Experiencia fantástica: Omg I had been without my teeth for 4 years, someone told me to go to bright smiles after seeing people’s bad dentures in Etown I was petrified because I didn’t want it to look like I had false teeth. I went to bright smiles and my teeth look so real it boosted my self confidence to the moon, I started singing again, probably will start dating soon. I feel like the sky is the limit. The staff was so amazing a few times I missed my appointment but they made a way for me to be seen. They are so personable with their patients they truly care, I’m grateful I was referred I wish I could give more stars because of them my quality of life has improved so much!

Experiencia negativa: please stay away from here go to ruby dental!! i am very prone to cavities so came to my appointment to get them drilled and filled. so, they numb me and come back like an hour later and start drilling on my teeth and i. can. feel. it. i told them im not numb i can feel it. she numbs me again with attitude and leaves for like 30 minutes. she starts drilling again and i tell her I CAN STILL FEEL IT! she tries to convince me i am feeling the vibration. no i can feel the drill so close to my nerve it is throbbing im crying. she tells me just raise your hand when it hurts stop talking and we will pause. she was getting very frustrated with me. so i tried that and she ended up ignoring me because it hurt so bad i kept stopping. she was so frustrated she took the hook thingy you use to pick and hooked my tongue with it which as you can imagine hurt really bad too. it pierced my tongue. even the young ladies she had watching over her shoulder looked very concerned and they were extra nice to me. i left sobbing my mouth hurting so bad. i’m not a weak person but this definitely traumatized me a little getting my teeth worked on. ruby dental i trusted since then and i was numb first try and they were awesome and understanding. this was over a year ago but i tell everyone to stay away from bright smiles.

Experiencia positiva: The receptionist Karen is very rude and it makes me want to go elsewhere. I was trying to appeal a claim for dental work and I think she’s getting aggravated with me a bout it and actually knows my name and number when I call. She doesn’t want to be bothered with me and acts like it’s a burden to do anything that I was told by my insurance. I had to call several times to with the appeal process for more info. If she can’t handle the patients she’s needs to go! But as far as the employees in the back no issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I was there Monday, for a triple root canal on my front teeth. They were absolutely amazing. And you can tell that they CARE about their clients/patients. From the moment I walked in til time to go they were kind, caring, calm. They communicated well (which is important to me because I’m normally terrified) I am extremely grateful for Bright smiles!!! Experiencia negativa: They did a root canal, which took like four hours because the staff kept leaving the room. They kept having to give me lidocaine shots, about 20 because the numbness kept wearing off, probably bc the staff kept leaving me alone for thirty minutes at a time. Then they stopped taking my insurance, so I went somewhere else a couple of years later and when they did the initial exam, the discovered that the previous dentist, bright smiles dental care, did not put a crown over the tooth that they did the root canal on. I guess I was lucky that tooth never cracked. But the new dentist, Mortensen Family Dental, went through the whole process of making the crowne and putting it on my tooth. I think Bright Smiles Dental Care are negligent and incompetent.

Experiencia negativa: Will not be back to this office again. Brought my daughter in november, and while we was there the Dentist reprimanded her assistants in front of us and loudly. Told them to "stop talking so much". Then at today's visit they inform me I cant go back with my 13 yr old new rule beginning this January. I was upset so they did let me go while they numbed her up. Karen the receptionist is very rude also. Just not a very good experience and we wont be back.

Experiencia fantástica: The lady's there are so sweet and reassuring. I was so nervous and they talked me through everything, the women who fixed my broken front tooth made it her mission to make it a perfect fix and did beautifully. I'm beyond impressed and so happy I decided to come here.

Experiencia negativa: Went in for a root canal , as she got started the anesthesia had not kicked in so I began to move around in my seat from pain and she threatened to stop the procedure in the middle of a root canal I had to let her know that anesthesia did not kick in, fast forward a couple years later and that same root canal needs to be redone. It was a painful and bad experience.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME!! My appointment was at 9:00, the dentist was 45 minutes late to my appointment and did not care for my time at all. The assistant numbed my mouth and by the time the dentist got there the numbing had almost wore off.

Experiencia fantástica: Bright Smiles is a wonderful place. I will be honest from a person who has severe anxiety I was scared but the dental hygentists and the dentist herself were wonderful. Fully numbed me for my extraction and even when I was panicking helped me ease my anxiety. I even got to keep my tooth afterwards if that is your fancy. I truly believe if you are looking for some place to go and you need dental work done this is where you need to go.

