I brought her in for an initial diagnosis and then a return visit that included cleaning, some teeth filing, and some teeth extractions. Veterinary Dental Center is a first-class, professional operation: - Easy parking - Pleasant waiting room. Lots of space. Receptionists offers beverages - Minimal-to-no waiting time - Appointment reminders - They provided very detailed instructions before and after the procedure - Dr. Hassan, who first saw Zoe, took his time evaluating her and discussing her condition with me. He also responded quickly and thoroughly to my email follow-up questions - Records and invoices are emailed promptly - Christie, the technician who received my cat and delivered her to me post-procedure, was also friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She listened well and was very helpful - I received a call letting me know when the procedure was finished. They also called me the next day to check on my pet - It's been one day since the procedure, and my cat is in good spirits, eating, and running around the condo. So far, so good - I observed the other customers and their interactions with the staff. You can tell that everyone is very caring

They made sure his pain was taken care of during surgery, and days after. I feel blessed that Dr Juriga, and his team are so skilled at Veternarian dentistry.

They made sure to take all precautions since my Chihuahua has a heart murmur and is 16 years old. From the beginning, the team was transparent about what was going on and what to expect. They took the time to explain the situation clearly without making it overwhelming, which meant a lot during a stressful decision. What stood out most was their willingness to work with me on costs and keep things as reasonable as possible without compromising care. That kind of honesty and consideration is rare. My dog ended up needing more extensive dental work than expected, and the procedure went smoothly. The aftercare instructions were clear, and recovery has been exactly what they prepared me for. Experiencia fantástica: I have a 23 year old cat, who has dealt with a combination of hyperthyroidism, remission from diabetes needing insulin, and GI issues. I knew she needed a teeth cleaning and some extractions - I could tell she was in pain. There are only 5 dental specialists in the state of IL (to my understanding). 3 of them were in this office. When I tell you that I received a 10/10 experience, from the call to book the appointment all the way to the follow up call after the procedure. My cat ended up having multiple extractions, and I was incredibly nervous about having to put her under because of her age and other health issues. But Dr. Laura and Nurse Melissa were absolutely fabulous and giving me the information I needed, answering all of my questions, and making me feel comfortable. We are now a little over a week post op, and my cat is already acting different, to let me know that she's not in pain anymore. The facilities are very nice, spacious and if you need to wait around during your procedure, its near restaurants + shopping. 10/10. Thank you so much Veterinary Dental Center for taking care of my baby....and me!

My primary vet informed me that my cat needed to have the teeth operated and In removed due to the infection and degradation of her gums that was present. Veterinary Dental Center had the most caring, thoughtful and loving people you could want. They kept you informed at every stage during the procedures dating up to the actual collaboration. They were gracious and accommodating to whatever needs the patient seem to have. I am so pleased with the results of the surgery performed at Veterinary Dental Centers in Aurora and I would tell anyone needing Dental Care to go and call them.

I have a frenchie and they have protocols for the flat faced breeds who are prone to breathing issues under anestesia. Highly recommend this practice. I drove from downtown Chicago and it was totally worth the effort.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my dog in December & knew she needed her teeth cleaned & examined. She has a major cleft palate so I needed more than my hometown vet to do the procedure. It was a wonderful experience! The vets, techs, and receptionist were all so kind and caring. Vets explained the process, made recommendations for the cleft palate, extracted teeth that were bad & made sure Speedy's recovery was pain free. She's eating better and gaining some much needed weight. Would highly recommend coming here!

I brought my dog in for his dental procedure because he has chronic kidney disease and I was really worried about him going under anesthesia. I had my consultation with Dr. Kling, and she made me feel so comfortable. The technician, Fernando, also made me feel very at ease, and I was confident in moving forward with my dog’s procedure. Dr. Juriga performed the dental, and he did such a fantastic job with my baby. He assured me that in a couple weeks he’ll be like a puppy again, and he was absolutely right. Two weeks later, he is bouncing around, full of energy, and eating like a champ. I cannot express the gratitude I feel for the doctors and staff for the excellent care they provided for my sweet boy. Experiencia fantástica: Where do I start? The minute you arrive, the grounds are peaceful and welcoming! When you walk inside, you think you are back home in your family room. Set up with home-like furniture; a couch, easy-chairs, a television, dog beds and pillows throughout, it is a very comfortable environment. With a warm smile, the receptionist greets you and your pet equally. They talk to the pets often - It is clear that everyone at VDC loves animals. From the first consultation to the actual procedure, everything went very well. Everything was explained to us in detail. They are patient if you have questions and understand your concerns, especially for us nervous dog moms! The entire staff, (too many to list them all) from the receptionists with the first phone call, to the vet technicians, to Dr Juriga and his entire team, everyone is amazing – they are caring, friendly and very professional. My precious Beagle, Penny needed special care for her procedure as she has had trouble with a ruptured disc in her neck area, and the entire medical staff was very compassionate and understanding and made sure to be very careful handling her - not just during the procedure, but the entire time she was in their care! They also called the next morning to check on Penny to see how she was doing or if I had any questions. Dr Juriga came highly recommended from Penny’s neurologist and her Internal Medicine Specialist, and I’m glad they did. I will never go anywhere else for Penny’s dental needs! Such wonderful people – ALL OF THEM! THANK YOU!

