Manatee Dental At College Plaza

Experiencia negativa: After many decades of excellent service the current office team is not providing accurate information and taking advantage of their clients. The dentist changed to non network and I was not informed for semi annual cleaning. I scheduled a subsequent procedure being told it was covered by insurance and after procedure my invoice for the cleaning and procedure was $556.98. The cleaning should have been covered 100% instead of $275.50 and the procedure was to be covered 80% instead of 9.5% leaving me with another $281.48 balance. Even when asked about cost of recommended procedure was told covered by insurance. What a rip off. Do not trust this company! TS

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the whole staff. I was greeted with a huge smile on they continued from everyone. The dentist was great, the hygeinist was good and gentle, which was great and the office was great. I would recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: This dental group is NOT to be trusted. Twice now, once for myself and once for my spouse, we have been encouraged to have a crown put on a tooth. We were given a price (with insurance) and paid our share. Two months later they are unable to have the claim processed through insurance and we are left to pay that part as well. We are now out more than $1,000 dollars total for the incompetence of their billing department. They refuse to rebill the insurance and demand payment or face collection. Beware of using this office or dental group. Response to the 'owner' - I HAVE reached out ... SEVERAL times!! The person to speak with is always 'unavailable' and will return the call. THEY DO NOT!! The receptionist is extremely rude and will not listen to any request, just a mechanical repeat "What's the best time to call you." I just want to speak with the billing manager of the office and they will not accept or answer any calls!!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone there was very friendly and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional, new dentist is very nice! Very caring

Experiencia fantástica: The office manager was very helpful. I would highly recommend Manatee Dental. The receptionist was very helpful getting my insurance corrected.

Experiencia fantástica: Manatee Dental continues to provide professional and caring services

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional, wonderful staff.

Experiencia positiva: I went in for replacement of a crown. It's the third time in 3 yrs (all different teeth.) I have had 3 different dentists work on me but all were very nice and easy going. The staff, especially Violet, are all so nice. Only complaint is that they cycle thru dentists too fast. Hopefully this lady dentists will stay. They must not pay them very well???

Experiencia fantástica: Maanatee Dental has the most caring and professional staff you could ask for.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been attending this clinic for the past year and very grateful for everyone here. My dental hygienist is amazing and I feel comfortable with her to address my concerns and troubles. Dentists here are super friendly and helpful. Before becoming a patient here, I was very frightened to address the condition of my teeth but with their patience and knowledge, I’ve been able to take action on my dental health.

Experiencia fantástica: They were fantastic. The people were there were funny and kind and considerate to people who are trying to take care of their mouth. Thank you very much for your kindness.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to return to the dentist again on 2/27/2024 after my temporary crown came off again, which was the second time, due to my own behavior. I was due to return to the office on Monday, March 3, to have the permanent crown put on, if it had been delivered. While there, I asked had it come in, and the office staff checked, and I was told it had just been delivered. Dr. Loo, therefore put my permanent crown on instead. I was so thankful. Everything worked out. Dr Loo, the assistant, the intern and office staff were all very professional and pleasant. Again, my experience was great. I recommend Manatee Dental at College Plaza.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at Manatee Dental for several years. I have always received excellent service. Personel has changed over the many years but patient care has always been great.

Experiencia fantástica: I was so glad to need a dentist and Bradenton. Doctor Loo Was especially nice and was able to help me with my problem. I would rate her at 10 thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Manatee Dental ( Dental Hygienist) was Excellent and Professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful experience at Manatee dental! The office is very neat and clean and the staff are great. The ladies at the front desk are at friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The dental technician is very kind and empathetic. Both the dental hygienist and the dentist have excellent bedside manner and are very thorough. They explained exactly what they were doing, and they made sure that I understood and was comfortable with my treatment plan. I highly recommend Manatee dental!

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice staff. The new dentist was very gentle and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very cordial and helpful and the doctor went out of her way to offer her advice and answer my questions.

