From the moment I arrived, the ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and polite. I did not feel out of place at all. Robert Gomez and Dr . I’ve had a lot of bad dentist in my time and I was nervous to go to another dentist but he was very close to my home so I gave him a try.Well he has so much work to mouth because I neglected my teeth for a long time because of bad experiences and no insurance for a long time.So now poor Dr Slack has kinda rebuilt my mouth the best that can.Now my son has insurance and have him see Dr.Slack and he is so good with son! My son is adult with some emotional issues but Dr.Slack is great with him.I’m glad I found Dr.Slack and all the other girls that keeps the place going.Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing and it's only 5 minutes from my house. Johanna who I think is a dental assistant was amazing. She provided me with hella tips on how to improve my dental health and the dentist Dr. Slack is fantastic at his profession. He's quick, skilled, and has a really personable demeanor. The location is clean and accommodating. It can be quite busy at times so I don't know if that should be reason for a star removal. But it still runs with great efficiency and they have plenty of front desk staff that makes the operation smooth. I love visiting this place I'm sure u will to.

Experiencia negativa: This place is nice and clean. I didn't have the best experience here. New patient getting my teeth cleaned, in my case a deep clean. A two part session. The first left session went great. Joana was hands on the whole time. When I came back a week later to finish my right side, it was nothing like the first visit. Joana told the younger assistant to start polishing my right side. The younger/bigger assistant said" it was not in my notes" she left me in the room with numbing red gel for so long my mouth was filled with my saliva, I had to get up pull the trash out of the cabinet so I can spit it out. Joana the first assistance only polished one side of my teeth. When I mentioned it the hygienist he said him or the first assistant would finish the job. No, a woman not even wearing scrubs came in and polished my right side for way less time. Not to mention, they only floshed one side of my teeth. I payed $ 305.00 each session with insurance. This is something I've been wanting to do for so long it was not cheap. This place ruined it for me, I will not continue going back for the Periodontal maintenance to pay $136.00. My insurance pays for two cleaning a year. Idk why they couldn't use it.

Experiencia fantástica: wow. I don't mind coming here to let Dr. Slack care for my teeth and gums. Nice staff and waiting room is always good to have, but dentists like Dr. Slack are special. He really understands the patient's point of view. Making sure we are comfortable, that we understand what is trouble, what can be done, and even during procedures, Dr. Slack communicates what he's about to do. I have had many dentists and Dr. Slack is one who cares more about what's best for the patient not his own wallet. The entire office is kept clean too. A well run practice that we can trust.

Experiencia negativa: Do Not Come Here Period. They Chipped My Filling While Cleaning My Teeth And Did Not Take Accountability For It. The Dental Hygienist Was Laughing Starring At Me Laughing When She Knew I Was Mad. She Is Very Aggressive While Cleaning The Teeth And Even Apologized For Being Aggressive. She Did Chip My Filling And Lied About It. Worst Place Ever!!! Unsympathetic Doctor And Worst Staff!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Finally found a good dentist! Since moving to Arizona we have been through 4 other dentist before finding Dr Slack. Prior to moving here my cousin was our family dentist so the bar was set pretty high. Trying to find a good dentist that wasn't inept or just trying to make money has been very difficult until now. Dr Slack is so nice and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing as he went along. Bonus, he's also much more gentle than my own cousin! Dr Slack has been the much needed ray of sunshine in our miserable dental hunt. Thank you for letting me know there's still good people in this world.

Experiencia negativa: Really nice facility. The staff was rather nice but very misleading. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover my first visit and that I would pay the initial $129.00 out of pocket and that they would "bill" my insurance for any procedure that I would possibly need. It wasn't till after paying the $129.00 and getting a treatment plan that I was now told they didn't accept my insurance at all as a matter of fact. Feel kinda robbed, paid all that money just to be told I have issues in my month that costs over $3600. Now I remember why it's been 10+ years since my last dental appt.

They always put your comfort first and even offer pillows and blankets! My entire family goes here, from my granddaughter with braces, my son with special needs and myself. I always recommend!

