JD Ross D.D.S. Inc

Experiencia fantástica: I was in this week for a routine cleaning and a quick checkup and once again I was impressed with the care I received from everybody on the staff. They make it so that you actually look forward to going to the Dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is so nice. Very easy, very short wait. The dental hygienist is super sweet and gentle. The front desk staff are nice and professional. Dr. Ross is personable. This is not a scary experience at all. The best dentist office I've ever been to and I so appreciate the small hometown office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross has a conservative approach which means he saves your natural teeth as much as possible and fixes real problems. He and his staff are kind and friendly which puts you at ease right away. He is community minded and serves in the military reserves helping others in need. He maintains a super clean office and is a highly professional skilled dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross is very methodical with an impeccable approach to dental. His office is modern, clean, and conveniently located. I’d recommend any friend or family member. The staff is kind and efficient as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ross and his entire team are amazing. Friendly and accommodating from the beginning to the end. The front office staff explained billing and made appointments to suit my needs. The dental care I received was top notch. And what I also liked was there was no “upselling” of products or services. Just great dental care in a beautiful office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. J and I created a game plan And consisted of six different appointments I came to the last appointment today and he and Jaymee were absolutely amazing. There was a discrepancy with Billing and Natalie at Reception and Dr. J handled it with Grace And corrected it. I truly am so very grateful. I had the same Dentist for 32 years and when I moved to Ventura, I realize how I was being bullied and what real dentistry, knowledgeable and kind people these are. I’m in great safe hands and I have a fun smile now.

Experiencia fantástica: I always receive the best care with Dr. Ross’s office. Just has a crown done and the technology they use and the care I received were impeccable. Highly recommend his office for all your dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: A + in all aspects, and thank you for serving our country in the military, blessings upon you,, k

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr Jay Ross' dental practice for anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate dentist who explains everything he is doing with patience and makes excellent helpful suggestions, and his wonderful team who obviously care about their patients. My hygienist, Dayana is extremely thorough and conscientious...always a positive experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross and his staff are very patient-centered and compassionate providers. Although I am a new patient at his practice, I am extremely happy with the dental treatment I have received so far.

Experiencia fantástica: As usual, Dr. Ross and his staff are super friendly, attentive to their patients requests and always provide amazing service! Grateful they take my insurance lol

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite dentist yet and I’ve been to dozens! Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great office, wonderful dentist, great staff. I really love this office. He never tries to maximize anyone and treats others the way he would like to be treated. I have lots of respect for this office. My mother passed away 3 months shy of 91 years old and she also really love this office which says a lot because she could not stand any previous dentist that I took her to.

Experiencia fantástica: I live on the east coast and my mother lives here on the west coast. Four years ago while visiting my mother I chipped a tooth. Dr Ross’s office was able to get me in right away. I really felt comfortable with Dr Ross’s knowledge and conscientious care. I didn’t think I would be back but unfortunately while visiting mom again, I broke a tooth in 23 and lost a cap this year (26). The staff was again able to get me in and shuffled schedules around so I could finish with the necessary dental care before going back home. Bottom line is Dr Ross is excellent, he took time to explain treatment and options and did a beautiful job on my teeth. The staff is wonderful, kind and do the best they can for their client.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a beautiful office with wonderful staff and a great dentist, Dr. Ross. I highly recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great, comfortable and detailed appointment with the staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross is the best! I've been going to his dental office for over 10 years since my dentist retired. He's very knowledgeable in all things about teeth and gums.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Dr. Ross’s Dental office has been exceptional every time. I am kindly greeted when I arrive. The hygienist is skilled at her job and super easy to talk with during a visit. The office is extremely clean. Dr Ross is an honest and approachable man that gives fair assessment of my dental hygiene and routine progress. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist or just a better option to what you have been dealing with. Don’t settle for a bad experience

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 experience with Dr. Ross and his staff! I am in need of a few fillings and was recommended to come here, and I am so glad I did! Dr. Ross made sure my experience was painless and as comfortable as possible. I was nervous about the novocaine portion, but I was shocked at how little I felt when he was administering it, making sure to check with me that I was okay the entire time. No one loves going to the dentist, but I felt like I was in the best hands. Dr. Ross was very attentive, making sure I was doing well throughout the procedure. It was fairly quick and I felt nothing! I have two more fillings I need to get done and I am confident about coming back knowing I will be taken care of and will not experience any pain!

