Dentistry of Sugar Hill

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. and office personnel were very professional and friendly. I love my dentist office.

Experiencia fantástica: Super gentle and really friendly - important when stressed out about possible pain and tooth emergency! They worked with my insurance so I had no copay (it will depend on your insurance). But they also have options if you don't have insurance! I highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience always.

Experiencia negativa: You honestly don’t want to know what I think of this place But I will tell you that Yes the staff is friendly and Dr. Carter is patient but I would not recommend Sugarhill Dentistry for dentures so far I’ve had nothing but a nightmare my bottom ones don’t fit correctly and they always pop out and that Carter just says put denture cream in it. No, that’s not the way it should be and even when I do, they don’t stay in my uppers are very very loose. I made a big mistake coming here for dentures and do not recommend them to anyone

Experiencia fantástica: I had a smooth and easy experience on my first visit with Dr James Carter and all the staff were very accommodating. So thankful that they have an availability on the same day as I’ve been in so much pain and my dentist couldn’t get me in until the next day. I was needing to have my tooth removed and Dr Carter referred me to a specialist who is also available that day! So that was a blessed day for me! Thanks to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: As always excellent people Dr Carter has made me so happy. Smiling again. Thank you see you in a few weeks.

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit and I was quite impressed, everyone was professional and polite. My hygienist Phyllis was great and made me quite comfortable. Dr Carter was also great checked my X-ray and explain everything thing to me so I could clearly understand. Going forward this will be my dentist. Wish I knew of them before. Thank you all for the great service received

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Carter and his entire staff are the best. The most warm, patient and caring group of people you will ever find. A different dentist messed up several of my crowns and Dr. Carter took me in and got me back on track. I can’t recommend Dr. Carter and his entire staff enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Another great visit. Feeling lucky I found the practice

Experiencia fantástica: I am a long time patient at Dentistry of Sugar Hill. I have complete confidence in Dr. Carter, and his is staff is always friendly and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best dentist and dental team ever! Dr. Carter is professional, personable, and incredibly gentle. One of the things I appreciate most is how conservative he is with treatments—he only recommends what you actually need, so you know you can trust him completely. April, the hygienist, was also amazing for my first visit with her. She was super gentle, very knowledgeable, and answered all of my dental questions. The entire appointment was pleasant and the cleaning was absolutely incredible. Jennifer at front desk is very friendly, sweet and helpful , always taking the time to explain the treatment plan in detail, and the insurance coverage , answering all possible questions. Everybody in this office is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: Always friendly and good service. Willing to work with patients and structure a plan that works best for their clients .

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Carter is wonderful, I feel very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Carter is the best dentist I have ever had

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I have been going to Dr Carter for over 10 years. Dr Carter, his office staff and the hygienists all do amazing work. Plan to see them again next week,

Experiencia fantástica: Professional, courtesy, caring, and on time.

Experiencia fantástica: Roger was quick, efficient and no pain during my teeth cleaning. Very personable as well. Dr Carter is very patient and has a terrific bedside manner. Great experience!!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent care! Very compassionate. They do such a good job that I’ve had good check ups for the last 7 years! Thank you to Dr. Carter and my hygienist Roger! Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is great, customer service is and has been exceptional. My entire family has seen dr Carter now after we all had been with our prior dentist up to 40 yrs. My teeth look and feel better than they have in many years. Can’t say good enough about Dr Carter, his staff - esp Jessica and Jennifer and another girl that I can’t remember her name. And the technology that is used is amazing! I also have been extremely please with the 2 different specialists Dr Carter referred me to. Can’t go wrong with this group!! Thank you for all you do! (Lisa)

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed everything about my experience. From entering to leaving, everyone was kind and provided lots of insight every step of the way to ensure that I knew what was going on and what things I can do to avoid problems down the line. They worked great with my son!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Carter and staff always do a great job.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so glad I found this dentist office The staff is very friendly patient in the dentist miracles

Experiencia fantástica: First visit, everyone was very friendly. They made sure to fit me in since I was in pain, did a thorough examination, scheduled my procedure and gave me cost information. You could tell they weren't judging you for your dental health and I felt at home.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Carter and his team are the absolute BEST!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff and would recommend Dr Carter the Dentist!!!

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give Sugar Hill and April Powell 10 stars, I would! I have always been absolutely terrified of the dentist due to a lifetime of negative experiences, making me incredibly reluctant to try anywhere new. But April completely changed the game. She is an absolute rockstar, so patient, incredibly informative, and she completely put my anxiety to rest. I have finally found my forever home for dental work. If you're nervous about dental visits, look no further. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Experiencia positiva: I called yesterday to get a appointment to replace a broken filling , they were able to get me in today and I was in and out in less than an hr . Great Job and I agree everyone there is spot on. Awesome Job !

Experiencia fantástica: I needed to find a preferred provider and found this office via internet. I made an excellent choice. They treat you like people used to be treated everywhere with kindness, courtesy, and respect. I'm very pleased with this office and its staff and look forward to a lasting relationship.

Experiencia fantástica: Always so great to me!