The staff, Joanna, and Andrew are all great but Dr. Slack takes the cake. I have been to alot of dentists and have had some truly traumatic experiences but I will never go to another dentist again. Dr. Slack is compassionate (even though I am probably not the easiest patient) and takes the time to explain everything he is doing. He has even taken extra time to make sure to figure out the cause of my tooth pain even though the answer wound up taking more of his time and costing me much less. This dentist is truly cut from a different clothe and I am grateful my family has found him. If you are on the fence about your dentist or looking for a new one this office will not dissapoint.

We were in an urgent situation of tooth pain and they took us in a very short time frame. It was so nice to be relaxed in a dentist’s office. Kind, caring, and treat you like family. The doctor's are incredibly accommodating and answer any questions that you might have. They're friendly, considerate, and have been doing this for many years. I absolutely trust their advice when it comes to my teeth, and their ability to work on my them. I have worked with Joanna on both visits as my tech, and she has been absolutely wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and is willing to go the extra mile for you to make sure your concerns are heard. It has definitely been a pleasure to work with Dr. Hall and her staff. I will be coming back for any of my future dental needs, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone else that might need dental work!

Experiencia fantástica: had a great experience with dental assistant Joanna Castro today, phenomenal personality, makes you feel welcomed and very comfortable. my blood pressure reading was it's best it's been in awhile, that's how comfortable she made me. i'm not the easiest patient when it comes to taking mouth x-rays as i have a gag reflex but she was very considerate of that and was able to get all the necessary X-rays. again she was great and i look forward to her assisting with all my future dental work. Experiencia fantástica: I came into this off due to tooth pain (wisdom tooth) they were able to pull both wisdom teeth same day :) ive gone back 2 more times for cleaning and fills. They are extremely professional, explain everything, make sure you are numb (even if it takes multiple times) and are very friendly. I'm very happy with this office and will continue my dental care here.

I asked them not to charge my insurance if they weren’t gonna clean my teeth so I can go else where. Then they decided to clean them. It was the shortest clean I have ever received. Experiencia fantástica: Best dental atmosphere ever! From Shelly at the front desk on my first phone call (SHE IS THE BEST!) to Manny in Financial to the tour through the office and last but not least the Doctor's! Dr Furlong and the hygienist gave me a very in depth detailed account of my current dental state. There were a few options given but none persuaded more than another. The discussion led to a joint resolution that the Dr and I were both comfortable with. Shelly and Manny were great at making sure my first visit was pleasant and I didn't leave without my questions being answered. My second appointment went well. Shelly called me the day of the appt and had an early opening so I jumped on it! Dr Hull did the fillings and walked me through the extractions I needed for my old wisdom teeth. She suggested we do it all at once and again was very gracious as I asked a lot of questions. But never have I ever had such a pleasant experience with a dentist over something that no one likes to discuss. We proceeded with one extraction and the whole staff helped me through my anxiety and the process and everything went smoothly. I TRUST Dr Hull to work on me again next time! After the appt Shelly was so kind to sit with me and walk me to my car. She is a KEEPER! I have now recommended my husband and friends to Compass Point dental. You will be so happy you went!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give a 0 I would. From the incompetence of the prior auth to the lack of concern that the cleaning staff offered, I would highly recommend another dental office. Took the entire family in for dental cleanings on February 1st. The hygienists were rude and actually laughed at one of the kids - there was one great woman who was very sympathetic and was a pleasure to work with, but that was largely overshadowed by the other few people working that day. But back to the appt...February 1st. Made sure that they knew to only perform what was covered under the cleaning/6 month visit. Now today, more than SIX MONTHS LATER, I get a bill for exam fees that they performed without my consent! Beware of this place!

I would say by far this was the last painful dental visit I've had and I had 3 teeth removed and a couple fillings w just nitrous. Highly recommend!!!