Experiencia fantástica: Great local Dental care. Thank You Diana for my bright clean teeth !

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross and his staff are always so friendly, kind, and compassionate. They make you feel welcome and when you are afraid no matter what age they aren’t mean or rude they will in fact talk to you for me I needed the security that things were ok. The nurse would rub my shoulder and let me know things were ok and that i just needed to raise a hand and they would stop. As annoying as it may be and time consuming they still will stop and take that time and care with you. I love this office and my dentist and his staff. I do not care for dental work but they make it as easy as possible. The only dentist office for me!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross is a dentist with a professional office staff. Lovely office building too! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: The best dentist I’ve ever seen. The most wonderful staff especially Nancy at the front desk. Beautiful office. All around the best of everything.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional. Gentle with my sensitive teeth. Felt comfortable and well received when I mentioned my teeth sensitivity. Very approachable staff! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: The bestest! Doctor Ross seems up-to-date on the latest dental developments and constantly explains what he is doing as he's doing it. ...which so many dentists don't! All the assistants are personable and make a point of explaining the costs of the procedures before they are scheduled which I find very professional and am apprehensive of.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m really grateful to have Dr. Ross as my dentist here in Ventura. He’s genuinely caring and always makes decisions based on what’s best for me, not what’s most profitable. That kind of integrity is rare, and you can feel it in the way he explains options and takes his time. His staff is friendly, organized, and on top of everything. The whole office runs smoothly. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience today was excellent. I’m glad to be now going to Dr. Jay Ross.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross and his staff are amazing. State of the art facility paired with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My first visit and dental exam went well with excellent care and instruction from both hygienist (Olga) and Dr Ross. I highly recommend Dr Jay D Ross for any of your dental needs. A+.

Experiencia fantástica: Before beginning my teeth cleaning, the team at J.D. Ross, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), the Dental Hygienist conducted a careful examination of my mouth to identify any abnormalities or concerns that might require follow-up. The Dental Hygienist professionally took new X-rays so they could compare them with my previous visit and assess any changes. She asked whether I had noticed any issues with my teeth or mouth, giving her a chance to address, correct, or follow up on anything before starting. She then performed a thorough assessment of my gums, including measuring the gum coverage around each tooth, to ensure that there were no signs of gum disease or recession. Only after completing all of these evaluations did she proceed with the cleaning, removing plaque and any remaining buildup between the teeth with great care and professionalism. A very thorough and professional experience. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I have seen Dr Ross for several years and he is the best dentist I’ve ever had! I appreciate the pain-free dental work, and the entire staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Ross and dental staff always professional. Appointments always start on time and processed smoothly. Great service. Leave with the feeling that your care was top shelf with a personal touch.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience so far has been wonderful. The people are very caring and gentle with us nervous types! I would recommend m end the doctor to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time at Dr. Ross’s office. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Ross was just the kind of dentist I was looking for. The kind that is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and takes plenty of time to explain options. I would recommend him highly.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to have a procedure done this morning. Once again Dr Ross made it virtually painless. He was so good and took the time to ensure I was comfortable. I continue to recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Superb care, Dr Ross’s expertise is phenomenal. So pleased with my dental repairs

Experiencia fantástica: After having the same veneer/crown for 30+ years on my front tooth, it had become discolored and needed to be replaced. I was quite terrified of having someone drill a layer of enamel/composite off which is why I hadn't bothered to replace it before. Dr. Ross and his staff were all incredible. He did an excellent job matching the color and making it painless. The staff assuaged my fears and were each great to work with. No one tried to upsell me. They recommended what would work best for me and my budget. Honest, trustworthy, easy to talk to - they're a great team!