I understood that they charge for how much time my dog was under anesthesia but it is very expensive to have a dogs teeth cleaned. I'd bet the price is what keeps people from having their teeth cleaned as often as they should. I really do like everything about VDC but my appoinment them was a sticker shock

Dr. Juriga and his team went above and beyond to ensure my baby was safe and protected throughout his entire procedure. Thanks to this beautiful hospital, my precious companion is thriving more in his advanced age, and I can worry less about the progression of his CKD in correlation with periodontal disease. I know that because Karl was so well taken care of, I will have many happy, healthy years ahead with him. It cannot be understated how grateful I am. Our 10 year old mini poodle had already had 2 surgeries for tooth extractions in 2025 and was still experiencing pain. From the first evaluation appointment to the surgery itself we felt extremely well cared for by Dr. Hassan, Dr. Juriga and all of the staff at VDC. They were able to take special x-rays that most regular vets don't have the technology for and showed us that there were 3 other teeth that needed to be extracted. VDC is top notch and we will be taking him back for future cleanings and other dental needs. Totally worth the 1 hour drive. Lio is recovering well from his surgery and already seems happier and less aggressive. Thank you VDC!!

I was impressed with how thorough the doctor was with explaining the extraction process at the consultation and the high level of care our little girl received during/after the procedure was finished. Experiencia fantástica: The most amazing experience! I'm a CVT so I work with animals for a living. This was the most comfortable and amazing place for me. I was anxious.... none of my pets have ever been sedated without me in the room. Dr. Juriga spent all the time needed to talk with me about my kiddo and what he was going to need to have done. He knew what I did for a living but was still very careful to explain everything and be sure I understood it. My dogs case was a less common situation so at pick up Dr. Juriga again spoke with me about everything they found and what I should do in the future. Yes, or cost me a good amount however it was a fair price on my opinion for all the things he needed done. They took the best care of my potato fox and the incisions were almost not even noticeable. He wanted to eat his normal food right away (which tells me not much pain) but this was not allowed. Today he's doing amazing. I had looked at other doggie dentists and had been disappointed in different things. Dr. Juriga came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Dr. Juriga was 110% worth every penny and the drive to get to them! If you're pet needs dental work this is the place!

Kylo needed a tooth extraction, they were able to help keep her calm and comfortable. After getting Kylo home she was back to normal the next morning. They quickly, kindly and efficiently got us in for an exam and 3D scans so we could see what we needed to do for her. They performed surgery for her jaw, teeth, roots, nasal cavity so she could continue to heal. From the receptionist who took our call, to the office staff and vet techs the day of the exam and surgery and Dr. Sasser and her team, they were AUSSOME and exactly what sweet Betsie needed to be able to live a long healthy life! Experiencia negativa: I am writing to formally address the lack of care and competence demonstrated by your veterinary dental specialists in the treatment of my dog and the impact this had on our family. In September 2025, I brought our 16-year-old rescued Chihuahua, Tico, to your office for a dental consultation. The surgical extraction procedure was recommended, and we proceeded with the full dental extraction on October 16, 2025. On October 18, 2025, Tico began experiencing repeated episodes of uncontrollable pawing and mouth movements, each lasting several seconds and occurring 30–50 times in succession, day and night. Sedation was the only temporary relief, yet these groups of episodes repeated for 25 or more times each day. On October 20, 2025, I sought urgent follow-up care at your office. I was assured that Tico’s surgical sites appeared normal and that such behaviors could be attributed to irritation common in small dogs. On October 24, 2025, when the episodes did not subside, I returned for another urgent recheck. Again, I was told that his recovery was progressing normally. On October 28, 2025, when the episodes did not subside, I consulted our personal veterinarian. Her thorough oral examination under anesthesia revealed a two-inch suture hanging down the back of Tico’s throat, which was promptly removed. Following this intervention, Tico’s symptoms resolved, and he returned to normal activity without further episodes. Your team failed to provide the essential follow-up care expected in any quality surgical practice. The suffering endured by Tico and our family over ten days could have been avoided with a comprehensive post-operative examination—an oversight that is unacceptable. Sincerely, David Hinkamp. She has a broken tooth with an additional slab fracture and both Jenny and Dr. Rutkauskas made sure I had all the information to make the best decision to preserve the tooth. Everyone in the office was so nice and made sure both Penny and I were comfortable. Penny bounced back quickly from her root canal, and I am very happy with our experience.

