SMB Orthodontics, P.A.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lee and the staff are amazing!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great service, very professional

Experiencia fantástica: After my wife experienced the wonderful care and process Dr. Lee and his team at Smiles Made Beautiful Orthodontics provided her I knew that I wanted to have my opportunity to improve my smile through their care. Dr. Lee's team treated my wife and me like family of their own...every step of the way and at every visit. The expertise and professionalism they provided from establishing very comfortable financial arrangements, to scheduling, consultations, scans, fittings, and finally progressive follow-up visits was a masterclass in orthodontic and patient care. We feel that we are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lee and his team to have helped us. While we are in our 60s with now our smiles made beautiful, our 5 grandchildren are just a few years from their orthodontic evaluation and treatment, if needed. We will be bringing each of them to see Dr. Lee and his team! Five stars to Dr. Lee and the Smiles Made Beautiful team! I wish I could give them 100 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: The best! Kind, helpful, understanding, patient, and amazing with kids! Dr. Lee even met us in the office on a Sunday of a long weekend to fix a broken bracket/wire. Every single person who works at this practice has been an absolute pleasure; such a wonderful experience! THANK YOU!

Experiencia fantástica: My family has come here for years, and it has always been a great experience for us. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

Experiencia negativa: Edwin Lee pulled down a tooth that should not have been pulled down then suggested filing it on both sides to reduce gum gap. This led to all kinds of problems with a cavity and lifelong problems with my bite. He rushed through the eval and I paid the price. He should have just pushed the tooth back up. He should have reviewed the xray first before pulling it down.

Experiencia fantástica: They have made a solid professional advice that helped my son to straighten his teeth with retainers without putting braces second time.

Experiencia fantástica: Timely, exceptionally friendly and encouraging, thorough in preexam, exam, and explanation of options. Everyone in the office was wonderful!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lee and his entire staff are really knowledgable. They are excellent and know how to work with kids and parents alike! I'd recommend SMB Orthodontics to anyone looking for Orthodontia.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff super friendly as well as the dentist

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Lee and all his team from front desk to all associates are doing a fantastic job from time you are in till you are out. My son had a serious bite issue and over 2 years he can now have a bite on a tough piece of steak :). Thank you Dr l Lee and to the front desk stuff mainly Ms Amina for all the help you provide to your patients.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing initial appointment. My kiddo was nervous walking in but as soon as he saw the Pac-man game in the lobby all nervousness disappeared. And then we got to meet Brandy who is just a treasure. She was so kind, patient, and friendly. She walked my kiddo through all the steps, explained things in a very developmentally appropriate way, and made the appointment fun. As we were leaving the appointment (after discussing putting a lot of metal in my child’s mouth) he was begging to come back here every single day. Brandy walked us through the proposed plan with details on costs and payment options. There was never an ounce of pressure which I truly appreciate. 10/10 experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Brandy was great! She was super nice and made my son and I feel so welcomed! Dr. Lee was efficient and quick!! We’ll definitely be back for treatment!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great atmosphere. Staff are always polite and very pleasant. Dr, Lee is very thorough and always listens to questions and issues.

Experiencia fantástica: My 9 year daugher left her 1st consultation appointment saying she liked Brandy and Dr. Lee. This was a plus as she normally does not comment at all. During the appointment both were great with her.

Experiencia negativa: We went there because of the previous ownership but the new doctor and his team are very unprofessional. They simply don’t care about anything but money. There are so many options in the area. Do some research before you decide to walk into their office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Lee is amazing. My son was getting a new tooth in during treatment. The tooth came in suddenly and not expected and it was affecting his treatment of the existing teeth. His office was able to make a convenient time to meet within days of being called. They also took amazingly steps to ensure he was able to have his treatment adjusted immediately. Dr Lee is simply amazing and his expertise and caring are well worth the cost.

Experiencia fantástica: Always greeted with a smile and welcomed warmly. This is one ‘doctor’s visit’ I actually look forward to☺️

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to Dr Lee and all the staff at SMB for taking such good care of our child through the years. We appreciate your care and always keeping us on schedule and taken care of. Thank you !!!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff and excellent professional support.

Experiencia fantástica: Really amazing orthodontics practice. Knowledgeable doctors, attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable pricing.

Experiencia fantástica: Experienced, professional staff who are kind and engaging.

