Dentists of South Jordan and Orthodontics

Experiencia fantástica: Im seeing this dentists office for 3 to 4 yrs now . Theyre great. Dr McAfee and my hygienist Annie have taken great care of my dental hygiene over the year. The support staff are all very professional and courteous. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment you walk into this office, you can feel the carrying atmosphere. I have a beautiful smile thanks to the crowns that were built within the office. Dr. McAFfee is not only thorough but empathetic. He cares beyond the teeth and gums, for the whole person. As a nurse, I appreciate the holistic approach and belief. My health and longevity are increased with the observant care of periodontal disease. Every staff member is especially kind and they provide excellent teaching in dental details. That’s perfect

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Mcaffey was kind and explained everything that my teeth were needing. His staff was really helpful too.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor was great and addressed all my concerns, got a same day cleaning and Ally was the best! She was informative and answered all my questions.

Experiencia fantástica: If I could put 10 stars I would. DOCTOR BIKHAZI & YVETTE are an absolute power duo. I had to get a gum graft for my receding gums. I was nervous for the procedure, but both Dr. Bikhazi and Yvette were so kind and encouraging. The worst part was getting the numbing shots, but while Dr. Bikhazi was doing the shots she was telling me “you’re doing so well!” “I’m almost done!” And at the same time Yvette was tapping and squeezing my arm to distract me. Yvette was also so encouraging. I legitimately want to tear up just thinking about it I am so lucky to have found and been treated by the absolute GOLD STANDARD. I felt heard, Yvette did so well at distracting and comforting me, Dr. Bikhazi explained every little thing about the procedure & ensured I felt good about it, they worked so quickly and efficiently, I felt no pain during the procedure. It was just amazing to be treated by medical professionals who you can tell really care about their work & their patients. I usually hate going to the dentist/periodontist, but now I get excited for my appointments because they are so nice, funny, and personable! Absolute heros!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are looking for a Periodontist, look no further. YOU HAVE TO SEE DR. BIKHAZI. You can thank me later!!

Experiencia fantástica: The dental hygienists here are absolutely FABULOUS. And the humans at the front desk…. So kind. If you can enjoy going to the dentist, it would be here.

Experiencia fantástica: Everybody was absolutely amazing! Dr. Moss was not only kind and thorough when helping to figure out a plan for my extensive dental work, but he made sure I was informed with options and sensitive to my needs and situation. Syd, the office manager I believe, was such an advocate for me and she worked with the other great front office caregivers to help ensure I could get the necessary procedures done. The dental hygienist was amazing and kind and kept me informed as she did the extensive cleaning. The dental assistant was so helpful and personable. I am very impressed with everyone that helped me. You are all a great team. Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: Most comfy deep cleaning session I have ever had. Everyone in the team is so warm and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Annie (Anzaya?) is wonderful! She is warm and professional. She’s always checking in on how I’m feeling or if I need adjustments for the most comfort. She also is very thorough in her work.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor B and Allie were literally so sweet during the entire procedure, checked up on me throughout it all and made me feel so comfortable!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience going here. All the dentist are so helpful and nice and really listen to address any issues. Very nice staff and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming here for two years and have always had a great experience. At my last visit, Dr. McAffee was unexpectedly running behind, and Ali and Dr. Burgoyne stepped in to keep everything on track. Dr. Burgoyne made me feel at ease, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. Ali was an absolute hoot. We somehow managed to laugh our way through a dental cleaning, which is saying something! I also really appreciate the upfront pricing and how genuinely friendly everyone in the office is. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff that is always super accommodating. I've been with Dr. McAffee for over a year now. I've had to get some extensive work after not going for about a decade. They've been easy to work with and have great communication. I would recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: We love Dr McAffee. He is very thorough and does great work. We would highly recommend him.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McAfee is great! He spends the time with me explaining and going over options. He saved me by giving me a same day crown and finding a root that needed to be redone. I love Dr. Bikhazi as my periodontist as well. She is very knowledgeable and kind.

Experiencia positiva: This is dentistry form a big company. They have the technology to do things like custom make a crown on premisis or track your gum depth over time, but you are a product and they will get you through the process in the most efficient way possible. They take my insurance, which is honestly the most important thing once basic competency is covered

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent friendly service! Love my new crown.

Experiencia fantástica: Dentists of South Jordan provides excellent care at every opportunity. They are great at keeping space on their schedule to accommodate emergency appointments, and have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to take care of my dental needs. Their care coordinators are helpful at letting patients know what costs will be, assistants are friendly, and Dr McAffee is knowledgeable, thorough and gentle. They are always quick to take patients back, and provide timely and efficient treatment. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Super quick thoughtful and above all else very kind! Really appreciate all the people I’ve met here!