Experiencia negativa: We will be leaving and never coming back. If you have an emergency be prepared to get told to go to the ER. You can’t get you in, understaffed, closing early, closed on fridays. Always an excuse. Then the employee the only one there mind you is very rude and couldn’t have cared less that they lost our business. Better off finding a different dentist. We did and they got us in right away. And good thing my husband had a severe infection and was in terrible pain they turned him away.

Experiencia negativa: Needed my crown reattached -was told I would require new crown . They cemented crown temporarily and put cotton under crown .Drove 2 hours for the appointment Had no prior pain until I returned home 2 hours later - at which point crown fell right off and are now in pain !

Experiencia negativa: Problems with billing. I have never received a bill and went to collections. I totally feel taken advantage of.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Loo is an amazing dentist. I left my previous dentist because I did not have a great experience. I never really knew what was going on when I went to the dentist except when I did my cleaning. When I came to Manatee Dental, however, Dr. Loo was so patient with me, and explained what was causing my pain. She showed me models to explain what a crown was and explained what a root canal was. She advised me to try something out for a week, and if that didn't work then we would proceed to the next step. She kept a positive attitude and I understood what was done in my visit today and I even learned something new. I will definitely be back to see Dr. Loo.

Experiencia fantástica: Great service. Very professional and pleasant employees.

Experiencia fantástica: Best dental care in south west Florida. Irene is the best dental hygienist I have seen in Florida and I have been retired here for 34 years. Congratulations on the superior care.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful dentist office. Clean, friendly, caring, really takes time to listen to your concerns.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice atmosphere, highly skilled staff!

Experiencia fantástica: The ladies in this office are a wonderful team, Dr Loo, Violet, Ania and Amber at the front desk. Very welcoming, caring and took the best care of me. I highly recommend this office. I have finally found my new dentist.

Experiencia positiva: Very competent dental hygienist. Unfortunately they have yet to keep a dentist on staff for moe than a month or two

Experiencia fantástica: A very friendly dental staff and also very good at what they do. I never walk away disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Marco was exceptional. He is skilled, professional, and attentive to the comfort of his patients. I always return to Manatee Dental for Ms. Irene who is excellent and does my deep cleanings, but I will also return so that Dr. Marco will continue to be my dentist. I trust them both to continue giving me the best dental care available. Darlene Sharts Today I had my regular deep cleaning appointment with Ms. Irene who has helped my gums recover from serious gum disease. Not only does Irene do a thorough job of cleaning and caring for my gums during each visit, she has also taught me so much about maintaining my teeth and gums at home. I really appreciate Irene and the care I always receive at Manatee Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: Hi. I’m visiting from out of town. I had a dental emergency and I have no dental insurance. Manatee Dental’s office staff helped me get most of the procedure covered, and the Doctor was great. He was patient and very calming because really who want to go to the dentist. If I had it my way I would have all my dental work done by this office but I live in a different state. So those of you who are considering this dental office I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. P.S I called a few other dental offices and they all wanted to charge me a lot more than what I pay for my car note every month!

Experiencia fantástica: We went here today with my 10 y.o son. The office was able yo offer us appointment within 2 days. Doctor extracted his tooth after taking an x-ray. Very professional, courteous and fast.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Perez is outstanding. Fixed my crown today and my bite already feels better than it had in years After two bad experiences at different dentists in Bradenton, I’m very happy to have found the excellent dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Great service, friendly atmosphere and professional. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Irene is amazing! She took her time, she explained everything she was doing, she was gentle, kind and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend going and seeing her!

Experiencia fantástica: All the staff from the reception, hygienists and the Dentist were supremely polite and professional and very responsible taking care of me as a patient.