Experiencia fantástica: Kennedy was wonderful! Dr. Carter took the time to explain everything and answered my questions. Front desk staff are professional and knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: Love the people at this office. Everyone is kind, caring, friendly and professional. They take the time to explain everything and actually show you the work that needs to be done. I would definitely recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: The dental hygienist, office staff and dentist are so incredibly patient and kind. They are very caring and compassionate about what they do. They always provide great customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Carter and staff are so meticulous. They make sure your visit is comfortable and efficient,

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Carter and his staff are absolutely wonderful! Jessica and Daisy, the hygienists, along with Jennifer at the front office, are the team members I interact with most often, and they are all amazing. I’ve also seen Dr. Jurgutis, who was equally great. Everyone has an excellent bedside manner. One thing I especially appreciate is how they explain what’s happening next during the appointment. Since procedures involve local anesthesia while you’re still awake, that communication makes a difference and helps ease any anxiety. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Most importantly, they gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout my visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never been disappointed in the service provided at this office. Everyone there takes time to walk you through everything they are about to do. I can get a little panicky in the chair (never told the Dr Carter this). He is not just focused on getting through the appointment, he reads the room and cares enough to give me little breaks to ensure I am comfortable throughout. Even though they are not considered “in network” for my insurance…I am 100% willing to pay more out of pocket because they are THAT GOOD!! For the 7 years my daughter lived out of state, she would make sure that she scheduled her appointment with Dentistry of Sugar Hill while she was in town. They have our complete trust!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone here is 100% invested in their customers! Even though they are out of network for me, I am willing to pay more out of pocket because they are just THAT GOOD. Special shout out to Jennifer and Dr Carter!!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Dentistry of Sugar Hill was excellent. My hygienist was very thorough and professional. I would recommend this office to everyone who needs dental care. Experiencia fantástica: Appointment time was right on, staff is very friendly, received a great cleaning & an amazing check up with Dr.Carter !

Experiencia fantástica: I was given a permanent option for replacement of 4 teeth that other offices said only partials or implants were available. Excited to feel like a normal person again! The doctor here is a magician, and not only matched a bridge flawlessly to my other teeth, but had me in and out of the office in record time.

Experiencia fantástica: Always pleased with the care I receive at Sugar Hill. They do a good job of explaining the work that needs to be done and laying out a plan of care.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a 18 year old crown replaced by a wonderful and professional dental practice. Even though I have been using their services for well over the past 20 years, there have been many office changes but the quality and professionalism has never changed. Nobody looks forward to a dental visit but the Staff at Sugar Hill Dentistry put me at ease with the services they offered. I look forward to the continuing support of a dedicated team who operates this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Best dentist I have ever had. They are very thorough and professional. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Great service. Appointment ran on time.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m always so thankful, and appreciative for Dentistry Of Sugar Hill! Jennifer is the first to greet you, not only does she have a nice welcoming personality-she goes above and beyond to understand and accommodate your needs (she’s educated me on a lot). The gentleman that helped with my x-rays, & cleaning today wowed me with how kind, patient, and willing he was to make sure I was comfortable in the chair (he did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth!!). Dr.Carter always looks out for your best interest, he came up with a great plan to repair and preserve my smile. Always an all around pleasant experience! Thank you!!

He’s gentle, comforting, and easy to talk to I felt like I can trust him. I really appreciated his calmness and expertise. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Highly recommend!! Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I was fortunate to have a very good hygienist . This was her first time at this office. This practice uses "temporary" help and last cleaning wasn't very through. My experience this time was very positive.

Experiencia fantástica: Dentistry of Sugar Hill has always been a pleasant experience. Dr Carter and his team has always been pleasantly professional!

Experiencia fantástica: Remember "Dentistry OF Sugarhill" I have known and been able to rely on Dr Carter, Jennifer, and Roger a long time. They are very communicative about what is necessary to maintain, and I do not put off their advise because they are thoughtful and care. Jennifer has also been able to schedule me conveniently because 95 percent of the time Ive been able to plan ahead. When I get there Roger has always re affirmed where I'm at with homecare and what I must implement to get better results. I know some aspects of thinking about dentalcare may be uncomfortable but I remind myself that forsaking the follow through is not worth the problematic risk of big procedures sooner. I also have to mention Jessica because her clinical skills are excellent and she goes far and above on listening and using her clinical skills to task any of my requests to comfort and preserve my appliances or temporary crown fabrications WHICH STAY ON BY THE WAY. Dr Carter Not Only has the highest reguard for his profession and necessary excellence, but sees to my condition each time I come in with politeness and attentive chairside manner. I return the respect to stay quiet so he can work (and I think he notices that I do). I drive a long way to receive these services Rather Than Choosing Closer dentist for convenience that would care less about what happens in the future. Many people do that but I personally would not invite the future anxiety and worry for a closer driving distance. I've been going to Dr James Carter for 3 years and he has never disappointed. The work he did was absolutely essential to my dental health and immediate needs as well. His staff and he has remembered me each time I have come in and he has repaid my loyalty by seeing me in times of emergency. He has seen me and remedied my mistakes without judgment, never a lecture from this guy. He is just a good man, a good dentist, with a great chair side manner, and impeccable dental services. 3/19/24 - Dr Carter has done Such A Great job for me this year and I wouldn't have anyone else for a dentist. I can rely on his judgement and integrity because he is just that good. His lab matches color like no one else Plus he uses latest dental technology instead of old fashioned rubber impressions. He meets the standard of modern technology and exactness. 4/18/24 Dr Carter also has an assistant named Jessica with superb itero computer skills and does an absolutely fantastic job adjusting my nightguard in all the right places. She is also an amazing find. 5/14/24 I will be referring 2 people to Dr. Carter because he has my absolute trust!

Experiencia fantástica: Customer service was great. Phylis was gentle, answered all my questions/concerns, and gave recommendations to improve my hygiene. Dr. Carter took the time to go over my X-rays, went into detail, and recommended treatment that was needed. Great experience all around, friendly staff, and would highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my 2nd appointment with this group I am so happy I found Dentistry. They are wonderful.
