I had a thorough exam with X-rays, cleaning and a visit with my dentist. This was all done in 35 minutes. I was impressed. If you have to go to the dentist, this place is awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: On a Saturday, when I had a dental emergency (lost a crown and my tooth was exposed, painful and raw) the staff was able to get back in touch with me via an actual phone call. An appointment was made for Monday and I was able to get everything fixed up. Mentioned this attention to care to my dad, that the Dentist called me personally to help set up the appointment, he was amazed, dad is 80+ and wish he had a dentist that took that much interest in his dental care. Experiencia fantástica: In the past, I havee had anxiety seeing the dentist and I can tell you that this was by far the best dental experience I've had. Had a crown done and it was all done in a single visit. They 3d modeled my crown instead of having to have a mold made. Was the best ever! Front office and the assistants were the most positive too. I'm sold on them! Went again and they did this great new technology called Curodont is an FDA-approved, non-invasive dental treatment that uses a patented peptide-based technology to promote the natural remineralization and regeneration of tooth enamel in early-stage decay (white spot lesions). The treatment is a pain-free, drill-free alternative to traditional fillings, working by attracting calcium and phosphate ions from saliva to rebuild the enamel structure. Rochester Dental Clinic rocks!

Experiencia fantástica: Love Rochester Dental Clinic. I have been getting my dental care there since 1983 or 1984 when I saw Dr. Smith. I have been seeing Dr. Merfeld since Dr. Smith retired. I am very happy with Dr. Merfeld and my hygienist Chiara. They are great!

Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional. They don’t respond to emails for months at a time (I’m still to this day awaiting a response to an email sent in mid-February). On their website, they advertise an Invisalign payment plan (screenshot below), but in reality they expect you to pay full price up front and do not offer this payment plan in their practice. Edited to respond to owner: I’m legitimately baffled by this business. You responded to my Google review almost immediately but you still TO THIS DAY have not responded to my emails. If you call a customer and they email you back, it shouldn’t be hard to deduce that email the preferred method of communication.

Dr Matt is so great at what he does, and all of the dental assistants are welcoming, calming, great humans, and I’m always learning something new about how and why to take care of my teeth differently. They’re a great team and I’d recommend them to anyone living in Rochester! Can’t forget the front desk ladies—always a joy, so helpful, and you can tell they have a great work environment. I hadn’t been to the dentist in about three years (life gets busy!), and I was honestly a little nervous and embarrassed knowing I probably had some cavities and work that needed to be done. From the very first visit, Dr. Erich made me feel completely comfortable — never judged, just cared for. He’s incredibly personable and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right and that I’m always comfortable. He takes the time to explain everything he’s doing, checks in often to see if I have questions, and always keeps such a positive attitude. He even remembers little things I’ve mentioned from past appointments, which really shows how much he cares about his patients. I also have to mention Kayla and Holly — they are amazing! They always greet me with the warmest energy, make me feel so welcomed, and truly add to the positive atmosphere every time I’m there. Going to the dentist used to be something I dreaded, but Dr. Erich, Kayla, and Holly have completely changed that for me. I’m so thankful to have found such a kind, professional, and caring team. Experiencia fantástica: This is a dental practice where I feel valued. As soon as I open the door, I am greeted and feel welcome. From top down the men and women who work there are at the top of their game. Dr. Tate always lets me know the things that are working as well as the things I need to work on. This is a full service practice so cleanings, cavities and crowns can be taken care of, services that not every dentist practice offers. This is not the only dentist office that I have tried since moving to Rochester in 1998, but it is by far the best investment for my oral hygiene. Go check them out on the west frontage road of highway 52 and 55th street.

I woke up to find that it hardly hurts, little to no puffy face, and that I’m graced with a truly great same day as appointment recovery experience. I was anxious it’d be painful and something could go wrong but when I woke up I was told everything went perfectly and that all that was left was to rest. Happy to have such trustworthy care.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a lot of tooth pain over a weekend and Dr. Matt kept in touch with good advice on pain management and got me in right away on Monday. Took X-rays to rule out abscess. Flushed out area of discomfort and told me to Get a $20 waterpik to keep the area clean so not to accumulate bacteria. It’s a tooth that is crowned but does have a crack underneath. Saved me a tooth extraction and implant.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to RDC for my wisdom tooth surgery. I had a complicated case (one of them only partially erupted, another erupted sideways, and I had an infected & fractured tooth). They handled my infected tooth and my wisdom teeth all in one. It felt like 5 minutes. Literslly 5 minutes. I remember looking up and going, "That's it?". No one wants to go to the dentist, and I didnt either-- but seriously, these people will make you feel so comfortable and safe. The nurses are all sweethearts. They will give you a blanket and pillow if you want. I also had other complications due to having thin veins and they handled that very gently and gracefully. I spent more time stressing about the appointment than I spent in the actual appointment. They also offer financing options and Dr. Matt did his best to do the procedure in a way that helped the bill lower (the actual bill was lower than the initial estimate by like 2k).
