Experiencia fantástica: Our daughter came in today to have her supernumerary tooth removed by Dr. Jo, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the initial consultation, Dr. Jo was incredibly knowledgeable. What stood out to me the most was that he made direct eye contact with my daughter and spoke to her about what was going to happen. So often, providers speak only to the parents and leave the child out of the conversation, but Dr. Jo made sure she felt included and understood the procedure. That made her feel comfortable and at ease. The front desk staff were all friendly and welcoming, and scheduling the appointment was very easy. Dawn, Jasmine, and Alli were fantastic throughout the entire process—from scheduling, checking us in, reviewing the treatment plan beforehand, and checking us out afterward. Everyone was organized, professional, and kind. The office is clean, the clinical staff are professional, there's plenty of parking, and the waiting area is comfortable. I also want to mention how quick the procedure was. The surgery was over before we knew it, and the patient pick-up process was easy and well organized. Before we left, the staff took the time to thoroughly review the post-operative instructions, answered our questions, and made sure we knew what to expect at home. We're grateful for the excellent care our daughter received and highly recommend this office. If you're looking for an oral surgeon for a supernumerary tooth extraction, wisdom teeth removal, or an impacted tooth extraction, we would absolutely recommend Dr. Jo and his team.

Experiencia positiva: They were extremely efficient and fast. I don't believe I spent more than 20 minutes from start to finish for two tooth extractions. Dr. Jo did a great job, but he's not big on bedside manner. He was polite and great for the procedure, but once it's done, he's out of there.

Experiencia fantástica: I usually don't say any kinda dentist is awesome, but AOFA is awesome! Dr Joe is a miracle worker from implants to oral surgery. He really has the best bedside manner explains everything that makes you feel confident and comfortable. He extracted a wisdom tooth that was close to the sinuses and the pain was unbearable! I called the office He got me in 1st thing in the morning and pulled it. He put me asleep and before I knew it, it was done. Completely pain free I was in and out within 35 minutes. Highly recommend Dr Joe, trust me he's the best!

Experiencia negativa: The doctor was very insensitive with personal information, and severely misinformed about a lot. I had my finger sliced open instead of a usual prick for a blood sugar check. Wasn’t even professional enough to apologize or talk, just walked out the room like a child. Would never step foot into this particular office again.

Having a truly caring dental office is very important for your dental health. Trust me, there aren't many great dentists out there. Experiencia positiva: I was a return patient with them. I remember they were very friendly and professional. I chose to return for my wisdom teeth consult. My experience was not right. I walked in with very unfriendly staff with a judmental face. I was like is ok, I am here for the oral surgen, so I dont care about their receptionist. This is the disappointment part, I was soo looking to meet Dr. Jo. He walked in rushly, ddi't ask for my name or verify my patient info, jump straight to read my x-ray, looked into my teeth, go stright to his surgey plan, and he walked out. He did't try to listen my consern about getting IV sedation, didnt ask me any questions. That was 3 minutes. Most of my questions and talk was with the assistance. At the moment, I lost trust. I was here for second opinion, and I am glad i have seen my primary before coming in. Once i walked to the biling department, I knew they over charged. What decided for me to write this review was, the billing asked me to pay my visit up front, which I did, I have reciept, they also printed me a copy of the biling. 40 days later, I recieved another bill from them asking me to pay. I was on the phone for 30 + minutes, and no one answered the phone.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT TRUST FRONT DESK WOMEN. That women does not know what she is doing when it comes to medical billing. We signed up for care credit and payment went through successfully but that women made us come back again 2 weeks later because payment is pending which is a lie. Talked to billing side person, she said there is no issue and payment is all set. Ridiculous. Now my wife has to wait for 2 weeks having pain having broken tooth inside her gum. Well played