He was very friendly, professional, and thorough with explaining everything he thought was going on with his teeth and what to expect during his procedure. The images we got were awesome and will be a big help to our vet to be able to care for him moving forward. Experiencia fantástica: I took my 15 year old cat with kidney disease here for dental work. They are 100% transparent with what happens before, during, and after the procedure. What issues are possible to run into, how much these things can cost, and why they run every test/do every scan. He did great, had no averse reactions, and is healing fast. Everyone who worked there was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. The office is quiet and clean. They even had a room with a couch and cat tree which is great because my cat usually shakes like a leaf at the vet and has mini panic attacks. 10 out of 10 worth the money.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me just start by saying our Frenchie Gouda is a CHEWER. The idea of having dental surgery and going under anesthesia with a past history of anesthetic complications scared us to death. Frenchies are already predisposed to so many breathing problems and Dr Kling was so patient with us as we cried nervous tears. Through every step of the process they asked if we had questions and gave thorough answers. We drove over an hour and a half to come to this place specifically because of all the 5 star reviews. It was worth every penny and the reviews don’t do them justice. HIGHLY recommend to any pet with dental needs. Thank you again to all the nurses and doctors who took great care of our little Gouda!

Dr. Sasser proactively considered how the extractions might impact adjacent teeth, and I was amazed by how thoroughly and skillfully the surrounding teeth were treated to prevent any interference with vital pulp treatment. Experiencia fantástica: As you can imagine, being a pet parent is pretty nerve-wracking when you think about your furbaby's health. It doesn't help when you are also are an anxious person with medical anxiety. However, the staff here helped me become very comfortable. Upon walking in, it doesn't feel like a cold and sterile environment. It is very zen and welcoming like a spa. It also lacks the familiar smell of a doctor's office. Right off the bat, your senses don't trigger you and possibly not even your pet. It helps ease you and my pet wasn't very reactive like he would be at the vet. He was very calm. They even had refreshments to help manage my anxiety such as caffeine-free teas. The receptionist was also very welcoming and provided ample assistance. She even makes sure your pet isn't alone when you have to step away for the bathroom. When they prepared my little guy, they let him stay with me for comfort until they were ready to take him in to work on cleaning his teeth. Afterwards, they allowed me to stay in the waiting area so I wouldn't be too far and if they needed me right away. (Pet parents, do yourselves and your pets a favor and be there. They can pick up when you're not around and it can make them very anxious.) They've even given me opportunities to see them do my pet's scans as an added layer of reassurance. They also watch your pets very carefully im a controlled and safe environment after the procedure to make sure they are comfortable and recovering properly. The nurses, techs, and other staff members including the doctors I met in passing were very nice and upbeat. Very sociable and not in a hurry and not dismissive at all. Even when busy, they often find a moment that they can carve out to address any concerns. However, they are often thorough and can leave you with all your questions answered. The fact that everyone is so reassuring is invaluable to me in helping facilitate the whole process. They take a vested interest in their patients even on a personal level. After the cleaning, it was like day and night. His teeth were as white as when he was a pup. They did a very good and thorough job cleaning his teeth and avoiding anything unnecessary. They even explained the process of his tartar build up and how simply wiping his teeth with a wet gauze is enough to maintain his oral health on a daily basis. Dr. Rutkauskas is very amazing and such a pure-hearted soul. You can tell she loves working with animals and is a genuine human being. She was very comforting to me and when she speaks about any concerns, she knows how to speak in a manner that can soften the blow and help maintain optimism. She even offered helpful treats to help maintain my pet's health that my pet was very receptive to (he is a very picky eater and ordinarily would not go for treats like those) which surprised me. Melissa was very informative, patient, and all around careful and amazing as well. She called early in the morning to check up on my pet and myself and offered helpful advice, even calling back after double-checking with the doctor to verify safe precautions and comfort measures for my dog while still recovering from the previous day. I'm grateful to the team here. They are awesome.