Experiencia fantástica: Plain and simple best doctor in Ventura county hands down No pressure makes you feel comfortable very easy thank you to your entire staff The Flores family

Experiencia fantástica: Today I had a new dental hygienist, Dayana. She was over the top professional, thorough, caring and just outstanding! Absolutely continuing my dental cleanings with her!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross is an exceptional dentist and a very kind person! He saved my tooth from an implant! His office is very nice and his staff is wonderful! I would highly reccommend his services.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Dr. Ross by an oral surgeon from Oregon. At first I was not happy with my smile and thought I wanted veneers. Dr. Ross explained to me how invasive that process was and once you do it there's no going back plus the maintenance they require. He convinced me to straighten my teeth with Invisalign which I did. It was a long process but it was so worthy after 2 rounds. His assistant recommended I use the trays to whiten my teeth so at the end I could get the broken edges fixed to have a perfect and beautiful smile. I appreciate Dr. Ross not being like other 2 Dr.s that told me my teeth were not good and just wanted me to pay for full mouth of veneers. His conservative approach has benefited me and I appreciate him fixing the edges of my upper teeth. His staff are always super nice and friendly. They continue to take good care of my 3 daughters. As for me I will continue to make the commute from LA to see him because let me tell you it's hard to find a great dentist. Gracias Dr. Ross, Nancy and Anel!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome dentist and staff. Very efficient first visit. Modern equipment. Conservative approach, listened and answered all questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Love, love, love this dentist office! Been a patient for years. There’s nobody in Ventura County that’s better than Dr. Ross!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross and his staff were recommended by a coworker. They are efficient and courteous and their experience met my expectations. I highly recommend this dental office. I was gong to another dentist office which claimed I needed immediate crown work. Dr. Ross was honest and trustworthy. X-rays showed no damage to my crown. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently switched to Dr. Ross because his office is in-network with my new insurance, and I only wish I had found him years ago! From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming…from the receptionist to the hygienist, dental assistant, and Dr. Ross himself. They all work together seamlessly, which makes for such a smooth and comfortable visit. The exams are very thorough, and I really appreciate the straightforward, honest recommendations. As a patient who likes to know what’s happening, I value that Dr. Ross explains step by step what he’s about to do. The office is spotless yet still feels comfortable, and the receptionist goes above and beyond to clearly explain billing—breaking down procedure costs, what insurance covers, and what my responsibility will be. This is by far the best dental experience I’ve had, and I highly recommend Dr. Ross and his team!

Experiencia fantástica: My dentist retired and I saw 3 different mediocre dentists before finding JD Ross D.D.S. I'm picky, and I think he does great work on fillings.Super nice guy too. I found out that he's building his own cabinets at his home - that's a sign of a real craftsman.

Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend this office, Dr Ross is personable, caring, excellent dentist and all around great person. the front office are very professional and pleasant. Olga has been my hygienist since I started going there 2 years ago and she's the best! David Simpson

They were friendly and professional, and I think I can say it was the best dental experience of my life. I am delighted that they are my neighbor dentist and are located right around the corner from my home. I appreciate everyone in the office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Jay Ross is the best dentist I have seen. I have had two crowns replaced and I appreciate his skill and forward thinking approach to dentistry. Thank you, Dr. Ross and your staff for the continued professionalism that you all display during every visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross is an excellent provider of dentistry. Good prices and only does the work that is needed. Does not try to push extra services.

Experiencia fantástica: New patient. Came in on a referral and am very happy I did. The staff was wonderful; good people and great workers. Dr. Ross is a good guy; he takes time to get to know you. And, the facilities are first class. A DDS gem in the heart of Ventura.

Experiencia fantástica: Because I have had many negative experiences at dentist offices, I am always anxious when I go to a new dentist. Thankfully, when I had my teeth cleaned at Dr Ross's office, I was relieved to find compassionate, expert technicians who were able to take care of me with zero pain and in complete comfort. I am enthusiastic about returning to Dr Ross's office to complete my dental implant in a few months. My son-in-law is a long time patient of his, and he is extremely pleased with Dr Ross and his technicians as well. Shout out to Olga for her expertise and kindness. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I finally found my dental office!! I moved to Ventura a few years ago and have been to four different dentists and have been unhappy with the care and treatment I received. That was until I found Dr.Ross and his team. They were extremely professional and took the time to make me feel comfortable. The exam by Dr. Ross was thorough and I left with a great cleaning and a plan going forward with my dental care. Experiencia fantástica: Big thanks to Dr. Ross and his team…professional and friendly all the way around! He went the extra mile to provide a pleasant dental cleaning for my daughter - much appreciated!

