Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Diablo View Endodontics. They were extremely kind, thorough, professional and skilled. While I was on the phone making my appointment, they had a cancellation and got me in 2 days earlier. I was given options and we moved forward with my treatment on the same day as my evaluation. I appreciate the calmness and how thoroughly every step was explained during my treatment. I was very nervous and I got through the appointment because of how skilled the Dr was. Thank you for your care!

Experiencia negativa: I was referred to this office by my dentist for a root canal, and my experience was extremely disappointing. They scheduled my appointment before I even knew what the cost would be. When I asked for the estimate, I was told it would be emailed to me. They didn’t send it until around 2:00 PM the day before my early morning appointment. The estimate was nearly $2,500 for a routine root canal. When I questioned the price, I was told it was because their doctors have advanced certifications and use specialized equipment. That explanation didn’t justify charging several times more than other providers. I decided to cancel the appointment on the spot, and to make matters worse, they charged me an $85 cancellation fee. I ended up getting the exact same root canal done at another reputable office for about $700, and the experience was excellent. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. If you don’t mind paying significantly higher prices and risking expensive cancellation fees, then it may not matter to you. Otherwise, I suggest getting a second opinion and comparing prices before scheduling here.

She took her time, explained everything she was going to do from start to finish, and made sure I understood every step. If I could give 10 stars, I would — but since 5 is the limit, I'm giving all 5! Their service is top-tier. Highly, highly recommended!

They were able to get me in very quickly, and though the process was uncomfortable, Dr. Sasthri and her assistant Joanna made the experience better than I expected. Experiencia fantástica: Dental work is never fun and when it’s an emergency and involves your front teeth it’s even less so. The staff at Diablo View Endodontics are kind, compassionate, and accommodating. Dr. Sasthri and her assistants were gentle, caring, and did excellent work to send me on my way to the next phase of treatment. They followed up to check on me and that is much appreciated. I wouldn’t wish anyone to have to have this type of work done, but if you need an endodontist they are the right people to see!

Checking in was simple and my wait was fairly short, once inside service was impeccable from both the assistant and Doctor. I was there for a routine root canal, but had some infection below my bridge and had to address this situation with a concise plan of action, which was clearly stated and performed without incident.

Experiencia fantástica: I had such an amazing experience with Diablo View Endodontics. From the minute I walked into the office, the front office staff was very welcoming. Jada the dental assistant was very sweet and kind and made me feel very comfortable. I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks and was very nervous for my root canal (it took me 10 years to see a dentist…I would make appointments and cancel within 24 hours). Dr. Sasthri did my root canal. Very understanding of my fears and told me everything she was doing and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing ok. I can also say, she is amazing with giving the anesthetic to the gums with the needle…barely felt a thing! I cannot say enough about this office and their compassion and professionalism! If I could give them 10+ stars I would!

Experiencia fantástica: Could not recommend more. Had a root canal about 3 years prior with a different company, then about 8 months ago that same tooth got infected. The original place quoted me above 10k, absolutely zero chance to salvage the tooth and is just poor bad luck. Had a second and triple opinion both saying about 75% chance I can salvage my tooth with another root canal and both recommended Diablo View. They took the proper procedures the other endodontist didn’t. Found out I have 5 canals on that tooth (more than normal) and was later discovered that one canal was missed entirely causing the infection. Diablo view did a great job fixing the countless other screw ups from the other place for the original quotes price. My insurance gave them hell and back but they were patient and worked with me and the insurance company (sorry). Last month they did post scans to see if the infection has gotten any worse. It has since healed and they have officially saved me $10k+ on future fixes. Have and will continue to recommend Diablo View Endodontics to anyone who may need them!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a consultation with a dentist that my husband recommended, but I left that particular office feeling unsure and uneasy about the options I was given. After doing my own research, I found Diablo View Endodontics. I’m so glad I did. Diablo View Endodontics was able to see me right away, even earlier than my scheduled appointment time. There was plenty of parking, and the office itself was very welcoming. The receptionist greeted me kindly and made check-in easy and comfortable. The X-rays they took were far more advanced than at my previous dentist, and the dentist herself was amazing (Dr Sasthri). She explained my treatment options clearly and made me feel confident about my decision. Because I was in so much pain, she even fit me in for an emergency root canal the same day. The procedure went quickly, and aside from the initial numbing shot, I didn’t feel any pain. It’s been a week since my root canal, and I feel so much better! The receptionist, who was both sweet and knowledgeable, also gave me great recommendations for a dentist to do my crown. To top it off, the dentist personally called to check on me the next day. I’m so grateful for the care I received here. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a dentist who is professional, compassionate, and genuinely cares about their patients.

First of all, they were able to get me in the same day I called, and even worked around my schedule and made me feel no rush since I commute from far away — which I really appreciated. They were constantly comforting me and asking if I was okay, showing so much compassion, which helped me get through the surprisingly quick procedure. The dentist tried to place a crown, and TWICE it fell out on TWO different occasions! Will need the tooth extracted and have an implant placed. Will file a grievance and demand my money back for having unnecessary work done!

Experiencia fantástica: They got me in quickly for an emergency appointment and despite being a difficult procedure they stayed late in order to make sure it was done properly. Staff is friendly and professional!

