Experiencia fantástica: I had a wisdom extraction today. I’d never been sedated before and was very nervous. The staff was really friendly and allowed me my music to ease my anxiety and made sure the procedure was quick and painless. I’ll be back to this location should I ever need any other dental procedures.

This homegrown surgeon is truly, the total package! Even his staff reflect this with their excellent, welcoming assistance all around. The office is spotless, easy to locate and park in. We for the referral for here and we had an appointment set for today (Oct. 27th, 2025). I asked if they were able to get the teeth pulled before our insurance expires (4 days from now) and not only did they get my daughter in today , but are doing the procedure now. This is the easiest dental experience I've ever had. They staff go above and beyond. They are extremely friendly and professional. I am so grateful to Kentuckiana Oral. You saved me so much money and were able to relieve my daughter's pain at the same time. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You do not know how much this means to my family and I. Experiencia fantástica: What can I say about Dr Walters except he’s fantastic. Had some major dental surgery done felt very little to no pain during and afterwards he kept me very comfortable. There was three other girls in the office. I don’t know their names but they were phenomenal. It wad pouring rain that day and Dr Walters took the umbrella and me in a wheelchair and took me to the car personally and helped me get in the car. What better service can you ask for? He’s kind, gentle, professional, and all-around great doctor and person I would recommend him to anyone that needed dental work done.

Experiencia fantástica: Surgeon was fully competent! He did his job right! This was a first for me with this oral surgery entity and this specific surgeon. I have the unfortunate experience of dreadful teeth extraction. I fully expected to need more antibiotics and more pain medication. My surgeon disagreed with my plans on how to best care for the bone after extraction. Since he’s the doc, I had no choice but to go with his plan. And he was right. I needed no additional antibiotics and no additional pain medication. So - go for it, it’s a good place!

Dr. Mills was informative and cautious, and I’m so grateful. He could’ve pressed forward with the surgery but chose the safety of my child over a dollar. The tech kept my mouth suctioned so there was no feeling like I could not breath. He told me it was going to take surgery but when he started drilling there was no pain, just pressure. They gave me great info on follow up. Told me to call if I had any concerns. Offered me pain meds and an antibiotic. It was a comforting place to have teeth worked on. Thanks

I was told that I needed to have a 3D scan done and he told me that I didn't need to have one . He did a X-ray that you had to stand up for and it showed what was wrong with my tooth. Experiencia fantástica: I had what I feel was a fairly intense procedure performed in order to facilitate replacing a defective permanent bridge with 2 implants that will serve as a foundation for a replacement new permanent bridge. This involved adding bone grafting material to my upper jaw as well as installing the hardware for the bridge foundation. All aspects of the procedure were well explained to me in advance. So I knew it wasn’t going to be a simple process. Everything proceeded exactly as described with no surprises to be had. All efforts by the staff in attendance were well performed. I just finished my first follow up visit & all looks like it’s healing as hoped & planned. The entire staff at this dental practice were very professional, polite & eager to assist & make me comfortable through the entire process. I would not hesitate to use their expertise in the future if needed. They have done a great job, so far. I am very pleased with their professionalism provided to me in this process. I would recommend their services to my family & friends if they were in need of their services offered.

The dental technician a young lady who was very polite professional & easy to talk to & REALLY listen. she calmed my anxiety & patiently did the procedures, explaining process well & present in checking that I was comfortable & not having ANY pain. Most importantly I had a list of questions for the doctor but she was so knowledgeable & was . . Thudable to clearly explain procedures & ANSWERED majority of my questions & Importantly maked sure that I understood the answers & thus saved me consultation with DR. Allen. I never felt rushed & aware of my physical limitations. SHE WAS WONDERFUL , as a physician I know how important it is for patients understanding, which provides comfort & a better outcome with less complications. Even though my primary residence is in Florida, I consider myself fortunate to have had the surgery in Louisville with Dr. Allen instead of trying to find an equally competent oral surgeon in Florida. My only recommendation was for a staff member to help the caregiver get the patient to the car. My mom was hoping one of the staff would have been there to assist her in getting me situated in the car. I was not yet steady on my feet!

I had several teeth pull along with all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Took about 1 hr to do the procedure. My appointment was at 8:30 am this morning (11-11-24). I had to be put to sleep to do the surgery and I was at home walking around and talking (the best of my abilities) by 10:30am. I am still numb so I may have some pain as it wears off. Bleeding stopped before I got home. If you have to have oral surgery, this is where you should go. Thanks Dr. Allen

Experiencia positiva: I was required to pay $400 to make my appointment which I was fine with but then I also paid $300 before the date of my service to show good faith. When I arrived I told the receptionist that I didn’t feel comfortable paying $1686 before the service was successful. She then started to be rude and argumentative. She shared that I would be sedated and could not make a payment afterwards. Which I understood, but I gave my payments to the person driving me as he could have paid it for me after the procedure. Everyone else was amazing except for her. The issue was more of how she was speaking to me when I shared that this was a new process to me.

If you get covid or any sicknesses & cannot make it to the appointment & you didn't confirm or cancel cause you weren't aware that you had to (no signs or warnings of that nature), you'll be dropped as a client immediately, no questions asked. So, make sure you don't change your number or anything cause god forbid. Rather someone else get paid anyways Reasons I didn't confirm was because I had covid & did not come out of quarantine till the day before my appointment and was waiting to see if I'd be able to make it so I canceled it the morning of because I was still having symptoms. Receptionist was very rude about it. During the appointment of my consultation was unprofessional and kept coming in and out to grab things for another room, etc.

Experiencia negativa: It was the first time, I have been in the upstairs office and I only asked how long the surgery would take and the nurse would not tell me. I had to raise my voice in order to get an answer. It makes me wonder if these reviews are just for the downstairs office or fake . No need to say I will not be coming back. Another note as the doctor was giving out instructions I was listening to him, when he gave me a look and said "do you understand me" in a rude way. Which made me feel like they are not just rude too but raises. I do want to add that not everyone was rude or mean.
