Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience at Coast Dental! I had a crown from another dentist that cracked in half then fell out and Coast Dental was able to get me in the same day! There front staff greeted me with a warm welcome. The dental assistant and dentist were absolutely amazing in their care and bedside manner. They even squeezed me in a few hours later to help readjust my temporary crowns after all the numbing wore off. I highly recommend Coast Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: I truly had a great experience here. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year and honestly thought everything was fine but I’m really glad I came in from the start. Ms. Natasha, the dental assistant was incredibly patient and informative. I had to get a filling here and the office was super accommodating in getting me scheduled to come back the very next day for it. The dentist who worked on me was just as patient and understanding. He listened to me and made sure my bite felt right, adjusting my teeth based on my comfort and preferences. I appreciate being heard and having my own teeth respected instead of just being told to ‘leave it to the professionals,’ especially when something didn’t fit right to me. Overall, a great experience I’m grateful to have been referred to this office, will be coming back.

Experiencia negativa: I came to get some fillings done and the dentist there seemed really inexperienced. The first hygienist i had also seemed really distracted and inexperienced. The whole staff feels like they don't know what they're doing and are just kinda winging it. The back also feels kinda messy and had me questioning the general hygiene of the place. I had to come back and get them to fix one filling cause I couldn't floss between two of my teeth. Even after "fixing" it, I still have a hard time flossing between those, but I'm sick and tired of dealing with it so I'm just gonna make do.

EVERYONE was pleasant,helpful and friendly. Especially Ms.Meline,Ms.London and Ms.Kat. The Hygienist was PHENOMENAL!!I had to have deep cleaning and was fearful of needles but with great care I didn't need to receive a needle for numbing.She was very patient and gentle.My mouth and teeth feel amazing!! I can't stop smiling and looking in the mirror. The Dr.was great as well even though he's a Falcons fan.(Go Birds) I'm proud to say I've found my new dentistry home!!! Experiencia negativa: The office manager was very rude. I made an appointment 5 days before. The person who made the appointment told me pleaseant hill 8am. I get ther its closed until opening at 8:30am. I received a call at 8:31 saying this is coast dental you ate late for your appointment just like that no good day or no introduction. My reply was “ im in front of the office this office is closed. Person said” your appointment is for Suwanee location i told her I didn’t know that. She immediately replied “ well this is your second time” i said wait! This is my husband and i first time our annual exam at that we have never been here before. I dare you to try to scold me about an appointment . She said well i see your last name. I said last name have nothing todo with anything check our dates of birth. I asked ro speak with a manager she laught and said she’s the manager. Then In replied i will need to speak to whom ever is in charge when i arrive. We arrived the service was horrible she was laughing with another young lady behind the desk my husband wrote our names down i say down she asked if i wanted to see the dentist agter i had already well my husband had written our names down. The whole way she was acting wqa unprofessional. I just ask for our is and insurance told them we will not be seen today and we left. I would not refer anyone of my family or colleagues to go there! To each it’s own!

Kayla and London in the front are always amazing my hygienist cat is always a pleasure she is so gentle yet gets my cleaning done! Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment at this location for my first visit. A couple of days prior, I received a call that the doctor would not be in that day, and that I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled to the following Friday. Now I’ve received another call saying that I have to reschedule again. Nope, not happening. That was the second time that I rearranged my work schedule just to be told I couldn’t come in. I cancelled the appointment and I will find another dentist who actually wants my business. To any new patients considering Coast Dental, I’d advise you to look elsewhere.

Starting with the front desk staff, I was seen right away, and the new Dental hygienist was pleasant, gentle, and professional. Experiencia fantástica: I had a periodontal maintenance cleaning today by Kywana. These are not something to look forward to, but she made me feel very comfortable. My teeth were very clean and smooth after she was done. Natalya at the front desk was able to get me in the same day after a scheduling mixup. She did this all so effortlessly and with joy. Dr. Batterton performed the exam professionally and made me at ease with his sense of humor. I look forward to my next appointment!

