Experiencia negativa: i would not recommend beachside. Beachside was my dentist for almost four years. I had some good experiences there. It wasn’t all bad, but overall I’m not happy with the place and I wouldn’t recommend it. About four years ago I went in for a regular checkup and they told me I needed a crown, so I got it done. Around the same time my wife went there too. They also told her she needed a crown and some other work. I don’t remember exactly what the other procedure was. My wife was skeptical. she did not think she needed all that work done. so she went back to the dentist she had been using for years and got a second opinion. He told her he didn’t think she needed the crown. not sure about that the other thing was she cant remember either. She never got it done. Four years later she still hasn’t needed a crown. At the time I remember thinking maybe I should have gotten a second opinion too, but I didn’t think that much about it. Then there were the hygienists. They changed hygienists a lot over the years. A few years ago I had one who was way too aggressive with the scaling tool. She would poke me in the gums pretty hard, apologize, and then do it again a few minutes later. One day she started cleaning my teeth, poked me almost immediately, then did it again a few seconds later. I got up and left. They called me afterward asking what happened. I told them I wasn’t going to sit there getting stabbed in the gums for an hour. They set me up with somebody else. The next hygienist was great. No problems at all. Then a few months ago I went back and she was gone. New hygienist. Within about two minutes I’m thinking here we go again. Same kind of thing. Very aggressive with the tools, poked my gums a few times and I asked her to please be more careful. She basically told me she had to do what she had to do. Then almost immediately it happened again. So I got up and left. Again. At that point I figured maybe me and Beachside had reached the end of the road. I found another dentist closer to my house and the hygienists there have been much better. To be fair, Beachside did some things well. They did a good job whitening my teeth. I was also pretty happy with my Invisalign overall. There was one tooth that never really got as straight as I thought it would, and during the process they would put those little attachments on my teeth and they would sometimes fall off within a day or two. That happened quite a few times over the two years. After Invisalign the dentist suggested veneers. I’m sure veneers are great for some people, but I’m 53 years old, I still have all my teeth except the one with the crown, and I’m pretty happy with what I have. I’m not looking to have somebody shave down my teeth so I can have a mouth full of brand new fake-looking ones. So when she suggested veneers I said something like, yeah, I’ll think about it. Next thing I know there’s a guy standing there with a clipboard and a treatment plan for five figures asking me to sign it. I’m like, man, I just told her I’ll think about it. I’m not signing anything today. He pushes the paper and pen back at me and tells me I can sign it and it doesn’t commit me to anything. At this point I felt like I was buying a used car. I was waiting for him to ask me what he had to do to get me into a new set of teeth today. He did not get the signature. Even after all of this I probably still would have said Beachside wasn’t terrible. Just not the place for me. Then today I get a collection notice over the cleaning appointment I walked out of after being in the chair for maybe two minutes because I didn’t want to keep getting poked in the gums. That pretty much did it for me, before i would t go back but no hard feelings. now im pissed. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before I did the crown after almost four years, a bunch of different hygienists, Invisalign, whitening, a five-figure veneer sales pitch, walking out of two cleanings and now a collection notice, me and Beachside are officially done. Would not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I have always had great experience with the practice. In the past 3 years, I would say they have out performed my expectations and been very consistent and flexible as needed. Lilly is really wonderful and personable, she takes her time to clean and make sure you are well taken care. My entire family loves the practice.