Experiencia negativa: I did not have a satisfactory experience with Dr. Belifante. The care was not very personalized, as the doctor seemed to be rushing from one patient to another. Additionally, there was an error in identifying the correct tooth for insurance purposes, which caused delays and complications. As a result, I had to wait several months to continue my treatment. For this reason, I decided to have my remaining implants done elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm 27 years old getting my wisdom teeth out now lol. I gotta say was nervous walking for the surgery but I came out feeling great for some reason. I thought there would be a lot more pain but I feel like could go back to work 2 days post op. Not to mention I had my consultation not even a week before. Dr. Jo was very professional and you can tell he was an expert because it was supposed to take 45 min for all four of my teeth but my roommate told me she waited 25 min for me. He is a doctor that has a knack of making the patients feel comfortable. Even during the surgery, I didn’t feel any pain. If anyone is needing treatment from an oral surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Kim. Additionally, he is fluent in both Korean and English, so there were no communication issues. Experiencia positiva: I want to be honest about a recent experience that I’m still trying to process. On one hand, Dr. Chris Kim is undeniably competent. He has every degree imaginable, and his medical expertise is evident the moment he walks into the room. My procedure was extremely fast, uncomplicated, and almost painless. On the other hand, his practice felt completely cold. Everything revolves around efficiency, volume, and money. There was not a single trace of compassion, empathy, or basic humanity — what is medically known as TLC (tender loving care). Honestly, a block of ice would have felt warmer than the environment I was in. During the procedure, due to extremely difficult personal circumstances I am currently going through, I broke down into uncontrollable tears. The doctor’s only concern was whether I was crying because of physical pain. When it was clear that it wasn’t clinically related, he simply continued as if everything were perfectly fine. There wasn’t a single comforting word. Neither he nor his assistants offered me even a tissue — much less a “you’ll be okay.” The procedure took less time to finish than it did to begin. I was still in the middle of my emotional release when the doctor walked out, saying only, “We’re done.” No “thank you for your trust,” no “my assistants will give you aftercare instructions,” no “I’m sorry you’re going through this.” Nothing at all. The assistants were no better. One left the room without saying goodbye. The other was in such a rush to get me out that I wasn’t given even a moment to compose myself. I was handed written instructions not in my language, while they were recited rapidly without pauses, explanations, or confirmation that I understood them. I was still wiping my tears with my hands while she stood at the door holding my belongings, repeatedly asking, “Are you ready? Are you okay? Are you ready?” A simple “I hope you feel better” would have been far more human. Once in my car, I realized I was bleeding and producing excessive saliva. I was choking and knew I wouldn’t make it home safely, so I returned to the office. The gauze was soaked and needed to be changed, but I couldn’t speak because I was choking. I wrote a note — in my language — asking for help and explaining that this was an emergency. The only person who could translate was on the phone scheduling a non-urgent first appointment and never asked for a brief pause to help me. I waited nearly 10 minutes while still choking before another assistant finally came to help. At least this one took the time to better explain and demonstrate my after care. Clinically, I have no complaint about the doctor. In fact, I will be returning for another procedure. Emotionally, I now know to expect to be treated by what feels like androids rather than humans. For that reason, I feel it’s important to say this clearly: If you are going through significant stress, depression, PTSD, or any emotional vulnerability, I would not recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm a huge baby when it comes to oral surgeons... to be fair I have had some very painful and traumatic experiences in the past with having tooth extractions... the last one I went to jerked my tooth out while I was awake in tears and kicking around in the chair... needles and pain are not for me. However this time I was backed into a corner as I've been going through rounds and rounds of antibiotics trying my best to avoid the inevitable. I finally broke down and made an appointment with Dr. Chris Jo as I have been having to sleep with ice packs night after night in tears and just couldn't do it anymore. This morning I even tried to find bad reviews in hopes that I could find a legit reason to just cancel at the last minute with no luck... all great reviews ... so I went through with it. I was terrified of what was about to happen although this time I chose to be put to sleep. Dr. Jo's team jumped into action within seconds of me sitting down in the chair and I had my blood pressure and heart monitor hooked up by one team member while another one was getting the IV hooked up, Dr. Jo stepped in to ask how I was doing... I was in tears apologizing for my lack of self control because I was definitely losing it.. but everyone was on point like a perfect machine despite my fear and nervousness. I had time to cough once... just once!!!, and it was lights out for me. The very next second I had two ladies helping me into a wheelchair, and then helping me into the car!!!! I wasn't sure what had just happened? What?,.. we were done??!!! Why was I freaking out?... Talk about a painless experience that left me scratching my head! I caused myself WAY more pain with my own anxiety than anything else. Thank you Dr. Jo (and the whole team) for jumping into action and being there for me when I couldn't be there for myself. I fell into the best oral surgeon's hands around today (thank God!!) and won't hesitate to schedule right away in the future. I am very, very grateful for the care I received. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been pain free all day eating a few chocolate frostys and am still so very confused on how that is even possible. No ice packs for me tonight Dr. Jo and his team are phenomenal and incredibly talented. Thanks again!!! Frank Leathers Update Visit #2: My first visit/previous post was back in 2023 I believe, and it's now January 2026. I needed to get another extraction done and today was the day!!! I made sure to book my appointment with Dr. Jo again since my previous experience went so well and I knew everything would go smoothly. They brought me back this morning and within seconds of sitting down, they started hooking me up... There was a blonde haired nurse with blue eyes (was all I could see was above her mask) talking to me while everything was being hooked up to my arms that really helped calm me down quite a bit cause I was a nervous wreck again (still no idea why, since I knew I had nothing to worry about). They were hooking me up onto the monitors (for heart rate & blood pressure I assume), and next they got the IV installed, shortly after that Dr. Jo mentioned to me this was to calm me down and that I may feel a little bit itchy (I think was what he said, but wasn't sure)... I felt a cold sensation shoot through my arms and torso (just a cold feeling, but not actually cold)... Anyways, the very next second I opened my eyes asking the nurse sitting next to me "did he say this was to calm me down" cause I wasn't sure... She picked up her phone and started asking my wife to pull around, telling her "Frank thinks we haven't started yet" Then I noticed I did have some gauze in my mouth that was NOT there before. Apparently we had started, and finished, and I assume Dr. Jo was onto his next patient... anyway, I hopped (with help) into the wheelchair, put my jacket back on, and we were headed home!!! Second visit went just as smooth as the first visit... Dr. Chris Jo and his team are my heros!!! The nurses and staff are amazing, I can't say enough good things about them.

