Louisiana Dental Center - Chalmette

Experiencia fantástica: A great place the staff will take great care of you. My whole family goes to this location. Rose was the best very informative and caring. I appreciated all she did on this morning.

Experiencia fantástica: I drove by and saw their sign said "We Cater to Cowards" which describes me. I have battled with PTSD for majority of my life and the dentist has triggered it. My dental appointments have always been nightmares in the past for myself and the staff working with me. I liked that they were able to talk with me ahead of time and actually seemed to understand PTSD. I was told the costs prior to my appointment so I could prepare financially. The dental hygienist was really great at talking to calm my nerves but not making me feel like I needed to talk while she had something in my mouth. I gave permission for my boyfriend to schedule my follow-up appt since his schedule is less flexible than mine and they actually listened to me. I was even happier when leaving and my total was much less than the max cost we had discussed prior to my visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to this dentist office since I was 13 years old and I’m 26 now. Always welcoming and helpful. I get out at a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend this dentist office to friends and relatives.

Experiencia positiva: The dental office was clean, professional, and conveniently located near my workplace, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this provider. The staff and doctors were courteous, knowledgeable and professional throughout my visit. My only concern was the wait time. Although I arrived on time for my appointment, I waited approximately 20 minutes or more before being seen. While this may not seem excessive, I was on my lunch break, and time is very important during that limited window. Overall, I had a positive experience, but a shorter wait time would have made the visit even better.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is very nice and professional. I would not go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: The people that work there were very professional and everything was in a timely manner!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I called today fior an appointment and was seen today . They relieved my discomfort and the doctor and his assistant were very concerning and accommodating. So thankful.

Experiencia fantástica: Always in and out with the best service. If you need a dentist this is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a new patient and was treated with open arms. Extremely nice all around people. Was a few minutes late because I had forgotten where the dental center was located. Didn't have a check, misplaced my card and was supposed to pay for my visit. Forgot about taking my meds. Everything I did was wrong but they all came together to help and put me together again. Very good welcome.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Awsome place to get dental work. The doctors and hygienist are quick professional and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to La. Dental( Chalmette) since the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. They were the only dental open beside Covington facility. All of five of my kids have been serviced there. They are always cordial and just feel like neighborhood dentistry. Although , I see new faces, however their attentiveness is always on point.Today I had the pleasure of meeting new hygienist and assistant, Gretchen and Brandi. They listened and informed me how to take better care of my gum and teeth. I was being serviced less than 10 mins of my arrival time. Impressed and will share with family and friends.

Experiencia fantástica: My appointment was for 11am and shortly after I completed my forms, I was taken to the back, made comfortable and treated with respect as the technician informed me of my care options. X-rays and my blood pressure were taken. Dr Nguyen extracted three teeth and showed concern for my comfort. Though the process was complicated, Dr Nguyen did a great job. I didn’t feel a thing. Everyone was super professional yet friendly and made my whole experience a very pleasant one. Thank you everyone, you made a stressful time a pleasant one for me.

Experiencia fantástica: Great hygienist by the name of Thuy. Super friendly and made what otherwise would be another boring trip to the dentist a barrel of laughs. Not only was she good at her job but told the best knock knock jokes. And my teeth feel good again. Thanks Thuy and staff! Yall rock !!

Experiencia positiva: I am not sure why I am having little payments after each visit, have prices changed and I should be paying more for my insurance???

Experiencia fantástica: Great customer service, clean office and very professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Bonnie! She went above and beyond to make sure I was fully informed about my dental procedure and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. She carefully reviewed all of my payment options and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. During the procedure, she continuously reassured me and made sure I was doing okay. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. She made a big difference in my experience!

Experiencia negativa: The dentist and assistants were professional and friendly, and I was satisfied with the treatment. However, the receptionist was completely different. When I said I use Louisiana Medicaid, her attitude clearly changed: no greeting, cold looks, reluctant nods. With American or English-speaking patients, she was friendly. No one should be looked down upon because of their insurance or language ability. I will reconsider whether I continue treatment at this clinic.

Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed with how I was treated by the receptionist at this clinic. The dentist and assistants were professional, friendly, and skilled. I was satisfied with the treatment. However, my experience at the front desk was completely unacceptable. As soon as the receptionist asked what insurance I had and I answered that I use MediCaid her attitude clearly changed. There was no greeting, no polite communication, just a cold look and a reluctant nod. I felt looked down upon simply because of the type of insurance I have. I have visited twice, and both times I felt the same way. When American or English-speaking patients arrived, she appeared much friendlier and more welcoming. But toward me, I was treated as if I were asking for free treatment, even though I am a legitimate patient with insurance coverage. No one should be made to feel inferior for using MediCaid or for not speaking fluent English. Respect should never depend on a patient’s insurance. I will seriously reconsider whether I continue my treatment at this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a walk in and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistant and dentist were very professional. The dentist explained the ex-ray and I scheduled for a tooth extraction tomorrow morning.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very helpful and was very satisfied with the Dentist. Great experience so for. Thanks

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences!

Experiencia fantástica: DOCTOR TRI TRAN IS THE GOAT!!!!!!! I was terrified of getting an extraction after my last experience 2-3 years ago, it was truly traumatizing. So I wanted to be sedated for my procedure but the waitlist was full until April-May. The tooth had me missing work so I needed it out ASAP. I was literally whimpering and crying but he kept telling me it was ok. He made sure I was completely numb before he started working it out. I swear barely felt anything during the actual extraction, no pressure or nothing. I wanted to thank him and hug him, hell I'll dance at his wedding if he not already married lol. But he's the only dentist I want from now on. Thank you a billion times Dr. Tran!

The staff and DrColburn are like my favorite dental staff, ever! The front desk is so friendly and helpful. I left to get back to work in 25 minutes!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Louisana Dental in Chalmette are great my first time there, Amani made me feel very comfortable and relax being I'm afraid of dentist. From the front desk to the doctor Tran everyone was very pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been terrible about getting to the dentist. Which is nobody’s fault but mine! Stupidity! Tough work schedule. Times when I was uninsured and scared of the cost. A bunch of dumb reasons. When I finally saw the error of my ways..I went to Louisiana Dental Center in Chalmette.