Experiencia fantástica: Even after a major tropical storm had passed thru, my appointment was on time & performed by my regular dental professional. She was efficient, effective and courteous! Explained the procedure and its cost. Very happy!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was pleasant and took care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing experience with the entire staff. Felt comfortable & welcome. I'm so scared of dental procedures but I feel comfortable letting Manatee Dental College working on my dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was so friendly and helpful and everything was so easy they explained everything would tell everyone if you need a dentist call them

Experiencia fantástica: I have a mouthful of repaired teeth. A couple of weeks ago I needed one extracted. Manatee dental thoroughly examined the tooth and decided there was no way to fix it and removed it and the tooth beside it. On my follow up visits the Oral surgeon has seen to the proper post op treatment for my extraction hole and it is healing. The office staff headed by Miss Jesse has been very friendly and helpful. The dental assistant and dentist were very good as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I hang a wonderful experience going 2. This dentist office, the girls. A print we're very nice. The assistant were accommodating and nice and friendly. And its maniac went above and beyond. I have nothing but good things to say about them. All wonderful and I recommend highly going there if you want to find a nice dentist who cares about you? In create you with respect and as a family member. I wanna thank you all very much for helping me last Monday. I appreciated it So very much. I am returning to them to. Get my benches done. They even went and ordered the special tray. So they fit for a bit and look exactly like my own. I highly recommend going to them. I went to the one on Cortez road. It's in the McDonald's plaza next to the goodwill. You're pulling it straight ahead. And talk to the girls find they go over Bixby I mean, it was just wonderful and that's why I'm returning to have them finish everything up. Happy 4th July to all you girls. See you Monday, thank you again. Recommend highly highly highly for you to go with the if you need your partials a food or teeth whatever. Go there and you won't regret it. Thanks again

Experiencia fantástica: Very fast & professional, i highly recommend Manatee Dental At College Plaza to perform all your dental care procedures.

Experiencia fantástica: You and your team went above and beyond to take care of the issues that I was having. You stayed late to help me with the pain I was in. I can't thank you enough!

Experiencia negativa: The dental work was decent although I see a lot of turnover. Front desk is a disaster. "The printer does not work because no paper". The young lady was focus on her curly hair but her work. She moved me 2 times from one computer to other. A very poor attitude to work with dignity. Very mediocre customer service. She was unable to give me a paper copy of my payment. She diminishes all the effort of her coworkers at the dentist seat.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional, made sure I didn't have any questions and that I understood everything.

Experiencia fantástica: First time patient, did not wait long to be called. Everyone is polite, respectful and attentive. I had filling and cleaning the same day. Most dental office do not allow 2 things at a time. Well organized place and everyone has a good sense of knowledge. I was explained everything they were doing in my teeth and constantly check if I was ok. I give this place a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia negativa: Horrible Dental experience My disabled father has been coming here for a couple of years now and there has been multiple Dentist's & Staff change over. My father came in for cleanings and recently a new Denture. New Denture did not fit right and they are blaming it on his Dementia and will not take any respondsibility. Left 2-3 voicemails for Front Desk (Jessica) and never calls back. Her response is she is too busy to listen to voicemails. No accountability & No apology. One day getting my father ready for his appointment they called an hour before and cancelled his appointment. Not all the staff is rude. Just Jessica! Should not be her position. The appointment for Denture was to put this material in it to do a Soft Realign and they said that the material will eventually fall over time and has to be redone again. Two different dentist's worked on this Denture. I went in to office to ask if we could return the denture since it needed a second realign. I explained his old one is doing better and the smart answer I received from Jessica, well why don't you go back to his old denitist and get another made. His old dentist is another state. UNACCEPTABLE remark. She told me to call my dad's Dental Insurance to seek out another person to Fix the Denture. She was suppose have a referral and couldn't find it. Letter received blaming patient and daughter for them not taking any respondsibilty. I would not RECOMMEND ANYONE to this OFFICE. Office seems to be unorganized everytime we have gone in. 6/17/24 I received a call from Dental Hygentist Athena. They do not care about the Customer and all they care about is telling me basically that I am lieing. No apology has been given and No Accountability taken. Asked me to take the review down and I will not.

