Experiencia negativa: Where do I start, well when I call it is the secretary at the front desk. No accountability. I showed up for my appointment on time and the same lady I had talked to lied to my face telling me "someone" left notes stating a voicemail was sent. While I was in the office I checked and asked for numbers which I could cross reference and no voicemails from any of these numbers, also no emails sent. I did my part by showing up and was assured that by time I was in the office my insurance would be figured out, this is after I had given any provider information on my current issued insurance card. After driving 120 miles today to make an appointment for a root canal that hurts like no other, and to only be lied to by the person who answered the phone on Monday, who was absolutely the person I talked to today. This front desk person simply didn't do a good job, wasted my time, money, and was happy to accept my cash if I wanted to get this problem squared away forgetting my insurance all together. With employees that have a disregard for common courtesy and accountability, it will hurt the company. I sure won't be going back, thx front desk lady, great work.

It has now been six weeks, and I am still dealing with gum and nerve sensitivity that I was not experiencing before. What stood out most was the lack of follow-up. I only received a call after posting my experience publicly—not when I was struggling with my recovery. I wish I had been given more information upfront so I could make the best decision for my dental health. I encourage anyone considering this office to ask questions, get second opinions, and do your research. A decision like this can have long-term effects, and it’s important to feel confident in the care you receive.

What I appreciated were the questions about my priorities as a dental patient. I also appreciated being asked if I wanted straight to the point details or more in depth information. I was a little anxious but that dissipated quickly. From the X-rays, exam, and cleaning all went well and I appreciated the focus on what I wanted. I Looked at reviews and decided to give them a try because they're right around the corner from me. They have been great. They work with my schedule, always making sure I'm comfortable and I get what I want/need done first. I'm so happy I found them and highly recommend them. Update:5/9/24 I Don’t go to the dentist like I probably should. It’s been a couple of years since I have been there. But still same great service. All of them are amazing. Even not being there for two years, I was still recognized and very welcomed. I just can’t say enough great things about this place. Id be lost without this place.

I believe the doctor's staff also provides the initial view of the practice as a whole. You will receive one of …if not …the Most thorough exam and cleaning you’ve ever had with Miss Candy! Being that I am always a nervous wreck when I visit dentists .. knowing Candy is the one working on me I can be at ease. You are offered items you may not have even thought of needing for comfort such as a blanket, brand new earphones, pillow for ones like me with neck and back issues, phone charger, remote, water bottle.. the list goes on. Doc always takes the time and patience to explain what needs to be worked on, how and why. Right away You are made to feel as a member of the family. In fact Our family won’t go anywhere else. Oh they also have a great prices for those without dental insurance like myself which means dental care is no longer considered a “luxury”!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr and staff have been so wonderful!!! Dr and staff are so welcoming and answer all questions and explain everything in detail. All have been very patient with my young kids. They also schedule any appointments we may need the next possible time or even try to squeeze us in that day. During COVID my daughter had a dental emergency and Dr was at the office within 30 minutes to get her tooth pulled and get her taken care of so she was no longer in pain. One of the BEST dentist I’ve had in a while. My kids loving coming to the dentist since they are so gentle and kind.

Sheli at the front desk was absolutely lovely and wonderful to have a conversation with. Initially, I had an issue with insurance but she was incredibly patient and was able to help me out. Experiencia fantástica: I came to glowing smile and I had pain in my mouth. They did all the necessary x-rays and found that I needed a root canal. The doctor reached out to a specialist right then and got me in on the same day to have the problem corrected. I’ve never had a dentist go so above and beyond to ensure that I am taken care of and then he called me on a Saturday evening to find out how I was feeling and if everything was better, this was amazing for a doctor to reach out to me on their day off I will always come to glowing smiles for all of my dental work

I cannot overstate how much I enjoy this office and this team!! I make jokes to my supervisor about needing time off for a dental visit,,, honestly though, it's always an easy time here!! UPDATE 11/4/2022 I just figured that I'd give another round of applause for the best dental office that I have EVER had!! It was another easy visit with genuinely great people, and a lot of laughs as well! They also showed me how I can save a lot of money between two insurances, to get a crown replaced for one of my two front teeth!! Experiencia fantástica: My daughter and I have been patients of A Glowing Smile before Dr. Dicello took over the practice. We’ve remained patients even though they no longer accept my insurance. In January, I began the lengthy process of getting snap-in dentures. Had my upper teeth removed, bone grafts, bone shaved down, etc. Dr. Dicello and his assistant, Blanca, are just wonderful. Any time I was having pain, or just concerned of my progress, Dr. Dicello would get me in regardless if his schedule was full. Even the office staff are wonderful. In the beginning, I was confused about the process and my options. Even though Elvira was on maternity leave, she’d take the time to call and answer my questions. Dr. Dicello and the staff at A Glowing Smile care about their patients and I recommend them to everyone I know

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this scam of a business at all cost. I was charged for work I never approved of in October 2020. December 2021 I get a bill in the mail for work I never approved. The dates on my recipients don't add up to my bill I've received. I have great insurance that should have been covered but I was still charged. I will be contacting the BBB and Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners.