Everyone was patient and answered all our questions. The doctor met with us personally after our dog had many teeth extracted to make sure we understood everything that took place.

Experiencia fantástica: We had an amazing experience with VDC. I would recommend them to any pet owner, especially those who have pets that might have some issues with dentals. The entire process was smooth and we felt at ease leaving our 3lb/14 year old chihuahua in the hands of the staff after our regular vet said she would need to see a specialist. Frankie had all of her teeth taken out, and she was back to her old self within a day or two. Jenny was especially great day-of helping explain and preparing us for her surgery, and calling the next day to check in. It really felt like there was deep and sincere care towards our girl. Thank you to Dr. Juriga and everyone on staff for making this potentially scary situation a good one, we appreciate you all!!!

It feels like being with family while you are there. Our pup was never anxious- they always showed him so much love. Every single employee is helpful and super sweet. Experiencia fantástica: The folks here are excellent and really know what they are doing! My senior cat has a heart murmur and kidney disease and they were able to give him a much needed dental without any issues. They took excellent care of him and also take care of me too, offering drinks and snacks. They were very accommodating and did the dental first thing in the morning so that I could take my baby home sooner and wouldn't encounter as much traffic driving back into the city. I would definitely trust them with any dental work. Highly recommended!

When I found out my sphynx needed major dental work I opted to bring her here. The staff were great and made sure my cat and myself were well taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my animals here for further dental work. Edit May 2025 This is my second time visiting and I can't say enough good things. I brought in my greyhound Astro (his littermate) is the dog who passed from a dental previously. They took amazing care of him and me. I had all my questions ready to ask but it wasn't necessary, they were all answered before I asked. I was very impressed with their knowledge of greyhounds. I am happy to have found them. They accommodate me in every way I ask.

Experiencia negativa: This place is all about the money. Paid $3400 for a root canal and fill and 1 year later my dog's canine tooth looks like it's rotting. Contacted via email with a picture of the tooth and here comes the $1000 to $1400 residual a year later. The bonding material didn't set at all. If I have to pay more I'm heading to Madison with him. Why would I go back?? Sent an email back and was totally ghosted and admittedly, wasn't a nice email. They didn't even have my dog's name spelled correctly or my email correct. When he was done with the root canal last year Dr. Sasser didn't even come out and speak to me and I got the 2nd level instead. You would think we would at least get some kind of acknowledgement but guess you need to hurry up to the next money making work for the day. I would really advise getting other opinions as I was suckered into the 5 star reviews for my fur baby as I wanted the best for him. I literally threw $3400 out the door let alone my time wasted. Also before the rebuttal comes, my dog has zero interest in bones and only like soft squeaky toys.....and they are dogs. My opinion has totally changed on reviews. I would highly advise you do your homework before throwing thousands in the trash can. Update as of 4.16.2025. Went to UW Madison to have his tooth and has been absolutely perfect. Make sure for dental go to Madison and skip this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kling took amazing care of my 5 year old Frenchie, Lilo. I was a little freaked out to learn she would need almost all of her upper teeth extracted but Dr. Kling reassured me and explained things to me in a calm, professional manner and kept me updated during the whole procedure via phone calls. All staff members here are so caring and kind, they checked on Lilo multiple times post-procedure to ensure her recovery went well. Would absolutely recommend anyone considering dental care for pet to these dentists!

I was terrified to put her under due being told for 4 years it was not recommended. They walked me through every step from the consultation, to admittance and after surgery. Aside from the experienced and specialized dental care they provide - they ensured that both of my cats were comfortable, as stress free as possible under the circumstances and gave me updates throughout the day. I highly recommend VDC. I just wish I lived closer:)

Experiencia fantástica: I was very impressed with VDC, the entire staff prioritized the comfort and care of my dog who had a fractured tooth and me, the worried dog mom. Dr. Kling was very patient and thorough in explaining the entire process and options and I felt comfortable entrusting them with Poppy’s care. The surgery went great and the staff went above and beyond when Poppy showed signs of distress and confusion coming out of anesthesia and rather than drugging her more, they found a private place for me to be with her and she immediately settled down and fell asleep until she was cleared to leave. I drove from Chicago and waited at the clinic for a very long day. It is comfortable and cozy, more like a well appointed living room and the staff kept me updated made me feel very comfortable during the wait.