Experiencia fantástica: SMB is outstanding in all respects in our experience. Warm and welcoming staff, excellent doctor, and great attention to details. They are highly efficient in all aspects of their service, which is much appreciated by the nervous children and the busy parents. Their communication is outstanding and their follow-up for any concerns is always timely. They have made the process and experience of our 7 year old getting orthodontic work very smooth and easy and she is ALWAYS treated so well by every member of the team, at both offices, when she visits. Well done Dr. Kim and team at SMB and thank you for your efforts and services! Dr. Ball recommended you for our care, and I would recommend you to any other families looking for orthodontics in the greater Rockville and Olney areas.

Experiencia fantástica: They were very thorough in their explanations, included print out with pictures, but didn't make it seem like we were limited in choice. Allowed my daughter to ask questions and really look at the pictures. Highly recommend! 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Great experts and service. I do recommend it for kids all ages.

I am a medical professional myself and can recognize medical excellence when I see one. I sincerely appreciate all the superb job that Dr. Lee and the SMB Orthodontics Studio have done to treat my children's as well as my own dental conditions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Mohe Darbandi PA-C

The staff is extremely friendly and thorough. They addressed our concerns with patience and kindness. I’m very happy I found this practice for my daughter’s orthodontic needs!

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t normally write reviews but I was recommend this office by my orthodontist for adult braces. They have been taking such good care of me so far. All the staff are really nice. Bernie was the sweetest while putting on my braces and walked me through the whole process thoroughly. I even received a card and phone call from her after my appointment to check on how I am doing. This is an office that cares. Thank you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: So friendly and welcoming. Great explanations of everything.

Experiencia negativa: this place whenever you run into problem, such as bracket broken off and wire is broken they wont take care of it right away, but wait for next appt. , my child brace metal wire is broken and one bracket is completely off, when i called their office Thursday when my child coming home, they pretty much said Dr not working, this is not dental emergency because my child not experience bleeding or wire not poking him yet, and i kept begging them have Dr to have wire and bracket fixed before we leaving vacation for 12 days, they purely said you can wait for next appointment in April 21st or walk us through the phone taking the bracket off, which I already told them bracket completely off, wire not on that tooth anymore. I asked them who will pay the emergency dental bill when my child experience problem when we travel, they finally said coming tomorrow morning, we'll have one assistant taking off the bracket, which is already off. So find somewhere better!

Experiencia fantástica: It was a wonderful experience. This is my first time getting braces, and I appreciate the attentiveness and seamless process. The ladies were always super helpful during the process. Thanks to everyone's assistance, I felt very comfortable on each visit. I will be referring my colleagues and friends. Thank you all

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience at SMB Orthodontics. Their team is focused on the important details to achieve the best possible results for their clients. They provided excellent care to my son.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at SMB orthodontics is fantastic. The appointments are always on time and the staff and Dr. are very friendly. We truly feel they care about our son‘s orthodontic journey and everything has been covered under our original fee. We highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my teeth. Dr. Lee and staff did an excellent job. I cannot say enough about this team of professionals. I began my journey to a new smile during the COVID era. The team was professional in every sense of the word. The scheduling team (Amina) always went above and beyond to ensure that my appointments were commensurate with my schedule. The Clinical Assistants always treated me with respect and kindness. I cannot say enough about Bernie. Her skills and knowledge and insight were instrumental in my new smile. She could hear Dr. Lee’s direction the first time and the rest was history. Dr. Lee, thank you for showing so much patience getting me to my goal of having a new smile. Despite my being truant with my elastics here and there, you still pulled it off. I am so happy with my new look. There are many practices one could choose from but, this Practice never made me feel like just another patient. I came a stranger with a desire for cosmetic correction and I left a family member with a perfect smile. Thank you team SMB Orthodontic’s!!

Experiencia fantástica: The absolute BEST! I would never go anywhere else. Everyone there is warm, friendly, responsive and helpful. The providers and staff make it fun for all and we appreciate them so much! Check them out if your journey lands you this way!

Experiencia fantástica: This office is full of nice and knowledgeable people, and it is very convenient. Even if we need to change our appointment in last second, they always find some solution. We are very lucky that we found this doctor!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very nice, met with the doctor at my appointment time (no waiting), and the overall experience was great.