Claimed that I have to pay half price to schedule me!!!!! I never treat like that before , I feel so frustrated because they basically give me a message that we don't trust you !!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I can’t tell you how horrible this dentist is. My son had a horrible toothache and I was trying to get him seen ASAP. I felt so relieved that they could see him first thing in the morning. I should have known the reason it was because of how unprofessional and disrespectful this dentist is. During the treatment my son had an infection and had to be cleaned out. I know my kid and I was trying to support him and the dentist scolded me and told me he would remove me if I continued. He later tried to apologize but it was like he couldn’t understand at all because he is the typical macho man that thinks he knows it all. He is insincere and beyond rude. Please don’t bring your kids here and hopefully I can save others from this horrible experience that traumatized both my son and I. There is a reason dentists are known for being evil and people hate going.

They give you a tour the first time you go which is so personable and awesome. I was also given a welcome card as well. I haven't had customer service like this ever! I'm so impressed and the rest of my family will definitely be going here :)

Experiencia fantástica: Went for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Tammy my hygienist was super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Dicello took his time with his examination and was great to deal with as well. I travel full time and work remote and they didn't need to offer such great service as it was a one and done situation. They did not care and took great care of me and I will 100% revisit their office again if ever in the Phoenix area. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This peoria dentist is our favorite, not only do they care for both Spanish and English patients, they also provide cleanings, crowns, implants, emergency dentistry, wisdom teeth removal, dentures, children's dentistry, root canal, and teeth whitening. As a family dentist there's not much more we can ask for. Anthony Dicello and Erin Maruska are both great local dentists. Check them out! =)

Experiencia negativa: We have been going here for over a year and it's been great but our last visit was enough for us never to come back. My 8 yo and 14 yo were treated so bad by a lady named tammy. There was so much that went wrong. After making my 8 yo cry and refusing to let us go back there to assist( I understand covids new rules), she also came out and belittled our family discussing my daughters teeth hygiene in the main lobby in front, with other customers in there. Which I am sure is against HIPAA rules. Later both my daughters told me she was rude and made them feel bad for not doing the xrays right. When called the office manager was definitely polite about the incident. Really it comes down to my 8yo experience, she will remember this and if she dosnt want to come back why should I make her when there are other places I can take her.

Seriously was my hero after a week of extreme pain. I would definitely recommend going here if you need a great dentist with fair prices.

The staff was super friendly and Dr. Dicello was very thorough and gental. I'm 73 and have never had an amazing dentist till now. Thank you for everything!!

Experiencia positiva: The staff and dentists at A Glowing Smile Dental Care are always very courteous and kind, so you can really tell that they care about giving patients good service. The wait times are almost nonexistent and the dentists have patient comfort as their top priority. I haven’t really had a bad experience at this dentist office, although I will say the high fee for missing an appointment no matter the reason Is a bit harsh.

Experiencia fantástica: As cheesy as it sounds 5 stars is not enough. I have been going here for almost 5 years now. I started going here when I first moved to AZ when Dr. Maruska was still the main doctor. it was an amazing place then and is still just as amazing with Dr. Dicello. The staff there are hands down the best. I feel like family every time I walk in. They remember who I am and even recall things I have talked about since my last visit over 6 months ago. Dr. Dicello and the rest of the tech are extremely gentle and keep me comfortable then entire time. They really get to know you and make sure any concerns you have are address. Everyone always has smile on their face, even when you get there at 7am for a morning appt. I dont know about you but i am not a morning person and 7am can be rough. But no matter what they always ensure you have a great visit. The office is very clean and they are always finding new fun ways to engage with their customers. No matter where i live in the valley I will always keep them as my number one dental care provider. Keep up the great work you guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Super friendly and accommodating staff! Was greated with a tour before being given my exam by the sweetest hygienist. The doctor was incredibly nice and made you feel so welcome! Even more, when I had to leave mid-exam to pick up my child, they offered to let me go get my son and bring him back to have my work finished that afternoon. The hygienist stopped mid-cleaning multiple times to let me tend to my newborn when he got fussy. Can't say enough good things about them!