Experiencia fantástica: Best experience ever! I give Manatee Dental a trillion stars the staff are truly Angel's on earth. I can't say enough good things about them all. I will never go anywhere else. This office will always be my go too. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Manatee Dental At College Plaza is great! I highly recommend them. Everyone there is very friendly and professional.

Experiencia positiva: Their dental hygienist was really gentle and kind. All the staff are very welcoming!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone who works at this office is extremely friendly and nothing but helpful pricing is very reasonable and they get me in and out without any problems every time 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Taken on time, friendly, professional staff and willing to listen and help in any way needed

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past so I was hesitant to try this place out but I’m very glad I did. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly , helpful , caring , clean , they go above and beyond for their customers , reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I am terrified of going to the dentist and the staff was amazing. They made sure to make me comfortable and were sensitive to how I felt through the whole process. They explained ever little detail of what I was to expect during my visit and helped me calm down (anxiety was clearly high). I would recommend this dental office to anyone who’s had a bad dental experience because it shows that they truly care about their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this dental office. Dentist is great, hygienist is excellent. Priced fairly. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to Manatee dental for quite a few years now. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 25 years ago. Because of all of the medication’s that I have had to take throughout the years, my teeth have literally been breaking off at the root. I’ve went to several dentist and I always left in tears because the cost to get my teeth done was something that I could not afford. I gave Manatee dental a try. They were so much cheaper than any place that I had gone to. And Jesse is an absolute angel. She discussed all of the options that my husband and I had for our teeth. We were able to get a loan through CareCredit. CareCredit was not quite enough to cover everything. But Jesse set up a payment plan that was affordable. I don’t know what Joe and I would have done Without these wonderful dentist and staff

Experiencia fantástica: I selected this office because my old dental office wasn't in network with my new insurance.Making the Appointment was easy. They were very thorough and explained everything to me. Every one was very friendly. They are very professional and at the same time they make you feel welcomed during the procedure. I definitely recommend them for your dental needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Kristen cleaned my teeth yesterday and it was by far the best cleaning I have had in a long time! Please keep her!

Experiencia fantástica: I was very aware of the care and patience that was taken by a most professional team.

Experiencia negativa: Buyer beware I went to this dentist several months ago for my free cleaning & check up . I was suddenly given a treatment plan stating I had 3 cavities under 3 crowns & shouldn't wait & it would cost 68 hundred dollars & of course l looked at them with 2 heads thinking what should I do Well I booked a trip back to Mexico where my Original work was done several years ago & not only seen one ADA dentist but 3 all much to my surprise said I didn't have any cavities & & there was no need for a charge . I was also advised that one cannot see through a crown to see cavities that the only way one would know is if they had a cavity is to remove the crown or the patient would have pain or the root would be inflammation neither was present. Sad to know honesty in Mexico is more prevalent then the good old USA .There is no way on God's green earth I would ever visit this dentist again. This trip to Mexico cost me 1000 dollars of course to find out nothing needed to be done. Do you think I'm mad better believe it

Experiencia fantástica: I'm sorry, I was unable to make my appointment due to illness.. I rescheduled. Thanks

Experiencia fantástica: Love the staff and the Dr. Treat me like family and hear my concerns

Experiencia fantástica: Office staff friendly, efficient, painless treatment...very pleased with dentist, hygienist, et al. Thank you for the good work

Experiencia fantástica: The office staff were all so friendly. The hygenist, Ilene, was so nice and gentle and made me feel at ease.

Experiencia fantástica: They listen to u and give u very gud feedback Excellent Staff let u Knw right away wats the problem and give u gud advice…………!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Very thorough and professional dentist and staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff has always been very attentive, kind, and easy to get a hold of. Irene is my favorite dental hygienist and I've been seeing her for years. At my last appointment I did not need to see the dentist as it was just a cleaning. However at my previous appt I did, they were very kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. Also affordable for those that don't have dental insurance like myself. I definitely recommend them to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good, clean, friendly and effective. I'm not going to recommend them because i don't want them to get too crowded. :-)

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience from start to finish.

