Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to Foxridge Dental for a little while now and I chose a good place to start my oral health journey. I struggle with generalized anxiety and my fear of the dentist was real. That has now been tamed, as this place took such good care of me. They gave me a wonderful experience . I have had one crown placed, and I will get my last one placed soon. My experience has been great. I can’t complain about anything honestly. I really appreciate Dr. Joe and Anika. Experiencia negativa: Have been going to this practice for over 20 years. Dr Lord, a friend of mine sold to corporate 3 years ago. They let go a brillianty good hygenist, Emily but I went back and needed about the same amt of work as when Emily did it. No estimate was ever offered or provided. Got the bill and it was 3-4X as high as exact same amt of work done maybe 2 years previously. Went in personally to speak to them and person at the desk said they would speak with a manager. 3 weeks nothing. I get a text form a manager? (really, from a high end dental clinic?) that asked why I hadn't paid my bill. I said it was 3X as high as the same work done previously and I wanted to know why. No response by text or email or phone. Today with little warning, I got a notice from their collection agency adding $398 to the already unreasonably high bill. I rarely write reviews (maybe one every 5 years) but this is incredibly poor customer service and since they wouldn't listen or respond, and don't provide estimates before work is performed and needs to be made public at their choice.

Experiencia fantástica: Payton is the best!!

Experiencia negativa: Update 12/20/24: After multiple concerns with this practice, I am taking my business elsewhere. My dissatisfaction culminated today when my 2nd appointment to get my permanent crown was cancelled an hour before my 4:30 pm time due to supposed due bad weather. However, I believe the winter storm was a convenient excuse for the staff and dentist to start their weekend early. Rewind to this morning when the office contacted me asking to move up my appointment by 2 hours because Dr. Hinshaw’s schedule was open after 2:30. No mention was made of a weather concern. Furthermore, our area got a mere 4 inches of snow and there were no widespread school or business closings. I believe my appointment was cancelled to convenience the staff and Dr. without any regard for the great inconvenience this is now causing me. Originally when I reviewed this practice, I was forgiving of their short-comings. My first visit here after a hiatus from dentistry following Covid, I found it odd a dental tech polished my teeth BEFORE the hygienist cleaned them. Again, I believe this happened for the convenience of the staff as opposed to actually putting the patient first. Despite this, I still have Dr. Hinshaw a 5 star rating because I found her to be thorough and quite knowledgable. However, her schedule is quite limiting. She is in the office but a few days a week. Hence why now instead finishing the job they’ve already been paid for, they are telling the earliest they can get me in is nearly a month away! In addition to the rude scheduling fiasco, I am also wary of their billing practices. Our account has had a credit on it for over a year due to them overcharging us. Not once have they offered to cut me check. This is simply not the patient-centered well-oiled machine it was when Dr. Lord ran the practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Peyton does a great job for our entire family!

Experiencia fantástica: I was so impressed with Payton. She really took the time to deep clean my teeth. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Reliably good experiences in the five years I’ve been going here. I’ve seen several doctors come and go, but the front desk staff anf the superb hygienists have me coming back again and again.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and competent dentist and hygienist!

Experiencia fantástica: This practice is all about the patient & dental health. Dr. Hinshaw has compiled a team of assistants of the most professional caliber. I have a challenging dental history and feel I’m in highly capable hands with Dr Hinshaw’s practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Foxridge Dental just keeps getting better and better. The Staff is absolutely amazing. The Hygienists are the best that you will find. Friendly and empathetic to your needs. They are also smart and extremely knowledgeable. A shout out to Megan and Peyton who are my favorites. The new dentist is a seasoned pro and will elevate this practice. Dr. Hinshaw is incredible and is moving Dentistry in Madison to the next level. You better move to this practice now before it’s too late and they stop taking new patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience at Foxridge again! Definitely on top of their game with latest technology as well as taking the time to explain things. Had to reschedule at last minute, got in right away, and Payton was excellent as the hygienist. Thanks again for keeping the teeth in working order!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cleaning today, Payton was awesome, super sweet, gentle and had some good oral care tips for me. Sent me off with a little goodie bag of toothpaste and tools for cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! I had heard good things about this dental practice, but my actual experience truly exceeded what I had expected. The entire staff is so personable, friendly and professional that I was immediately at ease. And then there is the latest high tech equipment, which allowed my untrained eyes to see and also understand the state of my aging teeth and the work I need done to keep them as long as possible. Dr. Jennifer Hinshaw developed a step by step plan to complete that work, and financial plans are available to assist me with making payments. First impressions: I'm in good hands. Actually looking forward to getting my dental show on the road.
