Experiencia negativa: would not recommend for getting even a simple filling. I went back three times with no resolution. I went from being someone who had never had a bad dental experience & went in with zero tooth pain to not being able to chew on my right side. The dentist who did the filling convienently stopped working there after my second attempt to get to have them fix the issue then they had "scheduling issues" for a long period of time and didn't have a permanent dentist on site. The issue was never resolved and I had to source a more reliable dentist.

Experiencia negativa: I asked how much it cost for my dental cleaning, they checked my insurance said I have to pay $200, but after I done my cleaning, they told me my insurance would not cover, and they charged me another $641 on top of my $200, will never be back this office.

Two days prior to my appointment, they text saying that there won't be any doctors in the office on the day of my appointment, and that the next available appointment for an exam would be over a month out. That's one way to drive away your long-term patients.

Experiencia negativa: go literally anywhere else, this place will tell you they don’t have an opening for months and then they’ll remind you of your appointment relentlessly which is fine until you get to 2 hours before your appointment they will text to cancel said appointment. like i said go literally anywhere else these people don’t care about you only themselves.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an apptointment as a new client at the end of August for the end of October (earliest available). The Thursday prior to my Tuesday appointment I got a text saying they needed to reschedule as they had no Dr. in the office that week. When I called to reschedule, I was told there were no available appointments for 3 months. Best they could do was put me on a wait list in case of a cancellation. I cracked a tooth recently and three months is absolutely not doable, especially since I was not the one who caused the need to reschedule. I get that things come up, but this seems like poor scheduling on the part of the office.

Experiencia negativa: I would not even give one star if I had that option. My husband had a root canal and crown placed at Badger Hills. In the process of placing the crown the doctor broke the tooth next to the tooth they were working on. No offer to pay or fix the newly broken tooth. Four weeks after the placement of the crown my husband still had pain - so he returned to Badger Hills and was told the tooth/ gum just needed more time to heal. Now he is two months out from having the crown and still has pain and the permanent crown has now fallen off! For a procedure that cost well over a thousand dollars I expect the crown to be a permanent fix. Or tell the patient that the crown was not done correctly and correct the issue free of charge. Do not get treatment at Badger Hills.

Experiencia negativa: The two times I’ve gone here, I have found the staff to be very friendly. They do a great job of explaining and answer any questions you might have. Definitely recommend! Update: 7/7/25 - With seemingly everything else in today's society, things are only getting worse. I originally gave them 5 stars, but each time I have went in, service seems to have only gotten worse. Today was the final straw. Long story short...I had recently left my job and my Delta Dental, I figured was no longer active as of July 1 I called to check before my appointment and they said it was active but then said they would double check. I was put on hold for 10-11 minutes and they said, "yes, we are all good." This was confirmed from Greta, the office manager (whom I didn't know was in said position at the time). I come in, get my routine check up done and then my hygienist tells me when finishing up that Greta will be coming back to talk to me about "financials" which I assumed was about the cost of getting some enamel fixing. Well, out of "thin air" somehow she found out that Delta Dental was no longer covering me, but in a "pretend concern face" said she will only charge me $79, basically a discount. I knew I had been duped, but I didn't want to make a scene at the office, so when I got home I called and when I asked Greta to speak to the office manager, low and behold she said she was the office manager. I was so frustrated I hung up. I know, not professional. When I called back within 2 minutes, Great answered and then pretended she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. I guess fair? As the defenseless customer, I know nothing will probably be done, but she should be reprimanded by ownership for bold face lies. Check the call record. I'm assuming she was just BS'ing around with co-workers during those 10-11 minutes while I was on hold and never actually looked up the current state of insurance. I do know this place has had a lot of turnover and there was a previous insurance issue I had with them on something else. $79 isn't the end of the world, but I'm putting this out there as a warning for anyone thinking of using them. Not sure how some people can sleep at night pulling crap like this!

Experiencia negativa: If you need just basic dental cleaning they do ok. Yet, they will try to tell you that existing fillings need to be replaced even if they are not bothering you at all. This was done with me personally and my daughter. Also, marketed for Invisalign but did not specify they don't have a adolescent Dentist staffed. We previously had the consult 05/28/25 and when we came back 06/18/25 expecting the treatment plan and trays we were told "sorry, we can't do it" and there was no courtesy call other than the news coming on the appointment day. Turnover at this office is extremely high said to be because of poor leadership. Be cautious as you won't be able to build long-lasting relationships with this office.

