I struggle with severe anxiety, and I knew I needed a team that would treat me with patience, compassion, and understanding. From the moment I walked in, that’s exactly what I found. The young lady who took my X-rays immediately made me feel at ease. Dr. Banks took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. When I met with Nyeisha, she continued that same level of kindness and genuinely went above and beyond to help me figure out the next steps. By the end of my appointment, I felt like I had been talking with friends instead of sitting in a dental office. Everyone made me feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. It’s clear that this team truly cares about their patients, and that makes all the difference. I’m incredibly grateful for the way they treated me and would highly recommend them to anyone—especially if dental anxiety has kept you from getting the care you need. Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE . I went there last week because i need a partial denture . They proceeded go upsell me crowns etc . I really didnt feel i needed zero issues . So i conceded to a crown and partial denture they agreed & billed me . Then call me today to tell me they cant do my teeth , to go somewhere else . I GLADLY WILL ! I am Leary with all doctors because I have extensive allergies . Im allergic to fluoride too . They refuse to do my work yet didnt refund my money yet. Im sure they will take their time . There are multiple lawsuits against Aspen dental as a whole franchise and their policies and procedures . So i was Leary to begin with . Ill just wait till next year now and go to mexico . Dentist in the states takes so many appts and no one cares how many xrays you’ve had recently . Ive had allot but no doctors really care what they do you you as long as they get paid . They also hung up on me repeatedly when i called about our money . I wasn’t yelling or being rude . They are rude . I felt like i was buying car there . The fear selling you need this to get this . No thanks ….

Got immediate care and although I'm not happy on the solution to the problem, (they were not involved in the problem.) I have clear options. Will try Aspen Dental in my hometown when I get back.

When I was called to confirm my appointments your staff had to leave a message on my phone; therefore I had to return the call to your office to confirm my appointments. I had a terrible experience when calling back to the office. Your recordings were the worst that I have ever experienced. You really need to review the message and improve the quality of the AI. I would answer the questions many times before I could get to where I needed to talk to a staff member.

However, my service at Aspen was superior, exceeded any expectation I had regarding the important. They took their time with me, provided education/information about each step of the exam process and then went over treatment plan recommendations and options. Overall, a phenomenal experience. Not to mention the looks of the place, warm and inviting.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not sure how their service is but I must mention that they canceled my appointment without my knowledge. Though I scheduled the appointment with their call center then confirmed through an email I received the appointment. It took me close to an hour to drive from Alexandra to be told my appointment was canceled because I did not give them a “verbal” confirmation. And in addition they close at one today so I would need to reschedule. If this is the policy, to make an appointment is that you need to “hear” my voice a day or two prior to an appointment that an “adult”made then this clearly needs to be posted on your website, in the multiple emails & texts ( which I confirmed via both) or at the very minimum the call center for appointments should mention this . Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: Please contact me to provide me with a refund, I have not received my final retainers and it has been almost two months. I am still using my last tray from my aligners and its loose, my teeth are shifting out of place. Making my whole process a waste of money and time. Update 4/7/26 below: This office still hasn't made this situation right, it's very unfortunate. In January of 2026 my smile was straight after a years worth of work, it took them 3 months for them to provide me with permanent retainer. During this 3 months I called and begged them for the retainers and they kept telling me incorrect information, I advised them over 10 times that it teeth were spreading. Today when I show up, I was told that nothing could be done for me and I was at the end of treatment. That I would have to deal with the spreading even though they were the cause of the issue and the delay in me receiving the permanent retainer. This staff is rude and very unprofessional. I dont even trust them having my information on file. My advice is find a better dental office to deal with....even another aspen will be better than this. Trust me the only thing you pay for here is disrespect. Thank you,

Experiencia fantástica: On March 30, 2026, I attended my first appointment at Aspen Dental in Waldorf, Maryland. I was treated very well by the entire staff. Each procedure performed was fully explained and all questions were explained in depth. I felt very comfortable and at ease. Aspen Dental will be the final stop for all my dental needs.

Experiencia negativa: Everything was pleasant; however, I sent in to get something for the pain in my mouth. The doctor talked about everything ( pulling my teeth, partial...) worth $1400+ and a referral for my pain. Not very personal .

She was very cordial, introduced herself as my hygienist for today and she was exceptionally very professional. She explained thoroughly every aspect of my oral care I received today and why. I went in for an emergency, but had to wait for relief in pain for a whole day. I don’t know who it’s on or who needs to hit the refresh button, but I was looking for relief & im still in agony. I would think that I would get medication to hold me over til my prescription was ready if it’s known that it takes forever for information from 1 place to another to be received especially in this technical age

From the receptionist to the XRay tech, Alyssa, dental assistant India and Dr. Banks- it was THE BEST dental experience I’ve EVER had. They transformed my smile in less than one hour. Experiencia fantástica: I just visited the dentist again for my cleaning and again Stellar service and a stellar staff. I can't say enough good things about them. Anytime they check your blood pressure before doing anything to make sure that you're feeling fine and they are genuinely concerned with the patient. I can't say enough good things about them. This was by far the best visit to a dentist office. The staff is awesome and the dentist had a gentle touch and I talked so much about needing a topical numbing solution applied because of the pain I usually feel. We laughed because I never felt pain and she (the dentist) said it always happens like this. I have nothing but good things to say!!!

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I initially made an appointment for Monday but had to reschedule for Wednesday, September 10, due to work conflicts. From the moment I booked, I was bombarded with phone calls—several times a day across multiple days—asking me the same questions repeatedly about the reason for my visit and my insurance information. I had already provided my insurance details during the first call, but I still complied and provided it again multiple times, even on a Saturday morning. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment—just a routine check-up and cleaning—I was asked again for my ID and insurance card, which I provided. While completing paperwork, the front desk staff member (who was quite rude) claimed my insurance wasn’t working in their system and asked if I had another plan. I explained that I didn’t have a separate dental card but was covered under an Aetna PPO plan. Without any explanation, she walked away, came back, and told me I had a DMO plan, which they don’t accept. I pulled up my insurance details directly from the Aetna website on my phone to show that I had a PPO, not a DMO. She refused to even look at it and just repeated, “Ma’am, we looked it up—it’s a DMO,” and then dismissed me by returning to the back office to retrieve forms them printed from some online website. I directed her to shred the paperwork. She handed my card back with an attitude and told me, “Here’s your insurance card,” as if I had wasted their time. I told her this whole situation was unacceptable and that the office had wasted my time and caused me to miss an hour of work. If my insurance truly wasn’t accepted, I should never have been confirmed or allowed to check in. I would not recommend this office based solely on the disorganization and unprofessionalism of the front desk staff and whoever handles their scheduling and insurance verification. 0 out of 10 experience.