Experiencia negativa: It has been two years since my first review which I have deleted and I am changing from a 5 star to 1 star. Our favorite hygienist has left. A dentist is only in the office 2 days a week so if you have problem good luck. Our last cleaning the dentist was not there so no one checked our mouths. The office routinely cancels and changes appointments without asking us. My husband had an appointment to get a crown replaced, they changed it to another day and time, and we only found out when they sent out the reminder with the new time /date. The temporary crown fell off in the car ride home. When my husband called them, he was told him the office would be closed the next day. They were less than helpfu since they just didn’t care. He ended up watching a YouTube video on how to glue a crown. He went to Walgreens and bought his own cement. Today he had an appointment to get the permanent crown in. He had an appointment at 9:00 am. Last evening at 4:56 pm someone from Olando, Florida called to say the crown had not come in, but would be there by 10:00. It is 10:45 and he is still waiting in the office. The crown finally came in, it does not fit. They need to start all over again. This is our last appointment at Coast Dental. If you don’t mind DIY crowns, or crowns that don’t fit, waiting in the office for your dental needs/cleaning, constantly having your appointments cancelled and changed without your permission and a dentist who is only in the office a couple of days a week this is the place for you.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time in this office as I'm looking for a new dentist that takes my insurance. My previous one dropped insurance after 6 years being there. I was welcomed kindly. The dental assistant was pleasant as she and I conversed some while she took the x-rays. Then Dr. Park saw me. I appreciated her attention to some detail of a certain tooth. She was knowledgeable, kind, and didn't push trying to get specific things done. Then I saw the hygienist who was careful scraping tartar near the gums and did a thorough job. No one tried to sell me things that weren't necessary as I've experienced in some other chain dental offices. I hope to be with Dr. Park many years.

Experiencia negativa: I was sent a bill of outstanding balance a few weeks after a routine cleaning. Called the office to discuss the matter, as I was told it was covered by my insurance; the front desk woman that I spoke with was incredibly rude and impatient. She said "oh my gosh" under her breath when I asked if she could confirm what I was hearing and then proceeded to raise her voice at me. Will not be returning for multiple reasons including rude service, uninviting environment, and questionable cleanliness. If you've been to a private practice dentist, the difference in quality is huge! My husband and I got a few cavities filled here in February and the areas filled were not shaved down properly and are STILL bothersome, as if the cavity is still there.

Experiencia negativa: Extremely rude service. The “manager” Melinda or something like that, is unprofessional . The lady who took measurements of my gums was extremely rough. When I got my wisdom tooth pulled I kept getting hit on n the roof of my mouth while she was pulling. Hard to describe but it’s definetly my worst experience I wouldn’t recommend .. and they’re expensive but I paid cash, insurance might be different

Experiencia positiva: Overall a great experience at Coast Dental Suwanee.The office was a bit outdated and dusty but the treatment and care received was excellent (hence why only 4 stars). It always costs me a pretty penny when I go in for my biannual cleanings/checkups because they have specific treatment plans, such as periodontal treatments, that you must adhere to, to be serviced by them. A little different than what I am used to but it is certainly in the patients best interest. Received great education on the current health of my teeth and how to preserve them given my treatment needs. My mouth feels amazing and I know what to expect for the next visit. I would recommend.

She educated me on some tips I can practice at home so that my teeth can continue to stay healthy. I felt safe and will definitely be returning for another cleaning.

It was my first visit and I did plan to be there longer than normal w/ X-rays, Doctor exam and Hygienist exam. However, I waited way longer to be seen then I expected, BUT...as soon as Dr. Park came in to do my initial exam, she apologized for my long wait and appreciated my patience...it had been a busy morning. I really appreciated my wait time did not go unrecognized and that is great customer service in book. Kenya the Hygienist was nice and thorough and I would have been able to get my cleaning the same day but one of her appointments ran long. I was given my treatment options which included what my insurance covered or discounted and I made my cleaning for next week. I look forward to continue getting my dental services here.