Experiencia fantástica: These people are: professional, friendly, helpful, caring and honest. As soon as I walked in, they greeted me, and they made me feel like I was at home. Dr. Ross and the staff were talking to me and we were having conversations like if we knew each other for years. I fell so comfortable being there. When it came out to treatment, they were fair not like other dentist I’ve been to. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: What a great dentist! I had a bridge that fell out and he was recommended to me. Now I have a new, awesome dentist and his name is Dr. Ross! Great staff and location. Yay. My pearly whites are happy, too.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jay Ross was beyond wonderful. His staff was able to get in me for an emergency tooth extraction and everything went so smoothly. I felt so comfortable in their care and can’t express how much I admired everyone. Dr. Ross (and staff) were very accommodating and reassuring. I highly recommend his practice!

Experiencia fantástica: As a new patient, I cannot express how happy I am with my experience with Dr. Jay Ross! Upon entering the office, I received a warm welcome from Nancy Garcia the receptionist. I waited less than 10 minutes between the time I filled out my new patient paperwork and the beginning of my appointment, which was pretty incredible. Dr. Ross is both knowledgeable and caring in conveying the information that I needed to know regarding the health of my teeth, not just for the immediate term, but also for the long-term as well. And he took the time to map out a complete game plan on how I could get to a place of complete health from a dental perspective. Irene, who was the hygienist did an excellent job in the initial cleaning and was very professional and patient. She even gave recommendations on the best toothbrushes that I could use going forward. I am so happy to have found such an amazing team and look forward to my next appointment. If you live in Ventura and you are seeking a dentist, I cannot recommend a better one than Dr. Jay Ross

Experiencia fantástica: Best dentist ever. I had neglected my dental hygiene and yearly cleaning for over five years and knew that it wouldn’t be the easiest appointment. However, my new patient check in was painless (for the most part ;)). Dr. Ross went through all the x-rays and explained the problems in a coherent and compassionate way. The staff there is also so kind and works with insurance so you know upfront what the cost will be. The office itself is super clean and well decorated with plenty of natural light. Would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, professional & knowledgeable staff. I went there for a second opinion, “ thinking twice” about needing a crown after seeing Dr. Ross on Instagram taking about less invasive options for a damaged tooth. I feel like I’m making a more informed decision now. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing experience. I have been going to a different dentist for years talking about a tooth that was giving me problems I was told it was nothing to worry. Dr Ross found all the problems very thorough at listening and talking through a care plan with all details listed. I was impressed by his kind and helpful staff. They are the backbone to any great office. Hygienist was great took the time and very knowledgeable. The official was very clean no clutter and welcoming. This is the only dentist I want to see. If you are looking for one you should see him and if you are questioning your dentist you should give him a try

Experiencia fantástica: At today's visit, Dr. Ross took extra time to help me with a nightguard to remedy (as much as possible) the jaw clenching and stress on my teeth. His team has a strong patient-service approach. I always feel welcome, cared about and confident that they are watching out for my dental needs. I highly recommend this dental practice. Oh, and by the way, the office is very clean, the house exterior restored to historic standards - it's a cool place to be.

Experiencia fantástica: From the aesthetics of the office. to the warm welcoming atmosphere, to the young lady at the front desk, to the the dental hygienist, to the support staff, all the way to the dentist, absolutely superb customer service and treatment. He has helped me with my dental needs which have ranged from general check ups, crowns (which he has the ability to make the crown in the office), cleanings, bite guard and Invisalign braces! He truly is the dentist with the gentle touch and caring chair side manor. If you need to be referred out to a specialist, he has built a network of dentists that share in his same caring values. I hope you will give Dr. Ross an opportunity to help with your dental needs. Michael F Stadler, Ed.D