As a retired hygienist, I know what to look for. This was a superb experience! 7/30/26 update!!!! Liz was my fabulous hygienist today!!!! She was so professional and gentle, can’t wait to see her in 6 months!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: The WORST experience we have ever had at a dental practice. We switched dentists because we were tired of our previous one always trying to “sell” us on unnecessary treatments. Was hoping this would be better, but turned out to be worse. I made an appointment for our son for a cleaning. He went to the cleaning, came home and they had given an estimate for filling two cavities, a retainer and a cleaning treatment. They scheduled an appointment for the fillings. We did not want any of the other two items on the estimate. Before they started the process of filling the cavities, my son even double checked with them and made sure they were just doing the fillings, and not the other two items on the estimate. They said “yes, just the fillings today”. Then proceeded to do one of the treatments we did not want for $120. We call the office to complain and ask for a refund of the $120 for the treatment myself nor my 18 yr old son gave consent to do. My husband spoke with the office manager Katherine, she was EXTREMELY rude and refused to refund us because she said our son is 18 and he shouldn’t have let them do the treatment. My husband asked her if they made it clear to our son that they were doing an additional treatment after they already told him it was just the fillings. She replied with “I don’t know the ins and outs of his appointment”. And refused to refund us the $120. Never in our lives have we dealt with such unprofessional attitudes at a place of business. And a practice that blatantly steals from their patients after doing treatments we never even asked for!!!!! Do not trust this practice!

Experiencia fantástica: Dental work has always been one of my biggest sources of anxiety—physically, emotionally, and financially. My experience at Beachside Family Dental completely changed that. I had a root canal and two crowns done by Dr. Juhasz and his assistant, Kayt, and the entire process was seamless, virtually pain-free, and far less stressful than I ever imagined. The friendly banter between Dr. Juhasz and Kayt kept me distracted and at ease throughout the procedure. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care made all the difference. I can’t recommend Beachside Family Dental enough. Thank you for making such a nerve-wracking experience a positive one!

Experiencia negativa: Every time I visit this dental clinic, the pricing seems to fluctuate, and they attempt to charge exorbitant amounts. For instance, this week I came in and they wanted to charge me $211 for a dental cleaning, which is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, they try to upsell me on various services even after the initial charge. Last time, I had a cleaning for $106, and now they are trying to charge me $211 for the same service. Be honest with your pricing and you will retain customers and get better reviews.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible. Before my first visit, I had no pain or problems at all. After my first appointment, where I had two fillings done, I started having issues with my gums, and a gap appeared between my teeth where food constantly gets stuck. My wife also had a very frustrating experience. It took more than a month just to get her crown made. The first time she came for the appointment, she was told that the crown wasn’t ready. The second time, they said there was something wrong with the crown. Then they scheduled her for another appointment a month later.

When the dental hygienist finished my teeth at 8:35 she said my regular dentist no longer works Wednesday and the other dentist doesn’t get in until 9:00. How come this wasn’t said to me prior to my arrival? My time is valuable too!

They don't drum up the charges as one place I went to. That place wanted to do braces on my teeth for thousands. I already had braces in my 20's. I was 75!!

Most people don’t understand insurance companies want to pay as little as possible to dental practices. Dentists get the short end of the stick and it’s not their fault. They then did not honor my insurance contracted rate, failed to bill my last visit claiming I’d exceeded coverage, and has ignored my calls and refused to provide an itemized bill or any refunds. I’ve had to escalate to my insurance company to resolve it. Avoid.

Experiencia negativa: This dental office has been the most frustrating, disorganized, and misleading experience I've ever had with a dentist. I spent the last 2 years trying to work through the issues I've had with them but I am finally done. Main issues: 1. Scheduling. They'll schedule for an appointment months in advance then change the appointment via text or voicmail without your approval, and won't give you enough time to respond. Once, I recieved a call the day before in the middle of the work day, where they gave me 2 hours to call back to confirm the change before canceling the appt. 2. Misleading information. I underwent invisalign with them and recieved the barest amount of information about the process and realistic time frame for the treatment until after I had paid and there was no option but to proceed. The information they gave beforehand gave me a short time frame and had minimal impacts, which was vastly different than what I endured. 3. Unnecessary dental recommendations. I was told (and scheduled without consent) for a filling for a cavity that was not fully formed. When I asked for a second opinion, I was told it had not reached cavity status yet, so it was unecessary to have it drilled and filled. Overall I feel like this office is primarily focused on their sales and not their patients and they cannot schedule things for the life of them.

Experiencia negativa: I initially loved this office and even left a positive review, but unfortunately it has gone downhill over the past year. There seems to be a significant lack of understanding when it comes to billing and insurance. We’ve been charged for services that were not performed, and the billing amounts often don’t align with what our insurance shows as covered. Each visit now involves a back and forth to resolve these issues, which has become frustrating and time consuming. At this point, it’s simply not worth the hassle.