Experiencia fantástica: Really nice people, they you as a friend I highly recommend that if you are in pain that will be really, really careful with you, the root canal was fast painless I was really nervous about that due to past experience … highly highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE. I got a root canal and they kept trying to upsell me while under stress and pain. Then 2 years later the more expensive crown chipped in half. They are a scam.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Dr. McAffee and his staff for almost 4 years now and can’t say that I’d find better anywhere else. I’ve referred family, friends, even random inquirers on Facebook because they’ll for sure be taken care of here. Can’t recommend this office enough!!

Experiencia fantástica: Looking for professional expertise with a dentist who truly cares about his patients Dr. Mcafee is the best there is. Need flexibility with a busy schedule, just ask. I have had painful dentistry in the past and thought that was just how it has to be they have shown there is a way to be at ease in the chair. I especially like that my kids can get braces done while having my checkup all at the same time and place.

Experiencia fantástica: Best dental office EVER!!! Dr Mcafee is an amazing dentist! He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Annie is so friendly and caring. The assistants are the absolute best, the BEST!!! And the front office girls always remember me and are just so sweet. Just a great group of people! 10/10 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Annie as my dental hygienist for the past few years, and she is absolutely incredible! She is always friendly, thorough, and makes every appointment a great experience I couldn’t recommend Annie and this practice more highly!

Experiencia positiva: They really push to get you to offer reviews when you leave. I have nothing bad to say about them but keep this in mind when you see all the reviews.

Thorough, gentle, and made sure I knew exactly what was going on throughout the entire appointment. If you’re looking for a great clinic, where you're in good hands, this is the place.

Experiencia fantástica: I always have great experience at this dental office. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. McAffee takes the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit; he speak Spanish really good so if there is something I don’t understand he is always kind and explain in Spanish if needed. The office is clean, organized, and appointments run on time. I truly appreciate the excellent care and attention to detail.

Experiencia fantástica: Kind and caring staff. Asked me great questions and made sure I understood the process and had what I needed to be comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming here for several years. Dr. McAfee has been great. Annie and McKell are awesome too.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this office! Especially Dr McAffee and both hygienists Annie and McKell. They truly treat you like family. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing place, they always take great care of me!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Prince is a great orthodontist! He is very kind.

Experiencia fantástica: We love going to Dentist of South Jordan! Dr Prince is a great orthodontist. He is very kind and patient and does so great with my kids. I would recommend him to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a patient at this dental office for 10 years, and my experience has been outstanding every single visit. The staff is warm and welcoming, the dentists are skilled and thorough, and the entire atmosphere is calm and caring. I always feel valued as a patient and confident in the care I receive. Anzia is truly the best—so patient and understanding with my anxiety—and I’m equally grateful for Dr. McAffee’s kindness and professionalism. I couldn’t ask for a better dental team.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been going to the dentists of south Jordan for years. We love the staff. Very friendly and they have always done great work.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been 2 times and it's been great both times. The dentists explain everything very clearly and present treatment plans with reasons and no pressure.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr McAfee is awesome! Every time I have to get a shot, he is so gentle and it’s never bad. The staff is efficient and kind.

Experiencia fantástica: First time going to the dentist and they were the right choice, everyone made me feel very comfortable and very welcome, and everyone was very nice 10/10 experience

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite dentist in the valley! Love the staff and have always had great work done. They are efficient, have the most up to date technology and procedures. Let’s be honest, no one really likes coming to the dentist, but I look forward to seeing the staff, and how great my results are

Experiencia fantástica: They were very kind and did a great job

Experiencia fantástica: Always professional, clean, respectful, and efficient. You will not be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: Great and friendly staff. Took their time to explain treatment plan and was in and out quickly.

Experiencia fantástica: McKell is my favorite hygienist, and she has done an amazing job with my deep cleanings and maintenance treatments over the last two years since I started going to Dentists of South Jordan. She always makes sure I am comfortable throughout the procedure and pays great attention to detail. I had a few questions after one of my appointments, and she took the time to answer them over the phone. I truly appreciate her professionalism and care. I would definitely recommend McKell to anyone looking for excellent dental hygiene treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was at ease during the procedure. During my cleaning Mckell did an amazing job making sure I was informed and comfortable throughout the process. The office was clean, organized, and ran on time. Overall an amazing experience and would highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: These guys are amazing! They have done great work and when my crown came off they got me in the same day! The sweetest staff and doctor is great and they really cares. They don’t price gauge but give incredible service. I’ll be a client with them for as long as I’m in Salt Lake City .