Experiencia negativa: Had two wisdom teeth removed and the surgery went fine but the service in my opinion did not live up to their stated philosophy on patient care. When I asked about what the procedure entailed and what was going to happen (this was my first surgical procedure and I had no idea what was about to happen) I was simply told that my blood pressure and iv were being started. Nothing past there would be given. Furthermore, employees are not personable which did not ease any anxiety or create a sense of care. I simply felt like another patient for them to get in and out. When you state that the goal is to alleviate anxiety and create a family-feeling during care, it should be lived up to and was not.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! Went to get a procedure done that I paid out of pocket $750 too much. I have been contacting the office for over a month now. My initial call was November 13th and I have always been nice and patient with the staff but evidently they think its okay to keep people's money and lie to me telling me its been sent, then the second time I was told they have to wait for payroll when my check has no reason to wait for payroll. The third time I was told it would be sent out and it wasn't. I PAID MY BILL IN FULL WHEN I GOT UP OUT THE CHAIR, THEY DIDNT HAVE TO CHASE ME FOR THEIR MONEY BUT NOW I HAVE BEEN CHASING THEM AND WAITING NICELY FOR OVER A MONTH. At this point I dont know if they will ever give me my money and I dont know who to talk to to fix this because the front desk and billing teams unwillingness to help has left me exhausted and I could really use my money right now.

The surgery was quick, and I was asleep the whole time. I felt a bit sore and swollen for a few days, but the pain wasn’t too bad and the medication helped. Recovery took about a week. I stuck to soft foods and followed the aftercare instructions, which helped a lot. No major issues like dry socket or infection. If you’re nervous, don’t worry too much. It’s not fun, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be.

I had initially scheduled to go under anesthesia to have my wisdom tooth taken out because I am Big Chicken and SCARED of pain and I was referred for surgery because the root was too long and the tooth had grown crooked ..Upon arrival and speaking with the receptionist Dawn she convinced me that Dr. Kim is the best, which I knew because I researched his back ground before I got to the office. When Dr. Kim walked into the room, he entered with so much comforting experience, his demeanor, attitude, expression telling me everything is going to be okay. He was caring, gentle...I did not know my tooth was out....he said you are all done. Thank you Dr. Kim for the amazing experience. I will definitely refer you to my friends and family.