I had an emergency situation, and she got me in right away without any hassle. She made me feel comfortable the whole time and explained everything clearly. You can tell she truly loves her work. I’m so glad I found her — I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Experiencia negativa: To start off, I do wanna say the front desk girls are the nicest people. I came here i believe toward the end of last year and had some fillings done. There was one tooth where i overheard the dentist tell one of her coworkers that i was gonna have to have a root canal on it, but continued to fill it in anyways, didn't think too much of it at the moment, but a month passed by and I still could not even bite down on that tooth cause it hurt. I thought maybe its still sore from the fill in , but months later I still felt a horrible pain. So my question is, if you knew i would need a root canal, why go ahead and fill the tooth in anyways? I feel like its so close to the nerve and feels like a throbbing pain. But now theres nothing i can do cause they dont accept my insurance anymore.

Not only about nervous wreck when it comes to the dentist cuz I ain't been in 20 years but the dental hygienist act like a nervous wreck too. Very clumsy tripping over the chords that are hooked up the devices in my mouth damn near getting teeth out I will not be back

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend. They would not allow my well behaved children to sit in the room with me so I could keep my appointment. They literally wanted me to leave them in the waiting room. They charged me a 25.00 fee because I refused to leave my children in a public place alone. Sorry for being a responsible parent!! So, I basically paid a fee for the safety of children. Pretty ridiculous. Very unprofessional place.

Experiencia negativa: The girl that done my fillings took out B1 color and replaced with A1 , which is a difference in whiteness. They refuse to fix now. Because the girl had no idea what she was doing, she has changed my smile until I can get it fixed. They don’t care about the patients satisfaction. They need a more experienced staff. A lot of ignorance there, which will lead to a lawsuit eventually.

After she was done she went off on her employees. Slamming doors and yelling. Telling one young lady that she’ll send her home next time. Very unprofessional and embarrassing. Especially with a client full of people

Experiencia negativa: Just spare yourself and go somewhere else. My cleaning was a nightmare. The dental assistant was extremely rough and kept touching other stuff with her gloves (keyboard, mousepad, mouse, chair, who knows what else) and then putting them back in my mouth. When I came in to get my fillings, I waited with my jaw propped open for 2 hours. My jaw is permanently damaged and I can hardly chew for very long 6 months later. It hasn’t gotten any better. Not to mention the intense cold and hot sensitivity on the teeth they worked on. I’ve had pain on that side of my mouth ever since. They are rough, uncleanly, wait times are insane, and I believe they are only putting a bandaid on the problem so you’ll have to come back to them. It’s a joke honestly. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Experiencia negativa: Call to set up a new patient appointment as they are one of the preferred dental providers for my dental insurance. Receptionist said she would email me the new patient paperwork. Never received paperwork. Called in requesting it be sent again finally received it. Emailed it back never received a confirmation email even after asking them if they had gotten it. The night before my appointment called and left me a voicemail at 8 pm letting me know the dentist would be unavailable for my 9am appointment and they were moving it to 1. Unfortunately I work and this was not possible for me. Called and had them reschedule. Over the phone I was told my appointment was today, when I showed up at 9 am the receptionist was very rude when I explained the issues I’ve had as far as getting paperwork and my scheduling. She said “we don’t email paperwork” when I literally showed her the email of the paperwork on my phone. She told me my appointment was for July 1st even though I had been advised over the phone that it was today. Called to cancel my new patient appointment and let the receptionist know I was very unhappy with the office staffs level of customer service. She didn’t offer to have a manager or anyone speak with me. Very unhappy with the level of customer service provided to new patients in this office. Today was the first and only time I will step foot in this office.

Experiencia negativa: Called and said I have a broken tooth and need it fixed. They set an appointment just to not fix it. Drove an hour there for nothing. They don't tell you your first visit is only an "evaluation." Then they want you to come back to get the needed work done. Ridiculous!

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dentist. The doctor was extremely rude. I would not go here unless it’s for a cleaning. The hygienists were nice, but my appointment was very rushed. I had 3 fillings when she was done I said the fillings were not filed down enough, and she proceeded to argue with me. Now my bite is off, and my tooth is flat almost. I’m having pain and a headache due to this work. I definetly would not go to Bright Smiles for anything again!