Experiencia negativa: I was referred for a root canal, which I opted to undergo with oral sedation at an additional out-of-pocket cost due to my history of resistance to certain anesthetics. The procedure itself went well, but a week later, I emailed the office with concerns about the results and included images. I never received a response, nor was I contacted for a follow-up. At my next dental appointment, I learned that my tooth infection had not improved. In fact, it had worsened, leading to further bone loss. As a result, I now need a second root canal and may require more invasive treatment to address the damage. Edit: The office has now been contacting me nonstop since this negative review to schedule a follow up. I told them I moved out of the area in December and they have already transferred my paperwork to a new endodontist, which it seems they failed to check or update on my file.

For having to have a root canal done at the drop of a hat was not expected , but treated with compassion and care . Not something that I would want to have done on a regular basis , but if I never needed to have it done again , this is the place to have it done .

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! I was simply astonished how Dr. Christina Penn, had reasurred me that a root canal was not painful these days (last one was in 1995, was 'painful') . That if anything, I should not feel anything except pressure while she was working on my root canal. She was true to her word! Not only was it a comfortable chair (with pillow!), but I did not feel any pain. One has to realize she still has to stick you with a few needles to numb you up, but she also puts a lidocaine swab onto your gums to numb the needles It helps with the stings. When I got home I had a little soreness, but that night, I went to bed without pain (discomfort; a bit). This morning, other than swollen gums, I had no pain! And I have come home to other dentists stating that it wouldn't be painful and that wasn't true, from the past. Her dental hygenist, Patricia, is a warm and kind person who held my hand with the needle sticks (she might not do that for you, though; 'cause she liked me)! She did her job exceedely well, answered the questions she could and kept me comfortable, as well . All in all, including the office staff and the warm atmosphere in the waiting room, I could not have chosen a better place.

Dr Sasthri uncovered an infection under one of my gold crowns that couldn’t be detected visually. She cleaned it all up and now I’m pain free and “back in the saddle” feeling good having my energy back. Thank you Dr Sasthri and staff.

Perhaps these procedures have caused pain and problems for others, but Dr. Christina A. Penn and her Dental assistant Jackie took exceptional care of me! I was welcomed warmly by Donna at front desk where check in was seamless and easy. Jackie took be back on time to do some x-rays, and then prepped me for Christina. The entire procedure was expertly administered. Never once did I feel any pain. In fact, I was so comfortable throughout the procedure, that I almost fell asleep a few times. I highly recommend to anyone putting off this type of procedure because of the bad rap root canals have for being painful, to come visit Diablo View Endodontics and get a pain free, wonderful procedure done by a team of experts. My dentist said he was referring me here for a possible root canal - yikes - that just sounded scary. Diablo View got me scheduled on the same day, which was a huge relief. I had a root canal x2. Yeah, not good but I had NO issues after the procedure, only took Motrin/Tylenol one time after my appointment. I haven't had any issues after the DREADED DRILLING. Competent and caring is a rare combination. Dr. Sasthri was exceptional. Not only was she professional, courteous, and efficient in her work, but she corrected a complex compounding issue left by a previous dental procedure (long ago from another dentist in another state). Truly a master of the craft. Finally, they gave us the pricing up front over the phone before we even walked in the door - no surprises or bonus charges. Fantastic dental experience!

They are very professional and thorough with their work. They made me feel comfortable, and explained the complete process, shared the X-rays and situation on my tooth clearly which made me understand the situation. My wait time was minimal before being taken back by Jada, who prepared me for the root canal. Despite having previously undergone a root canal, I found the experience with Christina Penn superior. Her professionalism, intelligence, and ability to ensure patient comfort were commendable. The office was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which was impressive. Moreover, when Jada went on break, another assistant seamlessly took over and provided excellent care. Should I require a root canal in the future, I would undoubtedly return to this facility. Experiencia fantástica: I had my first appointment at Diablo View Endodontics this morning. I have always had fear about going to the dentist, but I have to tell you if I need a root canal, this is my place! I saw Dr. Sasthri and she explained everything perfectly and had all the tools to visually help me understand what was going on with me. All the staff are top notch, so if you ever need Endo work, please give them your first consideration! By the way, I felt no pain at all, even during numbing.

Thorough in explaining the details of my procedure and why it was necessary, through x-ray imaging, pictorials and easy to understand verbal descriptions. It was almost like I was being presented a deconstructed power-point presentation taylor-made to fit me and my learning styles. The kindness and care of this office were through the roof. Everyone was just a joy to converse with and I felt as if everyone genuinely cared about my overall experience and comfort beginning at the receptionist to the assistant and the surgeon. They even transformed the dentist chair into a proverbial therapist couch guiding through my "dental anxiety"! Most importantly, the root canal was painless during the procedure, and thankfully I remained pain free after the numbness subsided. l won't go as far as to say that I was ready to raise my hand and scream "please extract more roots!", but I came pretty close. Keep up the excellent professional service.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to this office by my DDS. I wasn’t thrilled about needing a root canal. I was in so much discomfort and Misha was able to get me in the same day. The front desk ladies are so welcoming and thorough. Dr. Penn is amazing. She is calm, compassionate to patients sensitivity, and prompt. I was amazed how quick the procedure was. I’m not talking as if she was in a rush. She is quick meaning she knows what she’s doing and gets the job done. I will definitely recommend this office.
