The person on the phone asked for some of my personal information, and I explained that I am not the individual they were looking for. I provided the correct phone number for the person they may have been trying to reach. However, the staff member abruptly said “thank you very much” and hung up before I could finish speaking. I found this interaction to be very rude and unprofessional. I do not know who may have used my phone number in connection with your office, but I would appreciate it if my number is removed from your records to prevent further calls. I also wanted to bring this interaction to your attention, as it did not reflect good customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff went above and beyond to help me I am handicapped and they help me in and out of the chairs and the doctor gave me enough numbing agent to help me until I got to the pharmacy the front desk accommodated me with the letter I needed for In-Home Support Services I would say they all went above and beyond and their compassion is above board I would definitely come back I have no bad things to say about these people they are awesome and work hard and like I said they're compassion just as astounding.

Experiencia negativa: That was the worst most traumatizing experience I've ever had in my life talk about rude and unprofessional the dentist or surgeon or whatever Tina was so out of line she didn't give me enough medication to keep me sedated through the whole procedure I woke up in the middle of it screaming because I was in pain and then she continuously is saying you're a liar you're a liar calling me a liar saying that I didn't disclose on my info that I had cirrhosis of the liver and that I'm in recovery from drugs I did put that on my put that info tho then she told me stop screaming but I was IN PAIN she didn't even finish stitching up my mouth I asked what her name was and she said I already told you then I asked the assistants her name they laughed at me mind u I'm so freaked out and in pain crying hysterical I just wanted out of there at that point they didn't give me any instructions on anything they gave me some ultram and antibiotics my gums are so chopped up

The office manager, Gabriela I believe is her name, answered questions with expertise. I honestly could not believe the negative reviews left here for Fairfield Oral Surgery, I believe it's a tactic to drive business away. Patients also have a responsibility to exercise due diligence when receiving professional medical care, and rudeness does not exempt them from this responsibility. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting oral surgery done here, I'd even bring my 90 year old grandma =]. Do not pass up on a great place like this for your oral care needs!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled here years ago, one of which had a root curled under the nerve and was very tricky to break and could’ve led to nerve damage but the Dr. was great and I recovered quickly. My wife also had hers removed within the last few months and the staff is incredible here. Gabriella I believe is the Office manager and she was so nice, on top of everything, very professional. The rest of the office seemed like they liked working there and were nice and did a good job. The surgeon was excellent and really knows her work. Skill full and professional. I recommend this location for your surgery/specialty needs.

Experiencia negativa: I went to this horrible place for extractions. I was told when referred and right before the procedure that I wouldn't feel anything until done and healing. That was a lie. I was fully aware of the pain they were causing and apparently wasn't polite to the Dr. who informed me "she was done being nice". It was the worst medical experience of my life and instead of apologizing the Dr was arrogant and rude. I plan to take action and make her licensing board aware of her conduct. I told them to stop during the procedure which they ignored. At that point it was a battery on my person. I'm done being nice in her words. I have since learned the absent exigent circumstances, pulling eight teeth at one time without medical necessity could be considered an abuse. Had the doctor not been so arrogant and rude my approach to this might be wholly different. After reading others reviews, all of the one star reviews were consistent with my experience. Learning they were giving gift cards out, I would be very wary about believing too much positive about this place. It was so awful that im having trouble allowing future dental work to be performed on my mouth. I trusted these people to have compassion, skill, and concern and would up traumatized by the procedure and personal treatment.

Experiencia negativa: EDITED AFTER APPT...TURN & RUN! . THEY GOT HIM RIGHT OUT TOO! THEY TOOK HIM IN FOR XRAYS, NEVER CAME BACK TO GET ME AFTER SAYING THEY WOULD. HE'D CALLED ME(buttdial), I HEARD HIM TALKING, 20 MIN LATER HE CAME OUT TRAUMATIZED! SHE PULLED 7 TEETH AND STICHED HIS GUMS UP...20 MINUTES! She didnt even introduce herself just came in, ripped out his teeth then sent him packing with a couple pieces of gauze, hand sanitizer and a kids grape juice that he couldn't drink. Only thing I can say good was at least he had pain pills waiting at the pharmacy AFTER our 3 hour drive home which is better than some others I've read. I can only hope others read this BEFORE they go unlike we did & read while my husband was already in back.(Original review just to get the free coffee)...Very nice staff, clean office and easy to find. They got my husband in right away too, we had to travel so it was nice not waiting a long time when we got there.

