painful tooth. I highly recommend Dr. Rademacher and the entire staff at Colorado Gum Care. I am very thankful.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow -- What a difference a skilled periodontist makes in a tooth extraction. Just had a failed root canal tooth removed and it was so simple and pain free. I was a tiny bit sore, but did not need to even take Advil. I did not experience swelling or discomfort. I appreciated that Dr. Borg personally called the night before to answer questions and then again the evening after the surgery.

Experiencia negativa: My husband had a great experience with all the staff at CO Gum Care until we were notified 6 months after his last appointment that none of the services were covered by insurance. He called ahead AND met with a financial advisor in the office who assured him services were covered, both times he visited the office. Upon receiving the bill we were notified that they check whether services are covered but not frequency. This is key in dentistry. Each plan has a different limit on frequency. When we inquired about the bill and a cash price or self pay option, we were told we had until it is sent to collections to pay it or we could reach out to request a payment plan. Now we are left with a large unanticipated bill!

Experiencia fantástica: I had gum grafting surgery and everything went extremely well. All details were discussed with me in advance, questions answered, and I got calls from Dr. Borg and the anesthesiologist the night before. I was relaxed, put under, and before I knew it, I was done! I followed all the directions and had no trouble at all the rest of the day, with very little swelling and no pain meds other than Tylenol and Advil that evening. This is the day after the procedure and, except for the stitches, all seems normal with no pain or swelling, and I am absolutely thrilled with the entire experience. I would very highly recommend CGC for this type of procedure. Thanks to them for making this experience pain and worry free for me.

The anesthesiologist and surgical assistant made me feel welcome and at ease, and Dr. Borg checked in prior to sedation to ensure I didn't have any concerns or questions about the procedure. He explained the procedure and helped to allay my concerns. I opted for sedation since I’m a nervous patient at best. The day after the surgery, I woke to find blood on my pillow. When I looked at the surgery site, there was a bloody mass that hadn’t been there yesterday. I called the office to explain my concerns and they were able to see me that same morning. Dr. Rademacher explained that a clot had formed which he was able to painlessly remove. My experience with Colorado Gum Care was excellent from start to finish, and I have the utmost trust in Dr. Rademacher’s expertise.

Experiencia negativa: False promises after false promises I’m not sure if Dr. Hyer is just money hungry, lacking Judgment, or both. What started out as a 9 month process has turned to 18. Prior to my last operation, she said that everything looked great and gave a very small possibility of another graft prior to implant, but said “I doubt that will be the case” according to her. Wake up to find no implant, no return of funds from a surgery not preformed, and a call from her saying it’s understandable that I would want to just give up and get a bridge. No communication prior and complete lack of empathy.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had 2 gum grafts done by Dr. Wheeler in the last 6 months and both went well. I had previously had a consult with a periodontist at another practice, and I just didn't feel comfortable with him. Dr. Wheeler has a great bedside manner and gives very thoughtful explanations. I immediately felt comfortable with him. His explanation of what was going on with my gums and what we needed to do made sense to me. The practice worked with me on the timing of my procedures for both my comfort and so I could maximize what insurance would pay for. The actual procedure took ~1 hour, total time in the office. It wasn't painful, but I was a little anxious anticipating that there would be pain. I would recommend bringing something to listen to to distract you and it helped me to bring in something to fidget with. For the healing process, I only ever needed to use OTC pain medication (and I am a big baby about pain). The protective putty that Dr. Wheeler put over all of the surgical surfaces was immensely helpful and I think that's a major reason why my post op recovery was so much easier than it has been for several of my friends (who went to different practices).

Dr. Rademacher insured comfort, understanding of procedure and all steps, and made sure we were given an estimate. I don't think there was a single missed step with Dr. Rademacher. His bedside manner is also the best I have ever come across in any profession. He also called later in the evening to check-up and make sure everything was still feeling okay or if there were any questions. He is incredible and would happily refer him to anyone requiring his specialty. Experiencia fantástica: I saw Dr. Rademacher in March for dental surgery to prepare for dental implants. My procedure involved extracting 4 primary teeth, bone grafting, and sutures. I had IV sedation and the procedure went smoothly with no pain afterwards. I saw Dr. R for follow up 3 weeks later and he was very pleased with my progress and healing. He has been very supportive and communicative with my dentist and orthodontist about my dental restoration. I am not finished with treatment yet, but so far I am very pleased with the treatment I’ve received from Dr.R and his staff. I truly feel cared for by CGC.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Borg and his staff were very good and patient with me. I had many questions and they took their time answer all of them. Dr Borg called me personally the day before and later the day of to see if all was good.

Experiencia negativa: This place was recommended to me by my primary Dentist for a gum graft. I had one earlier in the year and so before the surgery I wanted to make sure the procedure would be covered by my insurance. The billing lady mentioned that they would not be able to confirm before my appointment. They have a 7 day reschedule or cancel policy and will charge you $150. I was able to finally reach someone about my coverage, but unfortunately not within their timeframe. I called in on the 5th day to reschedule after the new year. You would think if someone is rescheduling a week in advance they would cut you a break. Especially, since you will be paying them close to $4000. Well not the case they would rather step over dollars to collect dimes. Instead of rescheduling I decide the only money they will get from me is the $150 + $80 office visit. I should have read the reviews before going to this joke of a business.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had two procedures done by Dr Borg and both procedures went well. Dr Borg makes sure you understand what the procedure is and talk you through it while he is doing. He calls you after the procedure to make sure you are doing okay. The check up call is much appreciated. The staff at Colorado Gum Care is excellent. They are very welcoming and personable. My experience at Colorado Gum Care has been great. I would definitely recommend them.

Kept checking to make sure I was okay and comfortable during the procedure since I couldn't get local anesthesia and was slightly anxious. She answered any questions I had prior to the procedure. She was super nice and overall had a experience!

Dr Rademacher wanted my wanted to save my tooth but after investigating the condition of the tooth and gums he explained all my options. During the extraction he was great, I was not numb enough and he listened to me . Through the process he checked to make sure I was comfortable and even asked if I wanted to see the tooth. When I had concerns after the extraction his team was thoughtful, caring and helpful. They were willing to schedule an appointment THe issue resolved its self. Experiencia fantástica: I was recently referred to Dr. Jenna Hyer at Colorado Gum care by my dentist in Boulder, Dr. Chris Kemp. I needed Gum graft surgery and a dental implant. I approached my my first appointment with considerable trepidation as I heard the gum graft was a painful process. I chose the full sedation which helped immensely. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional Dr. Hyer and her staff were. The process, including the healing went much smoother than I had anticipated. I am now in the process of getting the dental implant and so far it has gone very smoothly. I would reccommend Dr. Hyer and her staff for any upcoming periodontal work you may need!
