Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a small cavity repair. Anesthesia was administered well and completely prepared me for the procedure. It was completed quickly with Dr. Bell frequently asking for me comfort level and giving me updates. While I try and take care of my teeth (and this is my 2nd filling in over 40 years!) I am very trusting of the dental recommendations that are made by the Dr and the others. I also need to compliment the office staff for preparing me for the additional cost that I incurred and the DA who was helpful and kind.

When I was in for my cleaning recently, the hygienist checked in with me during the descaling because she knows it's my least favorite part, and also during previous deep-cleaning appointments my anxiety had gotten the best of me, so she knew I could've been anxious this time too. I was actually doing well but I really appreciate her doing that. This last visit was the easiest one I'd had in ages. As someone who's spent a lifetime in the chair and has had trauma in the past, it means a lot to me to have such a caring dentist and staff. Dr Bell is just a ray of sunshine! So friendly and genuine. You all take an unpleasant visit and make it bearable. Thank you!

We love Dr Bells happy spirit and she's been our family hygienist since we PCS from Germany in 2013 and now currently living here. Clean environment and of course her whole team is amazing. Dr Bells is usually booked out but they will get you on the cancellation list and you'll be in there sooner than you think.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going here for a couple years now. The front staff are excellent with billing and explaining costs to you. The dental staff are excellent and work to reduce pain and anxiety. I have TMJ and they do a great job making sure I'm as comfortable as possible.

Experiencia negativa: Not happy with the work that has been performed by Dr Bell. I had fillings fall out after just a few months. I crown that was shaved down so much it feels more like a cap than a crown. (This was done by one of her assistants) I’m considering having redone by another dentist. I saw her during my time at McChord. I wish I would have switch dentist earlier.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly warm staff and a beautiful cozy space with lots of natural lighting and comfortable seats. Dr. Bell always makes me feel like 100 bucks about my teeth lol. Scheduling here has always been easy, the hygienists are always happy to answer all my questions (I usually have quite a few!), and Dr. Bell is swift but not cold. The only thing I’d say is: at other dental practices I’ve been to, they usually find more problems with my teeth, whereas Dr. Bell says my teeth are “perfect”, so I’m not sure if that is simply difference of opinion between professionals or if one is less or more thorough than the other. Also, I have paid both out of pocket and through insurance here and have had no problems with either. The prices seem reasonable.

If you are not cancel 48 hours before appointment.I called them and I telling them I am sick ( in bell Facebook page has a message about if you are sick you may please cancel appointment; and the person to answer me tells me it’s ok a little be rude ( in the phone) Today I received a bill for $100 . No thank you bell family dental I was a patient for almost 10 years and the doctor bell always was nice to me and the front office too but I don’t really no what’s happened with the personal in the front !!

I just got my first filling ever, 53 years, and it was painless and fast and the best experience ever. Experiencia fantástica: Nervous No More! Let’s just say I’m a reluctant dental office attendee. My first appointment was for a teeth cleaning by Donna she listened to my concerns regarding the nails-on-the-chalkboard scraping that accompanies a dental cleaning, she explained that she could polish the teeth first and keep the scraping to a minimum while still giving me a through dental cleaning. It was awesome! I have never encountered a dental cleaning that wasn’t a white-knuckle experience. I needed two fillings repaired due to grinding my teeth at night. Bell Family Dental provided me an estimate for the cost of needed fillings after insurance so that there were no surprises later, this is a service that I value in these trying financial times. During my visit to repair my fillings Dr. Bell listened to my concerns about pain and my fear of the dentist-getting numb, the drill noises etc. she put me at ease as she walked me through each step on the process, she taught me techniques that helped me to relax during the administration of the anesthetic. I have been told previously that I had trouble getting numb, not so! With Dr. Bell’s light-as-a-feather touch and the techniques she walked me through, it was practically painless. The filling repairs went as expected (the noise! the grinding!) but throughout the process Dr. Bell explained what was going to happen as well as what was going to happen next, Dr. Bell checked in with me frequently to ask me how I was doing. I really appreciate the patient-first mentality of Bell Family Dental, Dr. Bell and the staff truly listen to you, because they want you to have a positive experience. Bell Family has a patient for life!