Experiencia negativa: They had me waiting for an hour when I already had an appointment and still didn’t take me or even call my insurance to start taking action for a simple cleaning. Worst service I’ve ever seen in any type of medical establishment

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was great and amazing. I had a cleaning done and a check up. X-rays were taking without any issues. Athena was amazing and was careful throughout the whole process for the checkup. The hygienist did a flawless cleaning. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Staff! They were efficient and accommodating!

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you so much manatee dental for being so patient and very kind. My experience was so great, and the people were very amazing. They had so much knowledge and they took their time. I would definitely. Recommend this place.. Also the office was very clean.

Experiencia fantástica: Warm staff. New staff. Competent and thorough dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Welcoming friendly staff, Great dentist he's there to take care of you, not to sale you something you don't need. I recommend them to all my family and friends. They are the best. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: I broke a tooth and the sharp edge was hurting my tongue. This clinic came to my rescue, temporarily fixing the hole until I could schedule a permanent solution.

Experiencia fantástica: Great visit. Made me feel welcome and took care of my nerves with simple answers to my questions.

Experiencia positiva: A new dentist for me. Yes, they are very friendly and explain what they are doing and give you up front pricing before proceeding. Though, I'm a little unsure if my initial problem was completely taken care. I had a sore spot on the gum and wanted to make sure I wasn't compromising the tooth by allowing possible abscess to destroy root/bone. They did see in the complete x-rays taken that the bone and root did not show signs of infection (that was good) and the hygienist said she didn't see any issues due to plaque (that was good)....but, I'm still unsure of why this spot is there. They said to keep an eye on it and call if it persists. I guess my reason for going was addressed in the fact that the seemingly most serious possible problem was ruled out so I can allow it to hopefully heal on it's own. So, the 5th star wasn't given because I am still not sure why. Also, when I heard how much a cleaning was I almost fell out of my chair as I'm a cash patient....however, they did figure out a good discount that brought it much more into line with what I had been paying at my other dentist so that is not a game changer for me. Hygienist was great. Dentist was assuring about the good health of my teeth, gums, no sense of "upsell" going on. (I'm a bit cynical so was watching for that). I will continue with them at this time.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a broken tooth got in next day. They took my dental insurance. Got a new crown 2 weeks later. Violet was awesome dental assistant along with Jesse front desk.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff are all like family and treat all their patients as family! As well the great Dentist, Dr Kucysk, who really listens and cares, plus he’s so much fun! Best dentist experience I’ve had in all my 67 years. I swear I had to wait this long for him to be born and grow up to become truly the best Dentist and I’m grateful to have him in my court now. Can’t beat the service. This is a dental practice that actually spreads joy to everyone. The atmosphere is so bright and friendly. Their concern for patients is so evident and real. I consider this entire office as my friends.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service. Friendly staff. My teeth feel great! They take great care of all their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Nvr been to dentist and really scared cause I don't have insurance but been in severe pain for weeks and I can't keep working thru the pain any advice

Experiencia fantástica: This office staff were professional but like a family. They quickly made me feel comfortable and were efficient in every way. I do recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I had our first visit to Manatee Dental this week. A great experience. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Five star operation for sure! John Shaw Subsequently, I didcovered the customer service is lousy. Very long hold times. John

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist and my hygienist are the best! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Go anywhere else unless your self pay or like to waste your time. Terrible rude staff. Made appointment a week in advance, gave them ALL my insurance info and was confirmed. My wife and I show up for our appointments after both taking work off for the morning. We were greeted by staff that didn’t seem to know how to operate a computer and originally told us we didn’t not have an appointment after another staff came to help we were then told we do have an appointment but there’s a note on our file that they don’t take our insurance…we made the appointment over a week in advance and they had ALL our insurance information. Why did no one let us know this?