Experiencia negativa: First of all let me start off by saying that I wish I could rate ZERO stars. You walking in to a receptionist only on her smart watch, then when it’s finally time for her to notice you your kept in the waiting room for 40 minutes, THEN when your finally brought to the back your in their chair for another 10 minutes. Other people work too and have their own busy schedules, no one has the time to take out of their day to just sit around a dentist office all day. Now that’s just the beginning of it imagine getting a call from the owning dr himself saying that he doesn’t want you to come back and that you should find another place after you’ve already been scheduled to fix a mistake they made in the first place! Do NOT go here bad customer service and waste of time and money.

Experiencia fantástica: I scheduled a consultation after researching online. It's been awhile since I've been to the dentist due to dentist anxiety. I noticed several reviews on here highlighted how A Glowing Smile is great with apprehensive patients. Elvira was very helpful scheduling the appointment the very next day at 6:40 AM. The early appointment is a very nice option. I'm a morning person, so I jumped on it. Elvira handled all of my Delta Dental insurance information prior to my visit which was nice. There's a few things I noticed right from the start. There's no pressure for services or procedures. The office is very, very clean. Customer service is top-notch and seems genuine - no phoniness. Shannon, the dental hygienist, gave me a quick tour of the facility. I'm not sure if this is something they give every new patient, but it was nice to see credentials, the rooms, and the process before even taking a seat on the dentist's chair. Shannon took extensive x-rays and photographs. She was very patient and explained things along the way. She was receptive to questions and pretty much allayed any fears I had before even meeting the dentist, Dr. Dicello. Dr. Dicello was also genuine and sensitive. He and Shannon went over the x-rays with me and offered ideas on next steps. Again, there was no pressure. There was no shaming, and I never felt embarrassed or concerned. They recommended a scaling and root planing, fillings, extraction, and a referral to another dentist to examine a crown. I asked about implants, and Dr. Dicello and Shannon both explained the process. After I pre-paid for all of the procedures, they were able to schedule me for the scaling and root planing on the same day. I advised them I took off two weeks of annual leave from work, and they were able to schedule all of the procedures during that time which was absolutely amazing. Shannon performed the scaling and root planing. She walked me through the process. It wasn't painful at all. She numbed my gums thoroughly prior to the procedure. I highly recommend A Glowing Smile. They are very professional, customer service oriented, and just all around nice people. *** I'll update this review as I receive more procedures.

Today the doc noticed one of my fillings needed fixed and he offered to take care of it free. They were able to get me right in after my cleaning to be sure things were taken care of right away. Experiencia negativa: I have gone here myself and taken both my brothers here since we moved here in Peoria in 2001. This was the only dental office I took my brothers to since then till now. Glowing Dental makes appointments and send notifications for these appointments for my brothers, and they did not go to them recently due to being busy with school. However, those appointments were never verbally asked for by myself or my family , but were automatically scheduled for them. We know we didn't schedule them so we didn't bother to call to cancel thinking maybe its just a reminder for their next exam. Now the one time we made an appointment verbally over the phone, he did miss that appointment. His name is Khang Vo. The same facility that referred him to EoS orthodontics for braces.. which he is still currently getting his braces done.. asked him to get deep cleaning before their next exam. Well, he scheduled it 2 weeks after the deep cleaning was suppose to be done. We tried to call the day of the missed appointment and found out he was let go as a patient. A patient of this office for over a decade. I gave my phone number for the office manager to call me and the person never called me to follow up. Now we are with another dental office and it is so heart breaking for me to leave The Glowing Smile Dental Care. I knew the front desk ladies for so long and the Dentist there do a good job. However, you lost a family of patients because loyalty does not mean anything. I understand the missed appointment can go to someone else, but we were still trying to work with the office to make adjustments, even same day.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a dental hygienist for years (not with this office), so I’ve definitely learned to recognize a great dental office when I come across one and this one gets my stamp of approval . I moved to AZ from AK less than a year ago and had a hard time searching for an office that I could put trust in for my family’s dental care. My Alaska dental family set the standards high, so I came to realize I might not find the same level of care again. But then I did! Dr. Dicello is so warm and welcoming and a talented doctor. He did a great job of educating my son on his oral health and taking care of my husband. And I can say the same for Shannon, a wonderful hygienist. She’s experienced, educational, friendly and great at what she does. I’ll give a special thanks to the front desk/ office manager Elvira. I knew she was busy, but didn’t hesitate to pause for a few minutes to socialize with me, answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed before leaving. Her and Shannon were both great about making sure my insurance got verified before treatment resulting in the least amount of money possible out of my pocket, which is ALWAYS appreciated. :) Thanks for everything @ A Glowing Smile.