Honestly they made me feel like family. The pictures attached is the before visiting their office and after. I went so long neglecting my teeth and afraid to see a dentist…. Because truth be told I was scared of the dentist just pulling my teeth. But I found bright smiles. I went in one day thinking I was just going to get a cleaning and a few fillings done to prepare my teeth for extraction for partials because I thought my teeth was beyond repair…. But Dr. Aburob came in after my cleaning and told me she was going to save my teeth and give me my smile back. And that is exactly what her and her team done. I am so grateful I found Bright Smiles. They gave me my confidence back to smile. I highly recommend them!!!

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff here is amazing! Everyone that I've spoken to at the front desk has been very nice and understanding. At my first appointment Kris was my hygienist and she was very kind, thorough, and straightforward. I found out that I needed a root canal and she reassured me that it would not be as bad as I had heard. Dr A did my root canal about 2 weeks later and it was very quick and virtually painless. You can tell that she really cares about what she does. Maryam was her assistant and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time as well as answering all of my questions at the end. I'm so glad that I've finally found a dentist that I'm comfortable and not stressed about going to.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist doesn’t know what she’s doing she done fillings on my teeth but put to much filling in them then I go back today for her to adjust them and ofc she didn’t adjust them all the way my fillings are still to high in a couple of my teeth and I can’t even eat on that side bc my teeth hurt and I told her it hurts while she was drilling on my teeth and she got rude with me and said she didn’t do anything to hurt me then proceeded to drill on my teeth to adjust my fillings and then she asking me why do I keep moving for being rude I told her it hurts and she kept making me bite on this thing to test my bite but she drilled part of my tooth off I can literally fill my gum in the center of my tooth right now and I can fell the part she drilled off too and when I went to get my fillings idk what she did but on the outside of the same tooth is messed up too so no I don’t recommend this dentist what so ever. She literally made my teeth worse then better

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Aburob did an amazing job on my teeth today. She was patient. She is definitely an artist. First try at making them feel like my “normal bite” didn’t have to do it twice. Miss Maryam was the assistant and she was kind and did the fillings which were evidently done professionally with the Dr being able to grind them down perfectly. Ms Kris, the teeth cleaning lady was very gentle and very knowledgeable. Offered me an option for dry mouth and gave samples. Deena at the front desk was very professional and outspoken. The entire experience was comforting.

I cried tears of joy when I seen my teeth afterwards! I can’t remember the sweet lady that assisted her but you are both super friendly and made me feel welcomed. We have tried several dentists in the past, but this was the first place my mother has felt comfortable going back. The work is exceptional and if anything is wrong they go out of their way to fix it. Dentist has high quality of work.

Experiencia fantástica: I came across this on Friday around 3pm I call every dentist office in Elizabeth town everyone and they mama was out shopping so I called Bright Smiles very nice ppl they picked up and front desk lady was very helpful so we set my appointment for this morning so I came in this morning very warmth inside and felt very welcome but the sad thing is my insurance company said I was out of network SMH so I was sad but you know what they helped me found a dentist that can take my insurance and I was so pleased and I really appreciate the help so I highly recommend Bright Smiles if you need a Dentist im definitely going to change out my HMO to PPo next enrollment next year THANk you Bright Smiles

Experiencia negativa: This is by far the WORST place to have any dental work done. I brought my daughter for cavity fillings they took 2 and a half hours to fill 6 teeth then messed 3 up and my daughter has been in pain from that for a week, then came back to get that fixed and waited hour and half and had nothing done but a X-ray. We left to go find another dentist this is ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk and assistants were amazing but that’s the only good thing about this place. The first time we were there they didn’t take X-rays of my kids teeth correctly and took over an hour and a half. The second and last time we were there I was humiliated and verbally scolded in front of my own daughter while she was in the chair. I have always looked a lot younger than I am and people always treat me like I’m naive when it comes to parenting my own kid so I’m use to that but this was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Instead of pulling me to the side or in the hallway she disrespected me and made me feel like I’m a complete failure as a mom. I burst out in tears from how she talked to me with my daughter right there. I was LIVID!!!! We immediately left as fast as possible. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: I will start with the good. Their front desk customer service was good for me. The ladies were very nice to me. Now to the bad. My first appointment, which was do a cleaning and see what I needed done to my teeth, the dentist was very rough with my cleaning. She was not afraid to hit my super sensitive spots repeatedly. She down talked to me a little, but I guess I deserved it. My Second appointment, which was to extract all four of my wisdom teeth. I walked into the office and paid for all four teeth to be removed. the numbing of my teeth was not too bad, just what you would probably normally experience. When it came down to the actual procedure, it was the worst experience that I have ever had. The Dentist kept on forgetting things all the while she was training someone new. I felt like she was in a hurry to get this over and done with the entire time. The numbing started to ware off about half way through the procedure and I kept raising my left hand (per her instructions) to let her know that I was feeling extreme pain. my legs were shaking because of all of the pain that I was experiencing, and I was sweating like the morning dew. I feel sorry for the person who had to clean up after me. I even almost swallowed one of my teeth, which was partially my problem. In the end I only got three of my four wisdom teeth pulled out and I still have yet to get my money back for the fourth. I believe that i now have two dry sockets as a result of the roughness that was used. I would caution against using this dental care office.

