Experiencia negativa: I travel every week for work and have to have early Monday appointments. They have cancelled 3 times in last year for various reasons, and then schedule you weeks out after cancellation. If you sit around every day at and just wait for a dentist when you fit their schedule then this office is for you. If you need a dentist who can accommodate and stick to their calendar, then I recommend you look elsewhere. Good staff the few times I went and they didnt cancel.

Dr. Neugyn English was hard to understand. Also didn't care for the water pick cleaning. Not sure I'll be back

Experiencia positiva: My experience was adequate but was significantly worse than my previous experiences. It was the day of their holiday party and that was their priority. I have mobility issues (I was on a walker) and the young lady who escorted me to the exam room and took X-rays was less than caring. I wound up having to climb over the chair’s motorized base and aggravating my health issue further. The chair was askew and all she said was “I don’t know why it’s like that.” She made no effort to assist me or adjust the chair. I have been in excruciating hip/leg pain ever since. I provided feedback to the dental assistant who explained the young lady was “very green”. I know staffing can be difficult, but patient care should be the priority. It really felt like all the staff was focused on was closing early and getting to their holiday party.

Experiencia negativa: Waited several months for an appointment for my children only for the front desk to turn us away the day of because they dont accept our health insurance. I asked several times over the phone if they accepted our health insurances which they claimed to accept the day that I scheduled it. So I'll have to wait several more months for a dental appointment for my children. A huge waste of time and resources. Do not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly, if I could give zero stars I would. I went to the office for a cleaning and was told I had six cavities and spots I needed to watch. They conveniently could do half of the work while I was there for the cleaning, but I decided to wait and get a second opinion. The new dentist (who has been practicing for 40+ years) indicated there was no need for any fillings. He said there was one spot to watch but otherwise my mouth did not need fillings as there are no cavities. What a scam to drill into perfectly healthy teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: Afinia team members from front desk to all employees work well together and very pleasant. The team recently stayed late to accommodate me getting a new crown. That is above and beyond!

Experiencia positiva: Nice little office, friendly staff, and clean environment. But I had a bit of a concern about the dentist, Dr. Megan Nguyen. She was very friendly and nice but did not seem to explain things very well, if at all. For example, I was told I had some cavities but she never mentioned how deep they were (whether in the enamel, dentin, or pulp) and did not show them in my X-rays. It would have been nice if she explained every step she was doing by saying things such as, "I am now going to inject a numbing solution", "you will feel a bit of discomfort", "I am now removing the decayed portion", etc. etc. Letting your patients know what steps you're performing is very comforting, eases their anxiety, and builds trust as you're taking the time to explain what you're doing and why. After the fillings were done (which felt rushed by the way), Dr. Nguyen did not provide post-procedure care instructions either. Overall, the office and staff seemed great but Dr. Nguyen could improve on communication and explaining things better and more thoroughly.

Experiencia negativa: Check your EOBs and bills carefully with this office. They double billed my insurance and tried to collect the denied claim from me. On my last visit, I was overcharged by $263. I had to threaten to dispute it with my insurance to get it refunded. In both cases, I made numerous calls and never had them returned. They also botched my temporary crown, causing me to have to return the next day, and my permanent crown still aches daily. Between the misleading billing and questionable care, I will not be back.

Kristy in the receptionist area is a Rock Star and has went above and beyond to help my family. The dental staff has always been top notch and REALLY CARE about you and will spend the time to make sure you understand everything and all you options so no surprises. The dentist we loved move to a new practice but we hear great things about the new dentist. We can’t recommend this place enough! Did I mention Kristy is a rock star…

Experiencia negativa: They could not get the x-ray machine to work. The dentist himself did a quick cleaning of my teeth. I do mean quick. When I ask about sensitivity of my teeth it was just suggested to use Sensodyne. The girl that polished my teeth talked about what I might need to do for the issue. Not the dentist.

The staff is friendly, happy to answer any and all questions, do their best to make clients feel comfortable. I have been a client for several years and believe this is a great office for dental needs. I strongly recommend everyone come here!

Experiencia negativa: I am so sad because I really wanted to start coming here for routine dental work. I had an appointment last Thursday and they ended up referring me out. The place they referred me to didn't take my insurance so I called Afinia back 1 hour after my appointment and left a voicemail. I called 2 more times before they closed and no return call. I ended up having an issue Saturday and called the after hours person and he told me he would call back. He never called back Saturday, Sunday. . or even Monday! I find this so upsetting. The office looked clean and the dental hygienist was nice so I wanted this to be a place I would go, but unfortunately after my experience I won't be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: This Dentist office is Fantastic. I called on Wednesday afternoon, got an appointment for 8am the next day. I was in terrible pain and couldn't take it anymore. The lady at the front desk was awesome, Kristen was with me the whole time along with someone shadowing her and let me tell you these people were simply the best. Afinia should be proud and privileged to have these three working for them, awesome. The Dentist was friendly, informed me of what the issue was, gave me options and what I feel was honest service. The tooth got pulled yay me, I think i'm the only one that didn't have fun. I can't say enough about this place, thank you.