I got their response about contacting them so “they can make it right” and I just called them to give grace and try to schedule another appointment. They put me on hold and the girl came back online and said “there was an incident the last time you were here and we won’t be seeing you” I mentioned the response to my review and she said “with that language we won’t be seeing you” I was shocked I said what? What language? She said “I won’t be repeating it” I said you’re trying to make it seem to someone I’m cursing at you or something … SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and asked to speak to the manger a girl with an heavy accent said her name was Mariella said she was a manager and told me that they won’t be seeing me because I wasn’t happy with there services.!! Although I got NO services and they responded to my initial review saying “let us make it right”! At no time was I rude or cursing or disrespectful or anything other than calm. I told her I said quite on the other hand your staff has been overly rude to me and the hundreds of reviews online. She said this is being recorded… I told her perfect! This will go to the dental board then! DONT FUND THIS BUSINESS. YOUR IMBOLDING THE RUDE TREATMENT OF MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES ON MEDI-CAL BY SURGEON AND STAFF. REPORT ALL BAD REVIEWS OR EXPERIENCES TO THE DENTAL BOARD. Initial review: Absolutely horrible and humiliating experience they don’t deserve and one star! I came over 4 hours, took a day off of work for a consultation only a consult. I have a dermal piercing in my lip, my nose pierced, earring etc I am able to get all piercings out except dermal in my lip. They literally refused to see me, refused to let me talk to the doctor saying “she’s in surgery and hops from each one to the next” I said I can wait so I can have a few minute conversation and was told I couldn’t talk to the doctor. Mind you they have my X-rays from my dentist who understood that it is a dermal implant that doesn’t come out. Also they’re pulling all the teeth how could any interference really matter when you’re taking the teeth out and you have my X-rays I just took with my dentist. The staff was so rude and made it seem as if I just didn’t want to take a piercing out!! They made it seem like I’m lying about it not being removable. I even said to the lady why am I getting so much hostility from you, can I speak with the doctor she said “room 2” just like that. Meaning go wait in room 2 while she talked to the doctor but refused to allow me to. All the staff was super short and very rude. This seems like an ongoing issue by all the other reviews. The fact the supervisors or owners don’t fix it is insulting. If you don’t allow piercings you need to tell people on the phone just like you tell them bring your id, insurance card and referrals you need to tell them to tell them to remove any facial piercings especially considering how common they are. I wasted a day of pay and an 8 hour trip. They have zero empathy and care for there patients I won’t be coming back here for the work I was planned to get done I will be waiting to go to another surgeon. No money will be funding they’re disrespectful and non caring business

The actual surgeon, herself is one of the rudest people I’ve met. Seems bothered and acts like she doesn’t have a spare minute for you or anyone else. The assistants literally walking on egg shells around her, talking about it when she leaves. The assistants are amazing by the way! It’s the actual doc that has something stuck up her. She was rough and unkind for just a simple question without even really giving an answer! Now that the face to face is spoken about! when I got out my bottom holes were ripped so bad and massive. Not to mention it’s been 11 days the holes still aren’t closed and in extreme pain. Ohhhh also shot my nerves to no end, my entire tongue lip chin, cheeks and jaw are still no feeling and or taste. I’ve spoken to everyone I know that has done this surgery and not one has gone through what I’m going through! This women needs an undercover evaluation 100%

Experiencia negativa: i had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and i would never ever recommend this place. i had one lady who was a darker skinned woman and she was so sweet and made some small talk with me, i had no issues with her. i got taken back to my room and she helped hook me up to all the machines. she said “we’re just gonna wait a few min for the doctor and we’ll come in and start. i laid there for abt 25 mins. i looked over at the computer for the time and it said 8:19 a.m. not long after they came in and started moving things around barely said a word to me and getting started, she put the anesthesia in my iv and then i was out. I CAME OUT OF MY APPOINTMENT BEFORE 9! I was having a hard time waking up from the sedation and they were telling me “open your eyes” over and over and when i was struggling to keep them open they started tapping my smacking my forehead with their finger tips. my throat HURTS i can barely swallow. it is bruised and hurting so bad. my lip is cut open on the side and has a chunk missing from it.

My dad couldn’t hear when she said her name because she had a mask on and was so short and impolite because she had to repeat it. She didn’t give my dad any time to ask questions. Barely went over his medical info he filled out. When he did try to start asking questions she was one foot out the door and therefor had everyone in close proximity able to hear his personal medical info because she couldn’t follow standard operating procedure when with a patient and shut the door. My dad then asked how long would he have to eat soft foods she replied with a strong tone of judgement “you can eat whatever you want and are eating now you don’t have any teeth anyways”. She made my dad feel immensely unwelcome. This is just a mild summary of our visit. I have never come across a medical professional THIS unprofessional. I would never suggest anyone visit this clinic. I will not be letting her operate on my father. Her behavior was unacceptable and disgusting. Not to mention we drove 1.5 hours.