Experiencia negativa: Went to get dentures was told insurance would pay for a portion of it I paid the other portion up front took over 2 months to receive and the visit that I get to take them home they told me my insurance wouldn't work so had to pay for the whole denture and they are still working on them to get them to fit correctly and after this visit left me with blisters on my gums do not recommend at all

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place. Horrible customer service. Then when my fiance tried to get his false teeth fixed, they shoved them into his mouth so hard he has blisters all over his gums. Do not recommend going here.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible customer service including ordering panoramic x-rays without disclosing costs if the insurance would not cover it. They ordered them too soon (and without looking in my mouth or asking if I had any issues) so now I have to pay out of pocket. The hygienist told me “it is time” for your panoramic so I assumed they had consulted my dental records to see I was due. Previously I arrived for an appointment only to find out the dentist was not able to be in that day. The office did not even try to contact me to let me know. My rescheduled appointment was weeks out. Hygienists rarely stay long in this office so expect to see a different one each time you visit.

Experiencia negativa: Please for your own well being do not use this dentist office! They installed an implant and was supposed to install a bridge about two weeks later. After a month I started calling them. I spoke to someone five times (twice with Ann) and every time I was told that they would call me back in a couple of hours. I still haven’t heard from them. The implant they did install discolored within two weeks. The dentist broke the tooth they were supposed to attach the bridge to. I really liked the hygienist in this office but she was overshadowed by the lack of service from the front desk. Dana and Ann are horrible about returning calls like they promise. Just a terrible lack of customer service. Took a year to have an implant done and then didn’t install the bridge. And when I told them I would cancel any future work to be done they didn’t care. So, they broke a tooth they had to abstract, installed a discolored implant, refused to return my many phone calls and I just got off the phone with my insurance company and it sounds like they charged me for work they didn’t complete. You shouldn’t need more reasons to stay away. I hope they replace their front office and I hope the Hygienist and assistants find a better office to show off their experience. It was a horrible experience!

Experiencia negativa: There is zero customer service at this dental office. First we made an appt and showed up at the scheduled time and they had double booked us so we had to re-schedule. This was after taking our child out of school and driving an hour to the dentist. Then for her rescheduled appt I got a confirmation txt that morning for it. I took her out of school again, drove an hour to the dentist and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for the week. I have no idea why, but really whatever the reason, they should have had the courtesy to call and reschedule the appt or at least send a cancellation txt so they did not waste our time and cause our child to miss ANOTHER day of school for no reason. Then when we called to reschedule there wasn’t even an apology. Now they have just called and said they scheduled her for the wrong exam tmrw and have to cancel again. They just now sent in the request for approval for what she needs and it will take weeks to get back. The receptionist was rude and had the audacity to say they would need $100 deposit to hold the spot for her once they got approval and it would be refunded as long as she showed up for the appt. But they would keep it if she missed. Meanwhile they had no problem wasting our time. Needless to say we will be looking for a new dentist.

Experiencia negativa: They set an appointment for you and then they cancel because their doctor isn't in and then they reschedule you almost a month later and then your appointment is the next day and then you find out that it's canceled also because they ended up dropping your health insurance which I probably wouldn't have known because they wouldn't have called me to let me know and then when I try to call them they never answer their phones So I'm not doing business with these people anymore they're horrible