Experiencia negativa: It really is cliche, but it is a shame that Google does not allow zero or negative stars. My wife confirmed a cleaning appointment about two weeks in advance but somehow missed a second confirmation about two days out. The staff was rude and condescending, treating her like a common criminal and finally asked her never to return. Quite the business model. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I am extremely happy with the Dr’s & tech staff treatment. When I recently broke off one of my permanent teeth that had a crown on it, I worried about getting a scheduled appt and I worried about how my tooth loss would affect my upper partial denture. The front office staff immediately took me in to an examining room. Senior technician Victoria immediately took an X-ray of that area of my upper teeth where the tooth was missing. Dr J came when called by Victoria and immediately examined me and quickly offered two options: (1) leave the root in & have an additional tooth added to my upper partial denture, but that would be “just kicking the can down the road” adding that the root left would eventually become infect resulting in serious dental surgery; or (2) extract the root and apply bone graph to build up the bone plus adding the additional tooth to my partial denture. The first option would be less painfull; the second option, extraction would eliminate any future complications involving the root. I chose the extraction option and was surprised that the pain was minimal. After the extraction Victoria made casts of both upper & lower teeth/gums and placed an urgent call to a nearby lab to pick up my upper denture and add a new tooth to to fill the space of the missing tooth. Victoria followed up with the lab and the new upper partial denture was delivered back the next afternoon. The response of both Victoria & Dr J is why I rate this dental care office with a five-star rating.

Experiencia negativa: I had 2 small cavities that needed to be filled. We were leaving for the summer to our lakehouse in a few days so I mentioned that to the dentist. The entire procedure he and the hygienist were chatting at a level so distracting that I was uncomfortable. The minute I left the office I knew something was wrong. My tooth felt 3 times the size of my other teeth and I was numb from the Novocain for 4 days! I called and they just explained how it takes time to get used to it… I am now out of town and have the most painful experience eating and chewing until I get back. It ruined my entire summer. I’ve had to go in 4 times to have it adjusted (and they just keep saying how normal that it), I can’t chew on the side of my mouth AT ALL and my sensitively is through the roof. They also charged me over $200 and said my dental insurance only covers silver fillings…which is not the case. I’ve never been so disappointed with a dentist in my life. And when I called to cancel my cleaning and tell the receptionist that I will never be back to that office she just said “ok great thanks!”. I’m sure they’ll leave one of those generic “we stive to exceed expectations” responses to this, but there’s no need.

Experiencia negativa: In the fall of 2024, I had a chipped premolar that caused so much pain. Went to this dentist and got a crown put on it (probably needed a root canal then). After the appointment, I was in excruciating pain for weeks. The first few days following the crown, I could not sleep and was constantly crying in pain. Oral gel from the drugstore and extra-strength pain relievers helped minimally. I went to see them multiple times following the appointment, to which they said I just needed to get used to it and they shaved parts of it down to fit it better. I had to take time off work each time and even stayed home the day following the crown. I was made to feel like it was me being overly reactive and sensitive even though an abscess had formed. The male dentist adjusted it twice even though Dr. Trikha had been treating me and was very kind and gentle so I would have much rather preferred he. He seemed annoyed to be seeing me again and was very short with me. Fast forward over a year, its in just as much pain as before and I am going to a new dentist who is performing a root canal since the infection got so bad. Hopefully it is able to be saved... If I have to get it extracted, I will be incredibly upset seeing as I paid over $2,000 out-of-pocket for a crown that caused more pain than the initial tooth injury even after going back multiple times.