Experiencia fantástica: As an adult orthodontic patient, I would highly recommend this practice. I did a few consultations and ended up choosing SMB for my treatment which included 2 years of traditional metal braces. Scheduling appointments, even last minute ones for broken brackets or other issues, was always easy. The entire staff is extremely wonderful to work with (shout-out to Bernie!), and Dr. Lee is very attentive and addressed all my concerns and questions.

Experiencia fantástica: great care and professional operation. it is a first class environment, friendly and accommodating healthcare facility. they made it very easy for my child to adapt, own and stay with their plan. In my opinion, this lays the foundation for a successful orthodontic treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: They were prompt and professional, explaining everything as they went along. They made us feel comfortable and made sure we had no unanswered questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience is always very pleasant, my kids love the hygienists, all of them are very loving and caring, and always with a big smile. Dr. Lee always has a smile for his patients and always has time to listen any concern. Thank you so much for all your kindness and love. I will confidently recommend SMB.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve only had my consultation so far and haven’t officially started orthodontia with SMB yet, but so far the experience has been fantastic. Both the treatment coordinator Brandy and the orthodontist Dr. Lee were incredibly kind and patient. I feel like I am in good hands and it will be worth every penny to work with them.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff, efficient, prompt, and caring.

Experiencia fantástica: Great practice, they explained everything and made my daughter feel comfortable about the dental work that needs to be done. ✅

Experiencia fantástica: The Burk & Finn Orthodontist office in Gaithersburg is a family friendly office with a highly professional staff. I have never waited for more than 5 minutes for an appointment and they send out reminders so you don't miss your appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: The dentists and staff are excellent. They are thorough and caring. They do a great job at making everyone feels comfortable with whatever procedure they are having and provide detailed explanations along the way so there are no surprises. Their professionalism, quality of work, and friendliness are top notch.

Experiencia fantástica: A professional, clean, welcoming, and pleasant experience. So gracious and helpful in a pinch when a brace bracket popped off, they saw him right away!

Experiencia fantástica: We really appreciate the efficiency of the office and that there is little wait time after walking in. Dr. Lee carefully checks and rechecks new and old hardware multiple times and the staff communicates tips and tricks with empathy to anyone new to the process. Their goal is always to make the patient comfortable during and after any procedure.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was warm, caring & kind. Everything was explained very clearly. The office was spotless. I've already recommended the practice to others just based on my consultation.

Experiencia fantástica: Prompt service with excellent explanation of treatment, goals and next steps.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at this practice is so pleasant. From the front desk to the back. I always fall asleep during my adjustments because the atmosphere is so calm, clean and peaceful. Not to mention the chairs they’re sooo comfy! Highly recommended SMB ☺️ - Samantha N

Experiencia fantástica: I began my Invisalign treatment at the beginning of this year and I have been so impressed and thankful for the professionalism and care received from Dr. Lee and his team. Morning sickness made care a bit difficult for me in the recent past and they have just been so understanding and supportive. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!

Experiencia fantástica: The Rockville office was referred by our pediatric dentist in the area and I have two daughters go through there for braces- it has probably been about 6 years and we moved two counties away and still go in every 6-8 weeks for Orthodontist care. There is a reason Burke & Flinn comes so highly recommended, the entire staff is and has been very special! With the two girls and our regular visit, all three of us feel like we are part of their family. Dr. Burke (now retired) has always been respectful and fun (wore cool socks)- a straight talker with so much knowledge and experience! Dr. Wanda Flinn- beautiful and talented, my girls admired her for her gentle touch and feminine energy... and we all could not wait to see what she was wearing (specifically her heels). Many times her smile and demeanor was the envy of my girls... she will desperately be missed. Now, Dr. Lee takes over the practice and you know he is powerful but he is such a humble man. Focused and kind, knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does! Lastly, there is an amazing staff backing him. Brandy, Lauren, and Vickie to name a few. Both girls feel a connection to their technician but as a mom, I notice the office has a groove and they help me stay organized with emails, school notes, and the points/wheel. The kids LOVE going to this office! Keep up the great work, Smiles Made Beautiful!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience and totally recommend for all your orthodontists needs

Experiencia fantástica: They are the best! My 10 year treatment process required lots of work but they guided us through everything in an effective and compassionate way. No one else could have done so much in such a fantastic way. During the pandemic, Dr. Burke would be willing to even call and Facetime to assist with the process and any questions. Dr. Burke was extraordinary and Dr. Lee is so great and capable as well!