Dr. Hassan removed multiple teeth that had to be extracted, there was quite a bit of bone loss. He explained the whole process in detail and gave us all the needed information for after care when we were ready to take our dog home. We hope this will extend her life.

Experiencia fantástica: I am happy to say that Dr. Juriga has been treating my dogs for almost 20 years; various dogs, puppies to seniors, with a wide assortment of dental related disorders. He has safely performed routine cleanings, root canals, removal of oral tumors, dental extractions and filled dental cavities. Dr. Juriga spends as much time as needed during the consult and I comfortably rely on his guidance and expertise in developing the best treatment plan. His staff is caring, professional and friendly and I know that my dogs are safe and getting the best care possible when I drop them off for treatment at Veterinary Dental Center.

Experiencia fantástica: We have had 3 kitties over the past few years who have been fortunate to experience the expert care and surgical skills of Dr. Juriga and his well-qualified staff. I would never have entrusted my kitties’ care to anyone else because of their special needs. We lost a healthy cat to anesthesia with our regular vet, so I was especially nervous about complicated procedures which normally would take long hours under anesthesia. But Dr. Juriga would be able to do them in nearly half the time making the procedures much safer. One kitty required having broken canines removed which could have caused jaw breakage. Other teeth were infected and had to be removed. Another required that all of his teeth be removed behind his canines. Another was frail and elderly. With thorough explanations of precautions to be taken, I felt relieved to know my kitties were in good hands, and they were!

Experiencia fantástica: I brought my cat Aspen in for an almost full mouth extraction and saw Dr. Katie Kling who was absolutely excellent. The entire staff was kind, responsive, and extremely helpful. At the time, I was worried about Aspen potentially having HCM, which as of today she has been officially diagnosed with, and Dr. King made sure to sit down with me and take that into consideration, explaining the risks and walking me through exactly what would happen during the procedure. I cannot recommend this office and their team enough for their professionalism and the respect they have for the owners, making sure to always keep them in the know and not assuming they know how things work. Thank you all so much for the care you provided to my best friend.

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 experience at the Veterinary Dental Center. Our vet tech was kind, gentle, and informative. Dr. Juriga was amazing. He is the cream of the crop in veterinary dentistry. We traveled over 3 hours to have him extract 16 teeth from our Cocker Spaniel. Everything from pre-op and surgery to post-op and healing was timely and seamless. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This place was absolutely amazing! Our Basset hound Bryan had cancer on the side of his lower jaw. It was an extremely hard decision to have him go through the process of having his lower jaw removed. The doctors and the staff didn’t rush us into anything and were extremely comforting and knowledgeable about this type of cancer. They were able to remove all of it and even though he has had to learn a few new tricks on how to eat, he is doing great! Everything they said happened, and they had our dogs best interest in mind! I would give them ten stars!! Highly recommend them to anyone!!

They made me feel so assured and my dog was actually comfortable there. She even let the vet pet her. Dr. Jurgis explained everything to me in detail and I was able to watch her during her procedure. Which shows how much they trust that they will give the pets the absolute best care. Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend this veterinary dental center! Our lab/cattle dog mix chipped a tooth and we decided to go here instead of her regular veterinarian. They were well equipped to handle her despite her high anxiety even when pre-medicated. The staff and doctor communicated well with us throughout the whole process and even recovery after what ended up being 2 tooth extractions instead of 1. Really wish they could be our regular veterinary office!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Veterinary Dental, this place is exceptional. My poor dog experienced some dental trauma, and the amazing staff fixed her right up. I had initially taken her to the emergency vet, but since her injury was dental we had to transfer her care. Not only did we get an appointment the same day, but my dog was able to get a CT, have a procedure to pull the injured teeth, and go home that evening. It was a rough day to say the least, but this amazing place put us at ease and took such good care of my baby. Five teeth less but this lil pup is still smiling ❤️

Luna had reoccurring infections & we were holding off on the procedure due to her health conditions. From the consultation, procedure & post op- every person we interacted with provided outstanding care. I was very anxious for months leading up to the procedure, yet I was reassured & felt they took the time to address any questions or concerns. This was a costly service but it was worth every cent. Nothing could beat the peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands. I am praying the quality of her life improves considering oral health connects with everything. I couldn’t be more thankful for this dental center!