I was already nervous about going and it even asks on the questionnaire how you feel about going to the dentist why ask if you don't care about your patients? The dentist treats everyone like its a pit stop. Doesn't come in to explain nothing like her nurses tell you. She comes into the room more like a cubicle where everyone can hear your business and told me if I can handle the shots ill be fine. I had 19 teeth that needed to be extracted. I was expecting to be put to sleep but was told if I wanted that I would have to wait another 3 weeks for my insurance to accept it. Why isn't that done beforehand? Like when you go to ur doctor for an outpatient surgery they have all that ready to go. I live 5 hours away so that is very inconvenient. While getting poked several times because I had a hard time numbing and staying numb the dr. Rachet took my nose squeezing hard while moving back and forth saying she was was doing that because the shot in the upper lip hurts and it does but pulling and shaking the upper lip works and it doesn't hurt. The nose pinching and shaking does not I found her to be abusive and dismissive. When my procedure was done she told the nurses to wash out my mouth took off her gloves and walked out.

Experiencia negativa: Do not come here ! The staff here is very rude and very disrespectful. They were no help with us at all. We drove two hours for an appointment that we couldn’t even go to. Before we came we were told to bring our identification card (ID), our referral for getting our wisdom teeth pulled, and our medical card. Which we brought all of these, but once we got there they told us they needed another type of card which I don’t remember exactly what the card was. Then they proceeded to tell us that we could call our personal dentist and just get the numbers from the card or a picture. So therefore we did that, but once we did we walked up to the counter and told them. They then told us that we would need to bring the card in with us if we wanted to be seen. They never once told us to bring that card or anything extra we brought what they told us too and did what they told us too. Inside the waiting room on the clear screen they have on the desk there is a sign saying you only need those 3 things we brought. Nothing extra. The 2 hours we were there multiple people came in with the exact same problem or something slightly different so we knew it wasn’t just us. They will also try to give you a website to go to to help with trying to figure it out and this website DOES NOT WORK! So please do not go here or make sure you bring your whole life/every card with you. Be very careful coming here or you may waste 6 hours of your day !!!

Every step of the process leading up to surgery then after were all very thorough and well explained. The staff behind the desk were immediately welcoming and helpful, I had the pleasure of being taken through the financial process of the extraction explained to me and processed by Ms Gabriela. She really knows her stuff and that really cuts out a huge load of stress out of the whole process. My surgeon and her techs were thorough in explaining everything they were doing and it was as if I took a 5 minute nap and all4 wisdom teeth were extracted. My husband said it was about 45 minutes. Everything about post op was explained to my husband and before the surgery and reminded after. Very helpful. I have daily questions and the staff is very patient and helpful. I’ll be bringing my kids here once their wisdom teeth are grown in. Definitely trust and recommend this establishment.

Finally I decide to show up in person- they don't do "single tooth extractions." A complete waste of time and money. I will be filling a complaint.

Experiencia negativa: Had all four wisdom teeth taken out. When I got there they would not let me stay and wait in the waiting room. I was told to wait in the car until someone yelled my name out a door to come inside. Like a fast food order. The nurse poked me several times with the needle and couldn't figure out how to get the IV in. I waited in the chair for 45 min until the dentist came in. No hello or how are you doing. She just looked visibly angry at me for some reason. Maybe because I was still awake. The dentist had to put the IV in. When I woke up I was being shoved into my dad's car. Nobody said anything to me which was weird. I was in horrible pain. They sent my prescription to amy pharmacy that is a three hour drive away. In there paperwork they had me sign it says they are to give me pain meds before the surgery so I'm not in much pain afterwords. They did not do that. I suffered for a three hour drive in horrible pain until I reached the pharmacy to find out they called the wrong pharmacy. I drive to the other pharmacy to find out they won't have my prescription filled for another day. When I finally got my pills I found out I had enough pain pills for two days. Now a week later in still in bad pain. Cand eat solid food. Antibiotics and pain pills gone. When the swelling went down enough to look inside I still have bigs holes in my mouth. Like big enough to put a roll of quarters in. I called the clinic that did my teeth and they said this is all normal. now I'm having to go to another dentist to double check there work and hopefully get my pain under control. I know most people go there because that's the only place that will take there insurance. But that's no reason to treat people like that

