I have always been a bit nervous about visiting the dentist, but Lakeside Dental completely changed that for me. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by Kasia, the friendly front desk staff. The office is incredibly clean, and the team is so knowledgeable, patient, and checked in on me constantly to make sure I was doing okay. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make the environment relaxing and anxiety-free. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a reliable, no-nonsense dentist book an appointment here, you will be in great hands.

Experiencia fantástica: Lakeside Dental is the best dentist practice. I’ve been going here for 30 years (since I was 4 years old) and I won’t go anywhere else. The staff is amazing from the friendly front desk staff, caring dental hygienists, and skilled dentists. I have seen Dr Century since I was a kid, but now I have also seen Dr Patty and she is just as great. Chris was my technician and she is extremely detailed and my teeth have never felt cleaner. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dentist, you won’t find a better practice elsewhere. Thank you guys!

I really can’t comment because I’m so used to the previous staff that the new will take time to get used to. Here’s an updated review: they kept all the cool and awesome technology . If you are introvert, you’ll probably like it here bc the staff are really chatty and don’t ask a lot of questions to the patients. Previous review: I have been to alot of dentists over the past 14 years because I have been living out of state. I gave up on other dentists and now fly in once or twice a year to see Dr Century who has been my dentist for nearly 20 years. If you have pain, TMJ, sensitivity, any dental issues, etc. she will fix them for you better and faster than any dentist I have met. She has a wealth of information and experience. Great staff, too!

Experiencia fantástica: A check up and cleaning. They are very mindful of my special circumstances related to trigeminal neuralgia and are extra gentle. They are the best.

Experiencia positiva: As usual the staff was friendly and my daughter’s cleaning was well done. My issue is with the interaction at the front desk that was happening while we waited in the seating area for my daughter’s appointment. The representative at the front desk and the patient and his mother that were going through the adult “treasure chest” of rewards were in a loud conversation about drinking and not getting drunk the night before the young man’s dentist appointment. The front desk lady then gave the young man a mini liquor bottle. While I understand it was meant to be a fun interaction, in my opinion it was very inappropriate for a professional setting and I did not appreciate the volume of the conversation about getting drunk as well as the staff member handing out a mini bottle of alcohol while my 13 year old daughter and I were waiting for her 3:20pm in the afternoon appointment to begin. It was certainly not what I expected walking into a dentist appointment and I do not feel a conversation about alcohol is appropriate in this setting.

As a new patient, each procedure was explained in detail and I understood exactly what they were going to do, why, and during the process, each step was also explained. Doctor Century went over my x-rays in great detail. The entire staff was very respectful and I look forward to my future appointments.

The support staff are very, very, friendly and exceptionally professional. Then there is Dr. Century herself. She is the most knowledgeable, precise, and comforting dentist that I have known, and believe me, I have been to many. I also believe that she is a type "A" individual, but she is amazingly patient. She will take her time to make sure that your are comfortable, without pain, and you will know exactly what she will be doing. I had previous allergic reactions at dentists which kept me from going back, but I knew it was time. This office was so understanding and eased my nerves so much! They did a wonderful job explaining where my oral health was at which was luckily not bad. They just want to keep an eye on things versus other dentists who I feel treat things at the first sight of anything. Would highly recommend!! If it’s been awhile since you’ve been to the dentist don’t worry - this office is amazing!!

Dr. Century and her staff have shared their expertise and compassion with myself & my husband for numerous years. Recently Dr Century helped me with a problem tooth. On a Sunday I began having tooth pain. Through their convenient online appointment scheduler I was able to request a Monday appointment. After a thorough exam it was determined that the tooth would need to be extracted. Due to the close proximity of the tooth to the sinus cavity Dr Century contacted an orthodontist and arranged a same day appointment for me to have the tooth extracted.

Experiencia fantástica: The best. I used to fear going to the dentist. Today was gum surgery and they made it easy and painless. Update from my visit on 10/16/24. Dr Radon was incredible. Never felt the injections for numbing. No pain or heat while drilling. My teeth are very sensitive yet I felt no pain. She was very efficient removing my old fillings and cleaning up the decay. My bite is perfect now. I never thought I would trust another dentist other than Dr Century but Dr Radon is an equal. Of course the rest of the office meets the same high standards. Gigi was great. Anna did her usual exceptional job deep cleaning. Thank you Mariah for getting me in.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently moved to Lake Zurich and were in need of a new dentist. Lakeside Dental was highly recommended by our community Facebook group. It wasn't immediately evident whether or not they provided pediatric dental services for our two toddlers (who have never been to a dentist), but I was thrilled to learn that they do in fact accept all ages! At my first visit, I noticed an employee assembling goodie bags for kiddos as I was checking out at the counter, and of course inquired about their pediatric services. During my appointment, my hygienist, Kristen, was absolutely delightful and extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and personable. Dr. Century was equally personable and incredibly straightforward, and it was very clear that she is extremely passionate about what she does and enjoys educating her patients on their care needs. She is very transparent, realistic, and doesn't try to upsell you on anything you don't need. That said, they have the capability to perform just about any procedure in-office, and the nerd in me was intrigued by the new technologies they utilize in their office. I haven't had to deal with any dental emergencies personally, but several community members raved that Dr. Century makes herself available for sudden emergency situations. Having to avoid heading over to an urgent care center after dentist office hours is a HUGE bonus! To top it all off, the office therapy dog sat on my lap and kept me company for a portion of the visit. (Who doesn't love snuggling a therapy dog when they're at an obligatory dentist appointment?) I immediately knew my kids would enjoy this too. I sent my girls, age 2.5 and 1, for their first-ever dentist appointments with hygienist Kristen. They had an absolute blast and got tons of goodies and puppy snuggles. No tears or residual anxiety whatsoever, which is an ideal experience to set the stage for a lifetime of future dental appointments. My girls have been brushing the teeth of just about every stuffed animal throughout the house since their visit at Lakeside Dental. (Not so much their own teeth, but we're working on it ). Thank you so much for making our experience so positive. It speaks volumes when a healthcare practice takes the time and added effort to make sure their patients are comfortable and in our case, also entertained! Love you guys!

Mariah - patient services, Kasia - office manager, Lynn - hygentist, and of course Dr. Century - DDS. Each and everyone was kind, professional, and you could tell they love what they do! Mariah made me feel welcome as soon as I came in the front door. Lynn did a great job with xrays, cleaning and letting me know what each step/procedure was for, how it would feel, and what other options were available if they were less than ok. Dr Century impressed me with her technical skills and ease of explaining it all to me. Kasia explained payment and plan options which are perfect for me. I have to say I am very pleased with my new dentist/team and very glad to have them keeping my teeth and health a top priority.

I haven’t gone back in a long time but I had a problem that made it impossible to ignore. When I entered the office I started to cry immediately, almost everyone even a patient consoled me. I was even given a puppy to hold while filling out forms. The dentist and dental hygienist were so understanding that I couldn’t help but feel comfortable. I finally found the most perfect dentist ❤️

You are not rushed, yet they stay on time, great scheduling of appointments. Pain free dentistry is their stated goal. This appointment was for a cleaning, which I do every six months. After the hygienist has finished cleaning Dr Century comes in to review any comments from patient or hygienist and to look inside your mouth for anything unusual and an oral cancer check. Highly recommend Dr Century and the team of skilled professionals who work there.