The facility is clean and homey . I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. The wait is not long at all. And they make sure your mouth feels clean and fresh before u get up from that chair. Olivia is the front desk financial officer and she explains in detail what insurance you have and what they cover amd and she is superb on explaining and making you feel no obligation. Manny who is also a very well respected dental doctor sits with you to make sure u have a budget that u can work with. Doctor Anderso. Is very gentle and detailed on the work you need. And does everything to make your smile bright. Joanna was the dental assistant i had and i felt as if she was my tia and talked like we knew eachother forever. Definitely will be a frequent client. And i will bring my daughter for orthodontic services as well. They are so convenient they have pediatrics dental adult dental and orthodontics all in the same building. So bring your whole family because you will not regret it. Their services are EXCELLENT!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I had such high hopes for this place, based on the number of positive reviews. I have been there twice for regular check up/cleaning appointments. Both times they claimed that I had numerous cavities. The first time I didn’t question them and forked over the money to have it taken care of. The second time I became suspicious because I’ve never before had this many cavities and I had hoped the first time was a fluke. I got additional opinions from two different dentist who both said I have ZERO cavities. Also, I’ve never been so physically uncomfortable as I was when they did my fillings. I’ve had fillings before and have never seen such a lack of understanding about how to keep ppl comfortable during the process. And finally, this one is subjective, but I seriously got so tired of how I felt like they spoke to me like I was a child. I’m 34 years old and I felt like they were practically doing baby talk with me the entire appointment. Maybe they’re good with kids, But as an adult I could not stand trying to have conversations with them.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience here, came in with a really badly aching tooth. Got an appt the next day and they took care of all the insurance paperwork. I paid nothing for a root canal and I walked out pain free. They put music on during the procedure, which keeps the atmosphere very comfortable. Dr Anderson is a real professional and his staff treats you like family. Theresa makes you feel right at home and Sylvia is excellent with caps, she's a real pro. I would give this office 10 stars if I could and my family and I look forward to getting all our dental services for the foreseeable future✊

Experiencia fantástica: I have extremely bad anxiety whenever I think about the dentist but I just had the best experience of my life at compass point dental. I had never been there before but when I went in everyone at the front desk answered all my questions and calmed my concerns right away. The second person I meant was Joanne Castro the dental assistant, she explained everything to me. I never met her before but she was like my best friend. After I talk to the dentist I never felt more relaxed in a dentist's office. I believe compass point dental is the most understanding compassionate professional dentist I have ever been to and I would strongly suggest anyone who has dental needs to go there.

Experiencia fantástica: I was forced to go to the dentist in order to take advantage of my insurance coverage limits before end of year. Im not a fan of dental pain so I go once every 5 to 8 years as needed. From the start, the staff was really sweet and comforting. I really liked the tour of the office they give on your first visit. Let's me know they are not hiding any bodies in the back. *fearful of dentist, it's possible*. I was seen by Dr Hull. She's got a great personality and awesome energy. She makes you feel like your bad teeth are not really that bad. Come on, 8 years since my last visit. I had a view minor cavities. However she made me feel like I was doing a good job with my teeth. I know I could do better... dang floss and bleeding gums! I loath you! Over all, they were clear and let me know in detail what's going on. The facility was clean and staff was great. Plus they have this cool xray gun thing, so it was much more relaxing then being in a unit. Also fed my inner nerd... but unfortunately they don't let you play with it. :(... im do back for a cleaning, I might be able to get my hands on it eventually. Over all, I think I found my new dental home. They are worth giving a try if you are not a fan of dentist. They are pretty accommodating and understanding.

Experiencia fantástica: Omg where to begin! I came to this practice for my daughters! They see Dr. Almendinger in the Phoenix Pediatric Dental down stairs! He is amazing and so good with my kids! The staff and facility are amazing and my kids always enjoy their experiences there. However, Dr. Almendinger referred me to Compass Dental and I’m so glad he did! I had told him about all me bad experiences and this place has been so far from that! From my first visit when I was in so much pain they got me in same day and made me so comfortable and got me taken care of. I have now been in on 3 different occasions and each time had a different staff member assist. Sylvia, Griselda, Brittany, Celina and don’t forget Dr. Anderson were amazing and had a great bedside manner. Dr. Anderson worked very quickly and is Great at his craft! The staff is very social and made me the patient feel number one at all times. The front office staff was also amazing and accommodated me when I was running late and was very understanding. They made me feel valued and I want to make sure everyone reads this and gives them a shot. I’m normally scared to go to dentist and won’t ever be again they are AMAZING! They even have late hours!!!! Huge plus and kinda feel guilty left there at 6:45. Thanks everyone I appreciate it so much and really enjoyed getting to know the practice!