Experiencia fantástica: Best orthodontist around. Everyone is so kind and friendly. Dr Lee is amazing. All the staff make you feel special.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent!!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience

Experiencia fantástica: Our fifteen-year-old daughter just completed her three-year orthodontic treatment with SMB (Smiles Made Beautiful), and her smile is truly beautiful!!! SMB Orthodontics is an organization that maintains a phenomenal record of a 100% success rate on everything every time! Dr. Burk (please enjoy your well-deserved retirement, Good Sir), and more recently, Dr. Lee, were wonderfully competent, professional, kind, and responsive. The medical staff, especially Dhayanna, were great and always went out of their way to make sure that our daughter was comfortable and taken good care of. The front desk staff were awesome and always a pleasure to work with, for instance, every single appointment was immediately followed with an emailed calendar invite and text reminders. To summarize, SMB Orthodontics is the platinum standard.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a positive experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent treatment, customer service and physical environment!

Experiencia fantástica: The service is outstanding and everyone is so friendly!!

Experiencia fantástica: They have excellent customer service! I’ve had my braces on since I was in 3rd grade, I’m in 9th grade now and I’m expected to get them removed summer of next year. Since then, they’ve been nothing but caring, helpful and accommodating. Especially Vickie! She’s so personable, friendly, funny and considerate. I feel like she’s one of my family members. I’m so glad my mother chose this office.

Experiencia fantástica: My children and I are all patients at Burk & Flinn. We have been very satisfied with the service we have received through the years. The Orthodontist did an excellent job on our teeth. The office staff are always friendly and helpful. I thank them for giving us a pleasant experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lee is the absolute best! Thank you! :))

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service as usual

Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the best medical practices I've ever been to. The staff is super friendly, organized, and competent. Dr. Lee is thorough and makes you feel confident that you are receiving the best treatment plan possible. Overall, this is a warm and welcoming environment that makes you feel valuable. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking dental care!

Experiencia fantástica: We are having a great experience here!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lee and his team are great! My daughter is preparing for braces and loves coming to this office. We are looking forward to many more visits and have had such a pleasant experience, my daughter really loves that they have fun arcade games you can play while you wait. I highly recommend this office!!

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE BURK AND FLINN!!!!! They have such a nice staff, and they all asked how I was doing all the time! Dr. Lee was such a relatable orthodontist! He described everything to me in a way that I could understand, and I am so thankful that he got to help me! I would highly recommend this office!

Experiencia positiva: Organized, clean and highly qualified Orthodontists

Experiencia positiva: The staff are super friendly and helpful and were lovely to work with. I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the overall result of my orthodontics. I think more frequent checks to adjust issues like my loose teeth would have been helpful. We also had and initial plan of about 18 months, it was revised and I was done in 11 but I'm not very happy with the current bite. The front teeth are nice and straight now but the back teeth still dont fit together nicely and the solution seems to be just shave some off the top of the tooth which doesn't feel quite right.

Experiencia negativa: Conflicted, although the braces did help tremendously with my jaw, the treatment ended up with me having a deep bite. I felt that my treatment at the time nearing the end was quite rushed and abrupt. I knew something was still off about my bite, but they seemed to disregard my concerns. Two years later I went to another orthodontist and he told me I had a deep bite. Which is unfortunate considering the amount of money that was spent on the treatment. Overall the staff were nice, though the orthodontists themselves were iffy. I wish my concerns were taken more seriously at the time, now I have to spend more money to fix my bite alignment so there won’t be as much wear and tear on my teeth. Such a shame.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is so friendly and competent, as is Dr. Lee! We're very happy with our treatment here so far and would highly recommend Burk & Flinn Orthodontics.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m so glad we are at Burk and Flinn. The staff is super friendly, appts are easy to make, and the progress towards a better smile has been great!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic staff. Great result. Can’t ask for more.

Experiencia fantástica: Before going to Burk & Flinn, I went to a number of orthodontists in the local area. After getting a number of recommendations and also seeing for myself, I definitely went with the right decision. The level of service and fair price could not be matched.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lee has been fabulous! Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: My son's treatment in the office has been so positive and we are grateful to all of the staff.