Experiencia negativa: Their predatory behavior for sales is out of control. The staff is all about selling additional services to the point where they won’t even perform the basic appointment. They transformed a cleaning to a whole $200 up-charge. Come here if you want to throw money at them. I wasted an hour.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to let others know about this office. I Tried very hard to love this office after having to move after having the same dentist for 25 years. I first tried the office in the plaza next store and they quickly closed so I moved my family to Beachside. They have been wonderful clinically and horrendous otherwise. I had an ongoing billing question regarding my husband which started almost a year after services were rendered. We paid prior to services being rendered and then for some reason a bill was issued after. I had many conversations with them and as always told they would contact me back with further details. They never called back and kept issuing more automated message for the same bill. In the end, no resolution and I paid them but it still didn’t add up. I mentioned how disappointed I was with the way the office, including how the manager handled the situation. I was shocked to find out those two neighbors had the same exact experience. I already booked out appointments for next year, but I will be cancelling and moving to Southlake, which is what many of our neighbors have done.

Experiencia negativa: 2 Stars due to super friendly staff, including Drs but there has to be accountability for the lack of insurance knowledge and treatment completed incorrectly. There's one Dr in particular that is not knowledgeable at all. Work has been done and re-done and is still incorrect. We followed up with 2 other dentist offices to confirm this prior to jumping to conclusions. Then you have the front desk staff handling insurance approvals, payments and write-offs... no good. They are constantly making mistakes. I really wish this weren't the case. We really like this office but with the crazy abundance of dentist offices in the area there's no reason to continuously go through the trouble they cause. That's not even to mention the harassing text messages. Yikes they get crazy! Sad to go but we have no choice.

Experiencia fantástica: Not a fan of going to the dentist and my longtime dentist retired and I struggled to find a new dentist. I came across Beachside Family and gave them a try. They got me in for a cleaning and new patient appt did all my X-rays and cleaning pain free. All staff were so welcoming and kind. This was a great choice and I am thankful. Experiencia fantástica: I haven’t gone to the dentist in over 2 years. I came for a cleaning and knew I needed a lot of work completed. The front staff immediately greeted me and my family. They worked with me on the best treatment plan, finances, and even gave my poor 4 year old lunch because of all the dental issues I needed fixing. I have never experienced the most professional, caring, and fast service in all the years I have had my teeth worked on. I am a very very picky customer when it comes to any work being done on me. I am happy to say all four of us and hopefully I can get all my friends coming to see Sheila, Dr. Juhasz!! Absolutely phenomenal work! No pain whatsoever. I had one root canal and three fillings! Thank you so so much for helping ease my pain and anxiety through it all. I felt like I was at home.

Experiencia negativa: If you want a cleaning don't go here. Being former car salesman they use the same tactic that the dealership does and it's sad just wanted a cleaning. I have never had cavity in my life and never had issues with dentist but staying away from st john's County seems for the rich.

What stood out the most was how gentle and thoughtful he was, ensuring I had no discomfort at all during the procedure. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything he was doing and provided valuable recommendations for my future dental care. His attention to detail and clear communication made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Jay was equally fantastic, offering expert advice and care. Experiencia positiva: I had an appointment was 10 minutes late, they cancelled my appointment. I rescheduled for 2 months out.. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment walk in, they cancelled my appointment because I was never told I had to confirm my appointment. I’m very disappointed. I’m now 2 months past my cleaning and will have to find another dentist. We all have busy lives and schedule our day very tightly so for this to have happened is a huge inconvenience. Especially since they never said “if you don’t confirm we do cancel you” There should be a little flexibility understanding you’re working with human beings and not robots. Very very upset!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Kirk J. was a life saver. I had a very difficult extraction with a molar whose root was calcified into the bone. An hour long struggle with tugging and drilling left me thinking I was going to be in extreme pain. Dr J packed the bone full of grafting material and gently placed stitches and gave me very clear instructions. Took his sweet time with not just the procedure but with me and my son who had to sit through the entire process… I woke up the next day with no pain, no swelling, not even sore. I am truly amazed and blessed that it a good experience because the is could have been really bad with it having been such a difficult extraction. I definitely recommend Beachside and Dr J!

Shelby, the dental technician that I have seen a couple of times asked me about my kids and some changes I had planned on making last time I was in. She inquired how the changes were coming along, as well as how a vacation was, which was something that I brought up a year ago.