Experiencia fantástica: The women who work there are great and made me feel comfortable, I had lost my son my girlfriend and my cousin in a month and I've been an emotional wreck and my girlfriends song came on the radio which had me crying and they gave me time to get myself together and the doctor she comes in and gets bust I have really long riots and the shot they give you in the roof of your mouth is painful no matter what you do, it was quick and thorou I would recommend them not a bad experience at all thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Been over a year trying to get in, lost track of my referral last time I was there, and canceled my appointment with me in the lobby, just scheduled me again, four months out for an emergency consultation on wisdom teeth that are rotting out of my jaw, sideways and sharp enough I have actual scar tissue surrounding them. Experiencia negativa: Absolutely Horrifying Experience – Stay Away! If I could give zero stars, I would. My mom went in for what was supposed to be a routine oral surgery, and came out completely traumatized. She was visibly shaking, crying, and absolutely terrified — like she had just been through something deeply disturbing. During the surgery, her shoes somehow came off — yes, both shoes flew off her feet — and she later told me that she wasn’t fully under anesthesia. She could hear the surgeon yelling at her during the procedure. According to her, it felt like she was caught in a tornado. Her head was being whipped around aggressively, and she described intense pain and fear the entire time. When we got home, we found bruising on the back of her neck, and she couldn’t even recall how that happened. To make matters worse, we were told the prescription would be sent right away to a Rite Aid in Fairfield (instead of our hometown Redding location) because “it would be faster.” But guess what? It took TWO HOURS just for the surgeon’s office to even send it over. My mom was in severe pain and we were stuck waiting and waiting with nothing we could do. In the meantime, I called the oral surgeon’s office to ask if something unusual happened during the surgery. The woman at the front desk told me she hadn’t heard anything, but someone would call me back. That call never came. This whole experience was completely unacceptable. No patient should ever leave surgery in such a state of distress — mentally or physically. The lack of communication, care, and professionalism was astonishing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: I have never been treated so horribly by a dentist in my life !!! I was expecting to be put under seeing as I needed 4 teeth removed or extracted and they pretty much ignored me and said no we’re not putting you out but I could find out how much the laughing gas cost .

Experiencia negativa: First of all, I will say originally when I first went to this Office, we had an issue regarding my referral. The office called me to schedule an appointment saying they had a referral for me. So my understanding was they had already received the referral. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get there and they tried to tell me they couldn’t see me because they didn’t have a referral. I quickly got on the phone with my dentist and had my dentist resend the referral. They tried to tell me that they were not going to be able to see me because it was a past 15 minutes of my appointment. So they rescheduled my appointment for later in the afternoon so I had to stay in town for an extra 3 hours to be seen. On surgery day when I got there, everyone was very nice. The staff was very comforting. However, the doctor is very dry. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist office, which they were all aware of. I had three teeth removed a week ago on Friday. When I got home 3 1/2 hours later, my medication’s were not filled because I live out of town. They finally did pick up the emergency number to fill the medication. A few days later, I ended up with dry socket. I went to the emergency room. The emergency room gave me a shot and told me I needed to go back to my dentist. I called their office and explained everything to them. I drove another 3 1/2 hours to get there today for the doctor to walk in the room rip open my mouth and say everything was fine. She did not give me a chance to say anything before she was already walking out of the room. I said everything is not fine. I cannot eat, nor sleep. There is so much pain and the hospital already told me I had dry socket & and infection and I needed to go back to my dentist because they are not dentists. That the dentist would have to examine further and see what needed to be done. As this is the procedure that she completed. She did not let me get two words out before she was walking out of the door. So I was sent back home another 3 1/2 hours with no relief. She told me to go back to the hospital. I will be filing a complaint. My daughter had to miss work to drive me all the way down there because I can barely open my eyes. This is money and time that I did not have to spend. For two seconds of a doctor, not to listen to what is going on and address the issue. Sadly, I had already referred three other people there that needed oral surgery. Because I was so pleased with the procedure and the nurses. When they put me to sleep, I felt safe and comfortable. The procedure seemed like it didn’t take too long, and the aftercare was very nice at first. Extremely disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I went yesterday for what I thought was just a consultation. My fiance and I live in Weaverville and we brought our two toddlers with us. We get there, I did all the paperwork and then they made us stand outside in the heat with our kids. They were so gun hoe about doing the surgery and didn't explain anything to me. But, I explained to them that I as told that it was just a consultation and not surgery. The staff was rude and so was the dentist. They need to do better with the communication aspect. If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. They were so dismissive and didn't care. When I told the doctor when she came in that I couldn't do th surgery she got mad at me and walked out. Extremely rude and I won't be recommending this place to my family or friends

Experiencia fantástica: My name's Kevin Sardeson, this place was great, the nurses were sweet, Jazmine and may deserve a raise and a promotion. I had 9 teeth pulled, it's the next day now and I feel like a million bucks I don't think I even need the pain meds they gave me. The doc was a little "cut n dry" but I get that it's probably disappointing to see people neglect their oral health to the point that I did. I was able to keep all the teeth I need for a good smile and I plan on taking care of them to my best ability. I told them about my PTSD and anxiety/trust issues and they didn't make me feel any less because of it and for that I am thankful.

Experiencia fantástica: My wisdom teeth removal took 35 mins from anesthesia-> Removal .The women who worked on me did a great job and trusted I was in good hands . My recovery is going great.