Experiencia fantástica: It's been almost 8 years since I started coming here, and I have zero complaints! A couple years ago when I had a tooth die from old trauma and was in a lot of pain, they saw me that day and helped me get to an endodontist that could see me that day as well. I always appreciate how friendly and gentle everyone is, as I get anxious at the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Bell and her staff for anyone who has anxiety about dental visits, and just in general for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and skilled dentist. Update 2025: Still great! Also, if you have the redhead gene where you're insensitive to the -caine family numbing agents, Dr. Bell will listen and believe you. She listened to what I had to say about prior experience, took it into account, and adjusted and acted accordingly. I didn't even know that was what caused that until just recently, all I knew was that numbing agents got me numb almost instantly, but didn't last very long at all. At prior dentists, by the time they started work the numbing was already starting to wear off. I told Dr. Bell, and she made sure that they dosed me up really well with a combination of different -caines, got to work right away, and worked quickly. I can't express how much that meant to me, to really be heard. I will continue seeing Dr. Bell for as long as she's practicing here!

I have not received this well of care in many years from a dentist. I felt very safe and reassured throughout my examination and cleaning. She was so kind I actually cannot wait to come back to see her. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and really showed she cared about my pain and tooth problems, sincerely. She even went the extra mile to clean my tooth that was in a lot of pain when I originally only came in for an X-ray. And with the month of June being hectic with graduations, sending a child off to college and other health issues I was not able to get in there by June. So now that I'm a month past my 1-year mark they want to charge me $104 just to look at it and determine adjustments to be made then charge me again to make the adjustments. I will also add that because my mom paid out of pocket for this, I am having a hard time finding another dentist that takes my insurance that will make adjustments on a partial they did not make. Extremely frustrated with the service, and the inability to take into consideration these circumstances. Even after spending $4000 dollars there I absolutely loved this dentist office when I first went there, my mom offered to have a partial made for me bc my insurance wouldn't cover it, with that being said I went to Dr Bell, she has the most upbeat personality a d is super nice, and made the dental experience as enjoyable as it can be. Even for someone like me who has a phobia of dental offices.

Experiencia negativa: Went here some time back and "Tymber" was super rude both in person and over the phone. The dental hygienist literally ripped my gum. Dr. Bell said I had 13 cavities, all of which were high priority. I got a second opinion and the "cavities" were some minor staining, and I only had 2 actual cavities that needed work. I paid in full for my procedure in office. Now I got a 90 day past due bill of over $100 with no idea what it's for. I also got zero previous bills to let me know anything was due. Super unprofessional, and money grabby. Hated it a lot, would never go again.

I already felt nervous about having to bring her to my appt and it had been awhile since Ive been to the dentist but everyone was very welcoming and friendly! It was reassuring to know most of them were all mom's too so they understood when my baby was getting fussy. Didn't feel as embarrassed when they did their assessment for me. It was overall a great experience. I also appreciated that they took time to better explain procedures to me so I knew what they were doing the whole time. Thank you all!

Experiencia negativa: Went to this dentist last year in 2023. Was quoted as needing a root canal, cavity fillings, and crowns and that was going to cost thousands of dollars out of pocket. Now that I have gotten a second opinion, my teeth are perfectly fine, no cavities, no need for crowns or a root canal. HIGHLY recommend that if they give you an estimate of a lot of work that needs to be done to GET A SECOND OPINION FIRST.

The one thing I would like to see improved is overall communication between the front desk and technicians/doctor. Sometimes having been on the phone they miss information from the back as a thorough handoff wasn't completed. The staff is nice and I will continue to use them.