Experiencia negativa: Friendly staff. You’re not seen at your appointment time. That’s okay I guess. I work in a medical office so I understand. What made me upset today, was when I got a notification about my upcoming appointment reminder when I never scheduled an appointment. I clearly remember telling the front staff/dentist assistant after my last appointment that I wasn’t feeling too well to schedule an appointment and that I will call another time to set it up, but somehow I got an appointment scheduled with a date and time? This is unacceptable. Update 1/17/23: My husband received a letter from collections today. Bright Smile only sent me ONE bill in December with no due date. I never got any call,text or emails or any other notifications regarding my bill, so why is it sent out to collections? It’s whatever, my bill with Bright Smile is paid for, and the receptionist stated she was going to speak to the manager to take care of collection. This is the most unprofessional dental practice ever and I do not recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend. Had an infected tooth that they told me needed to be removed immediately, so they scheduled my appointment for a month later. Felt every bit of the extraction, very traumatizing. Here almost 2 months later and I am still unable to eat on that side of my mouth because there are multiple pieces of that tooth in my gum, that were left behind & it is EXTREMELY painful. Seeing a new dentist soon. Will never go here again. The female dentist who performed this extraction also had horrible bedside manner and gaslighted my pain throughout the whole procedure.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist office is a joke! They are crooks! We will be filing a lawsuit! We have all our receipts and will get our money back! The Dana lady is a rude liar and needs to be fired right along with the lady dentist. If it is the last thing I do I will get our money back from this office and I will make sure this office loses their ability to practice dentistry. I pray no one else is affected like my husband has been.

Experiencia negativa: Pre-covid I had some dental work here and was pleased for the most part with service, cleanliness and atmosphere. Here 2 yrs later I call because I have a toothache ( bad pain) and was informed I owe a $25 fee for a missed appt, ok I said I’ll pay it when I come to my appt- I was told No must be paid upfront - really! So not only did they not get $25 they lost an office visit charge, a possible extraction, X-rays and a good customer who always paid her bill and was willing to pay a charge I dint remember missing!

Experiencia fantástica: Best dentist in town. This dentist knows her stuff and stands her ground when it comes to her profession to make sure you get the best treatment possible. All these bad reviews are false, just people coming in with an attitude or feel like they’re the overly privileged like they’re smarter than the dr lol. She ain’t no push over so come with an attitude like you all that, accept one back lol she keeps it real. Overall great experience very professional love the receptionist and the hygienist along with all the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to everyone compared to the others!

Experiencia negativa: all they do is Medicaid so it takes 4 months just to get a cleaning. I just sent my friend there last week and he had an awful experience as well. The dentist is a horrible person and disrespectful. Her hygienist was super nice and complimented my new teeth. she x-rayed them and said they were stunning. I happened to go to another dentist who specializes in zerconia crowns and spent several thousand dollars on my new teeth. Later the dentist from bright smiles came in and began to go on a rant about how my teeth weren't done right I was overcharged and how i should have come there to get procedures done. she doesn't even offer things i had done which is crazy. I just bit my tongue and let her finish. Then today the dentist charged me $25 for a missed appointment and swiped my card like 12 times. I commented and asked her to try and figure out the machine then swipe my card. And she threw my card at me and began yelling at me. Then told me to get out. Trust me, avoid this lady at all costs!!!

Experiencia negativa: Made my daughter an appointment here and the people just seem to have no concern whatsoever with what she has going on. I told them that my daughter is getting bullied with what she has going on with her teeth. And the lady at the front desk is just like okay. The way that they show concern towards their customers and clients is a little concerning. They wanted my daughter to wait a month before she could even be seen and then whenever I asked about another dentist. I basically just got told good luck finding one and then was hung up on. So for someone who was supposed to be a brand new patient and terrifies me to even set foot in this place with the way that I've been treated over the phone

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. A is really nice. She did my fillings and is is scheduled for more work. She didn't hurt me at all and helped me with getting things set up for the next appointment. My only complaint is that I still have not got an email they are supposed to send me but I still give 5 stars.

Experiencia negativa: I would give 0 stars if possible. Grew up going to this dentist and never once did I have a good experience, I would leave crying and in pain after multiple times telling them I still feel everything. I left an appointment once with my I tooth chipped and my lip busted with the drill. I have photos of my mouth dated June 25 2019. I was unaware of what happened I just knew I was in pain but that wasn't uncommon here. I realized what happened after I left and my gums and lips turned black and blue. I’ve called multiple times over a 2 weeks span trying to get a appointment for a simple cleaning and they don’t answer the phone even after leaving messages with my name and number but yet they still send my grandmother a text stating its time for my cleaning. I’ve decided to find a new dentist and do not recommend coming here let alone bringing your child.