My puppy had to get a tooth extraction here, and I was very apprehensive as I weighed the decision between deciding to do a root canal or extraction after discovering a tooth of hers was nonvital. Dr. Kling was very thoughtful and helpful in guiding that decision. My puppy did well on the day of the procedure, and they provided clear instructions on how to manage her in the days and weeks following the procedure. Everything went according to plan and there were no surprises or deviations from what was communicated to me. Throughout the appointments and procedure day, I felt confident that my puppy was in good and loving hands - and everything discussed and decided was ultimately with her best interests in mind. She had previously had a deep cleaning at our general vet's office where she had many teeth removed, but due to technology limitations they were unable to remove one. We took her to VDC and every single staff person treated her with the best care. Her recovery was quick and she's a very active pup with no pain in her mouth. It's worth every penny they charge.

From the initial appointment with Dr. Rutkauskas I was put at ease because how attentive she was and thorough with her explanation. She listened to all my concerns and was very professional. The procedure itself went great. I was kept informed of how it went and after I was explained the findings and actions taken. I would highly recommend this clinic for dental needs. My dog's teeth look brand new and I know it's essential for her health and longevity. We're happy customers.

I was worried about the anesthesia both because of his age and also because of his breed, which is sensitive to anesthesia. Veterinary dental center was phenomenal!!!! They answered all my questions, And carefully and thoroughly went over the procedure with me before it was done, and then they were equally phenomenal about follow-up care. They did a wonderful job in his teeth, they Look great, I Don't think he even experienced any pain and he had four extractions done.

Experiencia fantástica: Pan's dental procedure, though extreme, went off very well. He healed quickly and is now back to his happy self. Dr. Juriga led us through the reasons why the extractions were absolutely necessary to his continued good health. We are going to continue to be vigilant when it comes to cleaning his teeth and are hoping that will help in preventing further dental problems. We feel fortunate to have found such good care for our little guy and are grateful to everyone at Veterinary Dental Center for their patience with our seemingly endless questions, friendliness, and competence.

Being a senior dog with a heart condition he needed special care and the technicians at the Vet Dental Center were super knowledgeable and very thorough in getting all his health checked prior to his procedure. The day of I felt nervous but trusted them and their expertise. They were very attentive and really care for the animals that they treat. Even Max liked them. He's not always a personable dog but he seemed at ease with them. I would definitely recommend VDC to anybody for their pets dental needs. Especially the riskier ones.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't really write reviews but with this I have to. My little buddy Jack needed an extensive surgery. The first appoint I had to cancel because Jack is a heart failure patient and Dr Hassan wanted him on Vetmedin for at least 2 weeks before surgery. I couldn't get it in time to have him on it but for a few days before. I talked to Dr Hussan and he moved the appointment so Jack would be optimal to handle surgery. He treated Jack like his own family. From the receptionist, to the nurse's to the Dr's, especially Dr Hassan the experience has been excellent! The center is more like a home than a vet clinic. Extremely clean and comforting. Yesterday Jack had his surgery and it was much more extensive than previously thought because the CT scan showed a lot more hidden problems. A 60-90 min surgery turned in to 3 hrs. They close at 6 and he didn't get out of recovery til about 6. Extremely bad weather was coming in. Did they rush, no! I actually left at almost 730. They had him recover. The nurse explained how the surgery went, then Dr Hassan gave me all the post op procedures and what to do at home. I felt bad for the staff working so late, but they were in no rush like other places would be. The treatment I got and the treatment Jack got wasn't from from Dr's, nurses and receptionists. The treatment I got was from family because that is EXACTLY what the staff at Veterinary Dental Specialists are! They care. They REALLY CARE about you and your pet as their family. Being Jack is a heart patient what he had going on could've essentially killed him and Dr Hassan literally saved his life. I can't thank him or the staff enough for the extreme thoroughness and care they had. I will recommend them to EVERYBODY. Thank you all again so much! Love you all!

The team at VDC was wonderful to work with; alleviating my anxiety about the procedure as a whole, answered all of my questions, and overall put me at ease with the process. They were very clear with communicating how the procedure and post-op would go, and everything they said was spot on. My dog ran off with them without hesitating, which is what you want to see as a pet parent, so I knew I was in good hands. I really can't say enough nice things about VDC.

Mac had a CT scan to detect dental issues like bone loss around his teeth and a full cleaning. I felt totally confident with the process. And was even able to observe. I will definitely be using this team for all my canine dental needs.
