Working with our patients with special needs is near and dear to my heart. Creating positive experiences and providing the care they need in a comfortable environment along with the trust gained from their parents knowing I'm doing what is best for their precious children brings me joy. Patient safety is a priority when treating children both physically as well as emotionally. With that in mind, we never hold children down and restrain them when they are screaming or moving. For those few patients we reserve the option for a sedation to complete necessary treatment and get them out of pain.