Scheduling cancelled my appointment without telling me because I didn’t confirm the appointment. Confirming an appointment is optional… I took off work for this appointment so it’s very inconsiderate to just cancel an appointment. The staff seem to blame it on the dentists as well. Not sure if that’s true or not but very unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this dental office. I got off work because they texted me stating they had a cancelation and were looking for someone to clean. They promised me a cleaning, a coffee card, and free whitening trays for coming in to fill their opening, none of which they actually gifted me for accommodating their schedule. My appointment began 5 minutes late at 3:35 which wasn’t a big issue initially. However, the experience quickly went downhill. The front desk requested my old records from CareView so while the front staff called the other dental office, the technician proceeded to begin with a full set of new x-rays on me, 3D scans, and a head scan—this was great, they worked simultaneously, and my records request in no way delayed the care. But the tech took forever! The scans took over an hour and 10 minutes, which seemed excessive. Do we really need all of this to do a cleaning? The front desk received my records while I was still undergoing scans and told the tech, Careview had nothing they needed. By the time the tech was done doing all these scans, I was informed that they wouldn’t be doing my cleaning—the very reason I scheduled the appointment in the first place. It was 4:40pm It felt like they took a long time on unnecessary scans, and simply didn’t want to stay past 5 PM to complete the cleaning. Couldn't they had just done the annual X-ray and cleaning and the others later? No communication on what was necessary. I asked how long it does it take to do cleanings, and they said 1 hour. Then why was my appointment 1.5 hours? The tech then blamed me for not having the cleaning. Stating it because our exam started 5 minutes late, and they had to get other records (There was no delay, so I felt as if it was a personal attack). They then expected me to just come back at another time frankly, despite I had already got off work for this appointment, I didn’t feel that my time was respected. So, thank you for the scans—but this visit was a waste of time. If you can’t provide the services you schedule, don’t make the appointment. Customer service tip: if you schedule, finish the job.

Experiencia negativa: Last appointment, the compressor was broken and dentist was sick so they had to reschedule. This time X-ray machine is down and I can’t get X-rays. Then, I had to wait in the waiting room for my turn to pay for service. Not pleased with service right now.

Experiencia negativa: Made appointment on a Thursday for the following Monday at 3:45. Took 3 1/2 hours off work and drove an hour and 20 minutes to find their doors locked. Called and was first told the appointment was scheduled for noon Wednesday and we messed up. After arguing back and forth and telling them we would have never scheduled an appointment in the middle of the work day, all of a sudden they did find the appointment that had been scheduled for Monday at 3:45. They said the person who scheduled messed up and scheduled it during a training time. They said he made an attempt to call and move the appointment to noon on Wednesday, but he couldn't leave a message. We verified that voicemail was working and actually had 4 other voicemails for the time their scheduler said he tried to call. In speaking with the office manager, she said the situation was was out of there control, there was nothing they could have done about it, and there would be no discount or reimbursement for the 3 1/2 hours of missed work plus the hour and 20 minutes drive, but they would change the appointment to late afternoon on Wednesday. This was an error on their part that cost us over $450 between time away from my business plus the cost of the drive.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist and dental assistants are great but I have to give 2 stars because of Velvet, one of the scheduling staff. I called to reschedule an appointment that I realized was immediately after a college workshop I was supposed to go to. She told me she wouldn’t be able to reschedule me because of past missed appointments and that if I wanted a different appointment I’d have to be put on a short call list. I decided to keep the appointment and move my school meetings around. When I came in for my appt, they said I wasn’t on the a schedule. Velvet had apparently canceled my appointment without me asking for that. And because of the missed appts and that cancelation I now couldn’t be put on the schedule in advance at all and had to wait for same day cancellation calls. I tried to explain that I hadn’t asked for the appt to be cancelled at all, but they wouldn’t hear me and brushed me off. I really wish I could give a higher rating because until now everything has always gone really well at Badger Hills, but having one of the scheduling staff cancel my appt and then have me punished for it makes it so hard to see this dental practice in a good light anymore.

I would've preferred more time was taken when they sculpted the composite for a chipped tooth I had. Also the nurse kept plugging random oral health procedures that, upon investigating, would not benefit me. So the staff is knowledgeable but it definitely has the vibe of "we put you in. A compromising position then try to extort you i to paying for more services" business model which is super tacky. Don't go if you cave under pressure to buy very expensive things you don't absolutely need. Follow up I've been reading other reviews and the business' replies are completely lying about being able to respond to these reviews due to patient specific experiences. They are completely able to follow up on these reviews and are intentionally lying to the public to not address what seems to be many flaws.