I am very pleased because an infection was discovered, and promptly treated. My experience was so impressive, when I returned home my three children were immediately scheduled for appointments. No more Kool Smiles for them. This will be my family's dental home for as long as we remain in Gwinnett county. Thank you for the excellent care!!! Today was my follow up cleaning, and exam. Now, who doesn't dread going to the dentist? Let me be first to say that I don't. My experience today was more like a therapy session. I felt very comfortable as Aynalem worked her magic. The conversation was also very informative. I look forward to going to the dentist now. I followed up today (2/19/2024) for a scheduled cleaning; what else can I say? If what I have said above is not sufficient to convince you to bring your teeth to Coast Dental Suwanee, then you are not listening or reading. This is an exceptional practice. My experience was even better than my original visit. Thank you for the professional cleaning and the preventive care.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't do well with dental work and it's hard for me to feel at ease when getting work done on my teeth. With that being said, the staff was amazing. From the receptionists in the front to the tech and the dentist. Very compassionate and caring. I had 3 teeth removed (molars) and am going back in January for a bridge to be put in. Suwanee Coast dental is my new dental home and I will continue using them hence fourth. I would recommend them to anyone!

Experiencia negativa: I had a toothache that was getting more painful everyday. After doing some research I came across Coast Dental Suwanee. I saw that they had great reviews so I decided to book an appointment for that Friday May 6. By that Thursday May 5 I was in so much pain that I called the office to see if the dentist could see me sooner to help relieve the pain. They were able to schedule me for that day. Everyone was so welcoming when I got to the office and they got me back quickly. The dr took X-rays and saw that the tooth that was causing me pain had an infection and that I could either have it pulled in her office or go to an oral surgeon and have the root canal and crown redone. I opted to have to tooth pulled just for some relief. They came back with a treatment plan and wanted to pull the infected tooth that day. I explained that I had to return to work and asked if they could give me something for the pain and I would schedule it for my next day off. They seemed disappointed that I wasn’t able to have the procedure that day. The dental assistant gave me some scripts for pain medicine and antibiotics. After some thought I decided that it made no sense to be in pain for another week and scheduled the procedure for the next day. The following day I was in even more pain and was just ready to get it over with. However I had decided that I just wanted to have the infected tooth removed and come back and have the wisdom teeth removed later. I told the dental assistant and the dentist my wishes but they didn’t seem to want to honor my wishes and essentially pressured me into having all four teeth removed. I continued to say I only wanted the infected tooth removed at the time. The dentist reluctantly said ok and began to numb the area around the infected tooth. She then said “because of the infection it would take a little while for the numbing to take effect and we should just numb the top and pull those two wisdom teeth.” Irritated that I was not being heard I reluctantly agreed to let her just do it so she would stop pressuring me. She pulled the top two teeth and then moved to start on the infected tooth. I told the dentist that I was still feeling pain in that tooth so she gave me more numbing and then began the process of removing the tooth. Immediately I felt sharp pain and made the dentist aware. She administered more numbing and proceeded to pull the tooth. Still in excruciating pain I alerted the dentist yet again that I could still feel pain. She applied more numbing and attempted to continue. I asked why I was still feeling pain and she said because of the infection sometimes the numbing doesn’t take. She again started to try and remove the tooth and I was still in excruciating pain and at this point I am crying. She told me to “breathe” and ripped the crown off. I am screaming at this point, she administered more numbing and said she would give me a minute. After about 5 minutes she came back to remove the infection. Mind you the numbing is still not working and I am still crying, at one point I sat completely up in the chair and almost knocked the tray over. She administered more numbing and proceeded to pull the root out, I am crying and saying no no no, it hurts. She said “breathe” and ripped the infected root out. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had having a tooth pulled. Had I known that the numbing would not take I would have asked to be sedated. But I feel like as the dentist, she should have stopped when she saw that the numbing wasn’t working and offered sedation.The only reason I didn’t just walk out was I didn’t feel like had any options and based upon their behavior I didn’t think they would let me leave. Needless to say I do believe I have ptsd from this experience and I will never be able to set foot in this office again. Honestly I don’t believe that I could ever have another tooth pulled under local anesthesia again without having a panic attack.

Experiencia fantástica: I have yet to be disappointed by my visits at coast dental in Suwanee ! I’m always greeted with such delight and the hygienist is amazing . The dentist makes sure to discuss everything with you. You can tell that they are a team and that’s what matters! I won’t ever be looking for a new dentist office!