Experiencia fantástica: I really love this office! Every person on their staff is so kind and helpful and I have had a great experience every time! I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McAffee is the best. He’s kind and does a phenomenal job. Will only get my dental work done by him!

Experiencia fantástica: Annie is the best dental hygienist I've ever had! She is always a joy to be around. I really appreciate how she really takes her time to make sure she cleans your teeth as thoroughly as physically possible, yet she always seems quick doing so. She is very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to give you the care that you need and more. This location is the best because it has Annie! Thank you for caring, Annie, and for always taking care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this office. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They know how to schedule so you do not end up waiting. They don't have cancel appointments. They can always fit you in. Dr. Mcafee is genuine and great doctor.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone there is super nice and my hygienist, Anzia, is the best!! Huge shout out to her! :)

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience and helpful thorough examinations with great explanations! Definitely recommend they give great care

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone in the office are always nice and respectful. I highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: Great job by McKell. Thorough, gentle but tough on calculus removal. Very attentive to mouth comfort and breathing. I'd do it again!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr McAffee and Annie are the best! Very glad to have them for dental.

Experiencia fantástica: It is very convenient to be able to get dental work done and then impressions for a new retainer in the same appointment. The people here are very kind and I am very impressed with the work which they do. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I found out I needed a root canal this morning and I needed to get same day treatment because it was the last day on my dental insurance, and the endodontist was unavailable. doctor Mcaffee did the root canal and crown himself, and honestly it was an excellent experience. So grateful for the team here, and for what a fantastic job they did! I will definitely be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been going here for 3 years now. Always polite and friendly staff and dentists. Love that if I need to see my dentist and he's not available there is always a great backup. Not exactly my favorite place to go, though sure is nice to have it when needed. This last week I went in after a crown had broken. They replaced it at no cost - thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I love it here. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I will never go to another dentist office!

Experiencia fantástica: We have had a great experience every time we get any dental work done! The staff is AMAZING!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience I felt very comfortable being here the technology they have is high tech!

Experiencia fantástica: The experience was great. They were very efficient and kind!

Experiencia fantástica: Got my braces done here and I still go for general dental work. Dr. McAfee is awesome and makes everything comfortable and calm. The dental assistants are really nice and I like talking to them!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr McAfee is awesome. Very kind and gentle.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with Dr. McAffee and the team at South Jordan Dentistry and Orthodontics. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, professional, and easy to work with. Dr. McAffee took the time to explain my treatment options clearly and answer my questions without making the visit feel rushed. I appreciated his attention to detail, calm approach, and the overall quality of care. The office was clean, modern, and well organized, which also helped make the experience comfortable. I would gladly recommend Dr. McAffee and South Jordan Dentistry and Orthodontics to anyone looking for excellent dental or orthodontic care in Utah.

Experiencia fantástica: Great work with my crown and Root canal. They could use a little help with insurance but the dr was great.

Experiencia fantástica: First time getting a crown. It was a different experience and a little painful. But overall it was good. Everyone made sure that I was comfortable and kept checking throughout the process. Also the response to messages through my chart was quick and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. McKell is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: Always an amazing experience!! Supper good staff and got me done really fast

Experiencia fantástica: Been going here for years, always friendly and super nice. They do a great job and I will keep coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here for nearly ten years no matter where in the valley I’ve lived. Michaelanne, Dr Moss, and Dr McAffee have always been so great to work with.

Experiencia fantástica: I had as good of experience one can reasonably expect from a dentist office. Staff was very friendly and informative.

Experiencia fantástica: Root canal by Dr Otterson very comfortable, Dr McAfee is great. Root canal and crown done in 45 minutes! Great office and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Mcaffee was great and got my crown fixed! Definitely recommend him!

Experiencia fantástica: They are so awesome!! I’ve visited a few times and they made me feel so comfortable. Great service, highly recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ryan, Annie and the team were absolutely amazing! I actually had fun at the dentist! I came in for a new patient appointment and they were kind, fun, thorough and caring. I LOVE the advanced tech they have and availability of non invasive procedures is pretty cool! Thanks guys! Can't wait to come back!

Experiencia positiva: The dentist is a lovely person, however you can just tell that this practice is owned by a private equity firm. The way they try and upsell every thing is off putting. I went for two separate things and each time was told I should actually do a more expensive thing. I had to wait a long time both times I went in and the second time went for a cleaning and didn’t even get a cleaning because he wanted me to do some more expensive invasive cleaning. At that point I just went back to my old dentist because I didn’t trust it and was reassured I actually didn’t need what he said. Lovely nice people, listened to my dental anxiety issues, but wasn’t for me.

Experiencia fantástica: I called late last week to look into getting a root canal I've been putting off and they fit me in early this week. The root canal and filling was done in under an hour. Very impressive!

