Experiencia negativa: I was given a treatment estimate stating that my out-of-pocket cost would be $0, so I agreed to proceed with the treatment. However, after the treatment, I unexpectedly received a bill for more than $1,500. I immediately contacted the office to ask for an explanation because the amount was completely different from the estimate I was given. Unfortunately, it has now been over two months, and despite multiple inquiries, I have received no meaningful response or resolution. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and follow-up. Patients make treatment decisions based on the information they are given, especially when it comes to cost. I hope the office improves its billing transparency and responds to patients in a timely manner so others do not experience the same situation.

I received a tooth extraction procedure last year and had a bridge replacement surgery just last week. After each procedure, my healing journey is quick and fluid. I can return to my normal life tasks and responsibilities without missing a beat. Recommend their dental practice 100%.

Experiencia positiva: I had a good cleaning overall, but my experience afterward left a bad impression. The hygienist recommended fluoride treatment and a gingivitis rinse, which I declined because I’m currently saving money while buying a house. When she asked if I was sure, I politely said yes, and her response felt like a scoff or laugh, which made me feel judged for not purchasing the additional services. At checkout, I was also encouraged to schedule my fillings. When I explained that I needed to wait because I’m in the middle of purchasing a home and trying to keep expenses down, I again felt like I was met with an attitude rather than understanding. I completely understand that it’s the staff’s job to recommend treatments and explain their benefits, and I have no issue with that. What I do have an issue with is feeling uncomfortable or judged after politely declining optional services due to financial priorities. Patients shouldn’t feel pressured or embarrassed for making decisions that fit their budget. A little empathy and professionalism would have made this a much better experience.

Found this place online and thought I'd give it a shot. 10s across the board for them. Everyone there is very nice. Broke down the treatment plan. Pulled my molar which was a breeze. Definitely recommend getting their savings plan. Without it the plan would be close to 18000 dollars. With the savings it's only going to be 6500

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from Ideal Dental. I went there for the first time Feb 2026 looking for a new dentist. After taking XRays my insurance was billed for X-rays I did not request or approve. They billed my insurance for over $1400. My insurance only paid $184. I left the office and did not get any service done after they wanted $1800 for teeth cleaning. You will walk away frustrated just like I am right now. Make sure they tell you if insurance will pay. I ended up with a bill and did not have any work done at all. As I said at the beginning stay away.

Experiencia negativa: Pros: clean facility with up to date technology Cons: will try to upsell you any chance they can, tell you that you need cavities filled when a) no cavities or b) such small spots that they will pressure you to have filled where most dentists (and we got a second opinion) will tell you that’s not the case. And probably the worst part is when you do get those cavities filled that they recommended, it will be done so poorly that you have to go back to get them to fix it. This was my husband’s experience but when I went in for my cleaning and waited 45 minutes to be seen, we cut our losses and switched dentists.

Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely disappointed with how this office handled my experience. I was not informed that they were no longer in-network with my insurance before treatment. I paid the amount they quoted at the time, assuming it was accurate, only to receive a surprise bill later due to their out-of-network status. I spoke to Ms. Ruby twice, and she told me it wasn’t my responsibility and that she would take care of it. I appreciated that at the time, but months later, when I tried to make a new appointment, I was told I still had a balance, meaning nothing had been resolved. Another staff member said she would look into my account and call me back, but I never received a follow-up. This is incredibly unprofessional. There was zero communication about the insurance change, and now no one is taking responsibility for the mistake. I trusted this office and felt completely let down. Be very careful if you choose to get treatment here, check everything yourself, because they clearly won’t.

Experiencia positiva: I love this location. I have been to another and they were helpful and kind... but this location is the best. I went through chemotherapy not too long ago and my teeth are pretty much ruined. They have given me a lot of advice, have helped me out a lot, and have given me a lot of direction about next steps. Absolutely love Dr. Ganapati, every hygienist I have had, and the office staff. I am giving 4 stars because I am a little unhappy about one single incident. I bought PreviDent 5000 toothpaste from them. The last 2 I got were from a different location, always mint. I didn't even know there were other flavors, so I didn't check when I bought this one from the Buford location. I opened it, squeezed it onto my brush, and it was pink... "fruitopia" flavor. Anything other than mint really grosses me out and doesn't make my mouth feel clean. I called to see if they will trade it and they won't. I will never use this and wasted $25 on it. I'm really disappointed as I need this toothpaste to slow down the decay. Big let down. Everything else has been great.