Experiencia negativa: For years, I went to this location and had excellent service and experience. There was never any issue with breaking up payment total into 3-6 payments. "No problem, let's get those scheduled." After the Dentists of Riverton location opened I transferred to that office because it is close to where I live. I had the exact same excellent service and payment options for several more years. Up until a recent dentist's work forced them to close doors for a short time. I went back to Dentists of South Jordan in the mean time. I unfortunately have had to have a LOT of dental work in my life and from past experience I thought I knew I was going back to good hands. Something has obviously changed with this location. Now in order to break up a payment, they force you provide a SSN and perform a "hard credit check" on you. Along with that, when I expressed my obvious concerns of the change. I was simply met with a rude, callus receptionist (or whatever your job is) with no care in the world for the customer and gave the attitude of "it's our way or the highway". I'm not about to go through a hard credit check every time I need dental work. Which unfortunately for my soft teeth, is rather often. If this truly is the way of this office now. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming here for several years and have seen several dentists and hygienists. Everyone in the office is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’ve never had an experience that wasn’t excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: Easy to say I found my new dentist office away from home! The whole staff from front office to back is incredibly friendly and professional. The work is exceptional as well. Highly recommended and approved.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a normal cleaning scheduled with Mckell, who is always great. I have been having some nerve pain and haven’t been able to figure out what is going on. They just wanted to rule out that it was a tooth problem so Dr. Mcaffee made time and ran some test to rule out certain things. I didn’t have an appointment for that and they made time to help me out. I am very appreciative as I haven’t had much luck with other drs. So thank you Mckell and Dr Mcaffee.

Experiencia fantástica: I couldn't ask for a best dentis, Dr. Mcaffee and his team are the best ❤️

Experiencia positiva: The people are so nice and the atmosphere was okay, but the wait was pretty long

Experiencia fantástica: I just want to share my husband’s experience with the Dentists of South Jordan and the whole team. He needed some dental upgrading and Dr. McAfee was amazing, going above and beyond getting this work done and making sure he was involved in every decision. Emily, his Dental Assistant gave extra attention by explaining things that were so new to him. This is the Dentist office you want if you never want to stress above going to the dentist ever again. Also, highly recommend Anzia “Annie” Zumpano, a fantastic Dental Hygienist. Everyone there is professional, personable and they care about their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: This was the second time they were able to get me in on very short notice. The staff was very kind and professional. The care was second to none!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to the Dentists of South Jordan for some time, and I can honestly say the entire team is fantastic — but I especially want to mention hygienist Anzia “Ani” Zumpano. Ani always makes me feel like family from the moment I walk in. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, suggests the best treatments, and is always mindful of recommending what’s both effective and affordable. She genuinely cares about keeping my gums healthy and always shares the most practical tips to maintain them in the best condition. On top of that, Ani and I always end up chatting about our latest travels. We share stories from trips we’ve taken recently, and I actually look forward to my next visit just so I can tell her about my adventures — or hear about hers! It’s rare to find a dental professional who is not only so skilled, but also so genuinely engaging and personable.

Experiencia fantástica: Love the people here! Always so kind and caring. Always satisfied after my visits. Great place

Experiencia fantástica: In regards to the entire appointment from start to finish the experience was comfortable and the entire staff did what they could to insure I had the best experience possible.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of the 'hidden' costs at Dentists of South Jordan and Orthodontics. My husband was quoted $900 for dental work, only to be told at the front desk that the quote was 'missing items' and the real total was over $4,000. He walked out $600 short just for a cleaning he thought was covered. It’s one thing to pay for dental work; it’s another to be misled and then charged 4x the estimate at the register. Extremely disappointed and feeling scammed.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic service! Everyone is very kind. I had Annie clean my teeth and she’s always so kind and helpful with questions. I also had Dani help me who was awesome and efficient as well. I can’t recommend this office enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I had root canal work done. They made it quick and painless for me! Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr.McAffee and Emily did an amazing job! They were super speedy and checked in on me to make sure I was doing okay and was comfortable! You guys are the best ! :)

Experiencia fantástica: They took me in and took care of the problem with my teeth . I really love this place recommend bringing yourself and your family here ! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Very good experience!

Experiencia fantástica: They cleaned up a mess from a prior dentist; where the root canal failed. They got me on the right path, replacing the tooth. Every step went well. They explain cleaning air work procedures more thoroughly than I’ve seen, which has helped me step up my home routine. Fully recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. McAffee is great at explaining procedures and your options. He always ensures you're comfortable and doesn't mind giving you a break if needed. The assistants are exceptional. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dentists of South Jordan!
